  1. I made it to Jan 2022 in my AWF save. Been having a ton of fun with it but my roster is completely different in a lot of ways. I'll run through my Champions quickly, there would be way too much to explain overall, but the save has been a blast. AWF World Champion- Derrick Romeo (5). Recently beat Timothy Hawk at the New Years PPV, cementing his heel run nicely. Have him leading a stable with Drake Richards as his mouthpiece, Omega & Boone as his lackies, and i got in Mykal Laamb (renamed him Giant Zuma) as the muscle. Hoping to eventually push Zuma as a main event monster heel but its waaay down the track. Romeo's next contender is Sharif Awar, who is getting over nicely too, but Romeo won't be losing just yet, AWF United States Champion- Tyshawn Martial (1). He is currently the longest reigning champion i have at 7 months. He beat Ebi Kadivar for the Title back in July and has held off contenders like The Fyre, Jesse Mills, Samoa Afasa (Leati Laukea) to continue to reign. He is a big time babyface for the company, and is currently feuding with Jean-Claude Giroux as a way for me to get him into the main event picture. I see him as a pretty big deal in the next 6-12 months as i aim for Large. AWF Television- Bryce Christensen (1). Bryce and team mate Chris Candell are feuding with former TV title holder Caleb Adonis. Truthfully, i needed the title off Adonis so i could move him up the card. He is rocketing up for me, he hit 97 SQ by putting on some mass and being ripped. He is a mega dimes heel in the making if i can improve his top row stats and Psych. But i am excited for his future when it comes to helping me eventually take down PWI. AWF Tag Team Titles- 24/7 Express (1). Ricky Binks and Zach Martin recently came into AWF and took down longtime champions Bollywood Knights. I have made a real effort to build the tag division with these 2 teams, ALPHA, Scott Nicholls and Nick Bell, Latin Males (Antonia Estes and Joey Perez), Omega & Boone just some of the teams i have under contract. Its been interesting booking the tag division, fills out a lot of my TV time. Loving the mod overall though, definitely my favourite way to play TEW now, its a shame this thread never seems to be posted in that often though, love to know how others are going!
  2. I have assembled one of the best C-Verse rosters in 2 and a half years with SWF, but as a result, USPW and TCW have made some truly bizarre booking decisions. I nabbed Nicky Champion off USPW about a year in, and he dropped the belt to Rich Money before he left. Fair call right? Well he held it for 6 months until he lost in in a multi man match to Tyson Baine. He is now 51, he barely wrestles except for PPVs and his physicals are truly awful, as are his matches. He's at 81 overseas, significantly less than Money, Enygma, Frehley etc, and the best match he had has been an 84 rated singles match with Running Wolf. They have built up Wolf a bit, but he loses every feud he's in and they haven't put the belt on him. Their roster is so bad at the top that I'm almost tempted to jump ship for the challenge of it. On the TCW front, they still have Hawkins, Andrews, Chord, Taylor etc. Are any of them world champion? Of course not. It's Freddy Huggins! He has been champ for 6 months with 2 defences. He's at 79 pop and he's honestly doing nothing, it's weird.

If so would he stay with the company or immediately quit?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I think there would be a family feud over the demotion for sure. I think Eric's bio even says he was made booker to smooth things over or something to that effect? But I think you could play it either way with him staying or quitting. If you wanted to make it into a big long term storyline with real life issues, you can edit their relationship and then book away. You'd probably also want to edit in a negative relationship with your character and Eric.</p>
  4. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="The Nickman" data-cite="The Nickman" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47520" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I don’t know, I keep flipping on this one. I want to give him three months off after being Buried Alive, and then possibly bring him back as part of Paul Bearer’s stable with Vader (and eventually Kane), but I take a large chunk of my top star power off the card if I do so.<p> </p><p> I need 5 good 70+ storylines every week and I occasionally struggle to hit that, which is why I currently have Austin/Owen and HBK/Bret in separate storylines when they really should be in the same one right now. Removing Sid is one more guaranteed 70+ storyline removed.</p><p> </p><p> So far, In Your House 15: Cold Day in Hell is shaping up thusly:</p><p> </p><p> WWF Title: Undertaker vs Vader</p><p> Tag Titles: Austin & HBK vs Bret & Neidhart vs Owen & Bulldog</p><p> Intercontinental: HHH vs Rocky Maivia (some kind of gimmick match, possibly Last Man Standing)</p><p> European: Shamrock vs Mero</p><p> Faarooq vs Goldust (WWF Title No 1 Contender)</p><p> </p><p> Not quite sure where to go with the tag titles long term either. I have a really crappy tag division (every other team is unimportant except Barry Windham of the New Blackjacks) and Vince won’t let me hire any experienced teams like LOD due to them being employed by a Medium or larger company. Don’t want to keep the titles on Austin & HBK probably past KOTR, but it’s gonna take some work to get it off them and move them down the card.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm more into your 97 save than my own! Seems like you have enough talent to me, its just using it effectively I guess! Austin and HBK need to stop being a team for sure. I notice that Mankind doesn't figure into your IYH 15 card, what's he doing, selling injuries? If you could have Mankind return after IYH 15 you haven't lost too much there, its just about whether Shamrock/Mero and Faarooq/Goldust are delivering with their storylines as they seem the most likely not to? How over is Rocky and HHH currently?</p><p> </p><p> Love reading your posts though man, keep em coming.</p>
  5. Pain Alliance is an interesting choice. Personally I'd use Golden to rub shoulders with young guys who are the future of the company. Scythe is a good option of course, there is in built history. I think you said Feb PPV was when Crippler beats Golden? Here's how id map out my next few Golden matches, assuming Pain Alliance and Scythe are involved. March PPV- Golden Vs Pain Alliance handicap match. Finally wins and gets them somewhat off his case. Hasn't forgotten about Scythe, challenges him to a casket match. April PPV- Golden vs Scythe. Could go a few ways here, I'd personally have Golden win but if you are willing to leave Golden off TV for a while, Scythe can milk this win for all its worth. It also gets you closer to SC40 if he's off TV. May PPV- Golden Vs Crippler in Steel cage. Stip being that if Golden loses, he can't challenge Crippler for the title again. This is assuming Golden beats Scythe. Do you want Golden to win the title back sooner or later? Whats your SC40 main event plan? Your dream match? I like drawing my stories out so I'd honestly find a way to not put Golden in the title match until Supreme Challenge.

Should it be clean, tainted, interference, or distraction and can you think of someone that would have a reason to help The Crippler or wanna damage Golden? or a good story</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You have to find a way for Golden to come out looking strong and having a reason to feud with someone else rather than going straight back to the World Title, assuming you don't want to hotshot it straight back to him. There's any number of heels on the roster but depends on how you want to do it. Atom Smasher always seems to have a reason to me, Golden is THE hero of SWF, Smasher is a hero gone rogue so to speak. I've talked about it before but always seems like a ready made character to target the big good guys. You could also do someone like Remo, although you'd want to save that for a big PPV most likely. Or you can do a brash young guy like Starr, Spade, Davids etc who thinks Golden will finally give them the attention and respect they deserve. Hope this helps and didn't go too ramblely.</p>
  7. <p>Just booked Welcome to the Jungle. Had Nicky Champion debut at the TV before to tell Remo he will be ringside to make sure ZWB gets a fair match. Behind the scenes, this whole feud hasn't really gone well. ZWB and Remo have bad chemistry, not awful, but still annoying. Then Champion debuted with a poor gimmick rating. Not ideal for the biggest babyface in the company right now with Golden on vacation. Seems like Golden will be keeping his top spot for now. Remo vs ZWB did an 80, which is about as well as I could expect. </p><p> </p><p> Meanwhile, the North American Title scene has been producing excellent matches, new champion Spencer Spade (just signed him for 10 years, then he came up with a new catchphrase) defended his title for the first time against 3 other men, Des Davids, who's obsession with the belt he lost hasn't stopped, Lenny Brown, the man who lost the NA title at SC40 and has obvious history with Davids, and El Mitico Jr, who showed he wasn't ready to be pushed around by Spade when Spade confronted him backstage at Supreme TV. Spade retained, and the match did an 85 in the middle of the card. Spade is pure fire, him and his manager have great chemistry, he delivers all the time, and is getting better. He probably won't lose the belt until the next Supreme Challenge because the heel side of things is still heavy at the top of the card, but honestly he is great. So are all these guys to be honest, Brown has gained 11 points to his SQ and is now at 85, and I still have promises from Remo and Golden to put him over. He goes into a World Title feud shortly with Remo but I don't think I can pull that trigger still.</p>
  8. my signing spree finally hurt me a bit today. Joss Thompson's USPW contract came up so I went for him, pretty strongly. Turns out after getting him on 120k a month, I see that he's in decline. His stamina since the start of the game has lost 6 points or so. His brawling is also going down, and now I have him for 4 years. Silly move on my part but USPW were bidding heavily on him too so i didn't think anything of it. Guess for the first year i can push him strongly and then maybe put him in a tag team or something? Still it hurts for that much money.
  9. I have definitely been seeing stuff like there here and there. The pop gains and losses can be real wonky at times and you get into the painful area of losing more pop than you can gain. I've been using protect and keep strong a lot more as a result, which does probably hurt my match grades but overall i'm still steadily building up pop. The Matty Faith thing is really interesting because he is having the exact same problem for me too. He's been in a secondary tag feud against Pain Alliance and he's been relatively strongly booked, but not strong that i've forced him. He's now unimportant and very cold. Masked Patriot isn't heaps better at cooled, but he's not fallen off a cliff pop wise. I'm really hoping Skull DeBones will start mentoring Faith soon, he has passed anything on since he formed that relationship. DeBones in storyline is aligned with Rogue but soon I may put Faith with him and hope it can rub off.
  10. Its interesting because USPW hasn't offered a single contract to one of my guys. I haven't had Golden or Remo come up, but they didn't offer Brown or Spade one, and they're mid 70s in the US and both are booked reasonably well. As I just wrote, they're feuding for the NA Title! Wonder why they haven't gone for my guys...
  11. I hadn't played for a couple of days due to life, but I finally got to progress a bit and can confirm I did steal Nicky champion from USPW. No idea what my plan is, but he will debut just after Supreme Challenge. I'm at the last TV before Supreme Challenge currently, just finalising a few things. Its a shame I can't have him come out right at the end of the show but alas, he looks like he might make the second TV after. Remo Vs Rocky is gonna be huge, both are at 91-93 range US wide. Remo is going to win, so I might send Golden off on vacation for a couple of months and debut Champion and get straight into Remo vs Champion. I have an owner goal to get Rogue to 83 US wide, he's currently at 82. Question to anyone that knows, does he have to be at 83 by the time it expires? Or is it just get it to 83 before it expires? Makes a huge difference because Rogue is 43, he's not declining yet but the owner goal expires in over a year. Basically i want to know if once he gets to 83 pop can i stop pushing him so much? I got Starr and Spade who could definitely do with being put over by him eventually. Speaking of putting over, Remo and Rocky Golden came to me in consecutive weeks to put over Lenny Brown. He is currently NA champ and on course to face Spade at SC40. He's at 77 pop. He is insanely over without any real help from me, and now the two biggest guys in the company want to get him to the next level. His SQ is only 79 so I am a bit doubtful if I want to pull the trigger, but he is improving and pulling out monster ratings in angles. Him and Spade pulled a 99 in my opening segment in last weeks TV.
  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Kijar" data-cite="Kijar" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="48167" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Any great proteges emerge in your game?<p> </p><p> Pablo Rodriguez just took Doctor Tecnico under his wing in my game and I almost... yep. I love that haha</p><p> </p><p> Earlier, Mikey Lau took my guy Marco Gonzalez under his wing, I think Shawn would be happy with that.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Skull DeBones to Matty Faith as a protege in his first week back at SWF. Honestly in my save Matty is gonna need the help.</p>
  13. Wow that is a big loss. I honestly think I'm gonna have Remo retain. He's just involved in better rated segments and matches than Golden is. Also and this is very dependent, Nicky Champion's contract just came up. I am currently offering him $340k to join us! Its an insane amount of money with all the perks thrown in, but can you imagine him and Golden at the same company?! Its Remo's perfect opponent, Hurts USPW massively too. I can also sustain the costs for now but the economy and industry is on the decline... Still worth it though? It does pose an interesting problem about the future of Golden. I've flip flopped from playing SWF to USPW to SWF saves from TEW 13, 16 and now 20. I think I like Champion a bit more than Golden. I have a better grasp on his character. But just to have both even if I eventually let Golden go would but fantastic. The rest of my SC40 card is building nicely too, but my roster is becoming a bit bloated. I've signed a few too many guys from Mexico. Velocidad and El Mitico jr are here as well as my previously mentioned Hijo Del Águila Americana (now Patriot Warrior in SWF). They're all so over so quickly in this save thanks to EILL's TV deal reaching US. I couldn't resist. I think once Joey Morgan, Brandon James contracts come up, they have to go. I got nothing for Morgan even though he's so good and James is in decline. The Crippler will also probably go by the time his contract comes up, or he'll be moved to road agent like Jungle Lord, who basically jobs occasionally. I also bought back Skull DeBones to be involved in the Scythe feud with Rogue. He's probably taking up too much cash but he's mentoring Matty Faith now, who honestly needs all the help he can get. I don't think he's ever going to reach his Dad's level.
  14. Oh wow, Golden at 84 as well?? That's rough. I don't see him mentioned very much but how's Joey Morgan doing for you? I feel like I should be doing more with him but he's totally lost in the shuffle for me. There's so many great people on the roster that just need a slight push and they could do so much.
