  1. Steven Parker is always my guy if it's a C-Verse save he is active in. I actually just started up a Alternate 2022 save and am bringing him to TCW to give him one last mega push to the top.
  2. My shows follow a very predictable outline, opening show promo with one of the top 2/3 storylines, followed up by matches that are followed by promos building their associated storyline. Makes booking weekly TV shows quick and easy, just make sure all my storylines get advanced. Also need to have a solid backstage interviewer to help build skills and boost angles with my mid-carders who can't quite carry the angles on their own yet. I'm also huge on stables and freestyle angles. My shows almost always have 3 or 4 angles with 8 people in them.
  3. Just ran Master of Puppets, Remo vs Golden scored a 98 with a interference finish and Spade vs Parker scored an 88 for the NA title. Really hopping the SC40 Main Event of Remo vs Golden in a cage match with Jack Bruce as special guest ref can score 100.
  4. Decided to take a look due to your post, only one that seems to have capped right now is Scythe at 74, which SUCKS.
  5. That is what I figured, don't want to tank the main event of my biggest PPV due to using a guest ref. I'll give him a boost before the show. Thanks
  6. Will it tank the match rating if I use someone who has no ref skill? Wanting to use Jack Bruce as a special guest ref for a PPV match.
  7. I am pretty sure the answer to this is no, but is there a way to do a special guest referee?
  8. I have a deep love for Steven Parker, he can be built up quickly to a main event player with the right fueds. But his star quality and mic skills aren't quite top star level. Another indy suggestion I have would be Logan Wolfsbaine, his entertainment skills are much much better than they were in 16 and he's still really young if you're planning on doing a long term save.
  9. If you don't get hung up on this character being a certain size, I would suggest Spencer Spade. He's only Middleweight but has excellent Star Quality, he can talk and he's solid in the ring while still being young. He's always been considered as the homegrown figurehead in waiting for SWF.
  10. <p>Finally got around to booking another month in my save after a busy holiday weekend. Spencer Spade is now number 3 on my list of Franchise Players right behind Rocky and Remo. Planning on doing a 3 month build of Spade vs Parker (who is up to Star perception) to SC and pulling the double turn at the event. Remo's contract came up and I had to shell out big bucks to keep him away from USPW. I also ended up stealing both Greg Gauge and Edd Stone from TCW, just waiting on their contracts to start. Brought back Jack Bruce on a handshake deal, but not sure exactly what my plan is for him just yet. Ekuma and High Flying Hawaiian still have the tag belts and are currently fueding with the Awesomeness and Brandon James/John Greed. Currently planning on kicking Monty and Justin Sensitive out of the Rat Pack and replacing them with Dominic DeSousa and Sammy Smoke as a tag team and giving Paul a single's push. </p><p> </p><p> Weird to see everyone having such great success with Smasher, maybe he just got a bad roll in my game, but he hasn't been anything special.</p>
  11. Has anyone played around with starting a Women's division yet? I decided to sign a few to work in RIPW to see how they would do and they are putting up grades that would be right up with my B show immediately. I was going to wait to introduce them after Supreme Challenge, but now I'm thinking of running a title tournament that ends at SC40.
  12. I made Eric Eisen his mouthpiece when Eric was given the evil GM role. Also added Rogue in there due to some injuries. Greed is kind of in no man's land as I don't have a current plan for him. Playing around with the idea of having him and Brandon James as a tag team, but I don't really have room for another top heel team right now.
  13. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="rufas2000" data-cite="rufas2000" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47503" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Wow, I assumed Parker was a heel lol. I never even looked. <p> </p><p> Anyway I think Mainstream Hernandez can be a star but I'm not feeling the name or gimmick. In 2016 I had him as Lance Joy. He was a Fallon style entertainer who would do segments with Sam Strong (I unretired and signed him, oops). When that went meh I turned him into a cult leader with the "House of Joy" (Huntington, Sexy and McClean were the "Deacons of Joy", Scythe was the judgment for those who didn't embrace Joy). </p><p> </p><p> Maybe I'll go that way but Scythe obviously won't be mere muscle though. I'm open to something else. Instagram influencer gimmick came to mind but that locks me into heel territory (wrestling fans cheering for an influencer, nah).</p><p> </p><p> Anyway any suggestions appreciated.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I usually change his name to Jimmy/James Hernandez, as I also can't stand the Mainstream name and pick a render that doesn't have a puka shell necklace. I also turned him face early on to help balance things out. In 2016 he turned into a real star in my SWF save. I usually book him as a mix of Matt Riddle subtle stoner mannerisms mixed with pretty boy face character. I guess somewhat close to NXT Tyler Breeze in that respect, but not full blown "I'm a model" territory.</p><p> </p><p> John Greed is always my go-to guy when any cultish heel stable is formed, either as the leader, mouthpiece, or just a member. If you're looking for muscle that isn't Scythe, there are a lot of good monster heels that could benefit from a gimmick change near the bottom of the card like Avalanche, Chill or Bear or in development like Son of Vengeance. Could also being in a free agent like Dreadnought.</p>
  14. That is what I thought as well, but I hired all these guys right at the start of the game and they have been featured multiple times on my B show and a few appearances on the A show. The only one on the main roster that has managed to crack the 20's across the board is Ant-Man who is getting some rub in angles on the main show right now and he just hit 21 pop. I've had Ernest Youngman and Davis Wayne Newton get clean wins over Jungle Lord and American Machine and their pop has gone up maybe 10 points from where it started. Meanwhile Logan Wolfsbaine has gone 6-2 in development and is 37 across the world. If it's working as intended, that's great, I have no issue doing the NXT route of throwing guys in development for a few months to introduce them and then call them up. Just doesn't feel like it's working correctly.
  15. Just finished up March in my first SWF save and it's going well. Have managed to elevate Parker, Spade, Hernandez, and Primus firmly into Star territory. Stole Rick Law from USPW to give myself another upper card babyface and have won the last 2 area battles against them. Slowly building to a Spade vs Parker NA Championship fued to really push them to the next level, debating if I want to try to pull a double turn. Despite what their attributes might say, I've always seen Parker as the heel and Spade as the face.
