  1. Oh duh, I am dumb.

Narratives are scripted events that happen. Check out the mod's narrative section and there will be something that causes a huge drain. It has nothing to do with your show but everything to do with a pre-scripted narrative that the mod maker put into the game.

    edit: Found it:

This scripted event fired Tuesdaay Week 1, February 1993 to cause WWF an economic crash of 6 so it looks like that meant that 60% of your cash went poof.

Oh shit, things are a out to go south.

    Thanks for the help.

  3. They need to be winning against recognizable or better workers to build good momentum from what I've seen.

Seems like the simplest idea, but it didnt work for me. Randy savage was in a great tag team with Hogan and was managed by Cornette. I made them tag champs, I got them several title defenses and savage picked up several single matches wins over well known and recognizable guys.

But he was still ice cold. His tag team partner and and manager? White hot. Neither could do wrong. I pushed savage and hogan super hard for 3 straight months. They got the goldberg treatment.

I just couldn't get savage over. Hogan and cornette are major stars now. I sent savage to my developmental company.

  4. I'm struggling a little with the new push system. Im playing the 1983 mod. There's some guys that are flying through the ranks (my created guy, hogan, Jim cornette) but there are other guys who for the life of me I can not get over.

I made the mega Powers as a heel tag team and put cornette as their manager. I put the tag titles on them and gave them a ton of time each show, basically to showcase them. Great angles, they won almost every match. But Savage always had cool momentum. No matter what. I've put him in singles matches and he caught big wins over backlund and Tony atlas then at wrestlemania 1 he got the pinfall for the mega powers to beat the hart foundation . After mania I checked him and his momentum went ice cold.

I dont understand it. 2 huge wins, he gets the pinfall at Mania, always in great angles and he never went above unimportant in the fans eyes and never got any momentum.

Hogan on the other hand is a mega star in my company. Cornette is well on his way. How can a trio be so successful yet have 1/3rd of the group not get any of the benefits?

I sent savage to my developmental company. I didnt see the point to keep pushing a guy I cant get over.

    Anyone else running into this?

  5. Two questions.

My show prestige isn't going up. Royal rumble was at a 50% prestige, I scored a 65 on it and when I checked the prestige the next day, it was still at 50%. I thought all I had to do was beat the prestige level to gain more prestige? I've ran two ppv's and have had the same issue.

My 2nd question is about merchandise. I'm a level 4 right now. When I click the link, I dont see who my current leaders in merchandise and who sold the most last month. The right side of the screen is just two empty boxes. I'm finding this to be an issue because in January I sold almost 400k in merch, but in February I sold just under 200k. All of my guys hot more popular because of my shows. So I'm curious to see why my merchandise was cut almost in half. How do I fix it so those 2 boxes have text in them so I can track the progress of my guys?

  6. Can someone explain to me skills? I see two different numbers. I'm playing the Killing the Buisness Mod and I'm looking at Warhorse whose Brawling is 40-80. What can I expect and how do I figure?

If I understand the game correctly, you got to do more brawling matches to get an accurate number. So right now, you can expect a number between 40 and 80. But the more you play the smaller that number gets.

  7. Do you have monthly pay-per-views? If so, I'd advise you to keep going until the PPV and see how much money you get from that. $50k a day is only $1.4 million a month, and you can definitely get more than that from one PPV if you're big enough to have those kinds of expenses.

Yeah I got monthly. Rumble made me around 2.2 million I think. But this daily loss is bugging me. And I'm getting more popular every show so my next ppv might actually do better.

  8. Well first time I've ever had to ask this question, but I need help. I'm losing around $50,000 a day as the WWF in 1983. If I dont find a way to stop this bloodshed I'm going to lose my company. I know I'm not posting enough information, but I'll answer any question someone asks.

I have 2 weekly tv shows. One is an A show, one is B show. I have 2 broadcasters, 1 ppv and 1 commercial. Most of my guys are on exclusive written deals. I thought the expenses for the broadcasters and the written deals were due at the end of the month. But even so, 50k is a heavy price to be hit almost every day.

    Anyone got any suggestions?
