  1. It is being worked on, an announcement with some early screens and game name should be put up soon. It slowed a bit with some recent family issues, but should be picking up shortly again.

Take the time you need for the family. Some of us (maybe just me) have been waiting a decade for Title Bout so it's not going to hurt for you to take your time with it and make it right. Your interest in the project has really shone through and I'm excited to see what you come up with!

I considered doing so because even when we get ThunderVerse for 2020 it's always nice to have "historical" fictional mods too... but I know time would probably kill any attempt on my end solo quickly. Wouldn't mind helping here and there if someone else was started though.</p>
  3. I can only see the small bottom one and on a regular PC it's really not in the way of anything. I usually hate banner ads but I don't find this one to really be in the way.

Not sure what this'll be like for mobile users though. I imagine on a smaller screen it's pretty annoying.

EDIT: I have now seen the bigger square ad in the bottom left. This one is definitely more invasive.

  4. I agree and have had issues with this before. How I get around it now is to do video packages; on night one as a preview of night two's matches, and on night two it's a recap of the previous night. That way everyone is on the card even if they're not actually on the card. But a proper option for this would be very welcome.

This is a great work-around so thanks for this. The OP's suggestion would still be very welcome though. As someone who primarily watches NJPW I always wondered why the 2 night event wasn't integrated that well into the game.

  5. For those who play New Japan saves, what's your favourite real world mod?

I really enjoy Mammoth's "Shifting Sands" because it starts in January 2006 and allows you to get started by planning out your Wrestle Kingdom 1 in January 2007. It really is a great time to start.

That being said, I'm thinking about trying a NJPW save in another mod. Wondering what everyone's favourites are and why.

  6. Oh wow. That looks way different. Not sure if it'd be a double post but maybe throw your suggestion in the suggestions thread. It looks like there's a huge amount of space in the middle of that screen... I can't imagine it'd be too difficult to add a column to that screen that calculates title length.

I think it'd be great since the title standard in wrestling tends to favour title length as opposed to defences like in MMA or boxing. I could tell you how long CM Punk held the title for (for example) but I couldn't even tell you what one real world wrestlers title defence number is.

  8. The majority of the work now is just bios and belt histories which is the most tedious part of the mod.

Hey MHero! Are title histories going to have title defences included or is it going to be the usual "unknown" value? This is something that I usually do for the companies I play as by accounting for their schedule and how often the titles are likely to be defended... helps me keep track of how dominate a title run was.

I'd hoped TEW would actually switch from 'title defences' to 'days held' on the history screen ever since TEW 2013 because it'd mean less work for the modders but here we are.

Anyway, regardless, I'm super excited for this to release and I'm happy you and the team haven't rushed it out. As someone who usually plays Japan I'm very intrigued by the All Japan picture.

  9. I'm not sure if WMMA will ever get another update but I would really like functionality to streamline fighter record histories. I've long wanted to create full histories for the C-Verse and a few real world mods but the current process is horrid.

What I would suggest is allowing the mod editor to add record histories for each character somehow. For example, if I click on Hassan Fezzik I should get a screen much like the 'quick add entire show screen'. Instead, it would be a 'quick add entire fighter history' screen.

All you'd have to do is select: their opponents (as usual from the drop menu) or write in a local name, the match result, round, method, write in time, select event (from drop down or write in).

Writing histories character by character would be so much more efficient in my opinion. Especially when filling in local histories.

  12. Hi all! I'm looking to try out a Lucha fed for the first time (CLLM in the ThunderVerse to be exact) and I'm looking for any useful tips.

I haven't watched a ton of Lucha but I've done some research and think it'd be a lot of fun to try out. I think I'll manage okay but I mainly wonder how people approach mask or hair matches in the game? I know unmasking or cutting hair can make people angry backstage or completely demoralize a worker... sometimes CMLL has multiple lucha de apuesta matches per year. How would you simulate that without always dealing with angry workers?

Any other tips would be useful. Figured this could be a good reference thread for anyone in the future wanting to try lucha.

  13. There will be times where you may not see me post new renders in here for a while, depending on what has my attention render-wise, but rest assured I will work through the requests I have. Basically, don't lose heart if there is a while between uploads :)

Absolutely understandable London. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that we appreciate the work you put in around here. When and if you get to it, you do, and it'll be excellent.
