  1. WCW MONDAY NITRO CARD PREVIEW MONDAY WEEK 3 SEPTEMBER 1995 WCW United States Title Match Sting© defends vs. Lord Steven Regal Comments: Zodiac vs. Steve 'Mongo' McMichael Comments: 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair and 'The Enforcer' Arn Anderson vs. American Males Comments: Non Title Match Road Warrior Animal vs. 'The Immortal' Hulk Hogan Comments: Fabulous Fun Fan Signs(limit of 1): Other Comments: Glad you enjoy my having the Road Warriors in the Four Horsemen. Can you imagine this group back in the 80's? As far as calling Hall and Nash by those names? Nope. And I wouldn't call Steve Austin Chilly McFreeze, either. LOL. Welcome to the diary! Better late than pregnant! But I'm glad to have you here and reading. I really appreciate you saying that I've captured the voices nicely. That is one thing that I worried over is making sure the promos fit the characters.
  2. Saturday, Week 2, September 1995 Taped from Sanford Civic Center, Sanford, FL. WCW presents... WCW Saturday Night! Match 1 Match 2 Match 3 Match 4
  3. The Fourth Labor of Jericho (Special Guest Referee: MJF): Chris Jericho vs Wardlow Comments: Pretty obvious, right? But you could go a different route and push Wardlow to the moon here. Britt Baker vs Julia Hart Comments: D M D! Jurassic Express vs Private Party Comments: I'm a fan of the Luchasaurus. Tay Conti vs Serena Deeb Comments: She continues her momentum toward the NWA event. Powerhouse Hobbs vs Brian Cage Comments: Probably wrong about this but the Swolverine can be a major star. The Good Brothers vs Hangman Page & Jon Moxley Comments: An established tag team against one that isn't but the Hangman needs momentum headed toward Rampage. Rampage AEW World Women's Championship Match: Britt Baker © vs Red Velvet Comments: Nobody beats the D M D! The Jurassic Express vs The Wingmen Comments: The Wingmen are pretty much jobbersauruses. Gauntlet Match: Hangman Page vs The Elite Comments: I'm probably wrong but this could lead to Page getting the title and I'm all for that.
  4. First of all, I read through the diary from the beginning today. I just want to say that this is one amazing diary, both from the writing standpoint and from a visual standpoint. Everything is leading towards greatness right now. Looking forward to seeing who the opponent is for Lashley at Crown Jewel. Could it be a Hall of Famer like Goldberg? Could it be Ron Simmons? Could it be the return or re-signing of someone like Bray Wyatt or Braun Strowman? On the Smackdown side, will Finn Balor get another deserved rematch with Roman Reigns? More importantly, will he get the title, maybe as The Demon. Secondly, in regards to the roster itself, it's great to see some guys like Ciampa and Adam Cole on the main roster. I have noticed some particular signings in NXT. I assume that NXT is still the developmental company and that the signings are on developmental deals. Wrestlers like Allysin Kay and Dave Finlay Jr. are great signings for the company and for the future of WWE. Finally, in regards to the question proposed above, I think that would be something very fun and interesting to do. But it's not something that I could specifically guarantee each and every week or anything. I am focused more on my diary than on anything else right now and don't want it to lose any focus. But I will definitely be reading and if something pops up in my mind, I will let you both know.
  5. Monday, Week 2, September 1995 Live from The Dahlberg Arena, Missoula, MT... Broadcast via TNT at Prime Time... WCW presents... Pay The Piper! Following the opening video, WCW Monday Nitro opens inside the Dahlberg Arena at the University of Montana! 7,022 fans are in attendance for this second ever Monday Nitro. The crowd here erupts as the sound of bagpipes begins to play. Eight bagpipers step out from the back lining up the entrance ramp with four on each side. Then we have the arrival and the WCW return of none other than the Hot Rod Roddy Piper! The crowd erupts louder as The Rowdy Scot steps toward the ring and then up the stairs and inside. He has a big smile on his face and a microphone in hand. Roddy Piper: "Thanks everyone. Thank you very much. I guess my invitation for last week got lost in the mail, huh? Well, the Hot Rod has arrived and now this is truly the place where the big boys play. You know, I've got a rap sheet longer than my arm and you fans still cheer for me? Thank you so much for that. After talking with the higher-ups, I can tell each and every one of you that next week two wrestlers will be going into the Pit With Piper. Those two men are the Jolly Green Giant and the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan. Hulk, I remember another time where you were in the Pit with a giant. But you both need to remember that just when you think you have all the answers, I change the questions!" A pause is all that is needed at this moment for someone else's music to begin to play. Piper has been interrupted by the arrival of V.K. Wallstreet! In the background, a sign goes up that reads: 'RAW. Really Awful Wrestling.' Wallstreet walks to the ring and steps inside with Piper giving him a look. Roddy Piper: "I think you got lost there, Mr. Wallstreet. This is my ring. This is the Hot Rod's ring. You're stepping in the Pit with Piper, Captain." V.K. Wallstreet: "Your ring? Listen here you cross-eyed halfwit. Do you know who you're talking to? I am V.K. Wallstreet, the greatest wrestler to come out of Syracuse University. You're just some idiot in a skirt. You're some guy in a skirt that doesn't know when to quit. But you're going to learn when to quit when V.K. Wallstreet is finished with you because V.K. Wallstreet is a real player." Roddy Piper: "You think you're a tough guy, huh? I say you prove it. At Fall Brawl, you and me one on one. I can promise you that, in my ring, I will put you to sleep. You have to remember that what doesn't kill me, makes me stronger and I'm feeling mighty powerful." In answer to the challenge, Wallstreet tries to sucker punch Roddy but Piper blocks and then pokes Wallstreet in the eye. Piper sends Wallstreet over the top rope with a clothesline and then celebrates in the ring alone before exiting and heading for the back. Match #1 The Fight Continues The bell has sounded but the action has not stopped in the ring. The Giant uses one hand to choke Lex Luger. The Shark drops to the mat and strikes Luger from behind. The Giant releases Luger just so that The Shark can pick him up and drop him with a body slam! The Giant calls for the Choke Slam but here comes Hulk Hogan! The WCW World Heavyweight Champion rushes into the ring with a chair, striking The Shark and knocking him out of the ring. Hogan turns his attention to The Giant but The Taskmaster steps between them. The Taskmaster grabs The Giant and pulls him back and out of the ring. Hogan helps Luger to his feet and the two men go face to face. Hogan drops the chair and Luger smirks, patting Hogan on the shoulder before exiting the ring. Mystery Backstage Attack With that, we go backstage where we find The Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart laid out! He is bloody and battered and barely awake as officials check on him. He doesn't seem to know what happened or who attacked him. Hulk Hogan shows up, looking down at his manager. Hulk Hogan: "What happened, Jimmy?" The man known as The Mouth of the South cannot even talk at this point. Hogan helps him up and escorts him toward an ambulance in the back. Hogan helps Jimmy Hart into the ambulance and then climbs in with the two of them headed to a local medical facility. That being done, we head to the ring for our next match. Match #2 Road Warrior Surprise Once the ring is cleared, 'Iron Man' begins to play and here comes Road Warrior Hawk! Hawk has his spiked shoulderpads on as he stomps down to the ring. He climbs the stairs and steps inside, asking for a microphone. Road Warrior Hawk: "Well! Last week, I came out here and promised a surprise this week on WCW Monday Nitro. I am nothing if not a man of my word. So without further..." Ric Flair: "Shut up! It's time for you to shut up while you're standing in the ring that belongs to Ric Flair and Arn Anderson." Ric Flair and Arn Anderson walk out from the back and walk directly into the ring. Flair gets on one side of Hawk and Anderson stands on the other side. Ric Flair: "Take a good look in this ring, Hawk. There's two of us and only one of you. That means you need to stand there and listen to the Nature Boy and The Enforcer. Whooo. We can't help the fact that we are the two best wrestlers in the business. We were born to be the best because we were born to be Horsemen. The Four Horsemen will always be the..." Road Warrior Hawk: "Well, Ric! You can talk about being the best and I don't mean to cut you off here but we still have a surprise to go. Let's take a look at what that surprise is." 'Iron Man' begins to play again and out from the back comes long-time Road Warrior Manager Paul Ellering! Ellering has the Wall Street Journal in hand before he points to the back and here comes Road Warrior Animal! The Road Warriors are reunited! Animal and Paul join Hawk in the ring and they move to one corner opposite of Ric Flair and Arn Anderson. Ric and Arn huddle together in the corner for a moment before Arn steps forward with a microphone in hand. Arn Anderson: "Ric, you were right about the Horsemen being the best. I have a little bit of history when it comes to tag teams, though. I can say that these two men right here are one of the best tag teams in the history of professional wrestling. That means that they deserve to be Horsemen." Arn Anderson offers his hand across to Hawk! The crowd boos, trying to get the Road Warriors not to listen. Hawk accepts the handshake and then raises four fingers! Paul Ellering raises four fingers! Animal raises four fingers! Ric Flair struts across the ring and the four men embrace in the center of the ring before raising their arms. We have a new Four Horsemen group and they might be the most dangerous group yet! The five men exit the ring together and head for the back. Just how in the world did this get set up? Was this the surprise that Hawk was really talking about? Match #3 Flyin' Fighter The camera cuts to the ramp where Gene Okerlund is standing by. Take it away, Mean Gene! Gene Okerlund: "Thanks Eric, Brain. Mean Gene here to remind you to call our WCW Hotline! It's only $5.99 the first minute and .99 each additional minute. You'll get all the latest updates on the action here in WCW. Speaking of action, let's welcome down my guest at this time. He is a former NFL player and current WCW wrestler, 'Flyin' Brian Pillman!" The crowd cheers as Brian Pillman comes out from the back. Flyin' Brian high fives some fans in the front row before joining Gene-o and adjusting the tie of Gene Okerlund. Gene Okerlund: "Thanks, Brian. We all saw earlier that your opponent tonight, Ric Flair, has reformed the Four Horsemen with Arn Anderson, The Road Warriors and Paul Ellering. Momentum seems to be on his side. Can we get your thoughts going into that battle tonight?" Brian Pillman: "Gene, we've both been around this wrestling business for many years, right? We both know that Ric Flair is going to take whatever shortcuts he can get away with in this match. He is the dirtest player in the game, after all. He proved that earlier tonight when Sting got attacked backstage." Gene Okerlund: "Sting was attacked backstage?" Brian Pillman: "Yeah, he says he doesn't know who did it but I have a strong suspicion that the newly formed Horsemen have something to do with it. That means that I go into this match with Ric Flair tonight looking for revenge for my friend, Sting. RIc, tonight, you're going to get a crash course in the value of friendship when I take you downtown." Gene Okerlund: "Thank you, Brian. Now, let's head up to the ring to see our WCW World Tag Team Champions in action." Match #4: Non Title Match Diamond Or Coal? From the ring, we move to a pre-taped promo with the WCW World Television Champion The Renegade. He looks into the camera with the title belt around his waist. The Renegade: "Diamond Dallas Page, you dared to issue a challenge to The Renegade for my World Television title? You are a giant fool and I will prove that to you this Saturday on WCW Saturday Night. I have been programmed to destroy any and all victims that step into my path. When you get in my way, you will be terminated by the toughest man in World Championship Wrestling. I will take you from a diamond to dust. I will free that Diamond Doll from you and you will be left alone with nothing to hold. You will be destroyed!" The Renegade snarls and yells, waving his arms in the air. He turns and slams a fist into a wall before we head back to the ring for our main event. Match #5 Eric Bischoff: "Bobby, how in the world did Flyin Brian kick out of that?" Bobby Heenan: "I don't know! That was a slow count! That wasn't fair to Flair!" Horsemen Beatdown Speaking of breaking legs, the bell sounds but Ric Flair refuses to release the Figure Four on Brian Pillman! Arn Anderson enters the ring and tosses referee Nick Patrick over the top rope to the floor. Ric finally releases the hold as Road Warriors and Paul Ellering come down to join the other two Horsemen in the ring. They each take turns stomping on Brian Pillman. Road Warrior Animal gives a double thumbs up and everyone knows what that means. Road Warrior Hawk heads to the top turnbuckle while Animal lifts Pillman in the electric chair position. Hawk leaps and catches Pillman with the Doomsday Device flying clothesline! Pillman is left laid out in the middle of the ring as Flair asks for a microphone. Ric Flair: "WCW! Take a good look at what just happened to Brian Pillman. That is what's going to happen to every single wrestler that steps up against the Four Horsemen. You're looking at four diamonds in a promotion filled with coal. Next week, we are going to continue just the way we started tonight. Hulk Hogan, the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, well, you know the old saying that to be the man, you have to beat the man. Next week, you are going to walk that aisle against not Ric Flair but against Road Warrior Animal! Whooo! Hulk, you're gonna bleed all night long and that's the bottom line." Ric begins strutting around the ring as the Four Horsemen and Paul Ellering stand side by side. All five men raise four fingers in the center of the ring before we go up to the announce booth. The Big Surprise At the announce booth, of course, are Eric Bischoff and Bobby Heenan. Eric Bischoff: "Bobby, we're going to wrap things up here and it's just like I thought: that man Hall is all talk and no action. There must not have been a big surprise." Suddenly, Hall comes walking through the crowd and walking toward the announce booth. The Brain takes off his headset and takes off away from the scene, leaving only Eric Bischoff there at the announce booth. Eric stands to go face to face with Hall. Eric Bischoff: "Well, I'm here, Hall. Where is your big surprise? You have done a lot of talk, now where's the walk?" Hall points behind Eric Bischoff and Eric turns to come face to chest with the former Diesel of the World Wrestling Federation! This big surprise grabs a microphone from Bischoff. Big Surprise: "You and everyone else around you have been sitting out here running your mouths without any repercussions. This is where the big boys play? Well, look at the adjective - play! We're not here to play. Now, he said last week that he was going to have a big surprise this week. Here I am. Now we want you to get three of those fossils you call wrestlers together to face us." Eric Bischoff: "I don't have the authority right now and there's only two of you guys." Big Surprise: "You let us worry about that. I'll tell you what, we will be in the building at the end of the month at Fall Brawl. You get that authority together by then and we'll see you then." Hall: "Hey, hey big man, I say me and you, we go to Fall Brawl and maybe these fossils will want to fight." Big Surprise: "The measuring stick has just changed around here and you're looking at them." The Big Surprise and Hall push Eric Bischoff down in his chair and laugh as security steps in to escort them away. The show comes to an end as Eric looks in the camera shaking his head.
  6. Thanks for the predictions and comments. The Shark is definitely an interesting matchup for Luger. Both men are power wrestlers. Which power will pick up the victory? I had forgotten that about the Zodiac, honestly. I looked it up after you posted. That is absolutely crazy. Definitely BS. Thank you for the predictions and comments. The Shark is definitely an awful gimmick but it is fitting inside the Dungeon of Doom, after all. It is a grouping of bad gimmicks. I plan on and hope for Sabu to last longer than he did in real life. He definitely brings something different to the ahem table. Thank you for your comments on the formatting. I understand that most diaries have pictures but the less pictures makes the formatting a little easier. I hope that the lack of visuals is made up for in the full presentation of the diary. Speaking of which, I am hoping to have the next Monday Nitro show up tomorrow barring some rt situations. Thank you to everyone for reading so far.
  7. Very interested in getting in on the ground level here. Glad I went with WCW 1995 instead of AEW. Not sure I could compete with the likes of you.
  8. WCW MONDAY NITRO CARD PREVIEW MONDAY WEEK 2 SEPTEMBER 1995 The Shark vs. 'The Total Package' Lex Luger Comments: 'The Arabian Nightmare' Sabu vs. 'Das Wunderkind' Alex Wright Comments: Zodiac vs. 'The Macho Man' Randy Savage Comments: Non Title Match Bunkhouse Buck and 'Dirty' Dick Slater vs. The Armstrong Brothers Comments: 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair vs. 'Flyin' Brian Pillman Comments: Fabulous Fun Fan Signs(limit of 1): Other Comments: Something like the nWo is definitely happening early. Will it be the same as what happened in the real world? Maybe. But if I said something, there'd be no reason to tune in. Thank you for reading, though, and, especially, for commenting. One of the reasons I post here is to get feedback. Very interested in reading thoughts on the formatting and all.
  9. Saturday, Week 1, September 1995 Taped from Generic Venue, Mid West. WCW presents... WCW Saturday Night! Match 1 Match 2 Match 3 Match 4
  10. Monday, Week 1, September 1995 Live from The Duluth Entertainment Center, Duluth, MN... Broadcast via TNT at Prime Time... WCW presents... Match #1: WCW United States Title Match Horsemen Reunion Halted The bell sounds but before Sting can release the hold, he is struck from behind with a tire iron to the back of the head by Arn Anderson! Double A has entered the ring and has had some issues with Ric Flair but on this first WCW Monday Nitro he has struck Sting from behind. Flair slowly pulls himself up and puts his hands up to ward off Anderson. After a moment, Anderson offers a handshake with four fingers. The two men shake hands and Flair smiles, stomping on Sting! He grabs the legs to lock on another Figure Four but someone else comes running in from the back. It's Brian Pillman! Flyin' Brian leaps to the top rope and hits Air Pillman on both Flair and Anderson! A pair of dropkicks sends them scurrying outside the ring. Pillman checks on Sting and helps him to his feet. Brian Pillman and the WCW United States Champion Sting stand side by side in the ring with Ric Flair and Arn Anderson staring at them from ringside. War Games No More? We move to the announce booth where announcers Eric Bischoff and Bobby Heenan are shown. Eric Bischoff: "Bobby, it's time to welcome everyone to the very first edition of WCW Monday Nitro! Of course, I'm Eric Bischoff and this is my broadcast colleague Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan. Bobby, are you as excited as I am to be here in Duluth, Minnesota for this show?" Bobby Heenan: "Are you kidding me? It's the only reason I would even come to Duluth. You know that the smartest person in this town only made it to the second grade, right?" Eric Bischoff: "You know that's not true, Bobby. But what we also know is that we have a major announcement to make this evening. The decision was made by the WCW Championship Committee that the former War Games match set for Fall Brawl will no longer take place. Instead, we will see the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan defend his title against The Giant. But that's not all. You want to take the next part, Brain?" Bobby Heenan: "I still say it's not fair but we learned that if The Giant loses that match, The Dungeon Of Doom must disband. However, I don't think that The Taskmaster has any concerns because who can beat a man the size of The Giant?" Eric Bischoff: "Hulk Hogan is the only man that I can think of. But talking about The Giant, he is in action in his in-ring debut next on this first edition of Monday Nitro! Let's head to the ring for that contest." Match #2 Did Hogan Make A Mistake? The Taskmaster enters the ring to celebrate the victory with The Giant. They are joined in the ring by Gene Okerlund, who has a microphone. Take it away, Mean Gene! Gene Okerlund: "Hello Duluth! Gene Okerlund here alongside The Taskmaster and the number one contender to the WCW World Heavyweight title, The Giant! Kevin Sullivan, The Giant made short work of Joey Maggs tonight but his big match has been scheduled for Fall Brawl at the end of the month when he takes on Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight title. What plans do you have for that match?" The Taskmaster: "Gene Okerlund, take a good look at the man standing here between us. This is the world's tallest athlete. He's a freak of nature. The only plan we need when it comes to Hulk Hogan is to decide what to put on the tombstone of HulkaMania. This man, The Giant, is going to do what I have been trying to do for a long time: he is going to force Hulk Hogan to retire. Hulk, look down at the title belt around your waist and enjoy it because at the end of the month this man is going to take the belt from you and there's nothing you can do to stop him." The Giant roars. Gene Okerlund: "Thank you, Kevin Sullivan. We'll be back soon right here on WCW Monday Nitro!" Macho Madness Monday Following the commercial break, we are taken to a pre-taped promo by Randy Savage! Randy Savage: "OH YEAH! The Macho Man is here for the very first WCW Monday Nitro! Tonight, it will be The Macho Man stepping in the ring against Mr. Wonderful. Paula, you and I have been around a long time, yeah. But the difference between the two of us is that I've gotten better with age while you have aged like milk. It's gonna be wild! It's gonna be crazy! Macho Madness is going to show up right here tonight on the very first WCW Monday Nitro! And the Macho Man is going to take over the show. OH YEAH! DIG IT!" Match #3 Big Surprise Part 1 Following the victory by Dean Malenko, the cameras begin panning around the crowd as Eric Bischoff and Bobby Heenan discuss the things that have already happened on Nitro so far. The camera suddenly stops and zooms in on someone walking through the crowd. The man is known to wrestling fans as the former Razor Ramon in the WWF. The man leaps the guardrail and grabs a microphone before entering the ring and standing in the center. Known Man: "Hey yo! You people. You know who I am. But you don't know why I'm here. Where is Billionaire Ted? Where is that WCW Franchise Stung, I mean, Sting? He's in the back getting medical assistance after a little lump on his head. Those people who do know me know that I go wherever I want, whenever I want. And where oh where is Scheme Gene? I got a scoop for you. Hey Ken Doll, I know you're listening right now. I've got a big surprise coming for you next week. You wanna go to war? You want a war? You've got one." The man looks around as security begins filling the ringside area. He is compliant, though, exiting the ring and being escorted to the back as Bischoff and Heenan wonder just how he got here. The Road Warrior Once the area is cleared, Gene Okerlund walks out and steps onto the ramp along the entranceway. Gene Okerlund: "Hello ladies and gentlemen! Mean Gene Okerlund here. Make sure to call the WCW Hotline to get all the updates following this episode of WCW Monday Nitro! We have already had several surprises on this first night and I am sure we will have more. They will all be talked about on the WCW Hotline! Now, to my special guest, at this time. He is a former WCW World Tag Team Champion now striking out on his own. Please welcome Road Warrior Hawk!" The crowd cheers as Road Warrior Hawk comes out from the back. He looks around for a moment before turning his attention to Gene-o. Gene Okerlund: "Hawk, thank you for taking the time to join me this evening. We have learned that Kursawa has made his way back to Japan. With that being said, what are your plans as we move into the Monday Nitro era of World Championship Wrestling?" Road Warrior Hawk: "Well! That Kentucky Fried Colonel has sent his prized stallion back to Japan. That means that both of those bozos are in my rear view mirror. Now it's time for me to look toward the future. The future means a big surprise that is coming next week. You will not know that surprise until it happens in one week but I can tell you that it is a great surprise." Gene Okerlund: "Can you tell me something, Hawk? Something that can go on the hotline?" Road Warrior Hawk: "Because it's you, Mean Gene, I will give you a hint. That hint is that beginning next week I will once again snack on danger and dine on death. Ohhh WHAT A RUSH!" Road Warrior Hawk's music plays once again as Gene-o sends us up to the ring for our next match. Match #4 HulkaMania at PastaMania With the crowd cheering on the victory by Randy Savage, we are brought to a pre-taped video that takes place inside the Mall Of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. It starts with a focus on a line in front of the brand new PastaMania restaurant in the food court. The cameras turn and zoom in on a table with Tony Schiavone and Hulk Hogan! Before the interview gets started, a fan walks up to Hogan with a sign reading: 'WHAT YA GONNA DO WHEN PASTAMANIA RUNS WILD ON YOU?!' He asks for an autograph and Hogan autographs the sign before the fan returns to the PastaMania line. Tony Schiavone: "Wrestling fans, we are here at the Mall Of America in Bloomington, Minnesota for the opening of PastaMania! I'm Tony Schiavone and I'm here with the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan. Hulk, congratulations on opening the new restaurant." Hulk Hogan: "Well, let me tell you something, brother. PastaMania is here to stay in the Mall Of America, dude. Take a look at that line filled with all those Hulkamaniacs here in Minnesota. These are all people that know to say their prayers, eat their vitamins and train each and every day, brother. That's what it takes to become the top of the ladder and become the WCW World Heavyweight Champion." Tony Schiavone: "Speaking of that title, you have two big matches coming up against members of The Dungeon Of Doom. Tonight on WCW Monday Nitro, you face off with Big Bubba Rogers and then at Fall Brawl you take on The Giant. Your thoughts as we move closer to those matches?" Hulk Hogan: "Well, you know something, Tony, first things first and that is Big Bubba Rogers tonight. I know that Minnesota is filled with the power of Hulkamania, dude. There are all these Hulkamaniacs filling each and every arena. They are the ones that will give me the advantage over Big Bubba Rogers tonight. Bubba, you and I have gone up and down the road together, brother, but tonight is just another night where the power of Hulkamania will run over another wrestler. Then we have that big, stinky, smelly Giant. Giant, if that is your real name, brother, our match is going to be the finish of The Dungeon Of Doom sticking their nose in my business. When I beat you one on one, dude, all of the Hulkamaniacs are going to destroy that Dungeon until there is nothing left. Bubba, Giant, you're going to have to ask yourself one question. That question is whatcha gonna do when the power of Hulkamania and all these Hulkamaniacs runs wild over you?!?!" Tony Schiavone: "Thank you, Hulk. PastaMania is running wild! But, now, let's go back to Duluth, Minnesota and Eric and Bobby!" Match #5: Non Title Match Eric Bischoff: "Hulk is Hulking Up, Bobby! He's got the fans in here chanting his name." Bobby Heenan: "No, no, no! I hate when this happens!" Big Surprise Part 2 It's celebration time for the WCW World Heavyweight Champion! Hulk Hogan is given the title belt by Jimmy Hart, who enters the ring. Hart joins Hogan for the celebration, though, there is no chemistry between the two. As Hulk celebrates, a sign goes up in the background that reads: 'HOGAN IS WEARING HALF A WIG!' Bobby Heenan, on commentary, chuckles as that sign appears on the show. It looks like the celebration might end the show. Instead, we go to a pan of the crowd where we see someone moving through the crowd and toward the ring. That person is none other than the Total Package Lex Luger! Everyone wants to be on the first episode of WCW Monday Nitro! Luger pauses by a sign that reads: 'WWF. WORST WRESTLING FEDERATION.' He actually autographs the sign before continuing through the crowd. Luger jumps the guardrail and slides into the ring, going face to face with Hulk Hogan. Luger asks for and receives a microphone. Lex Luger: "First of all, it's good to be back here in WCW where the big boys play. I've grown tired of playing kids games up north so I've come to face the fiercest competition in the world. That competition is right here in WCW. That competition is right here in front of me, the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan. Hulk, I have a proposition to make to you. I know you have a title defense at Fall Brawl against The Giant. I'm going to make my bet that you're going to walk away with the victory in the match. So I am challenging you to a World title match next month at Halloween Havoc. What do you say?" Hulk Hogan paces around with the crowd telling him to agree to the match. They seem to really want this match! Hulk Hogan: "Well, let me tell YOU something, brother. We all know who you are, Lex. It's good to have you here in WCW because we want the best wrestlers here. I also want to face the best wrestlers, brother. So I don't need to think about your challenge. I accept it. You and me at Halloween Havoc for the WCW World Heavyweight title. Just shake my hand and it will be official." Hulk puts his hand out there and Lex doesn't hesitate in shaking that hand. The two men raise each other's arms and stand side by side in the middle of the ring. We're out of time here on WCW Monday Nitro! We'll see you this Saturday for WCW Saturday Night!
  11. Thanks for the predictions and comments and the Fabulous Fun Fan Sign! I tried to keep things as close to the original show as possible, which is one reason why I have the Sting/Flair and the Big Bubba/Hulk Hogan matches. Love the fan sign. I have the perfect place to put it in the show. This is definitely a great time period to pick things up. I have plans to make things a little different than the way they were back in the real September 1995. It should be very interesting, at least in my head. Thanks to both of you for your predictions and fabulous fun fan signs. I like both signs and have found some great places for them. The show is coming up within a day or so. So make sure to make your predictions if you want.

  15. Sunday, Week 3, July 1994 Taped from Flowers Hall, Florence, AL. WCW presents... WCW Main Event! Match 1 Match 2 Match 3
  16. Saturday, week 3, January 1994 Taped from the Dean Smith Center, Chapel Hill, NC. Broadcast via TBS at Late Evening... WCW presents... Match #1: WCW World Television Championship Match; 10 Minute Time Limit An Angry Brit From the ring, we head to the interview stage area where Gene Okerlund is waiting. Take it away, Mean Gene! Gene Okerlund: "Thanks, Tony! This is Gene Okerlund here, reminding everyone that we are one day away from Bash at the Beach. Make sure to call your local cable company and purchase the show. There will be some pre-show rumors and news on the WCW hotline. Kids, get your parents permission before calling. I am joined here now by WCW World Television Champion Lord Steven Regal and his manager Sir William. Mr. Regal, last Sunday night on the Main Event, you were assaulted by the group of Ron Simmons and Harlem Heat. May I have your comments on that assault?" Lord Steven Regal: "You want my opinion on those filthy toerags? SIr William, give them my opinion." Sir William: "His Lordship would like to say that those three men don't belong in the same ring as him. However, His Lordship would like to extend an offer to the three of them to step in the ring with him next week on WCW Saturday Night. He is extending an offer for the three of them to apologize and bend a knee to His Lordship. Thank you." Gene Okerlund: "Thank you, Sir William and Lord Steven Regal. Now, let's head back up to Tony and Bobby for our next match." From there, we head to the entrances as Lord Steven Regal and Sir William walk off. Match #2 Feeling The Bang? Following the sound of the bell, Johnny B. Badd stands and gets his arm raised by official Nick Patrick. Badd moves over to the turnbuckles and climbs up, raising fists high in the air. As Badd celebrates the victory, someone comes out from the back. It's Diamond Doll! The Diamond Doll is applauding this victory as she stands at the top of the ramp. Johnny B. Badd sees this and drops off the turnbuckles, pointing toward The Diamond Doll. She smiles at him and then looks concerned. She points behind him and Badd turns around. BANG! Diamond Dallas Page drops Johnny B. Badd with the Diamond Cutter from out of nowhere. DDP makes the Diamond sign and the BANG in Badd's face. He rolls out of the ring and that's when he sees the concerned look on Diamond Doll's face. An angry DDP grabs her by the arm and yanks her to the back, yelling at her off-microphone. As they disappear, we head to a video. Executive Vice President Speaks The video takes place in CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The camera follows WCW President Nick Bockwinkel as he is walking down a hallway. He stops in front of a door and the camera zooms in on the name on the door: Eric Bischoff WCW Executive Vice President After a moment, Nick Bockwinkel opens the door and steps inside. The camera follows him inside the office where Eric Bischoff is seated behind a large desk on a leather chair. He isn't dressed as most executives would be as he is in leather and cowboy boots. He motions to a chair for Nick Bockwinkel to sit down and Bockwinkel sits. Eric Bischoff: "Thank you, Mr. Bockwinkel, for joining me here today. You can call me Eric." Nick Bockwinkel: "Thanks, Eric. Call me Nick. I understand you'd like to speak about my decision regarding Vader and The Guardian Angel. I hope you're not thinking of overriding me." Eric Bischoff: "I wanted to start by saying that you're doing a great job as President of WCW. For the most part, I want to remain hands-off when it comes to WCW. I will stay in the background and you will stay in the foreground. But I did wish to talk to you when it comes to the Vader and Guardian Angel situation. I am not going to override your decision but I am going to alter it slightly. As you know, I wish to do what's best for business and I think that is Vader and The Guardian Angel having their match at Bash at the Beach. However, that match will be non-sanctioned by WCW and can only end when one of the two wrestlers cannot answer the ten count." Nick Bockwinkel: "I am not sure I agree with that but what about the suspension?" Eric Bischoff: "The suspension for both Vader and The Guardian Angel will begin the day after Bash at the Beach. With that, let's go into some other details to get set for Bash at the Beach." The camera shows a bit of a dejected reaction from Nick Bockwinkel about this news. Then the video fades to black before we go back to the ring for our next match. Match #3 Where's Cactus Jack? Following the victory, the team known as Pretty Wonderful are immediately on the attack of Kevin Sullivan. Paul Roma and Paul Orndorff lay down heavy punches and then a body slam by Roma. A chant for 'Cactus Jack' begins by this crowd, looking for the return of Sullivan's tag team partner. Instead, Roma motions to Orndorff and then climbs to the second turnbuckle. Orndorff sets up Sullivan in the Piledriver position. If this move is completed, Kevin Sullivan may not be able to wrestle tomorrow at Bash at the Beach! But before the move can be completed, here comes Dave Sullivan! Dave rushes down to the ring and slides inside, knocking Roma off the turnbuckle to the mat below. He puts his brother, Kevin, down from the Piledriver position and begins throwing blows to Orndorff! Dave winds his arm up and then catches Orndorff with a clothesline that knocks him to the mat. Orndorff quickly leaves the ring and Dave checks on his brother. Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan wonder about Cactus Jack and whether he will be there tomorrow to defend the titles. As Dave helps his brother up, we go to the interview stage. The Living Legend To begin the second hour, we are taken to the interview stage where Gene Okerlund is standing by, alongside The Living Legend Larry Zbyszko! It's all yours, Gene! Gene Okerlund: "Thanks Tony, Brain. I hope you enjoyed the first hour of WCW Saturday Night. We begin this second hour with another man who is very smart and that is the Living Legend Larry Zbyszko. Larry, the last time we saw you was at the Clash of the Champions where you lost the Television title to Lord Steven Regal. What are your plans as we move forward to the second half of 1994?" Larry Zbyszko: "That's a good question, Gene. Usually I would come out here and say something like, 'When everyone else is playing checkers, I'm playing chess.' Well, I have been doing some thinking about the next step of my career and I want to give someone the opportunity to prove that they know something about the human game of chess. Beginning next week, I am issuing an open challenge to anyone in the back to come out and face me one on one. A win will get you the opportunity to have me as your mentor. Good luck, gentlemen." Gene Okerlund: "That sounds like an interesting proposition from The Living Legend. Now, let us head back to the ring for our next contest." Gene Okerlund motions to the entrance. The cameras focus in and it's time for our next contest. Match #4 When Sherri Met Jimmy From the ring, we are taken to a hidden camera somewhere in the backstage area. In this hallway stands Sensuous Sherri, who we know will be with Ric Flair later on tonight. Sherri turns a corner and comes face-to-face with Hulk Hogan's manager Jimmy Hart. The Mouth of the South begins arguing with Sherri but there's no audio to this camera. After what looks like a heated argument, Sherri kicks Hart between the legs! Hart drops to his knees and Sherri strikes him in the head with her high heeled shoe! Sherri smiles and walks off, leaving Hart lying there. Tony Schiavone calls for help to the backstage area as we return to the ring for our main event. Match #5 Tony Schiavone: "Brain, I thought that the United States Champion had it." Bobby Heenan: "Steve is just playing with him, Tony. He can end this match any time he wants." The Fight Continues Following a long match, we go backstage where Arn Anderson and Dustin Rhodes are still doing battle with Terry Funk and Bunkhouse Buck! Rhodes manages to take down Buck with a bulldog and then grabs a chair that was lying around. Rhodes moves over and swings the chair at Funk but Funk ducks and the chair strikes Anderson in the head! Anderson falls with Rhodes looking at him. From behind, Meng strikes Rhodes with a kick to the back of the head. Meng locks in the Tongan Death Grip on Rhodes until he stops struggling. Funk helps Buck back up and they throw boots to Anderson before security and EMTs come in to break things up. Icons Go Face-To-Face We go to the ring for the main event portion of our show tonight. We will see two Icons of the industry go face-to-face before they face each other tomorrow for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. The first man to come out is the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair, along with Sensuous Sherri! Flair stands at the top of the ramp and circles around, showing off his robe. He walks to the ring and has Sherri hold the ropes open for him as he steps inside. He is given a microphone by Sherri and smiles as he stands in the middle of the ring. Ric Flair: "Alright, everything that I have to say, I want to say right to Hulk Hogan's face. So Hulkster, Mr. California, Mr. American Made, come walk that aisle and go face-to-face with the Man. Whooo!" After a moment, 'American Made' begins to play. We are told by the announcers that Jimmy Hart will not be here with Hulk Hogan due to the attack by Sherri earlier on. The crowd goes wild as Hulk Hogan walks out from the back. He pauses at the top of the ramp and cups his ear, listening to the cheers of all of his Hulkamaniacs in this building. Hogan makes his way all the way down to the ring and steps inside where he is handed a microphone. He looks Ric Flair in the eye, staring the WCW World Heavyweight Champion down. Hulk Hogan: "Well, let me tell YOU something, brother. You better enjoy wearing that title belt right now because in one day the power of Hulkamania is going to bring you down and that title will be put around my waist, brother." Ric Flair: "Really, Hulk? You think that this belt will fit on you after being around my slim, trim waist? Let me tell you how tomorrow is really going to go, big man. Tomorrow, you are going to walk that aisle and step in the ring with the man. Sherri, tell him who the man is." Sensuous Sherri: "Ric Flair is the man!" Ric Flair: "That's right. Hulk Hogan, you are going to step in the ring with the man who styles and profiles. You are going to step in the ring with a limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing, wheeling, dealing son of a gun who kisses the girls and makes them cry. They cry because they know that they can't keep The Nature Boy for themselves. Hulk, tomorrow, I am going to prove why I am the best. Whooo!" The whoo is right up in Hulk Hogan's face! Hulk takes a step back and smiles as he raises a microphone. Hulk Hogan: "Before you make those girls cry, Ric, can I recommend a breath mint?" Ric Flair looks very upset but gets held back by Sherri for now. Hulk Hogan: "And another thing, Sherri, you heard what he says? No woman can keep The Nature Boy for themselves. What about you? Can you keep The Nature Boy to yourself? We'll come back to that. Tomorrow night, Ric Flair, you are going to face Hulk Hogan and all the Hulkamaniacs in the audience, brother. That means that you are going to have to face the greatest power in professional wrestling and that is the power of Hulkamania. Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when the power of Hulkamania runs wild over you?!?!" Ric approaches Hulk and throws a punch but Hogan blocks it! Hulk has Flair by the wrist as Sensuous Sherri sneaks around behind Hogan. Sherri catches Hogan with a low blow, sending Hogan to his knees! Flair kicks Hogan in the face and then goes right for his right knee. He does various moves, including the seated senton on the ropes. Security and EMTs finally reach the ring after Flair has Hogan in the Figure Four Leglock for about a minute. The hold is broken and Flair and Sherri leave the ring with their arms raised. The camera zooms in on a hurting Hogan as Tony Schiavone reminds everyone to purchase WCW Bash at the Beach tomorrow live on pay-per-view!

  18. Sunday, Week 2, July 1994 Taped from Coppin Center, Baltimore, MD. WCW presents... WCW Main Event! Match 1 Match 2 Match 3 Match 4
  19. Sorry it's taken so long for me to get this one done. I blame the holidays right now. Hopefully, there won't be as much time between shows as we move forward. --- Saturday, week 2, January 1994 Taped from the DC Armory, Washington, D.C.. Broadcast via TBS at Late Evening... WCW presents... Entering The Building This week, the show begins outside the DC Armory. A large group of security guards are in front of the door. In front of them stand Harley Race and Vader. The guards are keeping the two men from entering the building. Head of security Doug Dellinger steps forward. Doug Dellinger: "Sorry, Mr. Race and Mr. Vader but Nick Bockwinkel has told us that you are not to be allowed in the building. The Guardian Angel has a match. That is why he is allowed in the building. Sorry but we cannot let you in." Dellinger motions and the security guards line up across the door. The camera zooms in on Harley Race, who just slowly smiles before we fade back to the ring. Match #1 Guarding Vader Following the opening match, we are taken to the interview stage with Gene Okerlund. Take it away, Gene! Gene Okerlund: "Thank you, Tony. Now, remember, we have some exclusive content on the WCW Hotline tonight. There has been a huge international injury. We have the exclusive about it on the hotline. Now, my guest at this time is none other than the man who will face Vader at Bash at the Beach, The Guardian Angel. Guardian Angel, in eight days you will step in the ring against Vader. May I have your thoughts as we move closer to this event?" The Guardian Angel: "I'm here to tell you, Gene, that the reason Nick Bockwinkel kept Vader from the building this week is so that the match will take place at Bash at the Beach. If Vader was in the building right now, we'd finish it eight days early and he'd be serving some hard time." A split-screen shows up and shows the entrance to the building. The group of security guards that were blocking the entrance are now laid out on the ground. Back to the interview stage, Vader and Harley Race are approaching The Guardian Angel! Angel doesn't back down, immediately meeting Vader with punches and forearm smashes! The two large men begin to brawl with Gene Okerlund ducking out of the way. Vader grabs The Guardian Angel and whips him into the interview set, nearly knocking it over. More security rushes out to break this up and they are led by Nick Bockwinkel! Nick Bockwinkel: "That's it! You're both suspended for one month and your match at Bash at the Beach is off! Security, get them out of here!" The brawl continues amidst the security trying to restore order. Finally, one of the security members is forced to use a taser on both men before they are dragged away. Bash At The Beach Control Center As order is restored at the interview set, we are taken to a video featuring Gordon Solie! Gordon Solie: "Good evening, everyone and welcome to the Bash at the Beach Control Center. We are only eight days away from this big event. We will see matches such as Ric Flair defending the prestigious WCW World Heavyweight Championship against The Immortal Hulk Hogan, 'Stunning' Steve Austin defends the WCW United States Championship against Ricky The Dragon Steamboat, The Nasty Boys face off against Sting and Road Warrior Animal and we will see what has been challenged to be a No Disqualification match as The Stud Stable take on these two men, Arn Anderson and Dustin Rhodes." The video flips to a promo style interview featuring Arn Anderson and Dustin Rhodes. Arn Anderson: "When Dustin Rhodes came to me and asked me to be his partner, I really thought that I was losing it. A Rhodes and an Anderson on the same team? But it works because we have a common goal and that goal is to take out The Stud Stable. Terry Funk, Bunkhouse Buck, you want our match to be no disqualification? You must not realize who you're messing with. I can say without a doubt that I accept the invitation." Dustin Rhodes: "I'm not so sure. No disqualification is not where I am at my best. It would play to the strengths of The Stud Stable, especially with Meng and Colonel Parker at ringside. But I am going to leave it to your veteran leadership, Double A. Whether it's no DQ or not, we are going to be there taking care of business when it comes to The Stud Stable. Double A and The Natural will get it done naturally." Dustin and Arn give each other a fist bump before we go to the ring. Match #2 French Invasion From the ring, we move to a promo involving the French Aristocrat Jean-Paul Levesque! Jean-Paul Levesque: "In just a few moments, I, Jean-Paul Levesque, am going to lower myself by stepping inside the squared circle with Ricky Steamboat. Ricky, you have something that Jean-Paul wants and that is a title shot. You see, that is the one thing that Jean-Paul has never had here in WCW and that's a title. When Jean-Paul defeats you tonight then Nick Bockwinkel and the rest of the championship committee will see that Jean-Paul deserves a title match. I will go through you and anyone else that I have to in order to secure this title shot. It begins with you tonight, Ricky Dragon Steamboat, but it will only end when Jean-Paul Levesque is WCW World Heavyweight Champion!" With that, it's time to head to the ring for our first hour main event. Match #3 Tony Schiavone: "Jean-Paul Levesque has shown us a lot in this match tonight, Bobby. The young wrestler has been able to hang with the veteran in The Dragon." That's A Wrap Following the sound of the bell, WCW United States Champion Steve Austin rushes out from the back and slides in the ring. Ricky Steamboat gets his hand raised by referee Randy Anderson before Anderson moves out of the way. Austin catches Steamboat with a chop block to the back of the knee. Stunning Steve grabs the knee and wraps Steamboat in his inverted figure four known as That's A Wrap! Referee Randy Anderson calls for help and security comes out from the back. Doug Dellinger and security slide in the ring, working to break the inverted figure four. Austin smiles as the hold is broken and he grabs his title belt, raising it up to boos from the crowd. Austin slides out of the ring as EMTs come out and check on Steamboat. Flyin' To The Top To begin the second hour, we are taken to a pre-taped promo with Brian Pillman. Brian Pillman: "Ric Flair, you better get ready for tonight. You better have your wrestling shoes on. Tonight, when we step in the ring, I am going to prove my worth as not just the best Light Heavyweight wrestler in the business but the best wrestler in the business. You talk about walking that aisle and being the man? Well, tonight, I am going to prove that I am worthy of being the man in this company, Ric Flair. You better get ready to speed things up in the ring because Air Pillman is coming for you." Pillman poses briefly as we cut away. Old Glory Returning to the ringside area, the fans are on their feet as Stars 'N' Stripes make their way out from the back. The Patriot and Marcus Alexander Bagwell are waving the American flag as they walk down the ramp. When they reach ringside, they pull out a large bag filled with small American flags. They begin handing those flags out to the fans around ringside. With Ron Simmons and Harlem Heat in action next, Stars 'N' Stripes take to chairs at ringside to watch and scout their opponents at Bash At The Beach. Match #4 Flirting With The Diamond Doll? From the ring, we are taken to the interview staging area where Mean Gene Okerlund is standing by. Take it away, Mean Gene! Gene Okerlund: "Thank you very much for that, Tony. We have a great crowd here tonight. We are in the DC Armory in our nation's capital, Washington, D.C. These fans are something else. I wonder what kind of reception they are going to give my guest at this time. Please welcome Diamond Dallas Page!" The crowd boos in the background as Diamond Dallas Page and Diamond Doll walk out from the back. They join Gene Okerlund at the interview stage. DDP makes Diamond Doll stand behind him. Gene Okerlund: "For those who did not see it, last week on WCW Main Event, you, Diamond Dallas Page, assaulted Johnny B. Badd. Let's see a clip of that attack." A clip of the attack by DDP on Johnny B. Badd is shown before we return to the interview stage. Gene Okerlund: "Diamond Dallas Page, the question on everyone's mind is just why you attacked Johnny B. Badd. Can you answer that for me?" Diamond Dallas Page: "Gene-o, let me tell you this, Johnny B. Badd got lucky last week. He got lucky that he walked away without an injury. For those who don't know, Johnny B. Badd has been flirting with my Diamond Doll backstage. He thinks he can steal the Doll? Everyone knows that I am chiseled stone and b a double d, bad to the bone. Johnny, the next time you step close to my Doll or even look in her direction, you are going to feel the BANG!" DDP throws up the diamond symbol and back down as he says 'bang.' He grabs the Doll by the arm and pulls her off with him as we go back to the ring. Match #5 The Sullivans It's time to go back to the interview staging area and everyone's favorite interviewer Gene Okerlund. Here we go, Gene! Gene Okerlund: "Hello everyone. While we get prepared for our main event tonight, please welcome my guests at this time. They are the current WCW World Tag Team Champions Kevin Sullivan and Cactus Jack along with Kevin's brother Dave Sullivan!" Surprisingly, only Kevin and Dave Sullivan come out from the back with Kevin's title belt. They join Okerlund at the staging area, leaving people wondering about the status of Cactus Jack. Gene Okerlund: "To begin with, gentleman, I must ask you where is your partner, Cactus Jack?" Kevin Sullivan: "That's a good question, Gene. Honestly, we don't know where he is. All we know is that he better show up at Bash at the Beach to defend our WCW World Tag Team titles." Gene Okerlund: "Speaking of which, you and Cactus Jack will defend those belts against the team of Pretty Wonderful. That is two veteran wrestlers, including Paul Orndorff and Paul Roma. What are you going to do if Cactus Jack doesn't show up?" Dave Sullivan: "ME! ME! ME!" Kevin Sullivan: "That's right, Dave. If Cactus Jack isn't man enough to show up and defend these belts, then my brother will step in as my partner. I can tell you that my brother is more of a man than Cactus Jack has ever been. He will make a great partner to defend these belts if Cactus Jack doesn't show up. Pretty Wonderful, you picked the wrong time to pick on the Sullivans." Gene Okerlund: "Thank you Kevin, Dave. Now, let's head to the ring for our main event." Kevin Sullivan raises his title belt and we are taken to the entrances for our main event. Match #6: Non Title Match Tony Schiavone: "How did Flyin' Brian kick out? I thought he was knocked out, Brain!" Flair And Hogan The match is over but Ric Flair refuses to release the Figure Four on Brian Pillman. Referee Nick Patrick tells Flair to let go but Flair refuses! Sensuous Sherri enters the ring and argues with the referee before Flair finally releases the Figure Four. Sherri hands Flair the WCW World Heavyweight title belt. Flair raises the belt up high, drawing boos from the crowd. As Flair and Sherri stand in the ring, the jumbotron lights up to show Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart! Hulk Hogan: "Let me tell you something, brother. Ric Flair, you're going to have to go face-to-face with me next week on WCW Saturday Night. I will be right there, brother, so whatcha gonna do when the power of Hulkamania runs wild over you?!?!" Hogan poses on the jumbotron screen while Flair and Sherri look shocked! We'll see those two go face-to-face next week as we head toward the Bash At The Beach! We'll see you tomorrow for Main Event! --- I agree with both of you about July 1994 being a fun time for WCW. Hogan has just arrived but we haven't yet signed all his friends. Will I be signing them? The only way to find out is to watch. So far Simmons and Heat don't have a stable name. I don't want to use the Nation name. I'm glad you enjoy my putting Sting and Animal together. In real life, he wasn't even used at Bash at the Beach but I like to switch things up a little bit. Glad you all enjoyed the first show and I hope you all enjoy this one.

Early on in the bout, it's all about the champs as Kevin Sullivan sets up Brian Knobbs in the Tree of Woe and catches him with a running knee. He only gets a two count, though, because the pinfall is broken up by Jerry Sags. A momentum shift occurs when Dave Sullivan gets overexcited at ringside and accidentally hits Cactus Jack in the back with one of his crutches. Dave looks wide-eyed but The Nasty Boys take full advantage. They drag Jack over to their corner and use frequent tags and double teams to keep him down. They send Jack to Pity City over in the corner and Knobbs takes him down with a body slam and a pin: 1... 2... Kickout! The Galen Center gets behind Cactus Jack, trying to will him to make the tag. Knobbs goes for a running powerslam but Jack slips down and shoves Knobbs chest-first into the turnbuckle. Knobbs pops out and is taken down with a clothesline. Hot tags are made on both sides with Kevin Sullivan rushing in and attacking Jerry Sags. Sullivan shows a little bit of power when he body slams both members of The Nasty Boys. Instead, he walks past the action, grabbing his belt and walking toward the back. Kevin exits the ring and begins throwing down with Pretty Wonderful! Kevin uses his belt to send Orndorff and Roma running. He checks on his brother, calling for help from the back. The fans are shocked that Cactus Jack just walked away. Sting fires chops back to Flair's chest and then picks up The Nature Boy, lifting him and bringing him to the mat with a press slam.
