  1. For someone who always tries to start a women's division in this mod, those additions will be greatly appreciated!!! Also they could do to start the original SHIMMER roster. I also want to take the opportunity to thank you for this mod, it is the one I play the most and I always have lots of fun playing it.
  2. Thanks for the reply, I get your idea now about the company struggling with having a "major draw" and it makes sense, but as you say balancing the undercard popularity and securing some of the guys that you can build (like Killshot or Rush for example) would be good to allow the player the feel of the initial roster without having to resort to multiple outside hires that alter the core roster. Now talking about Mexico ILLA seem great maybe I'd recommend signing some "big" names that would feel right at home at this promotion like LA Park, Dragon Rojo (he had a cartoon with CN a few years back so it would be cool to see if in this universe this led to him being a bigger star), Negro Casa, Sam Adonis, Dr. Wagner Jr. or maybe even unretire Marco Corleone and make him being the top guy with his telenovela background. FMLL as the "traditional lucha" option looks good however I don't know if Blue Demon and Vampiro are a good choice as the owner and booker (especially the latter) as they have done more "american" style things in their careers... Maybe Demon could still work for them but I would suggest adding Chavo Lutteroth III (Current owner of CMLL) or, if you want to shake things up, maybe Sofía Alonso, Chavo Lutteroth's niece who was in charge of CMLL for a while before being removed a couple of years ago. Sofia could be a good fit for LLF too if you want to play the Lutteroth family drama in this universe ad well (maybe Chavo III kicked Sofia out of FMLL) For AULL maybe Vampiro would be a better choice for owner/booker? seeing how it plays to the hardcore style. A luchador like Pagano or maybe Ludark Shaitan would thrive here (also you could maybe play with this promotion allowing intergender matches) ELL seem very low on budget for the roster they have, also Rey sr. doesn't seem like a good fit for the more "entertainment" style I would recommend Dorian Roldán or maybe Marisela Peña (widow of the founder of AAA) as owners here as they play to that kind of more sports entertainment product. Also a wrestler like Blue Panther who is known as a more "classic technical guy" would maybe feel more at home at a promotion like FMLL.. If you want a luchador to be in charge maybe look at Ultimo Guerrero who is unemployed here and has been known as a more of a political player in lucha universe... maybe he got tired of being mistreated by Konnan and started his own promotion? LLF feels right, it has a good mix of talent. Maybe add some american wrestlers that have been involved with lucha companies? As Mexico loves to book the classic USA vs Mexico matches? Some good choices could be Lady Frost, Alex Gracia, Ivelisse or maybe some Japanese workers like Mei Suruga or Tsukasa. Also Princesa Sugehit needs to be hired to this or some promotion as she's one of the top referents in women's lucha libre. Oh also maybe add the Chilean wrestlers that have been having some success on CMLL like Stephanie Vaquer and Catalina García (La Catalina) This are all suggestions, hope they help a little.
  3. I started a game with Project X, loved the roster and the whole backstory, however all of the roster seem really behind on pop as their major guys like Cena and Hardy are only "well known" and most of their roster are unimportant. Also within the first few days I lost most of my guys to rival promotions so maybe that's something to check. I really think most of these changes have been positive and add to the universe! Hope to see this going on
  4. iDom was my favorite mod for ewr and tew05 for many years. Very excited for this! Although I loved the whole "alliance" concept of the universe, I can understand your reasons for breaking away from this system. If you ever want to revisit Mexico, I'd be more than glad to help you flesh out that region.
  5. Hey guys what prompts are you using to get the results in the "render" style? I've tried some but I still get vastly different results in my creations using Bing
  6. Can someone cut these pictures for me in jpg? Please? 7. Great news! Would you be open to create more titles for a request you previously did?
  8. Thank for the likes and thanks to @DHK1989 for posting predictions. As promised here are the top 15 matches of the year in WCW. You can still predict before Starrcade is posted! TOP 15 MATCHES IN WCW 2001 15. Scott Hall def. Shawn Stasiak w/ Stacy Keibler in 10:12 @WCW Nitro, October Wk.1 2001 As soon as Hall returned to WCW he was “greeted” by Buff Bagwell and his mates, who made sure the former outsider had a rough comeback. In this great match at Nitro, Stasiak pushed the veteran to his limits in an action packed bout that ended when Hall hit a crucifix powerbomb on Stasiak. 14. Vader, Jesse James and Buff Bagwell def. Booker T, Scott Hall and Diamond Dallas Page in 13:50 @WCW Nitro, August Wk.4 2001 In the final step before the Uncensored PPV six men clashed at Nitro in a brawl that spilled all over the arena. In the end, Vader got the win over DDP after a grueling Vader Bomb. 13. Rob Van Dam def. Jesse James in 14:32 to retain the WCW United States championship @WCW Nitro, July Wk. 2, 2001 Jesse James challenged RVD for the US title before the Great American Bash and came really close to winning it! A really intense fight showcased that the “degenerate” was a real threat to every champion on the company but, in the end, the champ managed to retain after an incredible 5 star frog splash. 12. Vader def. Booker T in 15:12 to retain the World Heavyweight Championship @WCW Mayhem, November Wk. 4, 2001 It still hurts to watch this one. Booker finally got his one on one rematch with Vader for the title and he came motivated after a 6 match winning streak… but that was not enough to stop the mastodon who defeated the former champ after three consecutive Vader Bombs. 11. Ken Shamrock def. Rob Van Dam in 16:15 to win the WCW United States Championship @WCW Halloween Havoc, October Wk.4, 2001 The clash of styles between Shamrock and RVD produced some of the most interesting fights on WCW programming but this match at Halloween Havoc gets extra points for the drama it had. The former champ fought valiantly and came really close to getting a pinfall, he even managed to escape from the MMA fighter’s prized Ankle Lock submission three times! But in the end, RVD would pass out to a Triangle Choke in the center of the ring, and the ref had to give Shamrock the win. 10. Andrew Test Martin def. Diamond Dallas Page in 10:45 @WCW Nitro November Wk. 3, 2001 ATM’s first match in WCW programming was with none other than DDP, after weeks of hyping himself and interrupting Page, they both had bad blood when entering the ring and also, it seems that the newcomer wanted to prove himself as he unleashed everything he had in order to take home a big win… which he did after a Big Boot out of nowhere. 9. Booker T def. Scott Hall in 14:52 @WCW Nitro November Wk. 2, 2001 Since Hall returned he found an ally in Booker T and they have teamed on several occasions to put a stop to the madness that sometimes goes on in WCW; however, these allies would eventually find themselves facing each other as they both had dreams of capturing the World Heavyweight Championship. This match saw both athletes give their best, in an amazing contest that ended after a Book End, giving the 4 time former champ a shot at the title. 8. Diamond Dallas Page def. Jesse James in 13:12 @WCW The Great American Bash, July Wk. 4, 2001 DDP and “the degenerate” had one of the most heated feuds of the summer and their match at the GAB proved these two actually hated each other. The bout was packed with action and moves that they don’t normally do as they tried to surprise each other. In the end DDP managed to hit a Diamond Cutter in mid air as James was diving off the top rope to get the win. 7. Vader def. Diamond Dallas Page in 13:44 @WCW Nitro, October Wk. 4, 2001 As a warm up for the Halloween Havoc Chamber of Horrors the six competitors were paired in 3 different matches to happen at the previous Nitro… and unfortunately DDP got the worst of it as he had to face Vader. It was a valiant effort by the people’s champion, trying to surprise Vader at every moment… but at the end the champ retained after a second rope splash. 6. Scott Hall def. Jesse James in 12:10 @WCW Nitro, September Wk.1, 2001 Did we mention Jesse James has been a thorn on the side of almost every other wrestler in WCW this year? Because as you can see, he has clashed with everybody. In this particular match at Nitro he challenged “the lone wolf” to prove which of the factions they used to be a part of was the best. Hall ended up winning it after an Outsider’s Edge but it was a really fun match. 5. Eddie Guerrero w/ Alexis Laree def. Booker T in 15:23 @WCW Nitro, December Wk.4, 2001 Two of the best athletes in wrestling faced off earlier this week in a match that really caught the attention of the crowd. Dives to the outside, stiff kicks and great mat wrestling was delivered by these two competitors trying to reach Starrcade with a win on their backs… in the end, thanks to a distraction by the vixen Laree, Eddie scored the pinfall with a roll up. 4. Vader def. Booker T, Mike Awesome, Buff Bagwell, Diamond Dallas Page and Scott Hall to retain the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in 23:46 @WCW Halloween Havoc, October Wk.4, 2001 The Chamber of Horrors is surely one of the most, if not the most, devious matches ever imagined. A giant steel chamber full of weapons that pitches six wrestlers against each other and where there can only be one winner. This match was brutal, we saw chairs, kendo sticks, tables and even barbed wire bats while everybody tried to eliminate Vader… but probably the most dangerous weapon was the champ himself. Getting three eliminations he pinned Scott Hall last, after a chokeslam onto a table. A notable moment happened when Hall, Booker and DDP managed to connect a triple powerbomb on to the champion. 3. Scott Hall def. Shane McMahon and Jesse James in 16:15 @WCW Mayhem, November Wk.4, 2001 A No DQ Triple Threat at the Mayhem PPV was the perfect scenario for a thrilling match filled with memorable spots. James had been harassing Shane O Mac for weeks and they had battled at HH, as they looked to settle the score Hall inadvertently got into their rivalry and the match was made. Of course Shane jumped of a high platform to hit an elbow to James but it was Hall who got the win after he immediately hit Shane with an Outsider’s Edge for the win. 2. Booker T and Rob Van Dam def. Ken Shamrock and Eddie Guerrero in 15:20 @WCW Nitro, November Wk.4, 2001 An exciting match took place at Nitro where the pace of the action never decreased and it was this impromptu tag match that was made when Booker came to the aid of RVD who was receiving a beatdown from “latino heat” and Shamrock, who joined just for fun. When the bell rang these four men proved why they’re considered amongst the best of all the world with some unbelievable maneuvers performed including an amazing rolling kick -scissor kick combo by the face team. In the end, Booker managed to pin Eddie after a Book End. 1. Vader and Jesse James def. Booker T and Scott Hall in 14:20 @WCW Nitro, December, Wk.2, 2001 This is a MOTY candidate and it features four of the standards of the Shane McMahon era in WCW. Happening just a few weeks ago, this match still happened when Booker and Hall were debating on who should challenge for the Heavyweight championship. This was a hard hitting match, where the face team managed to superplex Vader, leading us all to believe they would take the win… however they never agreed on who should cover him and that ended up costing them the match. UP NEXT: The top promising talents to watch for in 2002... 10 from WCW and 5 from the new territory, IMPACT Wrestling. And Coming soon: STARRCADE XIX. You can still give your predictions!
  9. Note: Hey! I'm not really good at committing to long term projects on TEW so I'm not sure if this is going to be a "diary" but I'm several months into my 2001 WCW save with the amazing "Here comes the money" mod and I really wanted to at least share some of what it has been and, specially, the Starrcade card I'm putting together. If after that I still update this, it will surely be an achievement for me lol, but still will be mostly a summary of the monthly Nitros and a PPV... anyways, hope you do enjoy what I have ready so far, and of course feel free to predict! A YEAR IN REVIEW: WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING'S FINDS NEW LIFE No one can deny it’s been a wild year for World Championship Wrestling, going from the brink of bankruptcy and the danger of closing its doors for good in the early months of the year to being bought by none other than Shane McMahon in one of the biggest stories of 2001. Returning with new TV and PPV deals and, more importantly, some really fun stories and pretty great matches too, fans all around the country are once again excited to have a real alternative to the WWF product. Now we are just one day away from the company’s biggest show “Starrcade XIX '' and here is a quick preview of the card. Also coming soon a top 15 of the best WCW matches of the year, and a top 10 on the ones to watch from their new developmental territory IMPACT wrestling, opened a few months ago. Enjoy this review while we all get ready for "the granddaddy of 'em all". STARRCADE XIX FULL CARD THE AMERICAN DREAM 20 MEN BATTLE ROYAL WINNER RECEIVES A US TITLE SHOT AT SIN Johnny The Bull vs. Curt Hennig vs. Juventud Guerrera vs. Road Warrior Animal vs. Road Warrior Hawk vs. Shawn Stasiak vs. Mark Jindrak vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. David Flair vs. Amazing Red vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Devon Storm vs. Elix Skipper vs. Kid Romeo vs. Shannon Moore vs. Evan Karagias vs. AJ Styles vs. Air Paris vs. Chris Harris vs. James Storm Commissioner Bischoff had his hands full as every WCW wrestler was asking for a spot in the XIX Starrcade event so, he came with this idea: The American Dream battle royal inspired by the WCW legend Dusty Rhodes. Twenty men will face in an over the top match where the winner will not only receive the glory of a win in the granddaddy of ‘em all but a United States championship match at the SIN PPV next month. TRIOS MATCH Team Canada (Mike Awesome, Lance Storm and Steve Corino) w/ Angel Williams vs. Shane McMahon and The Natural Born Thrillers (Chuck Palumbo and Sean O’Haire) Team Canada has been a thorn in the side of WCW President Shane McMahon since the return of the promotion and now they blame him for Awesome’s TV title loss. On the other hand, The Natural Born Thrillers are furious about Storm and Corino costing them a tag team title shot so now they joined forces with the boss to take the team from up north. If Team Canada wins, Shane must offer them whatever title match they choose in the next month. WCW TV WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLE THREAT MATCH “The American Nightmare” Dustin Rhodes © vs. Mortis vs. LA Par-K Coming back with a new attitude “the american nightmare” Dustin Rhodes has found success in WCW, even winning the TV title from Mike Awesome on November; however, lately he has been haunted by the presence of Mortis, the violent and dark persona of the wrestler known as Kanyon, who even interrupted the title match with LA Par-k laying down both wrestlers. Rhodes has vowed to put a stop to Mortis while the mexican king of skulls is trying to prove he is to be taken seriously in WCW. SINGLES MATCH Joanie Laurer vs. Buff Bagwell w/ Stacy Keibler Since her debut in WCW Joanie Laurer has proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the WCW landscape… and that hasn’t been taken well by some of the wrestlers. Like Buff Bagwell and his Buff Band. Bagwell, Jindrak, Stasiak and their manager Stacy Keibler have constantly teased and bullied Laurer saying she has no place inside a wrestling ring and Bagwell is set to prove that in Starrcade. WCW WORLD CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP SIX MAN LADDER MATCH Shane Helms © vs. Kid Kash vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Mr. Aguila WCW is the home of the best cruiserweights in the world. That is something that has been known for a while now. And who better to represent this division than the champ who is nearing 270 days as champion: “Sugar” Shane Helms. Throughout the year Helms has faced off many of the top cruiserweights on the company such as Billy Kidman, Juventud Guerrera, Jamie Knoble, Tajiri, Jerry Lynn, Mr. Aguila and emerged victorious but, in November, he encountered his biggest challenge in his old friend Rey Mysterio Jr. who returned after spending some time in Mexico trying to get the Comisión de Box y Lucha to grant him the rights to wear his mask again. Rey and Helms put on an amazing match that was interrupted by the ruthless Kid Kash and, since then, the champ has been unable to pin the masked luchador. And now, for Starrcade he faces his biggest challenge yet as he is not only defending against Rey but he has four other challengers trying to take the belt from him in a ladder match made by Commissioner Bischoff. Can the reign of Helms continue? STEEL CAGE SINGLES MATCH “The Degenerate” Jesse James vs. Booker T w/ Paisley It is undeniable that for some time Booker T has been the face of WCW, even holding the two top belts at once earlier this year. But since he lost the heavyweight championship to Vader, failing to reconquer it, he has been doubting himself a lot. Enter “the degenerate” Jesse James. Since the return of the company Jesse has caused mayhem everywhere and he saw a perfect chance in Booker’s situation to take a shot at the company as he has publicly said he wants to destroy the ace of WCW and everything he represented. This feud has escalated and they will settle it inside a steel cage. Can the ace of WCW recover his momentum? or will the degenerate prove to be too much for him? WCW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP EXTREME RULES TRIPLE TORNADO TAG Violence Club (Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman) w/ Francine © vs. Modern Ninja Warriors (Billy Kidman and D’Lo Brown) w/ Torrie Wilson vs. KroniK (Bryan Clark and Brian Adams) The former ECW rivals Dreamer and Sandman put their differences behind to carve a path of destruction on the tag division. Winning the titles on July from the Natural Born Thrillers they have even managed to defeat legendary teams like The Road Warriors. Now they face the newly formed duo of the Modern Ninja Warriors with their high speed approach and the returning KroniK in an extreme rules match where everything is legal and falls count anywhere. With a match type that plays to their advantage, can the champion retain the gold? Will the experienced Kronik get another run at the top of the division? Or will the exciting MNW pull a win in this match? SINGLES MATCH THE WINNER GETS THE MANAGER SERVICES OF ALEXIS LAREE Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero w/ Alexis Laree Another red hot feud started when the valet of the returning Eddie Guerrero, the seductress Alexis Laree put her eyes on the former US champion RVD. Laree got obsessed with “the whole f’n show” and her fixation on him even played a part on RVD failing to regain his title. Of course, “latino heat” didn’t take well to his lady flirting with someone else and blamed RVD for making a move on her. Finally they will battle it out and the winner will get the managerial services of Laree, something that seems to really excite her. WCW UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLE THREAT MATCH Ken Shamrock © vs. Diamond Dallas Page vs. ATM (Andrew Test Martin) Ken Shamrock debuted with a bang and quickly captured the US championship, ending RVD’s great run with the belt. The MMA fighter has welcomed any good fight but lately he’s gotten in the middle of the rivalry between DDP and ATM. Self proclaimed as the “hottest free agent in wrestling” Andrew Test Martin debuted in WCW and went straight for the biggest names in the company, clashing with Diamond Dallas Page in a battle of egos and, eventually, their paths crossed with Shamrock who seemed thrilled to face such talented opponents and challenged them both for Starrcade. Can the “money machine” ATM capture the prestigious title? Will DDP get the title run he’s been looking for so long? Or will the experienced Shamrock prevail and cement his legacy? MAIN EVENT: WCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES MATCH Vader © vs. Scott Hall Scott Hall has a dream. He wants the Big Gold. The former “outsider” has won many prizes on the company but never the top one, and it’s something that has been slowly consuming him. Leaving WCW for a while he has now returned to achieve the dream and to take place at the top of the mountain, however… he faces probably the biggest obstacle to any man: VADER. The man who dethroned Booker T, since August Vader has left a trail of destruction on the company surviving the very best challengers Shane and Eric had to offer and even the grueling match types he was in like the chamber of horrors at Halloween Havoc. Vader has been an unstoppable force and it doesn’t look like that will end anytime soon. These two titans will clash at Starrcade for the biggest prize in pro wrestling: the world heavyweight championship. Can "the bad guy" overcome the odds? Or will the mastodon remain at the top of the mountain? What match are you more excited to see? What match will steal the show? Leave us your predictions!
  10. Amazing set @willr0ck!!! Thank you so much. And yes, God of War champion is a much better idea, I think I'll be using that. 😁
  11. Wow! TBH I never envisioned the logo like this but I love it! The axes give it a really cool look. Awesome job as always.
  12. That's awesome! It's a great name, it's how I always imagined naming my wrestling promotion if I ever owned one... but it can only happen in TEW 🤣hopefully we'll soon have a new version of the logo to have some great games!
  13. Thanks for this! I loved Over9000verse on previous TEW's so I'll def check it out!
  14. Hey @willr0ckIdk if I qualify to get a request (if not that's ok) but I think there is one more spot open? If so I'd like to request a logo for a promotion called: Wrestling Arts Revolution (WAR) Also the WAR Grand Champion WAR X Champion WAR Tag Team Champion And a trophy that looks more like a medallion called Spoils of WAR Thanks a lot for all of your work!
  15. I'm getting a lot of fun on a new Cverse save with IPW so if it's possible I'd like to request the following: IPW Xtreme Championship IPW Trios Championship IPW Women's tag (you can get creative with the name if you'd like) Thanks in advance!
  16. Wow that was a great start! Pretty excited on reading what's next!
  17. I'm looking for a more colorful Erin Scott... maybe more vibrant tones on her bandana or gear? And if possible a smile if anyone could do it i'd be grateful
  18. I'm really looking forward to this mod! 2001 is also one of my favorite years in wrestling and I feel 2020 needs a good mod to represent this era!
  19. Could I get a gif pic of Cyon also known as the NWA's mystery masked man?
  20. I just realized it is basically Harmony Nolen's face but it still looks good. No offense to the new renders though, some are amazing! I just personally liked this better for the character Can't wait for the update!
  21. Wow this looks REALLY good... I think it finally captures her star quality.. I'm replacing the original with this
  22. I know it's far from good but I started a game with CLLM and I was really put off by Abismo being just a different color alt from Acuatico... so I took the original Payaso Feliz render and did this if anyone needs it... also if someone could make a good one it'd be great
  23. I just want to say this mod is REALLY good and it has revived my interest on the CVerse. I created a character named "Summer DeColt" the daughter of Alex, a very green rookie but with the charisma and mic skills of a DeColt. I'm trying to bring CGC back to it's former glory and it has been a blast so far. Renamed Ian Identity to Ian DeColt, a distant cousin from the og brothers and he has quickly risen up the card. Started a woman's division with Tammy McFly, KAtherine Goodlooks, Fuyuko higa and Lily & Rose that has been doing pretty good. Also formed a team called "Heaven to hell" with Diablo Duvak and White Angel (Franki Dee) and gave the tag titles to the Nest of Vipers (Mimic and Dagger). I plan to push Joey Poison to World Champ... he's now feuding with Gargantuan. Whippy The Clown, after being almost injured by DaLay transformed into "The Whip" a Sting-kind of character and finally got a decisive victory against Dan on WrestleFestival... now DaLay will feud with Zeus Maxmillion (who I also want to push). Summer unfortunately got injured on February but I'm using her as a manager for the time being for Diablo and Angel.
