I have Jack Bruce in pretty severe time decline now (still 99 over everywhere, most popular wrestler in the US, buggered if I can get anyone up to his level) and I tend to just have him in matches that last about 10 to 12 minutes. </p><p> </p><p> Can he go 20 minutes in a 4 v 4 elimination and workaround his limitations in general by putting him in tag matches?</p>
  2. <p>Really sorry if this is well covered ground. </p><p> </p><p> I believe WAMMA5 has a pretty cool feature that tells me main even fights that aren't rematches etc (have I made that up? Maybe he was generally in matches that were 10 to 15 minutes.</p>
  4. Hi guys, one from me. I'm looking at strapping a rocket to Ross Henry. (The year is 2022, nearly 23 and he's a 6 year pro.) His selling is 60. Any ways I can boost that stat? And to mitigate it, do I just look to put him against opponents with as high a selling stat as possible.
  5. Supreme Challenge 42 went down last night in front of 98k fans in attendance. Much larger than the previous highest crowd of 84k. Swoop McCarthy took the title for the first time beating Wolf Hawkins. Tommy Cornell beat Sean McFly in a Once in a Lifetime match. Nicky Champion beat Champagne Lover in a Loser Leaves Town match. I sacked Lover the next day. Obese and in time decline he was bringing the whole place down. Finally got him to agree to turn heel as well, it could have been fun but no.
  6. I would suggest that rather than make a counterpoint you've merely pointed out a statistical outlier.
  7. Just checking back in here for the first time in a while and wanted to add to the people talking about auto-booker. Reading that really rocked my world a little. Should be able to book the opener, the main and co-main and then auto-booker can take some of the weekly TV show strain.
  8. I don't think he is saying that no. He's saying that 1 bonus of 10k is better than 10 1k bonuses.
  9. <p>Takes long enough to play a year in this game. </p><p> </p><p> I'm quite content with the 28 day month.</p>

  13. <p>Well I just found out about this and was amazed to see that between Supreme Challenge 4 and about SC 30, it seems they never switched the title at that event. Which seems cray-cray to me. Imagine that in the WWF. </p><p> </p><p> Thanks for laying it out all nicely dude.</p>
  14. Well it's Jan 2022 so that's 6 years completed in game. SWF are going from strength to strength. The Cornell vs Hawkins feud dominated the second half of the year with Hawkins taking the strap at Christmas Clash. Those two finished 5th and 4th in the Power 500, the highest placement one of my guys has ever had. Mushashibo has won Wrestler of the Year 5 out of 6 times now which is getting a bit tedious. I had my best awards year ever though, Promotion, Match, Event, Young and Veteran wrestler, Manager and Commentator. Xmas Clash was my highest ever rated PPV. (Why didn't I get on Reverie sooner?) Mainstream Hernandez is in his second run with the North American belt. The NBTs (Next Big Things) Callum Nelson and Casey Valentine are the tag champs. Weirdly I've got one of the Bumfholes teaming with Jefferson Stardust because their tag partners went to USPW. Only thing I can't work out is how a TV six man tag with a cheap finish won me Match of the Year? I was busting my ass off trying to get PPV A* main events all year.
  15. Yes, you're right, I did rush the Tommy Cornell vs Jack Bruce storyline but I wanted to have them face each other at my second biggest event and other feuds had to wrap up first. Lot of moving parts here guys, give me a break. Yes, I know you don't want to see another 15 minute Champagne Lover match and he can't go anymore but he has another 2 years on his deal and he is still the most known wrestler in the world. What do you imagine the word about you on the forums is?
  16. <p>It's all about one match really.</p><p> </p><p> The main event of Supreme Challenge 41.</p><p> </p><p> Wolf Hawkins © vs Tommy Cornell.</p><p> </p><p> Teacher vs pupil. It writes itself. Cornell is the face and won the rumble. Hawkins turned on his mentor. </p><p> </p><p> Hoping for an A* match.</p><p> </p><p> Another fun one on that card will be Ross Henry vs Des Davids. These two have been a team for years. 3 times champs. And Davids turned on Henry.</p>

I struggle to get past 3 months. If I do it longer than that, the prestige drops.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> The last full year I completed (2020) saw my 4 belts change hands a total of 6 times.</p><p> </p><p> Already had 5 in 2021 and Supreme Challenge 41 is going to see 3 more, so a bumper year....</p>

I guess I set-up the venue ages ago and then never used it.</p>
  19. <p>So I am a little confused. </p><p> </p><p> 5 years into an SWF save and I am doing an A show at my own arena in the South East and all my interview segments get huge negatives for language barrier. </p><p> </p><p> Did the primary language in this area change? Did I set that venue up wrong and somehow have never used it before even though I've had it for years? Is it a bug? </p><p> </p><p> I've been to Mexico a bunch of times and never seen that message once.</p>
  20. <p>You changed every single title in the course of a month?</p><p> </p><p> Have you tried calling Vince and seeing if he has a spot for you?</p>
  21. I've had a nice mid-card TV title since the end of my first year. The graphic for that is in the game. Emma Chase is good if you can bear to lose her from commentary. Christian Faith is good as a face.
  22. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Markw" data-cite="Markw" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41303" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Spade/Bruce should definitely go on last. You've sometimes got to ignore what's best for the in game rating.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You're right, I just needed to be told. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> One B+ PPV won't kill me...</p>
  23. <p>So I'm always a world title goes on last kinda guy ok, just a traditionalist I guess. </p><p> </p><p> But I've got a situation where I want to put champ Spencer Spade over a fading Jack Bruce (it's late 2020), the match likely won't be up to much and I may even do a cheap finish to stretch the feud out. </p><p> </p><p> Then I've got Bret Starr and Wolf Hawkins ready to continue a red hot feud with a rematch from Supreme Challenge 40. It's a guaranteed A match, and could touch A*. It's not the rubber and no stipulation currently booked. </p><p> </p><p> Can I bring myself to take the hit on the show rating and put the title fight on last?</p>
