  1. Once it was obvious they had that many empty spots, they should have just allowed people to move down. You still have a massive empty spot, but you make the experience way better for the paying customers you did get, and that keeps them as happy returning customers. They might be over a decade old now but they still need to worry about getting a 'base'. That would be one way.
  2. <p>Actually they changed the X Division so it DOES have a weight limit. Joe is the first competitor since the change to be over weight (I don't remember the new limit). But that's TNA, they forget their own stuff all the time.</p><p> </p><p> And AJ is not the Cena of TNA. Jarrett used to be but that ended when him and his Dad sold it to Panda.</p>
  3. Call me naive but I really hope that Brad's concussion IS only kayfabe. Cuz that looked legit even during slow motion replays.
  4. <p><span>http://i740.photobucket.com/albums/xx41/LordBarros/IMG_8434_zps7d26c8ce.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> I was sent this thru my cell phone by a friend who pre-ordered the game and has been sending me screenshots endlessly since yesterday.</p>
  5. <p>Some of you sound like football fans who only cheer for their hometown team when they are winning and making the playoffs and then call them bums when they lose.</p><p> </p><p> If you enjoy wrestling, then just sit back and enjoy it. Don't pick every little detail apart. You got TEW for that. #ITakeCheckorCashAdam</p>
  6. <p>GM Mode is back.</p><p> </p><p> I'll step away and let that sink in. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  7. The Miz is a decent wrestler with great mics skills and absolutely ran with the ball when he was given it a few years ago. He is just another case of too many people in the top half of the roster who deserve to be on top but there just isn't enough room/time, even with 3 hours of Raw and 2 of Smackdown, and all the B shows. People are gonna groan for me bringing this up, but this is why the Brand split was GOOD for business. More people got to shine when the shows were actually seperate. Now we got HHH, Orton, Bryan, Wyatt Family, etc on every show regardless of their 'brand'. It makes it impossible to have an entertaining mid-card. Matches like Slater/Santino are too few and far between. I WANT more mid-card matches/fueds. I want the divas to get their deserved time. I want local jobbers to show up and get their 3 minutes of fame.
  8. Speaking of boring chants, can the Cena haters give John some credit for taking the 'boring' chants during his promo and improv-ing so fluidly that it looked like it was meant to be that way.
  9. I am a big Christian fan and I didn't even think he would win the 3 way. Orton is head and shoulders the 'man' on Smackdown and #3 overall behind Punk and Cena (in that order)
  10. <p>It would have helped if Tito had done more than just stand there and stare toward the general area of the ring with a look on his face like he had no idea what was going on. </p><p> </p><p> That's the kind of look Jeff Hardy used to have after a 'quiet night at home'. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  11. <p>Okie, I'll make a serious post because I think this Christian/Edge discussion is VERY interesting. </p><p> </p><p> I have always been a huge Christian fan. I am also an Edge fan. I always thought back when they were E&C that it was going to be the C that broke out as a singles star</p><p> </p><p> When Edge first started his singles run to the main event, I didn't like it. He didn't seem to me like a major player. His intense promos were VERY forced. But once he won his 1st World title cashing in against Cena and the resulting feud that saw them go back and forth with the belt, I grew to respect Edge as a major star. Because he was. Edge obviously has a great look. He has the size. He did moves that got the crowd going and got them on the 'edge' of their seats. </p><p> </p><p> Meanwhile Christian, despite his better in ring work rate and better quality promos, was doing much less important feuds like "The $1 Canadian Bet" with Jericho and Trish. They also gave him a really cringe worthy gimmick for a while when he would throw a toddler tantrum in the ring. These things aren't Christians fault. He worked the best he could with the storylines they gave him. And I enjoyed every bit of what he did (minus the tantrums).</p><p> </p><p> Given the same push, either Edge or Christian always had the 'star power' and the charisma to be at the top. Edge was given the MitB and his victory catapulted him into the upper echelon of the WWE. Christian wasn't given that same opportunity until Edge retired. And by then, yes, Christian was older. Much older than Edge was when he was given the ball and told to run with it. Just imagine if Christian had been given the ball BEFORE he went to TNA. Yeah, it's a what if. But who can argue decisively that he wouldn't have made it.</p>
  12. Misawa died after a routine back suplex. You can't worry about the danger when you are in the ring. When you are a wrestler you go into the match knowing there is a risk of injury or worse. You just have to do your best to protect your opponent and hope that he/she is doing the same for you.
  13. You're right, Christian is just a 4 time World Champion. 2 in WWE and 2 in TNA. And he wasn't the biggest star that TNA had during the time he was there. He and Edge didn't have the best matches in the entire WWE during the TLC days. Christian gets NO pop when he comes out even today. Not being sarcastic at all.

Cody and Damien are likely to feud over the breifcase at some point and their plan (again this is just rumored and what I have heard but it sounds like it could be true) is to have Cody Rhodes defeat Damien Sandow for the breifcase and at that point they could do a full face turn with Cody because that would be perfect timing to do it IMHO.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I would like to see that. Would have been better without knowing ahead of time though lol. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  15. Am I the only one who really hopes they bring back "Hail Sabin" as his entrance theme now that he is the World champion? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

  17. I can not believe that is the same rat face Connor O'Brien that was on the early NXT. He's a total badass now. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  18. <p>The ending to tonite's iMPACT was great! ^_^</p><p> </p><p> It seemed like a waste to give away 'his' identity near the beginning of the show, but the pay off at the end made it all worth it.</p>
  19. AJ has a very Rowdy Roddy Piper feel to him right now, minus the comedy. I hope they take their time exploring where this can go, and I think they will. Is it a forgone conclusion already that AJ wins the BFG since that's when his 1 year without a title shot thing ends? Maybe he will lose in the finals as a swerve, but I dunno. It seems so obvious that it can't not happen. If that makes sense.
  20. Was I the only one who for a split second thought Darren Young was going to attempt a GTS to Punk? Maybe it's because I didn't remember what his actual finisher was until he did it. Anyway, GREAT Raw. The Bryan vs Orton match was PPV worthy. And I even enjoyed the Khali vs Ryback match and was surprised to see Khali get in like 90% of the offense. Very happy the Divas are finally getting storylines that don't involve AJ being a sl.... easy girl. Kaiylyn/AJ could end being the best thing since Trish/Lita.
  21. The Mark Henry segment was the best/worst thing WWE could have done. Best because no one thought it was a work. Mark's acting was incredible, and had many people in the crowd and at home in tears the same way Edge did when he was forced to retire because of injury. I can usually smell a work coming a mile away but this had me fooled. Worst for the same exact reason. What is going to happen the next time someone retires either because of age or an injury? Will they get the hero's farewell they rightfully deserve? Or will half the crowd and people at home just think it's another work?
  22. I was just replying to you saying maybe that's how RVD comes back to TNA, as a member of the Main Event Mafia. Obv, that won't be happening.
  23. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Active Jerichoholic" data-cite="Active Jerichoholic" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25170" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Maybe this is how RVD returns? Again, I don't really think it fits his character, but is a possibility.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> RVD is with WWE now. He debuts at Money in the Bank.</p>
