    Can someone explain the logic behind the "Keep Strong" note hurting the match rating?

    <p>I guess in a way you can look at it through intent in booking? When you go out of your way to book someone strong even though they're losing. Your focus is building around that mindset. Instead of focusing on how to get the winner over. You're making sure your bigger star isn't looking too weak.</p><p> </p><p>

    In a normal, "Get them over through a great match." scenario. Let's say you do a Roman vs Lee singles match. If the intent is to have a star making performance for Lee. You may book it to be this back and forth, hoss fight. </p><p> </p><p>

    Roman is still getting his stuff in naturally. But Keith is right there with him giving it back just as good. Lee wins, Roman didn't look like a chump because it was hard fought until the end. And Lee just went at it with one of the biggest stars in the company. That's a great look for him.</p><p> </p><p>

    If you do the same match up, but spend too much energy in making Roman look strong against Lee. You still have Lee win. But the struggle and, "everything and the kitchen sink." comes into play. Lee has to throw his entire soul into keeping Roman down lol And hardly looks like he's on equal playing field. He wins, but it doesn't have the same impact if it felt like he was closer to Roman's abilities. </p><p> </p><p>

    Roman gains very little because he's an already made man versus a guy who is trying to prove himself, but barely clinched victory. </p><p> </p><p>

    That's one example. But I make up scenarios that way lol</p>

    Incredible mod and will end up being my go to RW for sure. With the sheer size of some of these RW mods, workers can be either neglected or not represented quite correctly by stats. Which is understandable when you see the amount of work modders have to do.

     

    But since I only play a select few companies. This makes me so happy and excited. lol Thank you!

    What a kind thing to do :) Thanks for even thinking of us. I hope you are rewarded tenfold in the future.

     

    I was a kid during the apex of wrestling. So I only have vague memories of popular stars and a few key moments. I took a hiatus in the early 2000s and honestly thought I would end up permanently staying away.

     

    It'd be 2013 when wrestling grabs me again and quickly becomes a highlight of my week. And I can thank one talent for that: Daniel Bryan. I may be cheating here a bit and it's fine if my post doesn't count. But watching Bryan's rise and journey to WrestleMania 30 was a complete pleasure.

     

    That run was immensely frustrating, exciting and satisfying. I knew nothing of Bryan back then. Majority of the roster were new to me. But I was quickly taken by him and NEEDED to see him make it to the top lol He represents the door back to loving wrestling again and a time period I was at peak fandom.

     

    So yea, Bryan's rise holds a special place :D His title win at Wrestlemania 30 is my favorite moment ever.

    I've been periodically stalking the forums and looking out for journal updates. I'm so tempted to start a 2016 save, but holding off. We possibly only have a month to go so I'm trying to hold strong.

     

    I'm genuinely excited to see the evolution of this game I sunk so many hours into. I haven't done an AEW save yet because I wanted the company to find its legs and get a feel of the characters. Im a sucker for real world mods so I'm hopping on that asap.

    I haven't really explored the default universe. I'm mostly comfortable with or more inspired by real world mods. And when I do explore outside of that, I usually download a mod with the C-verse look that appeals to me(Rockverse for example.)

     

    I hope to finally start and stick with a a default universe save. There's so much history I've missed coming in so late into the series with TEW 13. So I won't know exactly what changed like many others. But I'd love to learn some of the lore at least.

     

    Oh, and I want to finally get far into a R2G without constantly starting new saves :p

     

    A potential diary would be fun. I enjoy writing out angles and such. But I feel a bit silly just doing it for myself lol

    I downloaded the file but when I go to install it and play the file comes without data and other times asks for a password I do not know what to do whenever I downloaded the mods of landex did not give error, this is giving.

     

    I don't quite know how to replicate your issue. So try this if you haven't.

     

    Rename the downloaded file from this: TEW2016(2).mdb

     

    to this: TEW2016.mdb

     

    And see if you can install the file like you usually do?
