  1. I hope it does become a Network special, so long as they don't change half of it like they did with Roadblock.
  2. I'm not much of an artist but I would be down for promotion and bio design for things in my wheelhouse. I'd also suggest that relationships be overhauled... things like MDC2 will be hard to play with Batman hating the Joker meaning neither will work with the other now, etc!

Let me put it this way: If you made me choose between watching a minute of either Ryder or Riley, or an hour long iron man match between Raja Lion and Giant Gonzales? Sign me up for the iron man.</p>
  4. with Riley gone, now we just need Mojo and Ryder to be released to rid the WWE of people who are worse than Eva Marie.

  8. I might give it a chance if not for the fact that NCSoft axed City of Heroes for it. So I honestly hope it becomes a failure so bad it bankrupts the company.
  9. One thing (that I didn't get to at the point I was watching it when I recommended it) to note re Valmet and adult situations, is that there's a point in Perfect Order which, well, I'll put in white text for spoilers. There's a moment where Koko gets drunk and Valmet goes to help her get ready for bed. The problem is Koko is so drunk at this point she's basically unresponsive, and Valmet's suggestive dialogue, while probably just comical fantasizing, can be implied as Valmet taking advantage of Koko. The possible interpretation is probably not what the writers meant as Valmet and Koko's personal relationship (if there is one, it's never made clear) is mostly played for laughs: Valmet professes to get a nosebleed at praise from Koko in the early episodes, for example. Also, I couldn't agree less with your review of Attack on Titan. I absolutely despise it and see it as a horrible horror subgenre mash-up that ends up bringing out the worst cliches of the subgenres it takes from. It's got a decent art style and even then if I were grading it, I'd give it an F. The story is just too full of obvious holes and pretty much every single character is an unlikable moron. ESPECIALLY the protagonist (seriously, who thinks JUDO is going to be of any use against a 50 foot giant?). I don't even like the action scenes that much, and I don't understand how they can be considered innovative. I mean, I guess in just anime it is, but unless you've never heard of Spider-Man before I don't see how the movement system is new. I just really don't see the appeal, because to me the whole thing just comes off as something that was created like Axe Cop was, but without any charm or humor in it.
  10. Something I recommend for review would be Jormungand. Child soldier who hates weapons finds himself working as a bodyguard for an arms dealer named Koko, who straddles the line between Affably Evil and Faux-Affably Evil. Bullets, blood, and explosions a plenty occur. Definitely one for fans of Black Lagoon. The characters are more down to earth and the supporting cast tends to fade into the background (a bit like GITS: SAC where half of the unit are little more than named extras in the first season). The antagonists are occasionally memorable (Orchestra being a huge example) and Koko's brother and his head bodyguard also shine in their appearances but some of the characters seem to be just there. The protagonists who do get a share of the spotlight are for the most part well written. Jonah, the child soldier, takes his job seriously and seems to take a liking to Koko. Koko is a Balalaika-esque strategist and charismatic leader who seems to have a heart and is trying desperately not to become a total villain. Her right hand, Lehm, is a grizzled veteran and master sniper who becomes a mentor figure to other characters. And her left hand, Valmet, is a one-woman spec ops team who happens to have a yandere-like obsession with Koko. There is a bit of fanservice and comedy (mostly involving Valmet and either her yandere-ness or her massive chest) which sometimes takes away from the action (Example: During a serious combat situation, Koko complements Valmet, and Valmet mentions getting a nosebleed). There's also a point in the second seaon that, while probably intended as comical, can be interpreted as offscreen date rape, so watch out for that. Either way it's a pretty good series. I'm only 4 episodes in to the second season so I don't know if the series ends in a satisfying way. Season one manages to save what would have otherwise been a non-ending finale with a foreshadowing of season two. Oh, and don't skip the 'previously on' moments, because they segue right into the actual start of the episode almost seamlessly. So don't just fast forward to the (pretty neat) intro sequences.
