2.
This new money update seems really promising. I can't wait to see what it would be like doing a (throwback) B2G game in a setting like this and have to get over that beginning bump in the road that's inevitably going to come. I'm curious if the market is terrible and you're starting a lower level promotion, can you find yourself in an almost impossible situation where you're consistently losing money no matter what you try?

    Either way, I'm stoked.

  3. I imagine that that will happen. If you fail to develop a star that has star potential and they end up going somewhere else -- they could very well become stars. The AI is doing a very good job of identifying stars and that will naturally include talent that they bring in that doesn't work for them.

How often would you imagine the opposite is true? That the AI misses developing a star and you get the chance to? Or do you think once the AI gets it's grips on them, it's pretty much a solid bet?

  4. Adam has said that the broadcasters in 2020 have been overhauled to make internet distribution a much more viable option. I think people forget that when TEW2016 was released a lot of these internet streams were not nearly as viable as they are now.

I can't wait to see what the new internet platform is like, and how it will impact the game and the financials. I hope it's a lot like real life now, but I wonder how exactly payment would work, if it would act like another TV show option by itself or if there's a whole new area for that?

Either way, I'm pretty stoked. As for the OP's question, I'll be starting with the new and improved C-Verse! :D

  5. With so much talks of tweaking the AI on a global scale I’m wondering if we could get the first type of “difficulty” settings in the series. I think it would be awesome if you could dictate how well/fast the AI builds new stars or even if the booker skill played any part in it.

There really doesn’t seem to be many differences between bookers from what I’ve seen. The hiring practices change but there’s no way to tell the game that Paul Heyman is great at helping younger workers develop when he’s at the helm. This also bleeds into choosing who you put in power for your child companies and the like.

I’m just worried that such macro adjustments could hinder variation or diminish the effects of having someone specifically good at these things. I think about recent ROH which was putrid at developing talent, but once they leave they just explode (like a Keith Lee)

I agree, I kinda thought it was a pleasant surprise in the recent update today when Adam talked about how the AI was able to build a modern day Goldberg with an undefeated streak and everything. It'll be awesome to see if the same could be applied to us, like for example if we're bad at building a certain worker and we release him, only to have another company pick him up and he explodes. Not just other AI's being like ROH's wonderful developmental team, but actually seeing AI's do better jobs than even us at certain things? We could be sitting back and watching our ex superstar explode while kicking ourselves... LOL.
