  1. Finally sent mine in! Sorry I didn't see this sooner. And from my understanding, each round we send in 5 new picks correct?
  2. Does anybody have tips for building a well-balanced pack of venues? My goal is to make enough venues where every region has enough variety, but I'm not sure what I should consider when going about this. Like for example, I want to avoid the problem of big companies consistently selling out OR failing to sell out. And I want to avoid smaller promotions from overspending. To summarize, anybody got tips? Lol
  3. I would love to participate in this! Sounds very unique, very fun.
  4. Planning on rebooting my old Thunderverse diary, it's an idea I keep coming back to and now that I'm at a happier point in my life, I'd like to take another crack at it. Just a quick question about formatting though. I've requested access to HTML, so I'm just waiting on that. But does much of the same old code still work? Or will I have to re-write my old code?
  5. I would love to be added! I used it in my previous dynasty and it appears to have broken since then. Would like to use it in my next one.
  6. What happend to your hxrrxr professional wrestling diary?

  7. Ohhh! Is there a rough estimate to how many points the worker would get from 1-10? My goal with this specific case is just to give them a small little boost, but I'd like to know about the rest in general.
  8. Question about narratives. Does this mean that the worker in question will get a five point boost? For example, going from 20 to 25 in all of the mexican region? Just trying to make sure I understand this.
  9. Sorry for the delay in posts. Last two weeks were pretty busy. Hoping to get the next show up sometime this week!
  10. Thank you! I appreciate that. I'm having a lot of fun with it so far, hoping to get the next show out within a day or two.

However, they are going up with the more experienced team of Tango and Tear, the duo known as Dreamscape making their debut for Create Magic.</p><p> </p><p> Tango and Touchdown started off the match for their respective teams and at first Touchdown wasn't sure what to make of Tango, but some encourgament from Slugger Longball encouraged him to get into the collar elbow lockup. Tango and Touchdown did a nice lucha libre sequence, lots of dropdowns and arm drags, with a surprise hurricanrana catching Tango off guard.</p><p> </p><p> As Touchdown celebrated, getting a little too fired up, Tango snuck up behind him and got him with a schoolboy. After a quick kickout, Tango would get the upper hand with a spinning back kick to the stomach sending the footballer to the ground, clutching his stomach. Tango hit the ropes and delivered a quick dropkick to the side of the head.</p><p> </p><p> Tango sent Touchdown to the outside, allowing for Slugger Longball to enter the ring. Slugger Longball put his fists up and told Tango to bring it on, but Tango tagged in his partner Tear, who slowly entered the ring. Tear took their time, moving rather mysteriously and obviously playing mind games with the former baseball sensation. The two finally locked up and Slugger Longball got the side headlock, but Tear quickly escaped out of it and got Slugger in a headlock of their own.</p><p> </p><p> Later on in the match, Tear and Slugger Longball were trading blows, but a swift right hand from Slugger knocked Tear on their backside. Slugger Longball quickly capitalized, throwing Tear into the corner and tagging in Touchdown. The two of them proceeded to do a combination of tag team moves as Touchdown hit a snapmare on Tear, allowing Slugger Longball to hit a low dropkick to his seated opponent. They quickly followed this up with a double shoulder tackle, hitting the opposite ropes and following it up with a double senton!</p><p> </p><p> Tear would quickly get the upper hand again as Touchdown would stumble after hitting the ropes, Tear saw their opportunity and quickly hit him with the good ol' kitchen sink. Tear would then hit the ropes behind Touchdown and follow up with a wild and unorthodox bulldog that sent Touchdown face first into the mat!</p><p> </p><p> As the match progressed, Dreamscape would trade quick tags and took turns working down Touchdown, who desperately tried to reach his corner. Tango at one point mocking him, crawling alongside him before hitting him with a double stomp to the back. Slugger Longball could do nothing but watch and try to rally the crowd up.</p><p> </p><p> Just as it seemed that Touchdown would be able to reach his corner, Tear suddenly pulled Slugger Longball off the apron and slammed his head face first onto the apron! Tear quickly hopped up onto the apron, much to the frustration of referee Josiah Crockett, and Tear came tumbling down with a rolling senton onto Slugger Longball!</p><p> </p><p> Tango quickly crept up behind Touchdown, picking him up and dropping him with a back suplex. Tear entered the ring and quickly seated themselves up on the top rope. Before Josiah Crockett could even utter a word, Tango quickly lifted up Touchdown for a powerbomb and Tear came flying off the top rope with a leg drop! Night Terror! Tango goes for the pin and secures the victory at 9:55!</p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>RATING:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> 42</span></p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>NOTES:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> Touchdown was really off his game. Touchdown and Slugger Longball had great chemistry when teaming together. This match got the show off to a strong start.</span></p><p> </p><p> <div style="color:rgb(15,153,188);font-family:Roboto;font-size:8px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:2px solid rgb(15,153,188);"></div></p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#0D89A9;">《 BACKSTAGE PROMO 》</span></span></p><p> <img alt="Fh3k48S.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Fh3k48S.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="EYDdjd9.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/EYDdjd9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong><span style="font-size:8px;">Dreamscape post-match promo</span></strong></p><p> Tango and Tear were caught by the cameras backstage, but Dreamscape didn't seem to mind. Tango invited the cameras to "step right up" and take a look at the winning team, something that the audience of Create Magic can expect to see a lot more of. </p><p> </p><p> Tango did most of the talking throughout this segment, meanwhile Tear just sort of made unsettling faces and creeped around their tag team partner. Tango invited the audience to sit back and relax, to get ready for the "greatest show on earth", a show that is going to leave anyone in their way in "a lot of pain and misery".</p><p> </p><p> Dreamscape declared their intentions to be the top team in Create Magic, and assured all their "fans" that they would stop at nothing to provide them with only the finest in entertainment. The promo ended as Tear suddenly pulled Tango aside, and lunged at the camera, biting the air as the feed went dark.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>RATING:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> 40</span></p><p> </p><p> <div style="color:rgb(15,153,188);font-family:Roboto;font-size:8px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:2px solid rgb(15,153,188);"></div></p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#0D89A9;">《 THREE WAY BOUT 》</span></span></p><p> <img alt="dIRGwmQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/dIRGwmQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="5iO6bSE.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5iO6bSE.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="uronxIc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/uronxIc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="5iO6bSE.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5iO6bSE.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="9oASCqM.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9oASCqM.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong><span style="font-size:8px;">Disco Fox versus Sugarskull versus Buzzard</span></strong></p><p> The debuting Buzzard stood across from Sugarskull and Disco Fox, two competitors who impressed fans but ultimately came up short in the tournament to crown the first holder of the Cosmic Medal. All three men had a lot to prove, and this was a unique opportunity to do so.</p><p> </p><p> The bell rang and Sugarskull scurried over to Buzzard, superkicking the teeth out of his skull! As Buzzard hit the ground, Disco Fox came charging towards Sugarskull who side-stepped him... but Disco Fox hit the middle rope and came back with a nice arm drag, complete with a spin in mid-air! As Sugarskull made it to his feet, Disco Fox came running at him, only to be on the receiving end of a superkick from Sugarskull as well! </p><p> </p><p> Sugarskull didn't have time to capitalize as Buzzard threw himself back in the mix, leaping over the dazed Disco Fox and landed in a hurricanrana on Sugarskull! Buzzard hit the ropes and came running back towards Disco Fox who got him with a drop toe hold, following it up with a nice little disco dance on the back of Buzzard! Sugarskull comes back in, grabbing the hand of Disco Fox mid-dance and chopped him on the chest with his other hand. Sugarskull hits a corner arm drag, sending Disco Fox to the outside!</p><p> </p><p> As it came down to just Sugarskull and Buzzard, the two traded chops in the middle of the ring, really milking it up for the audience in the process. But an irish whip from Sugarskull sent Buzzard into the ropes, only for him to come back with a tilt-a-whirl DDT that sent Sugarskull rolling to the outside. As Sugarskull and Disco Fox regrouped on the outside, Buzzard came flying with a plancha taking out both men!</p><p> </p><p> Disco Fox and Buzzard rolled into the ring and continued the fast paced action as they hit the ropes back and fourth, only stopping the action to trade armdrags and headscissors. Eventually Buzzard gained the advantage, catching Disco Fox with a second rope springboard crossbody for a quick pin attempt.</p><p> </p><p> Later on in the match, Sugarskull inserted himself back into the mix by getting Buzzard with a missile dropkick to the back of the head, sending him tumbling through the middle rope. Disco Fox called him out for the cheap shot, walking towards him as he was scolding his opponent, only for Sugarskull to get him with another surprise superkick! They gotta start watching out for that damn kick already! Sugarskull shrugged, playing to the crowd.</p><p> </p><p> As Disco Fox found himself seated on the top rope, he attempted to fight off the attacking Sugarskull, but a boot to the face only knocked him backwards into prime position for him to get a running start as he jumped off the middle rope... and delivered a spinning back kick mid-air to Disco Fox! And he hit hard off the apron!</p><p> </p><p> Buzzard made his comeback sneaking up on a distracted Sugarskull and getting him with a surprise school boy! And as Sugarskull got back to his feet, he was met with a rolling wheel kick that caught him completely off guard! Buzzard grabbed the legs of his opponent, and flipped forward into a pin attempt only for Sugarskull to roll him forward into a pin attempt of his own... and a kickout!</p><p> </p><p> In the closing moments of the match, Sugarskull came charging towards the corner where Buzzard was positioned, only for Buzzard to get out of way just in time. Sugarskull used his momentum and landed in a backflip off the ropes... but Buzzard was right behind him! Reverse frankensteiner! Sugarskull bounced off his head and came up like a slinky before he collapsed onto his back.</p><p> </p><p> Buzzard climbs to the top rope, but a quick Disco Fox interruption stops him for a brief moment! Disco Fox has the leg, but Buzzard freed himself and proceeded to walk the top rope like a tight rope... following it up with a springboard shooting star press to Buzzard! He calls that the Soaring Splash! Buzzard picked up the win in 10:19!</p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>RATING:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> 37</span></p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>NOTES:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> The announcing quality lifted the match.</span></p><p> </p><p> <div style="color:rgb(15,153,188);font-family:Roboto;font-size:8px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:2px solid rgb(15,153,188);"></div></p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#0D89A9;">《 SINGLES BOUT 》</span></span></p><p> <img alt="efHrW3N.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/efHrW3N.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="5iO6bSE.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5iO6bSE.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="g6DW17k.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/g6DW17k.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong><span style="font-size:8px;">Hawaii Five-Joe vs El Hot Dog</span></strong></p><p> The sight of a man in a hot dog costume was uh... certainly something! But not something that fans of the Chicago wrestling scene weren't used to. The former Paragons of Wrestling competitor received quite a warm welcome from the audience at the Topdown Lounge. </p><p> </p><p> As for his opponent, he got a pretty decent reaction himself as he made his entrance to </p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="150" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/yQA7NN9vptU?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Jan Hammer - Miami Vice Theme (Miami Vice)"></iframe></div></div>, because of course he did! Hawaii Five-Joe made his way to the ring, clearly unsure of what to make of his opponent.<p> </p><p> Things got underway and Hawaii Five-Joe went for the traditional collar elbow hold, but the obnoxious costume allowed for El Hot Dog to easily escape from it. Hawaii Five-Joe went for another lockup, only to be double legged by the hot dog! What a sentence that is! El Hot Dog picked Five-Joe up by the legs, perhaps going for a boston crab or a giant swing, but Hawaii Five-Joe was easily able to fight out of it.</p><p> </p><p> At one point, Hawaii Five-Joe sent El Hot Dog into the ropes, only for El Hot Dog to catch himself in the ropes! In another world, one could say he was quite tranquilo in this moment. But not for long as Hawaii Five-Joe came charging in with a dropkick, sending the hot dog to the outside!</p><p> </p><p> As the match came to a close, Hawaii Five-Joe dragged El Hot Dog back into the ring and hit him with a move that he calls "Sting Operation", an inverted double underhook facebuster! As awkward as the hot dog costume made it look, it was enough to seal the deal as Hawaii Five-Joe got the win in 5:59.</p><p> </p><p> After the match, J.Q. McMoneybaggs exclaimed that he believes he found "just the person he was looking for" and excused himself from the table. As Hawaii Five-Joe was about to leave, McMoneybaggs stopped him at the curtain and whispered something into his ear. Hawaii Five-Joe took a moment to consider whatever was said, before nodding his head and leaving with J.Q. McMoneybaggs through the curtain. <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>(36)</strong></span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>RATING:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> 38</span></p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>NOTES:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> Hawaii Five-Joe and El Hot Dog have great chemistry and it showed in their performances.</span></p><p> </p><p> <div style="color:rgb(15,153,188);font-family:Roboto;font-size:8px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:2px solid rgb(15,153,188);"></div></p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#0D89A9;">《 BACKSTAGE PROMO 》</span></span></p><p> <img alt="ZNRzCAS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZNRzCAS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong><span style="font-size:8px;">Wing Commander Westminster discusses his upcoming match</span></strong></p><p> In front of a Create Magic backdrop, Wing Commander Westminster greets the fans watching at home and gives a special shoutout to those watching on the "jumbotron", live in the audience.</p><p> </p><p> He goes on to say that while HavoK was a tough opponent, he knows that he has an even tougher task ahead of him with Hobo from Hoboken, who he will be facing later tonight. Westminster explains that he's seen what Hobo from Hoboken is capable of doing, that he's willing to do whatever it takes, but that Hobo hasn't seen everything he's capable of.</p><p> </p><p> Wing Commander Westminster wishes good luck to his opponent tonight, shoots some finger guns towards the camera and tells the audience that he'll see them later.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>RATING:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> 40</span></p><p> </p><p> <div style="color:rgb(15,153,188);font-family:Roboto;font-size:8px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:2px solid rgb(15,153,188);"></div></p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#0D89A9;">《 COSMIC MEDAL QUARTER-FINAL 》</span></span></p><p> <img alt="xjB4TiT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/xjB4TiT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="5iO6bSE.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5iO6bSE.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="bamrfNs.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bamrfNs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong><span style="font-size:8px;">FinEATo versus Sky Panther</span></strong></p><p> A test of strength starts off this quarter-final match, with FinEATo gaining the advantage and squeezing the hands of Sky Panther with all his might! Sky Panther was brought down to his knees as he struggled to handle the pain, but did eventually make it back to his feet. Sky Panther jumped up into a monkey flip, sending FinEATo soaring over him!</p><p> </p><p> The two competitors made it to their feet, still clutching each others hands, until Sky Panther loosened his grip and followed up with a quick arm drag! FinEATo shot up to his feet, and a shoulder block sent Sky Panther into the ropes! Sky Panther came running back only for FinEATo to leapfrog over him, and as FinEATo rolled backwards, Sky Panther came back on the rebound once again and front flipped over his opponent.</p><p> </p><p> As FinEATo and Sky Panther continued trading reversals back and fourth, FinEATo gained the upper hand as Sky Panther leapt into the air with all the intention in the world of a leapfrog, only to come crashing down as FinEATo hit him with a reverse atomic drop! An elbow to the face and a bodyslam to Sky Panther got things started off just the way FinEATo wanted.</p><p> </p><p> FinEATo hit the ropes, springboarding off the middle rope and coming back with an arm drag that sent Sky Panther to the outside. Just as FinEATo was about to follow up with a dive through the middle ropes, Sky Panther used the apron to lift himself up and hit FinEATo with a swift kick to the face! Sky Panther used the bottom rope to pull himself in via a front flip, proceeding with a quick tornado DDT!</p><p> </p><p> Later on in the match, Sky Panther came flying off the top rope, aiming for a crossbody... but FinEATo catches him in his arms and rolled backwards! After standing up with his opponent in his arms, FinEATo slammed Sky Panther into the turnbuckles, turned around and got a near-fall with a falling powerslam!</p><p> </p><p> As the match came to a close, Sky Panther had regained the upper hand after a FinEATo went for his signature move, a single leg dropkick, after he was able to sidestep him and get him with a nice penalty kick to the face followed up with a standing moonsault! But that wasn't all, Sky Panther made sure to seal the deal after he ascended to the top rope and went soaring through the air, catching FinEATo with a stunner! Sky Panther picks up the win with a Slo-Mo Stunner in 9:46 and advances in the tournament!</p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>RATING:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> 42</span></p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>NOTES:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> FinEATo and Sky Panther have great chemistry and it showed in their performances.</span></p><p> </p><p> <div style="color:rgb(15,153,188);font-family:Roboto;font-size:8px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:2px solid rgb(15,153,188);"></div></p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#0D89A9;">《 COSMIC MEDAL QUARTER-FINAL 》</span></span></p><p> <img alt="ZNRzCAS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZNRzCAS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="5iO6bSE.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5iO6bSE.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="CqKvQp6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/CqKvQp6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong><span style="font-size:8px;">Wing Commander Westminster vs Hobo from Hoboken</span></strong></p><p> The match begins and the two competitors circled eachother before going into the lockup, with Hobo from Hoboken gaining the advantage when he went behind Westminster and got him in a hammerlock, following it up with a punch directly to the back of the head. Westminster attempts to shake it off, locking up with Hobo from Hoboken once again, but the street brawler is able to gain the upperhand once again and slams him on the back of his head.</p><p> </p><p> Wing Commander Westminster was sent into the corner with Hobo from Hoboken charging directly at him, but Westminster was able to counter and sent Hobo over the top rope and to the apron! But no! Hobo from Hoboken grabs the back of Westminster's head! He ran with Westminster all the way to the opposite turnbuckle at the end of the apron and bounced his head off of it in the process!</p><p> </p><p> Hobo from Hoboken was quite proud of himself, taking a moment to laugh at the crowd who responded to his actions with boos. This however gave Westminster enough time to dropkick Hobo's knees, sending him crashing to the floor. Westminster got the crowd riled up and went for a baseball slide, but Hobo from Hoboken pulled the ringskirt out and trapped Westminster in-between the apron and the skirt! Hobo began pummeling him with several lefts and rights until referee Tiny Jackson nearly disqualified him.</p><p> </p><p> At a later time in the match, Hobo from Hoboken continued his punishment of Wing Commander Westminster, getting a near-fall after a facebreaker knee smash followed up with a sit out neckbreaker. Westminster attempted to rally up the crowd, reaching his hand out towards the audience only for Hobo from Hoboken to stomp on it, crushing the hand between his boot and the ring mat.</p><p> </p><p> A surprise bulldog followed by a middle rope springboard moonsault started the comeback of Wing Commander Westminster, who was able to catch his opponent off guard. A series of clotheslines to Hobo from Hoboken got Wing Commander fired up, and as Hobo went to go for a clothesline of his own, Westminster dropped him with a spin out powerbomb!</p><p> </p><p> The two men began brawling back and fourth, fists swinging all over the place, and just as a quick uppercut to the chin of Westminster almost put him back in the danger zone... Wing Commander responds with a stiff enziguri! Hobo from Hoboken found himself draped over the middle rope, clutching the side of his head. But Wing Commander followed up his attack with a tiger feint kick!</p><p> </p><p> As Hobo from Hoboken was laid out near the corner of the ring, Westminster climbed from the apron to the top rope and rallied the crowd behind him! Wing Commander Westminster jumped, spinning mid-air and landed backwards on the top rope... quickly following it up with his signature moonsault! Westminster picks up the win via Formation Flying in 9:53 to advance to the semi-finals!</p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>RATING:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> 48</span></p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>NOTES:</strong></span><span style="font-size:8px;"> This match got the crowd hotter.</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:#0D89A9;"><strong>Overall Rating:</strong></span> 41</p><p> <span style="color:#0D89A9;"><strong>Post Show Notes:</strong></span> Attendance of 682 people. Missing Piece is hoping to gain some redemption after his first round loss, as he teamed with the debuting Puzzle. On the opposite side of the ring, the debuting team of Kurse and PaniK proved to be a tough task for their opponents. In Create Magic, tag team matches are contested under traditional lucha libre rules. When the legal wrestler of the team goes to the outside, their teammate may enter the ring and take their spot as the legal competitor. This is a fun way to keep things exciting and keep the action going, but it also allows the teams plenty of opportunity for unique strategies. The two teams immediately went at it, Kurse and Missing Piece charged at eachother, trading forearms back and fourth. PaniK and Puzzle quickly followed up, trading forearms as well. The Asylum sent their opponents tumbling to the outside and went to hit the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. But just as quickly as they hit the ropes, Pieces of The Puzzle came charging back in and superkicked both members of The Asylum! As PaniK and Kurse recovered on the outside, Missing Piece and Puzzle took them out with topé suicidas in stereo! Kurse and Missing Piece officially started the match off as the legal competitors, Missing Piece attempting to wrestle Kurse to the mat. Ultimately he came up short as the frantic wrestling style and lack of predictability of Kurse proved to be a match for the slower, more technical style of Missing Piece. However, Missing Piece eventually changed up his tune and started to wrestle a more chaotic style in an attempt to match his opponent. At one point, Missing Piece got a dazed Kurse stumbling in the direction of a second rope dropkick! But Kurse was able to shake it off, using his momentum to bounce off the ropes and come charging in with a dropkick of his own to the seated Missing Piece! And as his opponent rolled out of the ring, he had almost no time to get back to his feet as Puzzle came diving from the top rope with a massive crossbody! As Puzzle continued to have the upperhand, PaniK decided that he wasn't going to waste any more time and came charging into the ring! PaniK tackled Puzzle to the mat and start pummeling away at him, as referee Sam Bassett struggled to pull him off. Kurse got the attention of the referee and told him to watch as he hopped over the top rope and to the floor. Sam Bassett had no time to figure out if this was legal or not as Puzzle showed he wasn't going to back down, going right after PaniK! Later on in the match, PaniK went for a senton bomb from the top rope, only for Puzzle to get the knees up! Puzzle quickly capitalized, getting the tag from Missing Piece who came charging in and took out PaniK with a clothesline. But no! Missing Piece went to knock Kurse off the apron, but Kurse pulled the ropes down and sent Missing Piece tumbling over the top rope! Kurse and PaniK clearly had a plan here, as Kurse began to beatdown Missing Piece on the outside, PaniK pulled Puzzle back in the ring! The commentators argued over whether or not this was legal, but the referee allowed it. Puzzle found himself able to fight off PaniK, but Kurse hit the ring and the two attempted to irish whip Puzzle into the ropes! Just as Puzzle was about to hit the ropes, he came back with a massive springboard double back elbow! PaniK and Kurse were met with double superkicks from Missing Piece and Puzzle, with the kick from Missing Piece to PaniK hitting so hard that PaniK fell through the middle rope and out to the floor. Pieces of The Puzzle shared a nod, and Missing Piece hit the ropes and took out PaniK with a tornillo! Puzzle picked up the dazed Kurse into a fireman's carry, spinning around and around before dropping him with a massive jawbreaker! Kurse shot up into the air before hitting the mat as he felt the effect of the 100 Piece Jigsaw Jawbreaker, and Puzzle picks up the win for his team in 10:23! RATING: 33 NOTES: This match got the crowd hotter. This match got the show off to a strong start. <div style="color:rgb(15,153,188);font-family:Roboto;font-size:8px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:2px solid rgb(15,153,188);"></div> 《 SINGLES BOUT 》 Leo Kravan versus Slugger Longball Slugger Longball obviously had a very tough, very tall task ahead of him. But as the match began, he tried to have a little fun with Leo Kravan, running circles around him just to prove that he could. A frustrated Leo Kravan grabbed him by the head and threw him face first into the mat, before stepping on his back and flexing. Leo Kravan dominated most of this match, spending most of the time just punishing Slugger Longball. A few bodyslams and powerslams, all sorts of slams that sent echoes throughout the Topdown Lounge. Slugger Longball did get some offense in, even going for a few dropkicks to the shins in an attempt to take the big man down... but Leo Kravan would always get the best of him! The commentators made a note on how Leo Kravan seems to be incredibly focused this time around, not allowing the unorthodox style of Slugger Longball get the better of him, unlike his previous match with FinEATo a few weeks back. As Slugger Longball seemed to realize just how much danger he was in, as Leo Kravan stood above his fallen opponent as he struggled to get back to his feet. Slugger Longball came in with a series of strikes, a few chops that he immediately followed up with some stiff elbows. But ultimately, Leo Kravan grabbed him by the throat and hit him with a chokebreaker! Leo Kravan puts one foot over Slugger Longball and gets the win in 5:12 after the move he calls "Craving The Hunt". Sky Panther spent the beginning hyping his tag team partner up, but the realization does set in that the team of Slo-Mo Dojo could very well become opponents in the Cosmic Medal Tournament. They both assure eachother that no matter what happens, they're still best friends and nothing could change that. If it comes to it, then so be it! They agree that they'll give eachother all they got, but first! El Scorcho needs to focus on beating Special FX tonight, quite a tough task. "Isn't it weird that you're getting your quarter-final match before I get mine?" Sky Panther asked. "Huh, must have been a booking oversight! Booyah!" replied El Scorcho, as the teammates fist bumped and ran off screen. RATING: 44 <div style="color:rgb(15,153,188);font-family:Roboto;font-size:8px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:2px solid rgb(15,153,188);"></div> 《 COSMIC MEDAL QUARTER-FINAL 》 El Scorcho vs Special FX The beginning of this match started off very much the same way as Special FX's previous match. El Scorcho attempted to get the upper hand by delivering various kicks to Special FX, but the kicks didn't seem to bother him all that much! El Scorcho hit the ropes, came flying in with a few dropkicks that would make Special FX stumble a bit, but not much else! El Scorcho put his hand to his chin and thought for a moment, before reaching to the sky in an attempt for a test of strength... but just as Special FX went to grab his right hand, El Scorcho hit him with a swift kick to both shins, sweeping out his legs from underneath him! Scorcho quickly capitalized, putting him in a headlock, and the match officially got underway. Special FX at one point got El Scorcho into the corner and lit him up with machine gun chops, nearly caving in the chest of his opponent. El Scorcho was able to fight him off though, a surprise knee to the face caught the robot off guard. Scorcho climbed to the top rope and a huge flying headscissors sent Special FX rolling to the outside. Scorcho attempted to capitalize with a dive to the outside, but seemed to catch his foot on the middle rope and ended up landing in the arms of Special FX. Just as El Scorcho realized how much worse that could have been for him, nearly hitting the ground head first... Special FX transitioned into the powerbomb position and sent El Scorcho into the ringpost! In the closing moments, El Scorcho and Special FX began to duel with forearms back and fourth, but another jumping knee strike to the face caught Special FX off guard! El Scorcho hit the ropes and took Special FX off his feet with a jumping calf kick! Scorcho quickly got positioned in the corner, ready to strike, and took out Special FX with the Torpedo Headbutt for the win! El Scorcho advances via Bullet Time in 8:50. RATING: 30 NOTES: The bout dragged in the middle, with a lack of flow being noticeable. El Scorcho seemed off his game. This match did its job and gave the crowd a breather. <div style="color:rgb(15,153,188);font-family:Roboto;font-size:8px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:2px solid rgb(15,153,188);"></div> 《 THE COMMENTARY DESK 》 Gold Plated, J.Q. McMoneybaggs for what he's brought to the table with Create Magic, meanwhile Gold Plated harped on him for kissing up to the boss. J.Q. McMoneybaggs is just happy to be there, taking in the compliments and having a good time as he promises a great main event tonight. The mysterious masked man who was spotted back at "Laying The Foundation" could be seen lurking in the crowd, right behind the commentary desk. Papa Estándar refused to speak until the crowd "ceased with their negative energy", something that only got them more and more riled up, responding with a chorus of boos! Papa Estándar eventually got frustrated enough to the point that he began to explain to the audience that "in due time, you will listen to my every word!" "In due time, I will speak not of the good word... but of the greatest word! The word of Papa Estándar, and I will have each and every one of you in the palm of my hands! You will be begging me, begging Papa Estándar to tell you all what you need to hear, and I will remember each and every one of you!" he shouted at the audience, who continued to boo him. "I will remember the disrespect I was shown here tonight, and when doomsday comes for you, I will not spare any of you ungrateful simpletons!" ... Suddenly... hit and the crowd went wild! ... It's Super Croak! Super Croak hit the ring, much to the dismay of Papa Estándar who demanded to know the meaning of this! He's shouted all sorts of things at Super Croak, threatening him in the process. But Super Croak seemed totally unphased, casually opening the can of Croaka Cola in his hand and offering it as a peacemaker. Papa Estándar ponders for a moment, and just as he looked like he was going to accept it... Papa Estándar smacked the can out of Super Croak's hand! And the two began brawling! The match hadn't even started yet! RATING: 41 NOTES: This angle got the crowd hotter. <div style="color:rgb(15,153,188);font-family:Roboto;font-size:8px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:2px solid rgb(15,153,188);"></div> 《 COSMIC MEDAL QUARTER-FINAL 》 Papa Estándar versus Super Croak The official for this match, Tiny Jackson, hit the ring and got things underway. Super Croak managed to deescalate things by getting Papa Estándar in a side headlock. The two competitors backed up into the ropes, but Papa Estándar managed to fight him off and send Super Croak charging to the opposite side of the ring. As Papa Estándar got ready to capitalize, Super Croak jumped over him with a leapfrog and immediately locked in another side headlock! A bit later on in the opening moments of the match, Super Croak led Papa Estándar on a chase around the ring, much to the delight of the audience who quite enjoyed the cat and mouse game the two were playing. Papa Estándar thought he got the best of Super Croak as he got in the ring first, and just as Super Croak was about to re-enter the ring, Papa Estándar went for a leg drop! But oh no! Super Croak ducked back out and Papa Estándar hit the mat hard! Super Croak continued to have his fun, but eventually Papa Estándar was able to gain control after his opponent spent just a little too much time showboating to the crowd! Papa Estándar was able to hit the distracted Super Croak with a solid german suplex, following it up with a penalty kick to the chest that seemed to knock the wind out of him. Later on in the match, Super Croak was hoping to make a comeback after a series of leapfrogs, leapfrog after leapfrog as Papa Estándar kept hitting the ropes. Papa Estándar eventually figured out that this wasn't going to end anytime soon and played possum, allowing Super Croak to leap over him one final time as Papa Estándar quickly capitalized with a dragon suplex! Super Croak did eventually begin his comeback, taking Papa Estándar out with a couple clotheslines, and feeling the energy of the audience allowed him to dump Papa on his head with a nasty looking Michinoku Driver! But only a nearfall! Papa Estándar rolled to the outside to recuperate, only to be distracted by some fans that were shouting at him. Super Croak noticed this and came charging towards that side of the ring, acting as if he was going to take his opponent out with a dive... but Papa Estándar noticed! And he flinched! Super Croak stopped dead in his tracks to point this out and laugh, as the whole audience joined in on the pointing and laughing, much to the frustration of Papa Estándar who smacked the apron and cursed the audience. Later on, Super Croak missed his moonsault attempt, allowing for Papa Estándar to capitalize and get him with superkick! Super Croak gets laid out, but managed to kick out at the very last second! Papa Estándar showed his frustration, threatening the much taller referee, Tiny Jackson. But look out! Super Croak from behind with a quick schoolboy! Papa Estándar kicks out! Super Croak ducked another superkick attempt and an elbow strike to the face of Papa Estándar gets the villain on spaghetti legs! Super Croak rushed him into the corner and got onto the middle rope, he teased delivering punches to the dazed Papa Estándar, but first... he called out for some Croaka Cola! Super Croak is on the middle rope, desperately calling for somebody to get him a can. Just as some fans started to rush the bar in order to help him out, Papa Estándar snuck his arms under his opponent and powerbombed Super Croak out of the corner! And Papa Estándar signaled for the end! Papa Estándar lifted Super Croak up into an electric chair position, something that he's not known to do... and dropped Super Croak into a neckbreaker over his knee! Some sort of one-handed electric chair neckbreaker! Whatever it was, it was effective as Papa Estándar pinned Super Croak in 12:05 to advance in the Cosmic Medal tournament! The bell rang and the two competitors began to try and best each other, trading hurricanranas and arm drags. El Scorcho went for a kick to the midsection, but unfortunately for him, Sugarskull was too quick! Sugarskull caught the leg and immediately capitalized with a nasty looking variation of a dragon screw, going in the opposite direction than usual, driving the knee of El Scorcho into the mat. Sugarskull stayed on the leg throughout the match, wrenching and pulling at it with every opportunity he got. At one point, El Scorcho got pummeled into the corner by Sugarskull, who followed it up by putting the injured leg over the middle rope and attacking it with various left and rights until referee Josiah Crockett warned him that he would be disqualified. But El Scorcho would not be safe for long as Sugarskull quickly hopped over the rope, grabbed the leg and dropped to the floor! El Scorcho's leg snapped over the middle rope, causing him to crumble over in pain. Things finally started to look up for El Scorcho as Sugarskull got a little too confident, taking too long to jump back and fourth between the top and middle rope, showboating to the audience. As Sugarskull finally went for his springboard moonsault press, El Scorcho side stepped him, causing Sugarskull to crash face first! El Scorcho quickly tried to capitalize on this opportunity, hitting him with a sliding knee to the face... with his good leg, of course. In the final moments of the match, a sudden tornado DDT and a one-legged standing shooting star press was not enough to finish off Sugarskull, but it was enough to get him weakened enough for El Scorcho to hit him with Bullet Time! A charging torpedo headbutt that sent Sugarskull crashing backwards into the turnbuckles. El Scorcho quickly followed it up with La Magistral, and that was enough to pick up the win in 10:03! El Scorcho advances in the tournament! Longball spends most of this promo giving him a pep talk with a few references to "when the bases are loaded", which only serves to confuse Touchdown considering... he's a football player. But he appreciates the sentiment, nonetheless. "What are you going to do tonight?" shouts Slugger Longball. "WIN!" Touchdown shouts back. "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TONIGHT?" "WIIIIIN!" "THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT! NOW GO OUT THERE AND SCORE A HOMERUUUUUN!" yells Longball, giving him one loud slap on the back. Touchdown smacks his helmet a couple times, responding with "ACTUALLY IT'S A TOOOOUCHDOOOOOOooownn...." as his words get quieter, Touchdown running off into the distance. "Oh yeah, it's kind of in the name, huh?" says Slugger Longball, chuckling and shaking his head as he follows his friend off screen. Doctor Euan Reeka explains that he's been working on some upgrades, and he believes that Special FX is in tip top shape for competition tonight. Starblazer excitedly tries to give him an encouraging smack on the back, only to hurt his own hand considering the whole made out of metal thing. Touchdown would hit the ropes, attempting to shoulder tackle FX, only for the robot to stand completely still. At one point, Touchdown attempted to hit him with a spear, only to seemingly bounce off Special FX and land on his face. The shoulder tackle? Didn't work. The spear? Didn't work. The shoulder tackle, again? Didn't work. The test of strength? Didn't work. Eventually Special FX decided that play time was over and got started on his attack, countering yet another tackle attempt with a clothesline, catching Touchdown completely off guard. Unfortunately, the match never quite got going beyond this. Special FX spent most of the time on the offense as Slugger Longball and Doctor Euan Reeka were at ringside, cheering on their partners. Touchdown got a few hits of his own in, but the comeback and the match ended when Touchdown went for a tackle, only to be picked up into a reverse-spin scoop powerslam called "Light and Magic" that put him away for the night. Special FX got the win in 9:41 and advances in the tournament. Super Croak holds up his hand and a silence falls over the venue. He asks for one moment from referee Sam Bassett, who obliged, and Super Croak walks over to the corner of the ring where he had stashed some... ... Croaka-Cola! Who could have seen this one coming?! Super Croak holds up the can, much to the enjoyment of the audience who immediately erupted in cheers. But before he could crack open a cold one, Danger Bee attempted to crack open his skull with a stiff forearm to the back of the head! What a cheap shot. The match continued on with Danger Bee being mostly in control, smashing the head of Super Croak into the top turnbuckle on multiple occasions. Danger Bee would get Super Croak in a chinlock, only to break it up himself and immediately follow it up with a stiff kick to the back. And to the dismay of the audience, at one point Danger Bee draped Super Croak across the middle rope, using it to choke him in front of everybody. But through the power of the audience cheers and words of encouragement, Super Croak was able to escape a sleeper hold, elbowing Danger Bee in the stomach until he loosened his grip. Following that one up with a snapmare and dropkick to the back of the head. And finally, Super Croak had his chance! He rushed over to the can of Croaka Cola! The crowd was going wild! He cracked it open! The crowd is chanting "chug! chug! chug!" as Super Croak, you guessed it, chugged that Cola! Energy has been completely restored within Super Croak as he begins to wild out, shaking the ropes and hopping around the ring as Danger Bee slowly realized the trouble he was in. Unfortunately for Danger Bee, he found himself to be no match for a Croak'd Out Super Croak who completely dominated the final moments of the match. Super Croak picked up the win in 9:45 after a Death Valley Driver got Danger Bee dazed enough for Super Croak to leap up to the top rope and hit a moonsault... aptly named "The Quenchsalt". Super Croak picks up the win! And with that, Super Croak advances in the tournament! The cloaked crusader took his time getting to the ring, stopping not to engage with the audience, but to strike fear in them as he stared sinisterly at a few select members of the crowd. hit the speakers and the whole vibe of the room completely changed as Hiryu came charging out, welcomed by the audience with applause and cheers. The masked hero high-fived fans along the way as Papa Estándar watched from the ring. The respective entrances of both competitors set the tone for the main event of the evening, showing a prime example of good versus evil. The match began and the two competitors met in the middle of the ring for a lockup, but Papa Estándar quickly got the upper hand, pushing Hiryu into the corner. Tiny Jackson warned Estándar to let him out, but almost as soon as he put his hands up, he delivered a massive mongolian chop that echoed throughout the venue. Hiryu attempted to fight back, only to get piefaced by Papa Estándar in an ultimate sign of disrespect. Hiryu became the victim of an assault at the hands of Papa Estándar as he was pushed back into the corner, chopped across the chest, and dumped very suddenly out to the floor. Papa Estándar who was quite proud of himself, drank in all of the hate from the audience in attendance. As Hiryu made it to his feet, Estándar suddenly hit the ropes and hit a somersault plancha to his unsuspecting victim. Papa Estándar continued the disrespect throughout the match, at one point placing Hiryu in La Tapatía, wrenching on the arms and legs. After Estándar decided that wasn't enough, he dropped Hiryu down to his knees, still locked in the submission and proceeded to pull him backwards into a dragon sleeper! Hiryu finally got to make a comeback as Papa Estándar went for a series of kneedrops to the face, missing the third one and driving his own knee into the mat, allowing Hiryu to quickly make it to his feet and dropkick his knee out from under him! Hiryu hit the ropes, following it up with a massive shotgun dropkick to the chest of Papa Estándar, sending him tumbling to the outside. Hiryu saw his chance and decided to take a risk, but with high risk comes high reward as Hiryu came flying through the middle rope with a suicide dive that looked as if he was trying to go right through Papa Estándar! As Hiryu continued to work on the injured knee of Papa Estándar, he tried to get him to submit to the figure-four leglock, but Papa Estándar was able to fight through the pain and start wailing on Hiryu with mongolian chops! But Hiryu wasn't going to back off without a fight as he started hitting him with chops of his own, still tangled up in the leglock. Both men swung at the same time, connecting with forearms that caused both of them to fall backwards and break the hold. A rolling wheel kick stopped Papa Estándar in his tracks as he came charging at Hiryu, who attempted to follow it up with a crossbody from the top rope, but a palm strike to the airborne Hiryu stopped him right in his tracks! Papa Estándar attempted to capitalize by following it up with a brainbuster, but only got a nearfall. At the match continued, a superkick attempt from Papa Estándar was wildly missed, allowing Hiryu to hit him with a swift sit-out powerbomb! But again, only a nearfall. Hiryu picked up Papa Estándar, sending him into the corner with an irish whip, and following it up with a yet another brutal wheel kick that nearly knocked Papa Estándar out in the process. In the closing moments, Hiryu attempted a Diamond Dust out of the corner, but Papa Estándar was able to hold on to the top rope causing Hiryu and all of his momentum to hit hard on the mat. A swift superkick to the back of the head sent Hiryu to dream street, but as if that wasn't enough, Papa Estándar used the ropes as leverage as he folded Hiryu up into a pin.
