It can be tough to find wrestlers with such a cheap wage normally, but I would recommend using Derek's CVerse XL mod as it balances cheap worker wages (indy wrestlers based in one area will only have a pop greater than 0 in that area, making them cheaper).

Ideally you will want to hire literally the cheapest wrestlers available in your area who will do the majority of the work on your shows. For example, I play 0/0/0 in Australia, so I hire two guys, Sexxxy SJB and Bryant Hall as my jobbers because they are both worth about $120 per show and feature them heavily. Best case scenario is you will have a roster which costs between 100-300 dollars, but you want to make sure your core wrestlers are closer to 200 than 300 or you will be spending way more than you'd want. It can be tough balancing a roster and finances when you want to book a small company "legitimately" and not just run the same matches over and over and over.

Thank you for the help, how many wrestlers do you normally sign? I know it sounds stupid but is it the norm to put a tiny bit of pop in the area you start in or is it literally '0' everywhere?

I'm looking to start a game around the same time.

  3.
Recently got back into TEW after 6 months away from the game...

I'm booking WWE 2005 (one of my favourite recent years)

Has anyone come up with good ways of holding the 'yearly draft'?

I don't want to have the brands complete in matches with the winners brand getting a new pick (because why would superstars want new superstars on their brand? it adds more threats to them so makes no sense).

    Thanks

  4.
I'm 6 weeks into my CGC game, which is the furthest i've ever been on a C-verse game.

First PPV I had Gartanguan destroy Jack DeColt after his title defence, Jack hasn't appeared since and Gartanguan is demanding he is awarded the title. Jack will come back next week and challenge him at the next PPV.

I am planning of having Gartanguan loose due to DQ when he looses control. Now I was planning on Ricky DeColt (who beat Thrill seeker earlier in the PPV to make it 4-3) coming out teasing a save only to join in on the attack on Decolt, how does that sound?

I have also debuted a stable called the brotherhood which contains Ernest Youngman, Kirk Jameson and Greg Gauge. I am playing them off as outsiders (that dont work for CGC, but are using CGC to get noticed) that have jumped the barrier and jumped numerous wrestlers including Alex DeColt. I was thinking of getting them involved (maybe even instead of Gartanguan)?

  5. Alright well I'm having fun with my TNA 2004 game. I'm slowly replacing the old guard who are either complaining about being old, literally popping their hips out during matches or have serious drug problems.

I sent Jeff Hardy to rehab. He's been gone for eight months. Eight months that i've been paying for him. That's $100k I would really love to have back. My popularity is going up very slowly. I wish there was a way to speed that up.

Here's the difference I've made in 6 months. It's not huge but for some reason my main successes, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Abyss haven't made it to the top of the list yet. Glad to see Daniels really making a good showing though. Also I've been losing roughly 100k every month. Despite this issue I've still managed to outbid the WWE on a contract that recently came up. I'm really looking forward to his debut.

Which 2004 mod are you using, has it converted well? You're write up has made me want to play as TNA back in 2004.

  6. My first real game using the C-Verse, I've started with 21CW.

Edward Cornell defended his title against Adam Matravers in a cage match. Edward won the match thanks to the help of Tommy (he slide a pipe through the cage for Edward when it looked like Edward was close to loosing). I am planning to keep the title on Edward for a while but have Tommy keep helping him win most matches. This will eventually lead to Edward getting very cocky despite only holding the title due to Tommy. Tommy will get fed up of this and turn on him.

Finding the c-verse fun but I'm just concentrating on a few main stories so quite a few on the guys dont have much on.
