<p>Finally got around to working on this. I'm still a little bit off starting fully, but it's just flavour stuff at this point for a diary/blog. Let me know if I'm missing anything; I'm using a mix of i_effin_rule's <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=533960" rel="external nofollow">Effganic 1920</a> mod as a base, the locations from the Default CVerse and sockpuppet's <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=534600" rel="external nofollow">Manly Mod</a> for extra gimmicks/injuries/locations, so I had to do a little bit of a workaround.</p><p> </p><p>

So with the exception of what's specifically mentioned in the OP, are there any further restrictions on player character? Things like active in particular regions, or size, or the like?

That's what I figured would be the option. Either I missed a step or two in the "installing a mod" process, or it just isn't designed to function like that. Luckily it's still feasible to use the new player method, but it does cripple 4gb of backups.
Oh well.

<p>I'm trying to convert this mod from a Watcher game to an actual playing game, now that the universe is sufficiently advanced to my liking, but I can't seem to start a new game after transferring the database. There are pages upon pages of companies that have staff without being active, workers having multiple conflicting contracts and so on.</p><p> </p><p>
Is there an easy fix that I'm just missing, or do I have to manually edit each of these errors before I can play?</p><p> </p><p>
Somewhat related: I get a runtime error when looking at The Watcher's data in the editor. Is it because he's over 110 years old?</p>

<p>Well, I think I've been hard done by. I got fired 2 days after my first show, which I'm reasonably sure was due to one of the owner goals being "Don't be under $0 at any point". My new champion broke her wrist, the announcer got into an argument with someone and developed a hatred, and one of the undercard showed up drunk annoying everyone else.</p><p> </p><p>
On the bright side, reading the email that says I got fired cause a game crash, so now I have to start over anyway.</p>
