I don't upload any renders to AI if that's what you mean. except my own renders.

Why is it so hard to understand?

I think the confusion is coming from the earlier on where you said that people would recognise the art style of some renders as 'the mod uses renders from creators by the TEW community, but all renders are set by an AI and edited by me.' Couple that with 'The moment these images come out of the AI, they were no longer created by the original creators.' and it suggests that you are feeding the renders into an AI and then having it produce 'new' images as a result. Is that the case?

But as I said before, I have permission from the creators to use their render for my mod project. and everyne was perfectly fine with it.
i can show you these permissions if you want.

So i dont know what the problem is here.

Just to clarify, did you get permission to run their renders through the AI, or just permission to use their renders in the mod?

  3. There is always going to be some randomness to the ratings. Otherwise great workers would always hit their max, possible rating

I agree, but RNG shouldn't come arbitrarily due to angle length. I tested this by running three angles on a show 16 times, all with the same worker and the same conditions, except the length. Six min angles had an average of 99.6 with only two of the 16 angles not scoring a 100. But for five mins the average dropped to 83.3, and for four mins it dropped again to 82.7.

The 6 min angles were far closer to their cap than the five and four min angles were, where 6 mins would reliably hit max besides a couple of occasions the other two lengths were a bit of a crapshoot, some angles would rate 78 and some would hit 87. Should be noted that at no point from the 32 angles between the five and four min tests did any of them hit their max of 88.

Obviously this is only from a test of 16 shows, but it seems like there's a pattern of shorter angles underperforming far more often than six min angles do.

  4. I'm really confused by the way my angles are being graded tbh so I thought I'd ask around here. In the Handbook it says that angles below six mins are capped at 88, whilst angles below four mins are capped at 75, that's all fine and good, but why is there also a penalty applied to the rating? This isn't product-related because my product has nothing about angle lengths, there just seems to be a weird segment length penalty applied to angles ON TOP of there being a cap.

I've noticed this because I have workers who will easily pull 95 rated promos when allowed to go six mins, so you'd expect them to likely hit 88 for a five min promo, yet they end up pulling something like an 80-83. This often happens DESPITE bonuses for momentum, hot catchphrase, great improv, etc.

  5. Goodness is nobody playing 21CW at the moment? It's been a while!

I'm a year and a bit (literally just ran World War 14) into my save with them and I'm wondering if anyone ever shakes up their schedule somewhat? I'm really disliking the Steel Cage Challenge and I'm considering scrapping it entirely in favour of allowing a seven week build from Crisis Point to the World War finale.

Another thing is that the company has an abundance of team-related PPVs, with Dangerous Alliances, Cornell Cup and Partners in Crime all in that mould. I'm thinking of rebranding the Cornell Cup since it seems weird for there to still be a PPV named after the Cornells now that Tommy is no longer in (kayfabe) control of the company.

  6. I primarily book SE so I tend to focus heavily on storylines when it comes to booking my TV:

    Storylines.png

The first part of each of these storyline titles is an abbreviation for what the story is building to. 'HHS' in this example is my PPV Halloween Horror Show, all the storylines with the HHS tag involve a match happening at the PPV. The 'TV' tag is for storylines that don't have a particular match, but are mostly smaller little stories for my undercarders.

All of the storylines are also ranked in importance, denoted by the numbers assigned to them.

So when I come to book my show I simply work my way down the list, continuing each storyline until I have booked my entire show. This method actually makes it so I can run two 2-hour A Shows and never really run out of things to book.

  7. If you had read my next post you'd see that I also said it's not realistic. This isn't how the real world works in wrestling. There is no real world equivalent to what the game's current system is.

You're just dunking on the contract system for no reason here tbh. There is 'no real world equivalent' because this stuff just doesn't happen IRL, even though it 100% could. If someone signs a binding written iron-clad contract to work a time period and WWE decides to sign them to a deal - no matter how exclusive - that doesn't change the fact that the dude already has a contract. The reason it doesn't happen is because very few promotions irl are able to hand out long term concrete contracts, and WWE would never entertain the prospect of signing someone who will still be working for another company long-term.

It absolutley makes sense and is within the realms of possibility, and it's a perfectly fine part of the gameplay in terms of its pros and cons. Do you sign someone to an exclusive to make sure they don't renew their other deal or make new deals? What if they get injured working for their other company? Etc.

  8. Could I request a logo for a brand/TV show?

The show is 21CW Young Blood. I'm running this show/brand as a proving grounds of sorts for my emerging workers, with 16 'future stars' pitted into a round-robin league competition. The winner receives a call-up to Best of British Wrestling and a title shot.

Feel free to take creative liberties all you want but I know some people like having at least a basic idea to go on so I'll offer my idea on the style. I'm thinking something sleek/modern, dark-red text for the show's title outlined in white perhaps.

    Thank you in advance!

  9. Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I figured you could use them as a placeholder at the very least.

Oh my goodness those are fantastic! I love the inclusion of the lion and how you've worked it into the colour-scheme, all of the individual layers are still really distinct and the pale face/red eyes is a really striking image. Thank you very much, lovely work!!

  10. <p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">Could I trouble someone for a custom broadcaster logo? I'm looking to set up a network for 21CW. I'm thinking something along the lines of 21CW WrestlePass, probably with the red, white, and blue colour scheme. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

Now then, let's talk about what happened in July. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">July</span></strong></span></p></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>USPW's Independene Day Slam</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> pulled in an 86 rating, beating out the rather disappointing </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>SWF Supreme Challenge 40</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> which only earned an 81 - Remo defeating Valiant, Brandon James and Scythe in a bizarre SWF Championship fatal fourway. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>TCW's Summer Showdown</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> was somehow only 80 rated despite two there being two 89 matches on the card. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Speaking of TCW, they've now jumped up in size </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><em>again</em></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">, meaning they are Large. They've signed up Ernest Youngman and Akima Brave to written contracts, and I'm expecting a few more names to follow as they expand their roster. Surprisingly, Joel Bryant is leaving them. Weird. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Up north, </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>CWA</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> have returned to their bumbling selves: </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>Ultimate Showdown</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> slumped to a 72 rated event, marring Sean McFly's first (and probably only) CWA World Championship win in a 75 match. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> In some HUGE news, </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>Tommy Cornell</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> has abandoned his home once more to sign a contract with USPW! This is pretty wonderful news for us because it's always nice to see 21CW suffer. There was also the hilarious incident of Tommy cracking his tailbone the show after his move was announced, as he put over National School of Wrestling graduate Kevin Marquardt. Besides Tommy leaving, it's been another good month for 21CW, as </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>London Calling</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> pulled an 88 thanks to Jonathan Faust's title retention against Edward Cornell. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> The last bit of business to go through is the fact that we've made some more signings. None of them are particularly important/exciting, but we're heading into the </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="color:#F4A460;"><strong>SUMMER SIZZLER</strong></span></span></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> tour, and I want the tour to be something of a showcase for a large variety of talent. Those signings are </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>The Northern Lights (Riddick Jordan & Alton Vicious), Thomas Morgan, Walter Morgan, Christopher Lister, Gulliver and Toxic.</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Some are ready now, some are beginning to wind down their careers, some are only getting started. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> With all the news taken care of, let's go through the first TWO cards for the </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="color:#F4A460;"><strong>SUMMER SIZZLER</strong></span></span></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> tour! </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#F4A460;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Summer Sizzler Tour - Day One</strong></span></span></span></p></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49149" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>The Pride Say Hello:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Donny Henderson and Merle O'Curle are far too important for this show, so The Pride are represented tonight by Martin Heath, Jon Michael Sharp and Warren Newton. Of course the last time we saw these three men they were attacking referees and aiding in some very unspotsmanlike conduct, so I figure the crowd wouldn't be too happy to see them. They basically spend a few minutes insulting the crowd for booing, accusing those watching live of not knowing what good wrestling is, etc. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#9932CC;"><strong>42</strong></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>The Pride (Heath, Sharp & Newton) vs. Lynton Minehead, Jermaine Granger & Myles Cross:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Poor, unfortunate souls. This is a pretty straight-forward match for The Pride, who as well as being more individually talented are far more in-sync when working together than their opponents. Sharp pins Minehead with a Flying Crossbody, because that's an appropriate finisher. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong><span style="color:#9932CC;">31</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>Welsh Dragon vs. Bryn Archer:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Welsh Dragon makes an impressive debut against Bryn Archer. Though Dragon is only 22 years of age, he is no Young Lion and shows a level of experience and composure that Bryn simply doesn't have. The Welsh hero picks up a pinfall victory with the Dragon Kick, which sounds like a neat move, wish I knew what it is. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong><span style="color:#9932CC;">26</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>Jonni Leyland, Nigel Svensson, Grant Taypen and Leighton Buzzard vs. Andriy Boronin, Govan Monty, Pinfall Peters and Gordon Leve:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Another tag match thrown together to get a few guys a win and give the crowd the satisfaction of seeing some of our bigger names, Leyland and company dominate most of the match and Svensson earns the victory by forcing Gordon Leve to tap out with the Hyper Extension Arm Lock. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong><span style="color:#9932CC;">38</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>Barry Griffin vs. Vernon George:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Barry's here! Yay! This was a quick match and nothing special at all, just a bout to show off Barry as he prepares for his last run as a professional wrestler. The Powerbomb Deathlock (the coolest move ever) is enough to put poor Vernon away. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong><span style="color:#9932CC;">19.</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>MAIN EVENT - Curtis Jenkins vs. Gavin Owen:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> I haven't given CJ a great deal of love in this save so far, so here's just a reminder that he is indeed one of our major stars. Gavin Owen is a solid talent and the two have a pretty back-and-forth match, but Jenkins eventually nails the Fisherman Suplex to pick up the victory and send the crowd home happy. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong><span style="color:#9932CC;">42.</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>OVERALL RATING: </strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong><span style="color:#9932CC;">39</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p></div></blockquote><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#F4A460;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Summer Sizzler Tour - Day Two</strong></span></span></span></p></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49149" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>Glen Ward vs. Govan Monty:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> I imagine this being a pretty nice clash of styles, with Glen an excellent technician and Monty an all-or-nothing brawler. Ward of course beats the Young Lion with his Judo Choke Sleeper. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong><span style="color:#9932CC;">28.</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>The Pride (Don Henderson, Martin Heath, Jon Michael Sharp & Warren Newton) vs. Vernon George, Pascual Taylor, Pinfall Peters & Gordon Leve:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Don Henderson has deigned to join us with his presence, he and his Pride stable-mates toying with their opposition before he forces Taylor to submit to the Scottish Deathlock. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="color:#9932CC;"><strong>34</strong></span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>JK Lee & Padraig O'Hearne vs. Jermaine Granger & Myles Cross:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Some back-and-forth tag team action, Lee and O'Hearne are still very much one of the top teams in the company, striding to victory as Lee taps Granger out to the Crossface. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong><span style="color:#9932CC;">35</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>Barry Griffin vs. Jonni Leyland:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> A much bigger test for the aging Griffin, as you'd expect Leyland pushes him far further than Vernone George was able to on Day One of the tour. These are two veterans in the ring and they display it with superb counter-wrestling, before Griffin finally catches Leyland out with his Powerbomb Deathlock to get the win. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong><span style="color:#9932CC;">32.</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>MAIN EVENT - Walter Mogan vs. Christopher Lister:</strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Two of our new debuts, and two guys who are instantly good enough to headline a show. Like I said earlier, I want this tour to be all about showcasing talent! Lister and Morgan are two technical specialists, and for 20 minutes they captivated the CWW fans with slick counters and grapples. Finally, the Northern Crossface is locked in and the man born and raised in Wigan, Walter Morgan, picks up a win in his first ever CWW match. </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong><span style="color:#9932CC;">40.</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong>OVERALL RATING: </strong></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><strong><span style="color:#9932CC;">40</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p></div></blockquote><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> Next time we'll be... continuing with the </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="font-size:24px;"><span style="color:#F4A460;"><strong>SUMMER SIZZLER</strong></span></span></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> tour! </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> </span></p>
  12. Hello lovelies.

Would anyone be willing to whip up a stable logo for me? It's a group from an SWF game called The Supreme, led by Mainstream Hernandez and pretty much consisting of a bunch of disgruntled mid-carders who feel like they're being held down. I don't have too many specific ideas of what I'd want it to look like to be honest so if you're interested, feel free to take it any direction you want. Thanks in advance!!

  13. Is there a way to overcome pop caps?

I'm trying to push spencer spade to the moon but he's capped at 73!

He's considered a star, has white hot momentum, he's won an annual tournament I setup but still 73. I really want to give him the world title but if he's going to stay at 73 is there any point??

I'd honestly say just bring this up in either Suggestions or Tech Support and hoep it gets resolved. There seems to be a lot of issues with pop caps.

  14. Hey lovelies. I'm only a day late!

    June

June was quite eventful. Of course, we held CWW Throwdown which rated in at our second best event in our history. It also saw the formation of The Pride, our first stable! As Donny Henderson's little promo probably tipped you off, they're going to be a slightly villainous group brimming with arrogance - but they're very much talented enough to bring it in the ring without resorting to cheating.

Anyway, how'd the rest of the world get on? Well, SWF's Times of Trouble only managed a 79 rating. Remo and Rocky Golden put on a decent 81 rated main event, but the company is struggling immensely when it comes to putting on anything above an average promo rating. 21CW War Drums was an excellent show, meanwhile. Jonathan Faust successfully defended his 21CW World Championship (which he won on an episode of Best of British Wrestling) against Adam Matravers for a 96 main event. Edward Cornell defeated his brother YET AGAIN for a 99. The 91 show rating is perhaps a little disappointing.

TCW scored an 84 with Excessive Force, thanks mostly to the 84 rated main event where Aaron Andrews vanquished Mighty Mo to continue his run as TCW Champion. North of the border, FINALLY, the Canadian Wrestling Allinace have put on a good show! For once! In The Company Of Legends pulled an 87, with Aaron Knight defeating Ricky DeColt in an 85 main event. No, I do not understand why the CWA World Championship wasn't defended, but at least the show was good.

In other news, Vic Walker has knocked up Joy! Pretty inconvenient from our booking perspecitve but oh well. It's more than she'd make in two years with us but money is so trivial in this game that I'm gonna gave her a 1k bonus. She's leaving on maternity leave in three months.

Our altruism will also extend to a lad by the name of Govan Monty, a rather impressive young worker who fell victim to yet another scumbag move from Mark Carnie - he hasn't been paid, he's quit SNP, we've all heard this song and dance. I'm becoming VERY tempted to declare war on those bastards up north tbh. Andriy Boronin meanwhile has been in the news about how desperate he is to wrestle after months of unemployment, I've talked him into working in the UK and signed him to a deal. I figure since we cover travel and since he's so desperate it makes sense that he'd be willing to head to the UK.

And finally, Barry Griffin has announced that he's going to be retiring in three months. Barry for those unaware is an English worker who was a star for the old Men of Steel Combat promotion, then stuck two fingers up at Nova and headed to Japan for the rest of his career. He's back home now, and I think it's only fitting that we give him a small farewell tour before he rides off into the sunset.

And then the final topic for today's update is the Of The Year So Far Awards! Who's doing the best so far? Let's find out!

    • Wrestler of the Year So Far is El Leon, he is the current Campeonato del Mundo EILL, has an average match rating of 90!
    • Company of the Year So Far is EILL.
    • Tag Team of the Year So Far is EILL’s El Leon and Rock God Alvarez. They are not a tag team.
    • Match of the Year So Far is Tommy Cornell & Wade Orson defeating Adam Matravers & Luke Cool from an episode of Best of British Wrestling. 99 rated.
    • Show of the Year So Far belongs to TCW, with Total Mayhem 24 being a 93 rated event.
    • Young Wrestler of the Year So Far is Robby Griffin, the 23 year old Canadian who works for CWA and is one half of the Tag Team Champions. His average match rating is 76.
    • Veteran Wrestler of the Year So Far is Kevin Jones, the 44 year old has an average match rating of 84 for 21CW.
    • Brooke Tyler is Female Wrestler of the Year, performing exceptionally for the CWA with an 83 average rating for her matches.
    • Independent Wrestler of the Year is BISON Yano, who has a 68 average rating whilst wrestling mostly for PGHW.

    We didn't feature, unfortunately. :/

And that's everything for this update, next time we're heading into July and the SUMMER SIZZLER tour.

  15. Hey all, for today's update we're gonna do a slightly more in-depth show recap and then there'll be a second part coming either tomorrow or Tuesday where I'll recap news and etc. Let's get into CWW Throwdown!

In a pre-show bout, the team of Jonni Leyland, Leighton Buzzard, Grant Taypen, Gavin Owen and Glen Ward go over the young lion assortment of Gordon Leve, Gazz Vedmore, Jermain Granger, Myles Cross and Mickey Robson. No real surprise here, just wanted to get as many people on the card as possible. It pulls a 33 rating, which is nice.

We then move on to our opening match. 'The Shooter' Nigel Svensson makes his debut with a rather tough task, as he goes up against Curtis Jenkins. Though CJ hasn't been on fire so far, he's certainly still one of our top guys and he manages to pick up the victory in a 43 rated match. Despite the defeat, this is a pretty impressive debut for Svensson, and his Shooter gimmick has received a 'Great' rating, which is always a positive. Expect to see a lot more of him.

Next up, Vic Walker makes a rather successful start to life in CWW as he defeats the young lion Lynton Minehead, pulling a 29 rating. This was also Joy's debut, and she did some good work at ringside which is an encouraging sign.

Third official match of the card is also the first championship bout of the evening, as Neil Warburton defends his CWW Submission Championship against Don Henderson. The pair put on a technical clinic, both men avoiding the other's signature hold multiple times, locked in a battle where the loser will be whoever makes the first mistake. That man is Neil Warburton, as a momentary lapse in concentration results in him being locked up in the Scottish Deathlock. He resists for a few seconds, but finally... taps out. We have a NEW CWW Submission Champion! The match pulls a 43 rating.

Our second title match of the evening is for the CWW Tag Team Championships, as Martin Heath & Jon Michael Sharp defend against Padraig O'Hearne & JK Lee. The contest is back and forth with both teams pushing the other, but in the end the champions are just too good and continue their momentum as Heath pins JK Lee. This is the best match yet, rating in at 48.

And, finally, we arrive at our main event. The impressive Merle O'Curle stormed his way to victory in the King of the North tournament, in fact, he won that tournament by pinning his opponent tonight, the defending CWW Champion Lenny Mochin. Intent on setting the record straight, the champ is aggressive from the off and takes an early advantage, but O'Curle always seems to find a way to stay in there. The 20-minute mark comes and goes, and yet the two seem stuck in a stalemate - until something special happens. A truly breathtaking sequence of chain-wrestling takes place, and O'Curle is able to eventually leverage Mochin onto his back. He gets to work straight away, taking the champ's leg and twisting it into position - he locks in the Celtic Wreath! An agonising variation on the Indian Deathlock, Mochin writhes in pain and tries desperately to escape, but his options quickly begin to run out: there's only one option left.

Lenny Mochin taps out. We have a new CWW Champion.

The bell rings, but... Merle O'Curle won't let go. CWW's head official Allan Round tries to pry O'Curle away, but he only continues to apply the pressure on Mochin's tortured leg. Road agents head down to the ring, along with a few other roster members: Martin Heath, Jon Michael Sharp, Warren Newton and Don Henderson.

It looks like they're about to finally remove O'Curle, but then... the wrestlers begin to attack the road agents! There's an especially violent bit of heat from the crowd as British Samurai, one of the agents who had rushed out to help, is hit with a stiff elbow to the jaw from Henderson. After only a few moments, the referees and agents are dumped from the ring - finally, O'Curle releases the hold on Mochin, grabbing his title from ringside and standing alongside the other wrestlers. Don Henderson gets a mic.

    'You're witnessing history right here.'

Henderson names each man in the ring. There's Warren Newton, one of the brightest young lions in the company and a future champion. There's Martin Heath and Jon Michael Sharp, Britain's BEST tag team. There's the Irish Stretching Machine, the NEW CWW Champion, Merle O'Curle. And of course, there's him, the CWW Submission Champion, the Terror of the Highlands, Don Henderson.

He explains that the men standing in the ring right now are the absolute BEST Championship Wrestling from Wigan has to offer. And that's the way things are going to stay. The show ends with some ominous final words from Henderson:

'This is a new, better era in British wrestling. This is the era of The Pride. You'll thank us one day.'
