1.
I've been running a WWE game with one of the Real World mods and I'm about a year in. The three former members of the Shield have been fixtures on top of the card, with Rollins as a not so chickenshit heel champion consistently facing Ambrose and Reigns. I've tried to make Roman a more tweener character, someone loyal to Ambrose but not above bending the rules to get his, keeping Dean the slightly crazed goofball.

Recently, I've had Roman finally accept the call of the Authority and take Rollins' slot as The Chosen One. This is where I need help.

I have an idea to make Ambrose a sort of Sting-esque character in the aftermath of being betrayed once again. I want him to kind of eschew the traditional vengeful babyface thing by having him basically stop giving a shit about wrestling. He's so frustrated and jaded with the knives in his back and lack of reward for staying on the righteous path he just kinda snaps. My original idea was to book him so he would come into a match, wreck his opponent to the point of victory, only to walk out of the ring and take a count-out loss. Except he would do this everytime. So over the course of months you have this guy who is the most dangerous player in the game and he couldn't care less about winning. This would inevitably lead him to a showdown with the champ, through some magical booking scenario, where he has the chance to right the wrongs and claim what's his, or throw it all away to continue making a point.

My concern here is I'm fairly certain having a main event level babyface losing every match via count out isn't gonna have the intended grandiosity and would tank the guy. I've been trying to think of ways to make the same kind of story, but I've been struggling with it.

So what say you, folks? Any advice?
