  3. <p>So its 1996 and I'm starting to book the nWo. Currently it consists of Hogan, Hall and Nash.</p><p> </p><p> I want to make the NWO large enough that it can split into two decently sized factions in two years or so. Who would be the best additions?</p><p> </p><p> I'm looking for a 8-10 person sized group.</p>
  4. <p>I recently started a WCW 1995 game. I've made it to 1996 and the nWo just formed at the Great American Bash.</p><p> </p><p> Thankfully Hogan returned in time to form the group. He had been suspended for gang beating Nick Patrick with Jimmy Hart and Brutus. All three got suspended. This is Hogan's second strike with his first strike being a refusal to drop the world title at starrcade to Ric Flair and basically ruining my show. One more strike and either Savage or Hart will be taking the reigns of the nWo.</p><p> </p><p> This is my WCW. That isn't going to fly.</p>

Looking at these updates makes me want to try to finally get past a couple of years in a long term game.<p> </p><p> How'd you get Flair to stay up on your list for so long?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Flair is actually really good in my game and he's degrading really slowly. Plus as I mentioned, other main eventers aren't really pulling their weight that well so Naich stands out.</p><p> </p><p> I'm actually surprised I've been playing it for so long, mostly because everything I try to do ends up failing really badly.</p><p> </p><p> Examples:</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Invasion:</strong> Decide to do a slow build where Austin still wins the Royal Rumble to face The Rock. Jericho sells himself out to WCW to get the Radicalz to reform and help him win the World title at Wrestlemania X7. I decide I'll start it as an internal thing and build it up when I can buy WCW. </p><p> </p><p> WCW doesn't sell. It's actually still in business in 2007. Have to VERY SLOWLY sign away WCW talent which makes the Jericho storyline less of an Invasion and more "Jericho is a jerk with goons" story. Jericho then kills the angle dead by going on a Fozzy tour, making me vacate the title and cancelling the story.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>ECW:</strong> Well ECW is a terrible idea just being a third WWE brand. But what if I only signed ECW originals and indie stars to it?</p><p> </p><p> The show is stuck as a B show. Anyone who gets over won't be booked by the auto booker. The people who ARE over can't get the show good enough ratings to not tank the WWE's popularity. ECW gets cancelled and replaced with a women's brand.</p>

Triple H and Undertaker have been extremely mediocre main eventers in my game as Triple H seems to have a popularity cap of around 88, he can still have decent matches though, he's just not a big star like some others around. Undertaker is basically the same situation but he can't have a good match unless its against very skilled workers like Regal, or the Great Khali in my save. 10. <p>I have a question to the user base here. Is it odd to evolve wrestlers to their iconic gimmicks/ look before it happened in real life?</p><p> </p><p> The reason I ask is because in my now 2006 game I feel as though the current crop of stars (Orton. Batista. Triple H. HBK. Angle) are all kind of floundering in their roles of carrying the company or even their brand. As the majority of them have a popularity cap in the high 80s, put on consistently mediocre matches or in HBKs case have already entered time decline.</p><p> </p><p> Would it then be weird to change MMA Shinsuke into Swagsuke, Nicky into Dolph Ziggler. Goober Reality star Miz into the A lister just go get some actual life into the main event or is that too unrealistic ?</p>

  12. October 2005 with a 2001 start. I got rid of the ECW brand I set up when they failed to ever move to A show status. People would basically just outgrow the brand and then stopped being booked. If I changed the show to an A show they'd then tank my ratings. I finally just decided all I was doing by keeping ECW around was punishing CM Punk and Shinsuke Nakamura by having them never appear on shows due to being too good and had Raw and Smackdown absorb ECW's roster. However. I still wanted a third brand. There were stars not getting a fair shake because of a lack of screen time and opportunities that wouldn't be solved by me running only Raw and Smackdown, sitting and eating cheetos the rest of the week. What was my solution you ask?!?! Well actually I doubt you're asking. Probably skimming and hoping I actually say something interesting. Well junior, what I did is create WWE Heat! No, Stevie Richards is not the GM. I used the Heat name because I wanted a cool name and picture. It's a full on third brand with an A show. What's on it you ask? Women's Wrestling! The WWE Women's Championship has been elevated to a main event title! I know what you're thinking "But Captain2! You already made a third brand called heat based on women's wrestling and you cancelled it!" Firstly. I'm honestly surprised anyone pays attention to my updates. I am touched and slightly in love with you, reader. Secondly. It has been two in game years since I did that and somehow I've done a better job of getting the women's roster over than I did getting ECW over. So... yeah. I have Lita, Molly Holly, Trish Stratus, Daffney, Katie Lea and Mickie James all qualifying as "draws" in terms of popularity. ECW only had Punk, Shinsuke and Raven. That's what my roster looks like at the moment. I have the WWE Women's championship as the main event title. It's currently being held by Lita. Then I have the WWE Diva's Championship held by Katie Lea Burchill. It's the midcard title. IN ADDITION! Once I've called up my current crop of developmental ladies I intend on creating a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Eric Young will not be allowed to hold it. Initial results are promising. The shows are getting high 70's - low 80's in terms of scores.
  13. <p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>WWE 2001-2005 game</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 2001:</strong></p><p> <img alt="KdLVTRe.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KdLVTRe.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>2002:</strong></p><p> <img alt="s4SVrqH.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/s4SVrqH.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>2003:</strong></p><p> <img alt="tcoKzLm.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tcoKzLm.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>2004:</strong></p><p> <img alt="ngeX5gC.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ngeX5gC.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>2005:</strong></p><p> <img alt="ZRp49sw.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZRp49sw.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p>
  14. So.... the early women's revolution seems to be off to a great start. I've managed to get several of my stars up to be "Draws". Trish is in the 90's for popularity. Lita, Molly and Daffney are in the 80's.

  16. <p>One thing that I'm incredibly happy about. I got my first highly rated Women's match. The Women's division push is finally paying off as at Armageddon 2004, Trish Stratus © Vs Beth Phoenix Vs Lita finally earned me a 95 match rating.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Woooo!</p>
  17. <p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>Alright well I have a WWE 2001-2004 game going so far. Coming up on Survivor Series 2004.</p><p> </p><p> If I were to present all the goals I've set for myself they'd look like this:</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Have a successful Invasion angle:</strong> <strong>X</strong> (Failed because I based it around Chris Jericho turning on the WWF and joining WCW as their chosen one. I wanted Jericho to be firmly in place as a heel at Wrestlemania 17, expecting WCW to implode shortly afterwards. WCW somehow survived and kept most of their talent so my Invasion was on life support with only a few WCW guys and mostly ECW guys. Jericho then went to tour with Fozzy and I kind of just killed the angle)</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Build Jericho into my figurehead after Austin and The Rock leave: -</strong> (Jericho is one of my biggest stars, possibly even my biggest star as he seems to sit at 100 popularity at all times. However every year he leaves for three to four months to go tour with Fozzy and that has killed most of my big angles for him, The Invasion, World Title feud with Triple H and Evolution, Feud with Edge. These have all been cut short so Jericho can go wailing on with his band. Surely they are my ENEMMMMMMMY)</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Make the WWE Women's division on par with the men's:</strong><strong> - </strong>(Mixed success so far. Trish Stratus is in the 90s for popularity. Daffney and Lita are in the 80's. Mickie James and Victoria are in the 70's. Somehow through putting my Women's developmental company on the WWE network I also have Tracy Brooks and Jackie Gayda in the 60s for popularity through no action of my own. So its definitely an improvement but they still have a ways to go)</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Make the ECW brand an Indie all stars show:</strong> <strong>X</strong> (ECW has been pretty terrible. as a B show it doesn't book the main event talent I supply it with and as an A show it just angers the fans and drags down WWE's popularity. I'm on the verge of sinking it entirely)</p><p> </p><p><strong> Give William Regal a Championship run</strong>: <span class="ipsEmoji">✔️</span> (He's won the Heavyweight Championship on Smackdown. His run isn't going as well as I'd like but something about Smackdown just seems to lack the punch of Raw)</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Build John Cena up into the next big star</strong>: <span class="ipsEmoji">✔️</span> ( He's come a long way in just a year. From winning the US to getting it taken from him by Regal's stable, The Roundtable. He seems poised to main event Wrestlemania XXI against Regal)</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Build up Edge into a credible main eventer: - </strong>(He's had an amazing feud with Chris Jericho, but with Jericho gone he needs to prove himself. I've positioned him to defend his WWE Championship against Bill Goldberg and I'd like to see him come out of it with some real heat)</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Goals that are not started but I intend to work on:</strong></p><p> </p><p> - Build up The Miz into a legitimate top star (Miz is in NXT training)</p><p> - High profile Styles vs HBK match at WrestleMania (Need to build up AJ more first. He's currently in a tag team with Christian on Smackdown)</p><p> -Make Cody Rhodes a star on Smackdown (Cody has not debuted in my game yet)</p><p> -Give Shinsuke Nakamura a long run with the IC title. Maybe beat Honky-tonk man's record. (Shinsuke is holding down ECW as one of its only stars, ECW does not have the IC title)</p></div><p></p><p></p>

HBK has been at odds with Evolution but I eventually had Triple H get deposed by Orton and reform DX with Shawn. Will be interested to see what happens to HBK, working with Evolution perhaps.</p><p> </p><p> Also hows your Women's division?</p>
  19. WWE 2004. I'm on the road to Wrestlemania XX! So far I have the following planned. WWE Heavyweight championship match: Brock Lesnar Vs Bill Goldberg © Goldberg has been on a tear and has held the World title since Summerslam 2003. Brock Lesnar won the Royal Rumble and looks set to clash with the dominant champion in an epic battle of beast vs beast. Fatal Four Way Ladder match for the WWE World Championship: Triple H Vs Chris Jericho © Vs Shawn Michaels Vs Randy Orton 2003 was marked by two things, Evolution absolutely dominating Raw and those who fought to topple their regime. Shawn Michaels and Triple H spent until Summerslam trading blows with each other until Flair, Orton and Batista forced him to refocus his efforts on working his way through the stable from the bottom up to ensure a fair shot at The Game. Even costing Orton his Intercontinental title to weaken the group's morale. Jericho found himself in a similar situation as he fought Triple H tooth and nail. Finally winning the World title from Hunter, but falling victim to a terrible attack by Batista that put him out of action for three months. Jericho returned at Royal Rumble and walked out with his title restored. Triple H seems determined to regain his stranglehold on his Kingdom and consented to allow Randy Orton into the match on the condition that he help take care of Jericho and Michaels. The Game hopes for a 2 on 1 on 1 match, but Orton's intentions may be opportunistic. Triple Threat Match for the WWE Women's Championship: Trish Stratus Vs Victoria © Vs Daffney The Women's championship has reached new heights with increased popularity. With Trish and Daffney both in the 80's for popularity they seem set to steal the show on the grandest stage of them all. Victoria has however been a dominant champion, defending against all comers and winning the fans over with her strength and skill. The Undertaker Vs Kane Since losing his mask, Kane has released his inner monster. His rage has been like an out of control blaze that can not be stopped. Even a brand split could not prevent Kane from going to Smackdown and ensuring that his brother found himself buried alive and lit ablaze. However with the death of the Biker it seems that a spirit of vengeance has risen. *card subject to change*
  20. <p>WWE 2003 game: I have a three way brand split, Raw, Smackdown and ECW (Which I managed to buy. WCW still exists in my game though)</p><p> </p><p> Raw and Smackdown are more or less being run sort of historically as drafts occur that move people between the brands. I've been trying to build up the women's and tag divisions on both brands which has resulted in things like Daffney and Trish with 80 popularity on Raw and Haas and Benjamin pulling in pretty impressive match ratings on Smackdown.</p><p> </p><p> ECW however I've decided to take a different route from historically and while I've been building up ECW originals, RVD, Rhyno and Raven were all feuding over the ECW world title at one point I've decided to take a page from NXT and make ECW into a sort of smark heaven. AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Shinsuke Nakamura, Austin Aries and others are all making their mark and slowly rising up the card via ECW.</p><p> </p><p> Also the title divide for the brands...</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#FF0000;">Raw:</span></p><p> WWE World Champion: Triple H</p><p> WWE Intercontinental Champion: Randy Orton</p><p> WWE Women's Champion: Victoria</p><p> WWE World Tag Team Champions: The Dudley Boyz</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#0000FF;">Smackdown</span></p><p> WWE Heavyweight Champion: Bill Goldberg</p><p> WWE United States Champion: Matt Hardy</p><p> WWE Diva's Champion: Molly Holly</p><p> Tag Team Champions: Benjamin and Haas</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#A0522D;">ECW</span></p><p> ECW World Champion: Raven</p><p> WWE Light Heavyweight Champion: AJ Styles</p>

Triple H himself hasn't even wound up on the Franchise players list.</p><p> </p><p> Also. I've decided to use WWE's version of ECW as a kind of indy showcase.
