  1. Oh yes, absolutely second this. I had PGHW Dojo spamming my roster with an endless stream of scrappy high flyers which does not make sense at all.
  2. When do workers return from excursion In my game Shozo Furuta and Shinji Mihara's excursion to Europe has recently ended (according to the Assistant screen's countdown) but they continue to work for VWA. The Assistant message has changed to "...currently on excursion and due to return as soon as any remaining contracts have been completed". With both of them having ongoing agreements with VWA, I wonder if I will ever get my Young Lions back Have any of you experienced this yet? Do ongoing agreements get cancelled after a short grace period or something? I don't want to wait for the odd random worker leaving, tbh EDIT Found the following statement in the 1.18 Patch Release notes: "Made excursion workers more proactive about quitting existing contracts to return home once their time is up" Can't do anything but wait for them to quit their ongoing deals on their own then. (Mihara and Furuta both already announced their departure from VWA roughly 3 weeks after the excursion countdown had ended in my save, so that's not too bad)
  3. Thanks alot! I dug up the original Dev Journal post about momentum which actually states that the short-term momentum is hidden.
  4. Is there an "official" description of the momentum system in the Player's Handbook somewhere? I haven't found anything. (Really missing a search function in there...) Alternatively, has an overview of the possible momentum stages been posted somewhere with the correct ordering from cold to hot?
  5. Maybe not show it in the match results screen but when opening worker skills section? There should be more than enough space available to have small green and red arrows pointing up or down to depict skill progression over the last couple of months or something.

Just login again once when you come across the not logged in message. Seems that the forum software stores login information per URL which differentiates between "with www" and "without www".</p>

  8. Question for the TEWbooru admins: is it possible to increase the amount of images displayed by default? It currently is 24 pictures per page which leaves a lot of empty space on a contemporary display resolution. The software actually is an open source project, btw.
  9. I personally would love to see the slider control to manipulate the amount brought back. Having to go in and type a number (especially when you have to go back multiple time fiddling to find the accepted amount) is very uncomfortable in a screen where all other options can be controlled by clicking and rolling the scroll wheel. To be clear, I think the option to edit the numbers by typing should stay and adding separators at the 1K and 1000K marks is a good suggestion in any case.
  10. Great idea! Works reasonably well for uploading images considering the obvious "early 2000s internet" charm of the software Let's hope that many artists and followers join in so that we can fill this quickly and start leveraging the greatness of collaborative tagging.
  11. I frequently drop out of the broadcaster selection screen in PM mode without selecting any broadcasters due to double-clicking on the broadcaster name not causing selection. Sure, there's a confirmation dialog box but since Windows 95 nobody reads those ever. Double-clicking on item works in other screens (e.g. loading savegames) so this should not be a technical issue. I would also be happy if it was possible to re-enter broadcaster selection afterwards, especially when no broadcaster has been selected. But ultimately I could live with the fact that I'm just too stupid if nobody else feels the same way

Not sure if it's by design but the company name actually means "german wrestling burned", the "german" with a grammatical error and "burned" including a typo. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> "Deutscher Wrestling Verband" would be the correct spelling <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  13. Kenka is actually quite a popular term in Japanese wrestling - if I remember correctly it's the equivalent of "brawling". Masahiro Chono's Yakuza Kick finisher is officially called a kenka kick in Japan because they would not dare say Yakuza out loud. Or so the story goes <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  14. Hey all, with TEW2020 around and some direct messages over the last couple of weeks regarding my contributed graphics, I decided to free my old work from Photobucket and sort of re-release everything. The collection currently consists of 260+ renders/alts, 99+ logos/alts, 30 banners, and 14 championship belt pictures. Feel free to use and redistribute all of it according to the terms of the specified Creative Commons license (CC-BY-SA-NC 4.0) which basically says: use as you like, extend, modify but give credit, share under the same conditions but don't sell it unless asking dedicated permission. All my graphics can be downloaded HERE. Enjoy! --- Previews:
  15. <p>Would be a nice immersive touch.</p><p> </p><p> I thought about this recently and with a little more effort it could be expanded towards actively influencing proteges much like currently happens as a random incident between non-player characters: i.e. the option in PM mode to pass on tips on X [psych, face performance etc] to one of the player's proteges.</p><p> </p><p> This would require some checks & balances of course, for example only being able to on 2 proteges in total and to only try to positively interact with them every once in X months, possibility to backfire depending on characters etc. Could be a fun addition though.</p>
  16. Just realised you run an active Dynasty around here. Count me in, I already subscribed. Pleased to see some Sarumara love for old times sake <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  17. dbritton, you just found a bug Already posted it in the tech support forum: http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2423432
  18. Hey all, I just messed up booking of a PGHW Elite Series tournament show by re-booking one of the matches that had already been held before. This gave me an idea though: How about expanding the tournament overview to become a booking assistant when in show booking mode? All matches expected to be part of the tournament could be listed (and organized into "days" for round robin) together with an icon indicating whether or not the match had already happened. Furthermore, matches that have not yet been held could offer a shortcut adding this pairing to the card immediately, saving a couple of clicks for the user. I've put together a mockup of this idea (pairings and the result matrix are not accurate and I didn't put a scrollbar in since Days 5 & 6 should obviously be there too):
  19. I've tested airing shows on the OnDem subscription network but do not receive any revenue from the deal even though it's a 60% split in my favour. I was getting close to 40.000 viewers playing as PGHW but not a dime was transferred into the company account. Is this expected behaviour for Internet subscription type broadcasters?
  20. I'm currently running the Series as a mixture of lesser and normal intent events either broadcast on Japanese Sports Vision 2 or Internet PPV (which I wanted to test out in this save). With lesser intent shows drawing at about 20.000 people, I tend to book smaller venues to keep things somewhat realistic. Four shows into the tournament, fatigue is not an issue.
  21. Great suggestion(s) here. Having a configurable selection of Road Agent notes at the top of the list would immensely speed up the booking process in my opinion. Combined with a way to set winners (and losers) without even entering the RA notes screen, this would by quite literally a game changer for me (and possibly other who like to advance fast and despise too much clicking around). Teemu's idea about pre-set match+notes templates is also great but I'd expect that to be much more effort from a programmer's point of view.
  22. In TEW16, auto-selected regions would rotate among those where a company was reasonably popular based on last visits. Playing as PGHW which have basically the same popularity across Japan, Kansai has been auto-selected for every single show. I thus have to go in each time an chance the region manually. This should be reverted to the way it worked in '16 in my opinion.
  23. Very good suggestion, thank you! I would go for "lesser" events instead of normal events during the tour though - maybe except for the Ultra High Importance level tours. Because usually the bigger shows in the middle of a tour draw significantly less than tour ending events.
  24. Is a multiple-stat progression chart hidden somewhere? Haven't found it yet and having to click on each stat to view the progress would cause me massive effort given that monitoring worker progress is basically my favourite aspect of the TEW series <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  25. <p>The patch definitely is a game changer, can't wait to start all over again with BCG now <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Before, I focused on Kinki, Chubu and Kanto and thus lost most of the starting popularity in all the other regions. I want to go down a differen route this time, much like Narcizo, actually touring all the regions to keep the starting-pop and slowly build towards Cult level over a couple of years. With loyalty back in place this should be perfect to create a few new and loyal stars and get ready for the inevitable war with GCG at Cult level...</p>
