  1. Held my second Supreme Challenge and it went really well. The show kicked off with Gino Montero beating Randy Unleashed, then The Awesomeness won the Tag Team championship by beating Hawaiian Crush & C.B.A (Brandon James & Bear Bekowski managed by Krissy Angelle - Cat, Bear, Angelle). This will lead to the break up of Unleashed Awesomeness due to jealousy over their equal status & possibly tease a Bumfhole reunion. As I've mentioned previously my World Champion Chris Morrisette storyline led to Lobster Warrior, Jumbo Shrimp & Super Starfish reforming to make the Underwater (re)Union. Fresh off a loss to The Rat Pack, the (re)Union were targeted by The Inverted Trilogy (John Greed & newcomers Aldous Blackfriar & Hellion) and ultimately lost at SC41 in a match that ends the union. Jackson & Stranger will leave the company, Lobby will revert to Morrisette and the 48 year old might become a bit more part time. He's been a huge success for me though as he's 88-90 pop across North America, got a World Championship run and main event level feuds with Rocky Golden & Scythe. The launch of the SWF Network saw us debut an Intercontinental Championship at SC41 with a 6-man ladder match featuring Masked Patriot, Jungle Lord, Makutsi and the debuts of Apollo Prince, Marihito Masuko & Blake Belushi. Jungle Lord won just so the first champion would have some SWF name value. Belushi is actually retiring in a couple months so he's just getting a short run, Masuko is working on a handshake deal as he's involved with EX2010 & SAISHO and in a steep decline so I only intended on him being a Japanese attraction. Apollo Prince however looks really good, not sure why 21CW released him. Ernest Youngman debuted recently and targeted Joey Morgan (thank you to James The Animator for the suggestion). The match ended with a kayfabe injury for Youngman and scored 85 which I was stunned by as Youngman is only recognisable and doesn't have much pop in SWF, plus Morgan is in time decline. 'The Future' Matty Faith won the North American Championship in a Fatal-4-Way against Steven Parker, Des Davids & Champion Primus Allen. Remo defeated Lenny Brown, and Spencer Spade beat Rogue & ZWB in a triple threat. I brought in Sam Keith for the night, had him get attacked by Angry Gilmore leading to Matthew Keith vs Angry Gilmore with Keith scoring a massive upset win. I was suprised Gilmore agreed to lose as he has over 30 pop more than Keith but it was only a flash pinfall. Hopefully these two can engage in a proper feud now to finally raise Keith up the card. Hollywood Bret Starr beat Valiant in match of the night (95 rating). Starr does great business and likely wins a World title before the next Supreme Challenge. The crowd had started to burnout now, we had a 20 man battle royale won by Mainstream Hernandez just to get everyone else on the card and calm things down a bit. In my semi-main event, which I knew would be amazing as both of these have been on fire all year, Mikey Lau vs Jay Chord. Lau had previously stopped Chord from cashing in a title shot, the two then fought on Supreme TV in a #1 contender's match that was crashed by Scythe. They were supposed to have a Triple Threat at Times of Trouble but for reasons I'll get into next, Eric Eisen made an on-the-night change to a 6-Man Supreme Steel match (our version of Hell in a Cell). Scythe retained the World title and both Lau & Chord felt screwed. Chord was Eric's signing and the two have been close allies since he debuted almost year ago so the perceived betrayal deteriorated their relationship, and has sparked a huge feud between Chord & Lau. Lau won after a lengthy battle but it's sure to continue. And in the main event Rocky Golden faced Scythe for the World Heavyweight Championship. Golden had been feuding with Chord & Eisen since Chord's debut, and at Nothing To Lose they had a match with an Awesome Impact match spot (a TLC Money In The Bank match) for the winner. The loser however would not only miss out on that opportunity but would miss out on every opportunity as they would never get a World title shot again. Shenanigans led to Chord winning. Meanwhile Scythe won the World title, buried Chris Morrisette alive, had beaten a valiant Mikey Lau into a referee stoppage and then in a Casket match. In the build up to Times of Trouble, Scythe ChokeSlammed Eric Eisen through the announce table, contributing the the aforementioned Triple Threat. However on the ToT pre-show, Scythe would again attack Eisen but also the PPV sponsor Eric was showing backstage (some jobber I hired on a one-night deal). Panicked by the financial implications this could have Eric needed to get the title off Scythe immediately so changed the Triple Threat to a 6-Man Supreme Steel with Scythe, Lau, Chord, Remo, Valiant & Joey Morgan. When Scythe won Eric feared impending doom so he turned to the only man who had beaten Scythe 1-on-1 before; Rocky Golden. This furthered the divide between Eric & Chord but needing Scythe to lose the title he felt Golden was his best shot and ultimately proved right as Golden beat Scythe in the SC41 main event. This is probably the end of this save as I'm not sure I have enough ideas to continue it and I think I'll dabble in one of the COTT companies. However the one thing I know would be in the future is more Lau & Chord. Chord still has a MitB contract to cash-in so I think it's likely that Lau would finally win the World title only for Chord to cash-in and take it from him, building to Lau vs Chord part II at Supreme Challenge 42. I'd also love to bring Eric Eisen out of retirement, he's not in time decline and the Chord alliance has gotten him massively over. I think a match with Lau would do well, or even a face turn from him or Chord and do something there. If anyone reads this, thanks for getting to the end
  2. Oh I like that, I was wondering how I could work a feud with Morgan given it's too soon for Youngman to win so really pleased with that idea. Thanks a mil
  3. In the default CVerse I've signed Ernest Youngman for SWF in June 2021. I had no plan for him, and I try to avoid signings without one but TCW tried getting him which I couldn't let happen. So with Supreme Challenge coming up I have to debut him soon but not sure how. He'll be Heel, and since PSW were on WrestleWorld he's already immediately defaulting as Recognisable with pop ranging from low 40s to low 50s. The babyfaces with nothing planned as yet for SC41 are: Joey Morgan - Star Lenny Brown - Well Known Kelly & Lance Martin - Well Known Dallas Cowboys - Recognisable Masked Patriot - Recognisable Jungle Lord - Recognisable Matthew Keith - Recognisable Also any suggestions for renaming him or leave as is?
  4. Went back to an old SWF save after a long break, very happy to get not only my highest rated PPV so far, but my two highest rated matches also. I was genuinely surprised by Mikey Lau vs Scythe getting that score. Lau put up huge numbers in his prior feud as an underdog against Remo and he's now #4 in my franchise players list below Chord, Golden & Remo. My plan is for Scythe to hold the belt right up until Supreme Challenge 41 against Rocky Golden but I may have to change that and strike while Lau is this hot. Elsewhere, Rocky Golden has been feuding with Eric Eisen's prize signing Jay Chord since his debut. Golden cannot beat Chord who keeps finding a way to win. At Nothing To Lose Eisen announced that if Golden lost again he would lose his spot in the Awesome Impact Match (my MitB-TLC match). Plan is for Chord to win and cash in his shot on Golden sometime after Supreme Challenge but that might change. Joey Morgan won his spot in said match; Angry Gilmore moves one step closer to a heel turn manipulated by Kristen Pearce. Kristen dumped Avalanche, took on Mainstream Hernandez and they set out to break up her sister's marriage to Gilmore. In a Loser Leaves The Family match at When Hell Freezes Over, Hernandez got a shock win and the loss is sending Gilmore into a spiral. I'm going to have Gilmore sign divorce papers in the ring (if I could get Jessie back for a night I would have her there to drive it home); go after Remo seemingly with a death wish and finally embrace the anger but turning on Valiant or Lau. Previously, booking The Crippler's journey from losing a World Championship opportunity to face World Champion Chris Morrissette & finally a Lobster Warrior Underwater Reunion was one of the most satisfying things I've done in this game but this Gilmore turn & rise of Mikey Lau should be fun.
  5. Sorry if answered, had a quick look but couldn't find it. Is it possible to edit the status of someone who has left the business to bring them back or can that only be done in the database before starting a save? I'm just looking to bring Jessie back for a one-off angle but not sure if it can be done.
  6. Anyone know if the Welcome to the Jungle battle royale was put back in for updated versions of the game? I do the same with a Jungle Rumble title shot at the next PPV. I also create an Awesome Impact match which is an 8-man TLC MITB match. I like to envision the winner has an Awesome Impact Championship which he holds until he trades it in for his title shot.
  7. Those FFW belts are brilliant, makes me want to try that idea even more
  8. I've asked elsewhere to no avail but will check in to see how you guys are all faring in getting over low/zero-pop wrestlers? They seem to hit the 20s then stall completely for me even if they're being featured with stars. I've used Deever Arnold regularly since February; in June he had 26 pop, in November he only has 31. In that time he has had 20 matches on TV or PPV and is 7:13. He would be higher but the wins don't seem to help him so I'm reluctant to have him go over much despite being Red Hot somehow. Brett Biggins is his tag partner, is Ice Cold, dropped to Unimportant and his pop hasn't changed at all since March which is also when the Dynamite Duo were formed. Matthew Keith debuted in June, is 9:12 and regularly featured in angles with Recognisables & Well Knowns. A lot of his wins are tag wins involving much more popular people on both sides but in November is only on 24 pop. I can get people in the 40s & 50s over no problem but having huge difficulty in getting unknowns to that point and it's making me hesitant to sign indies & call up from development. It seems the "being on TV" pop boost cuts out pretty early imo and I'm struggling to get past it.
  9. Posting it there now, intended on it anyway but was a bit tight on time.
  10. <p>Wait...what? I had a look at their 3 other shows and they are all being rated entirely on Jack Bruce's angle. 81, 88, 52 cos he wasn't on it, and this one.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="kanzen.png" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/pvy9rwV/kanzen.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  11. Is it normal to get a basic death announcement for a 44 year old? Eddie Peak just dropped dead and there's no reason given as to what happened.
  12. I don't really like Remo as the choice because, while they were both heels for the duration, they were competing for the World title over a similar period and likely locked horns at times. I also feel like Eric would begrudge Remo being more successful than him. I get people don't like Davids but imo he makes the most sense, otherwise you're probably looking at an outsider (I signed Jay Chord and intend on utilising him in a similar role). Rogue could pull it off too but at 43 I think it would be good as a wiley veteran move where he'll do whatever it takes to be champion again. Basically it should be Rogue manipulating the situation for his benefit rather than Eric choosing him as a corporate champion. Has anyone talked Eric out of retirement? I liked his in-ring character and he isn't in decline in my game so I'd love to have the option of using him for big occasions like HHH or Shane McMahon.
  13. Very happy to reach that milestone. Under Control had a Fatal-4-Way #1 contender's match between Crippler, Scythe, Lau & Remo - Scythe pinned Lau to win. Crippler tombstoned GM Eric Eisen to turn face followed by a bit of Austin-McMahon treatment and finally he put his career on the line to make it a Triple Threat against Scythe & Des Davids. Next stop is the Buried Alive match and then the Underwater (re)Union should ring in the new year. Quite like this idea. USPW were my main company in 2016 and so far this does feel too similar to where I went with it. In fact I'm not even sure if Buried Alive will work on the current product, I know Steel Cells don't.
  14. Any tips for building very low pop wrestlers when they're new to a big company? The "being on TV" rub doesn't seem to be as big in this game compared to 2016 and it's taking me months to get anywhere. Playing as SWF, Matthew Keith got to 17 pop really quick but only gained 5 more pop in 3 months since. Deever Arnold got to 26 pop by June, it's October now and he's only gotten 4 more. It's so much lower than SWF's lowest guy at game start and I've seen too many inconsistent win/loss gains & losses to be confident in taking too many risks. It's also stopping me from calling other wrestlers up and signing guys from the indies until I sort it out.
