  1. I know the indies aren't paid attention to as much(especially deathmatch stuff), but I noticed something (subjectively in my opinion) surprisingly glaring in the data, at least from my end. The current IWTV champion, Krule, is not in the data at all(despite his name being in the title history for the IWTV championship and the guy who he's the alter ego of being assigned as such). He should be set as an alter ego for Logan Creed and Logan needs a boost in both stats and popularity. Surprisingly too, the other character he played under the mask in MLW, Mads Kreuger is also not in the data either. Considering his current status on the indies and how much buzz he's been driving the past couple years, this omition is decently glaring. Especially since he worked for DPW last year too Also in the same vein, Matt Tremont needs his current Killdozer alter ego added too.
  2. There's a multitude of these sorts of small little touches, but check WCCW for the one I'm talking about, someone very unexpected married into a famous family and is getting pushed off of it. I also like how ECW basically was our WWE in a sense ITTL with Punk being Austin Also one more question for @AboardTheArk, is Minoru Suzuki just not as big of a deal ITTL? Is he still considered the "rotten fruit" he was pre Suzuki-Gun?
  3. Alright. Probably the top question I feel like most are going to have is this. What happened to Okada in 2018 that caused him to retire? I'm assuming serious injury. But that's a massive loss for NJPW. Least Nakamura didn't leave but I'm assuming Ibushi was slotted in as the "new ace" instead? Good. Figured that was the case.
  4. Looked through a bit, appreciate that my suggestions were taken wholeheartedly. All three of the promotions I talked about look great now! Bear Country are still separated though contractually, unless that is your intent, you may wanna go look at that again. Also there was one thing I saw that really made me lose it in both a comedic and in a enjoyment sort of way that only an alternate timeline can give you. Don't want to spoil it for people though so I won't talk about it openly. But you'll know once you see it.
  5. I actually prefer the collapse personally. I think keeping the NWA small is a good call.
  6. Since I brought this mod up in a different thread as a good example of mod revival, I just wanted to pop in and check and see how things were going here.
  7. I agree with this. Technically, if someone starts the work on it, they should still be credited. I'm not a full on mod creator and have only helped in small aspects on some mods, however I want to give my input. I think this is a great idea. As a fan of some thing like the 9000k verse. The fact someone has brought that back for 2020 after it being abandoned for a decade due to its original creator not wanting to really do this anymore/being too busy is a great thing and should be embraced. I also think that if the mod creator announces publicly they are taking a break, that should omit the potential for said mod to reach "abandonware" status. There needs to be a clear indicator between "mod creator dropped off the face of the earth" and "mod creator is taking a mental health break and may be gone for like a month or two"
  8. Good to know on the CS/MLW stuff. That's also a fair way to look at things too.
  9. Looking at how the rosters look now, a fusion of RFP and NWA:EW sounds perfect. In terms of a name, I say we call it NWA:Elite Wrestling moniker, if the goal is to completely disregard Ric from its history (I assume he was worse than the allegations state in this timeline). It's best to drop the RFP lettering entirely. Especially since David is likely going to be kicked to the wayside too. There's a ton of IRL AEW people in RFP, so putting them together makes sense. (Plus having Anderson and Gallows and The Young Bucks on the same roster is pretty based even if Bullet Club didn't exist ITTL) On the second thing. I feel like Stampede as a whole should somewhat parallel Modern TNA/Impact just with a more Canadian flair. So while my first choice is Canadian Stampede, my second choice for a rename is going completely out of bounds and calling it Shockwave Wrestling (like how TNA changed it's name to Impact Wrestling, taking the name of their program and going with that, though if we went that direction, I'd suggest taking the company out of the hands of the Harts and have a TV conglomerate buy it like Anthem is to TNA now)
  10. This, plus a few of the characters (including ones I've submitted) from the Future Workers packs are deeper into their careers at this point so It's nice to see the status of your creations.
  11. I sent my ideas. Don't worry about masking people because the rosters should be changing. As much as I like him, Redbeard isn't going to be employed once we are done here if all goes to plan.
  12. I actually am looking under the hood a bit too myself, obviously. I noticed that NWA:Motor City and Project X have probably a bit too much crossover at least in my opinion. I'd love to take them both for a spin. Considering everything that's sort of happened in that sort of realm in recent years, Project X feels pretty undercooked(IMO I feel like it'd benefit from some slight LU vibes ontop of the WSX/XPW hybrid it is already) and while having a similar sort of product, NWA:MC should have more to stand out about it than just being "Project X but in Michigan". Also, I'm a huge deathmatch fan, so, while idk if you want someone to handle 3 companies at once, I'd also love to try and give CZP the update it needs too. Mind you, my plans in that regard are very "rebrand"y. I already have a notepad out and writing my "pitches" if you so desire to read them.
  13. I realized after I wrote what I did I potentially came off as a bit strong to someone who I know is only working on their first database. I apologize if I came off as rude as that was completely unnecessary. I'm glad you understand my points though. As far as Benoit goes, I feel like he was also set as "Left The Business" in iDom 2015 too but I could be wrong so that's just you being consistent. As I said, totally get it. Assume that's why Woman/Nancy is not even appearing in the database at all too. Again, 100% respect. In regards to controversial wrestling events too. I know you have a guy handling Japan, but the likelihood of Hana Kimura appearing on Terrace House and thus the spiraling of events that lead to her death seem a fair bit lower in this timeline, at least in my opinion. Again, if this is another "I just don't wanna touch that". I get it. But I feel a lot of the positives of iDom were avoiding "tragedy" as it were and creating a bit of a happier world. I mean, Art Barr, Owen, Eddie and a bunch of other wrestlers are still alive. I feel similarly in regards to Hayabusa being dead ITTL too,. FMW not existing means he probably does not break his neck off a botch which means his youngish death doesn't happen. At least, these are my thoughts.
  14. I agree in this case, like I understand it's an "alpha". But it feels kind of shallow and bland. If AWA plays like WCCW plays like MCW plays like NWA:AA plays like WCW plays like...and so on and so forth(just using this as an example). There's nothing really fun to get out of the mod because once you've played one company, you've basically played them all beyond the names you have at the start. I understand you're not a creative person but I feel like there's something golden here. I always loved this scenario and want to see it brought into the modern age, however I want to see it done with the care and love it deserves. Things like lore are important like @The Lloyd said too where using organic bios isn't really going to work. Like what happened to the revived Horsemen in RFP? Why are the Colons all singles stars and not teaming in Florida? The finer details matter. Also unrelated, but the Von Erich's not being in WCCW is weird to me, even if the family doesn't own it anymore, it's still their grand-dad's old company. I'm sure the fans in Texas would want them there, even if they were undercarders. Just how Lacey was there in previous versions of iDom. Also I know that this was in the previous iteration, but what's the lore to Benoit not being in the wrestling industry anymore yet still alive? Did "the event" still happen except he didn't do it to himself and he's now in prison? Like I know the obvious BTS reason of not wanting to use him.
  15. I'm genuinely excited to see 2026 finally come to fruition sooner rather than later. Definitely will be getting fun out of this once it drops.
  16. Cool cool, yeah, I figured some of the things I was noticing were intentional but I just wanted to make sure.. I haven't played IDOM 2015 in a fair bit so those bits will go over my head. Also was just about to add this before you replied, but Private Party is also separated with Isiah being in ESW and Marq Quen in Project X. Also Alex Wright(who trained a few wrestlers, notable Adrian Severe/Fabian Aichner/Giovanni Vinci) and Charlie Dempsey/Bailey Regal and are completely missing from the data. The latter could be excusable with the timeline changes but the former I would say less so.
  17. If I notice any other wacky team situations or anything else weird, I will let you know. Edit: Just standard contract weirdness, but Zach Gibson is in Chikara without James Drake also JD Drake is in UEW without Anthony Henry I also saw that the Street Profits were separated but I wasn't sure if that was intentional or not. Similarly the Hardys are seperated but again, given Jeff...being well Jeff, maybe his problems weren't as easily rectified and that's why he's in CZP Also, last time the iDom-verse was checked in on, Sami Zayn was still El Generico, I'm assuming lore wise something happened when he was in CS where like OTL he was told to lose the mask? Also another lore related question, why is Matt Bloom, who was mainly an ECW guy in this timeline as Baldo the Destroyer, working as a road agent in TWE? You figure he would've stayed in ECW unless TWE got to him in the intervening years like his Tensai run Also too, Misterioso Jr. is in the data twice
  18. Nvm it was originally as I thought, some guys have contractual issues unless there's lore reasons why certain teams are just not together. Ross Von Erich is in NWA:AA and Marshall is in AWA but yet it says they still team together Dezmond Xavier is in WCW but it still says him and Wentz team together as the Rascalz Creed/Kasper Brothers are also separated too for some reason Edit to my full edit: Yeah, this is the problem with using organic bios. You really shouldn't have teams active if you know you're not going to actually team them up at the start because it puts that info in the bio.
  19. I think she's a slightly bit more on the nose fusion of Trish and Mickie James. It's the backstory of improving beyond sex appeal and becoming a solid worker combined with a Native heritage and the name Alexis
  20. Due to the updates and the additions of more fighting game characters, I decided to try another Arcfight game. One of the more interesting things with Arcfight compared to say like the DC/Marvel company is I actually feel more comfortable "mixing the melting pot" as it were and taking characters from multiple franchises and having them work together.
  21. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8UEbLAcktU&feature=youtu.be A deeper cut, but based on recent events/this interview. Ram Kaichow should be activated as being active for both the US (as she made her US debut this month) and the UK (as she expresses that something may be happening soon there in the above linked interview)
  22. Very nice, glad to get an update! I've had this nagging question in my mind, but I've tried to look up some of the names in SICK before and they come up with nothing. They're not listed as OCs like all of the original characters are. So I'm just super curious what the source material is.
  23. Is there specific companies you're looking for event names for? Or are you just looking in general?
