  1. If I recall correctly, it depends to some extent how full the game world is, and can differ from region to region. And they always generate at the start of a new month, I believe. So, setting it to very low over one month isn't likely to see much happen in most databases, I would suspect. I might be mistaken, though.
  2. If you give him an exclusively out of ring contract he should be okay, I believe.
  3. Yes, I'm pretty sure. The generic venues are made to fit the crowd.
  4. As far as I understand it: Active Wrestlers would be those people who are regularly doing in-ring work as their primary role, Wrestler should be set to "Usually", other roles might be "Sometimes", but probably not. Semi-active Wrestlers are those people who still get in the ring when necessary, but are generally not considered "full-time" wrestlers, usually veterans winding down their careers and the like. If they are involved in other parts of the show, they should have those roles. I'd probably go with "Occasional Wrestler" set to "Usually' for most of them, though in some cases, if they appear more in other roles like as a color commentator or personality, I'd set those to Usually instead, with Occasional Wrestler at Sometimes. Non-Wrestlers are people who are not trained in-ring performers, and whose primary role is not going to be to perform in matches. So, announcers, interviewers, referees, and so forth. This doesn't mean that they can't take bumps or be put into "matches". I think the broader categories mostly affect contract stuff (offering a contract to a non-wrestler or retired wrestler usually defaults to "Never Involve Ring Work", I think), while the roles are related to the pushes and so forth, but I don't know for sure.

  6. To add to this, Ohio Resident: "I can either go to a show in Detroit or a show in Pittsburgh, they're both about the same distance, but I hear more good things about the PA show. I'll go to that one."
  7. So, I remember seeing a post a long time ago explaining how the auto-push distributes push levels in rough percentages of the roster, but I can't for the life of me remember where or by whom. Does anyone remember those percentages (and/or know whether those still apply, as I believe that was for a previous version)?
  8. I believe to advance a storyline, there need to be at least two participants who have major roles "on screen", so match announcements with both people off screen don't count as storyline segments. Also, I believe that there the segments have to be a certain degree above the current heat level to raise it. And I think if the heat doesn't change at all for a certain number of shows it will start decaying.

I've pushed him to ME and my main title is middleweight and above. This guy is lightweight and can go as high as middleweight so I guess I'll just have to keep asking every month or so and hope for the best.<p> </p><p> Another question does anyone know the mechanics regarding selling and match length? My ME keep getting dinged for lack of selling. The workers I use have around c+\b- selling and the matches go for about 30/35 minutes.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm no expert, but I believe that may be one of the penalties that is compared to the overall match grade before the modifiers, similar to how the psychology penalty works (I think), which is, I believe, essentially the base match grade before any bonuses or penalties are applied, compared to the workers' psychology score (or in this case selling, I would guess), so my understanding is that if the overall grade of the match is higher than the selling, you'll get the "not enough selling" penalty? Unless there is specifically a penalty regarding selling that's related to match length that I'm unaware of, length should only factor in as it does with road agent notes, match aims, and the other things it works with in any given match, I think.</p>

When you click on "new deal for" there is an option for tour highlights. I don't see a way to select tour highlights when you edit the database, so it can be set up before you start a game. This doesn't matter to me at all, but I thought I should point it out.</strong></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> To make a tour highlight show in the editor, it's under broadcasting deals. I believe there's a dropdown box making the show a highlight show, which affects the level of quality (I believe it lowers the necessary level by an appreciable degree, but I could be mistaken).</p>

I am currently about a year into my real world TNA mod (with the most recent patch) and I was just checking out my HOF and I clicked the "Eligible Candidates" button and had no one. This didn't shock me, but I began looking around this website and google and couldn't seem to find an answer. I am running a yearly HOF Event where I induct someone into my HOF. Basically I will need someone to be eligible each year. I know you can just put anyone you want and at first I will do that (already added Jerry Lynn in the first year for example. He only had "3 x-title" reigns but due to his contributions to the x-division I figured it was appropriate.) I can do this for a few more years but eventually I want people to start earning it. <p> </p><p> <strong>So my question(s) is/are:</strong> What are the requirements or credentials needed for a worker to get into a promotions HOF? (Also, does size of the company affect needed requirements?). Also, If you already have a tag team inducted (Like Bully Ray and Brother Devon are in the TNA HOF), can I later add just Bully Ray as an individual if say he becomes "eligible"? Thank you in advance.</p></div></blockquote><p> I did a lot of messing around with hall of fame requirements for my personal database. I'm fairly sure that the requirements don't change based on size, as it's always company specific. You can indeed induct individuals into the hall of fame as individuals in as both individuals and part of a tag team separately. </p><p> </p><p> As to specific requirements, as I recall 4 or 5 Main Event level championships or twice as many (8-10) midcard/floating titles will make a candidate eligible. For tag teams, I think it's just 4 or 5 titles held is enough (I may be wrong, but I think each tag title held also counts towards individual titles held as well) . There's also the "headlining" of major shows (i.e. being in the main event annual shows), which grants a few percentage points towards completion. I don't think headlining gets you more than 15 or 20% of the way there, though (at 25 main events, which is the maximum you can add in the editor, I'm not sure if the game counts beyond that, or if that's the hard cap). And finally, being a figurehead for a consecutive number of years. 5+ years as figurehead guarantees induction. Of course, various combinations of these things will yield different results. </p><p> </p><p> For non-wrestlers, it's pretty much 1 for 1. Referee officiates 100 matches, Broadcasters call 100 matches, they are "key" players. Owners and bookers are based on who was the owner/booker when the company rose to Cult-size.</p><p> </p><p> I hope that helps.</p>

Has anyone used this yet and know exactly how it works? Do I just import the company again and the contracts go with it?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You need to have all the workers in the database, then import the company. As long all the people, pics, gimmicks, and move sets are all there, then the contracts are set up just the same.</p>
  14. Honestly, 2013 Golden is worth much more to SWF and USPW than TCW. Golden is probably one of your top National Battle assets though (unless you've stacked your roster with a bunch of A-list talent), so that's bad news. Also, I wouldn't say 66,000 a month plus the 10% bonus is necessarily "easily". I mean, that's a pretty sweet deal, and difficult to pass up out of loyalty alone.

For example, if I am ROH and I make a talent trade with PCW in which I give up wrestler X for 6 appearances of wrestler Y, it seems obvious that wrestler Y goes back to PCW after he makes 6 appearances in ROH. But when do I get wrestler X back?</p><p> </p><p> It seems like these are the possibilities:</p><p> </p><ol style="list-style-type:decimal;"><li>Wrestler X comes back to ROH after he makes 6 appearances in PCW<br /></li><li>Wrestler X comes back to ROH after wrestler Y makes 6 appearances in ROH<br /></li><li>Wrestler X's contract is straight up owned by PCW now<br /></li></ol><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Your worker still works for you while they are on loan. As long as your shows and the other promotion's shows don't conflict, there's no reason why they can't be booked on both shows in the same week/month/whatever.</p>

When I use the autobooker, I usually go over the card and make it conform to the product requirements, and tweak things I don't like.</p>
  21. Maybe I'm misinterpreting this, but how does one assign an alliance belt to a specific company while in-game? (It says this is possible when trying to assign a title to both a company and an alliance in the pre-game editor.)
