  1. After a highly successful Against All Odds which saw AJ Styles and Beer Money return to the pinnacle of the company that they helped build, the fallout is expected to be intense. The first confirmed match for this week is, of course, the #1 contenders, Subculture challenging the champions Beer Money for the the Tag Team titles. Steve Maclin has sustained a separated shoulder during his match against the Killer Elite Squad and initial reports suggest that he will miss Slammiversary. Although Josh Alexander is fully fit and he has shaken off his injury and if dirt sheets are to be believed, then Alexander and Maclin's tag run is coming to an end and it's time for both of them to go solo. There have also been reports regarding number of female tag teams who have been signed for the KO tag division and one such team, Sea Stars would make their debut against Coven while another team is expected to make their appearance in a segment. This Week on TNA - Fallout week from Against All Odds Beer Money takes on Subculture for their first defense of tag team titles Sea Stars makes their debut against Coven We hear from AJ Styles The Tag Ranking Series continue Major Empire takes on Time Machine

  6. Well, the opportunity presented itself so i thought why not? But she is currently in declining phase and her performance is very poor so she is definitely not coming back, this was a one - off. Deonna's current arc is definitely interesting, at least in my head so expect her to tackle some more industry veterans in the months to come. Ha thanks and welcome to the diary. What is TNA without nostalgia? Also, in long run if TNA needs to compete with the big two, they need big stars at the front and what better than Beer Money and AJ Styles at the top of the company that they made it to what it is now after so many years.
  7. TNA Against All Odds 2024 - June 6th, 2024 Attendance: 2600 at Jaffa Shrine Center (Pennsylvania, USA) Commentary Team: Matt Rehwoldt & Tom Hannifan COUNTDOWN TO AGAINST ALL ODDS The Von Erichs vs Major Players Major Players have been taunting Von Erichs for their continuing losses in the tag series and Von Erichs challenged them to this tag match. Cardona and Myers started the match strong as they exploited the poor form and lack of confidence of The Von Erichs by isolating Marshall and keeping him in their corner working on his bruised ribs and tearing the protective bandage that he was wearing. A Radio Silence was dodged and Marshall lunged forward in a desperate move to tag in Ross. He cleared house and then hit a sick DDT to Myers on the floor before blocking another Radio Silence attempt from Cardona and hit the Iron Claw to Cardona to get the shock win. WINNER: The Von Erichs Grade: 56 TNA Digital Media Title: Jake Something (c) vs The Herald Something was on a mission, to destroy the Cult. While he had defeated PCO and Crazzy Steve in recent times, they were still around causing problems and were also part of the lumberjacks who awaited the two competitors whenever they would come out of the ring. Kazarian and Hendry were also part of the lumberjacks. Something started strong, delivering big clubbing blows to the masked leader and sending him out of the ring a couple of times. While he received blows from Kazarian, Hendry, and others, Herald was rolled back in pretty quickly both times. After a while, we saw a horde of white-robed druids coming out and they clashed with all the faces mainly Hendry and Kazarian and overpowered them before carrying their bodies outside. This startled Jake as he kept on sending Herald to outside but all lumberjacks now were on his support so he returned back every time unharmed. Jake got angry and went after Crazzy Steve himself but he didn't see Steve unveiling a fork on his trunks and stabbing Something multiple times on his arms and neck and Jake winced in pain. As he rolled back inside, a devastating Spear from The Herald meant we had a new champion and Cult of Doom had their 1st title to show. WINNER: The Herald (new champion) Grade: 53 MAIN SHOW TNA Knockouts World Title: Kamille (c) vs Nixon Newell While Kamille did not get many chances of defending her title ever since she defeated Trinity at Rebellion and again beating her in the contractual rematch, it was mainly because of the feud going on between Nixon Newell and Ultimate X winner, Thunder Rosa. These two had been at each other's throats ever since the Ultimate X took place at Rebellion and while Newell was badly injured by Cult, she came back and took them out and challenged Rosa for her Ultimate X shot but Rosa kept denying her and eventually the GM of Women's division, Gail Kim gave Nixon her title shot. The match started on an even note with both displaying their prowess and in the case of Newell, power as she lifted the much taller Kamille and hit a deadlift vertical suplex on her. A Vulture Culture Destroyer attempt was foiled though as Kamille rolled out and tried to create distance but Nixon went after her and that was the mistake as Kamille used her environment to inflict damage to Newell, slamming her face and legs multiple times on the steel steps and the ring posts before hitting a brain buster on the ramp. She was rolled back into the ring. breaking the referee's count which had reached to 9 and then Kamille hit the Spear to retain. WINNER: Kamille (defense #2) Grade: 56 While she was celebrating her victory in the ring, a bevy of smoke started coming through the tunnels and filled up the whole arena as it signaled the arrival of THUNDER ROSA!!! accompanied by Su Yung and Holidead made their way to the ring and laughed out maniacally. She now had a clear passage towards Kamille and the KO World title with no other distractions. Can we see them face off at Slammiversary?? Jordynne Grace vs Trinity The story between Trinity and Grace was a long one. They had their first match at Hard to Kill this year where Trinity overcame Jordynne in a very brutal match. While she lost, she hugged Trinity and they celebrated together. This led us to believe that we may have got a powerful duo in TNA which could change the landscape but after Trinity lost the title to Kamille, the cracks started to show. They tagged together and challenged Team 1 to 1 Million for their tag titles but once again they lost and although Trinity was the one getting pinned, she put the entire blame on Grace and this also led to both women's downfall as their animosity towards each other led to Deonna capitalizing and pinning Grace at Destination X last month for her STRONG Women's title. This was the last straw as we saw both of them raining punches on each other with Trinity throwing Grace off the stage and after many more such altercations, we were finally here. They avoided each other’s strikes in the opening minutes. Trinity hit some Speedball Kicks while Grace hit some hard overhand chops. Grace hit a powerslam for a near fall. Trinity hit a top-rope crossbody block. Grace hit a standing powerbomb, then she flipped Trinity overhead into a faceplant, and got a nearfall. Grace nailed a clothesline and remained in charge. She nailed a dive through the ropes. On the floor, she hit a Jackhammer! In the ring, they traded hard slaps to the face, and Trinity hit an enzuigiri. She hit a Split-legged moonsault for a nearfall. Grace applied a Full Nelson. She nailed a Muscle Buster for a believable nearfall and then Trinity applied Starstruck but Grace escaped. Grace hit some forearm strikes. Trinity nailed a jumping knee to the chin, then a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall. She re-applied Starstruck submission hold but Grace powered up to her feet. Grace hit a German Suplex and a spinning back fist, then the Grace Driver finally shut out Trinity. They were 1-1 now. WINNER: Jordynne Grace Grade: 51 TNA Knockouts World Tag Team #1 Contender: Subculture vs Team Canada 2.0 vs Bollywood Boyz All three teams were at the top of the ranking series having won 2 matches apiece. This was a pretty open match with all six getting the spotlight. Bailey and Young were most dominant in the closing stages of the match as Young hit a piledriver on Sihra but Andrews foiled the attempt. A second attempt went bust due to miscommunication as Bailey hit the Ultima Weapon but on Young who was dragged down by Andrews and bore the brunt of the move. A Stundog Millionaire on Bailey followed by Fall to Pieces on Young swung this in the favour of Subculture and they got the upset win. WINNER: Subculture Grade: 53 Ecstatic at their win, Subculture didn't wait and announced that next week they would challenge for the tag titles. The question was who would it be? We were all waiting for Deonna's opponent and it turned out to be BETH COPELAND!!!!! (f,k.a Beth Phoenix) STRONG Women's Title: Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs Beth Copeland The shock of seeing the artist formerly known as Beth Phoenix stunned Deonna as she was not expecting this and neither was the audience as the arena went gasping before the whole arena burst into cheers. While Beth hit Deonna with powerbombs in the initial stages of the match and capitalized on the dazed Deonna with further stretching of limbs, Deonna finally came to their senses as she reversed a full Nelson bomb attempt with a jawbreaker and then hit a standing moonsault. A Queen's Gambit followed but Beth kicked out at one. Angry, Deonna hit another Queen's Gambit and finally got the win. WINNER: Deonna Purrazzo (defense #8) Grade: 57 STRONG Television Title: KENTA (c) vs Chris Sabin The last time these two met was at Bound for Glory last year where Sabin successfully defended his X-Division title against KENTA. This time the tables had turned. It was KENTA who was defending his Television title against Sabin. Sabin took KENTA to the outside and dropped him face-first on the apron and hit a diving senton to take out KENTA on the floor. This flagged off a hot start. Sabin tossed KENTA back into the ring and hit a crossbody off the top rope to get the first nearfall of the match. KENTA tried to crawl out of the ring but Sabin grabbed him by his legs to stop him. KENTA bailed out of the ring so Sabin tried to hit a crossbody over the top rope but KENTA side-stepped it. KENTA rammed Sabin hard against the ring apron and threw him into the guard rail. The referee had counted to 8 but KENTA tossed Sabin back into the ring and then started abusing the fans. He had a little bit of blood coming from his mouth. KENTA hit a neckbreaker and covered for 2. He tried repeat pins but Sabin kicked out every time. He slapped on a sleeper hold and Sabin was grounded against the mat. Sabin slowly made it to his feet and used a jawbreaker to break the hold. He ran the ropes but KENTA ducked and locked the sleeper in again. KENTA took Sabin down to the mat with the hold cinched in. Again, Sabin was able to get to his feet and break free with an elbow to the ribs. The pace really picked up in the last few minutes. Sabin wanted the Cradle Shock but KENTA held on to the referee to avoid the move. KENTA rolled up Sabin and put his feet on the ropes but the referee spotted him. KENTA hit a DDT and went up to the top rope for a double stomp to the chest of Sabin. KENTA made the cover but Sabin barely got the shoulder up. KENTA called for the GTS but Sabin avoided it twice but KENTA clobbered him with palm strikes. Sabin fought back with a superkick. KENTA avoided the Cradle Shock again and then finally hit the GTS on his 3rd attempt to retain. WINNER: KENTA (defense #4) Grade: 40 STRONG Openweight Tag Title: The Pillars (c) vs Killer Elite Squad While Alexander's injury that he sustained a month back was hampering his movement, Maclin took it upon himself to control the pace as he showed immense power to hang Smith and Archer in Tree of Woe positions in opposite turnbuckle and then hit the Caught in Crosshairs to both. Alexander mustered enough courage to come back in the match but his back gave up when he attempted the C4 Spike on Archer and he took advantage as he sent Maclin out of the ring with a clothesline and he landed awkwardly on the apron injuring his shoulder severely. A Blackout on Alexander followed and we had new champions. WINNER: Killer Elite Squad (new champion) Grade: 43 TNA World Tag Team Title: ABC vs Beer Money Roode and Austin get things going with Austin easily taking Roode down to the mat and Roode is quickly frustrated. Roode tries some power instead but eats a sick enzuigiri to the jaw. Instead, Roode takes him down with a snap mare and the neck snap before Storm comes in with a Russian leg sweep for two. Off to Bey who hits the corner ten punch before Ace and Bey hitting Storm with tandem kicks. Everything breaks down for a bit with Beer Money picking Austin up and ramming him into Bey. Beer Money does their SHOUT OUR NAME bit before Roode backdrops Storm onto the entire ABC. Bey hits the jawbreaker before James come back with a Backstabber to put both Bey down. Austin misses a charge into the corner and the hot tag brings in Roode. Storm kicks Bey from the apron and then Beer Money crotches Ace on top, setting up the DWI and it was hit. Beer Money had won their record 6th title after 8 years. WINNER: Beer Money (new champion) Grade: 54 TNA World Heavyweight Title: Alex Shelley (c) vs AJ Styles Styles dominate Shelley in the early going, hitting him with some nice jabs. Shelley goes outside and Styles follow up with a beautiful springboard shooting star press to the floor. Shelley hit Styles with the flatliner and goes for a top rope leg drop but Styles dodges it and then hits a twisting dive on him. Shelley and Styles exchange blows now, and Shelley gets a near fall off a Blue Thunder Driver. Shelley hits Styles with a superplex and then hit the Shellshock. 1.............................. 2............................ NO! KICK OUT!!! Shelley is shocked. He hits some more kicks to the abdomen of Styles before hitting a double foot stomp and then goes for another Shellshock but Styles reverses it, Styles Clash!!! Shelley is knocked out. AJ does not stop here. He goes on the ring apron.... Shelley stutters but wakes up slowly, Phenomenal Forearm............. 1...................... 2......................... 3.......................... WINNER: AJ Styles (new champion) Grade: 62 SHOW RATING
