Not entirely sure what you're asking here, but if you're looking to set up a similar deal to any of these, you can go to see if a broadcaster is willing to broadcast your show/events/tour highlights and offer to pay them a particular amount per episode to do it. This might make a broadcaster more willing to let you air at a better time slot or show your product when they might not otherwise do so. You can also see if a broadcaster is willing to pay you a particular amount per episode for your show in the same way you can ask for a particular revenue split.
As for those particular scenarios:
TNA having a deal with Fox Sports with a weekly television show (I don't honestly remember if it was Impact! yet) where TNA paid Fox Sports $100k per episode.
For the other three (I'm guessing you're setting these up pre-game), set a TV deal with USA or TNN or Fox to air your weekly show with a set amount paid by the broadcaster per episode (for the current Fox deal, I'd do the math for what is $5bn divided by (48 x 5 since every year in TEW is only 48 weeks) and plug that number in as the per epsiode amount). It's easier for Raw on USA currently. Just plug in $1m per episode. For the WWE/TNN deal, I just know that TNN offered WWE more than USA was offering, and USA was unwilling to meet TNN's offer (I believe there was also something about WWE demanding not to be preempted for the dog show and the US Open, but I'm not positive about that), and that reportedly there were plenty of people backstage in WWF/E who didn't care much for leaving USA Network.
I figure trying to recreate those particular deals mid-save might be dificult, to say the least.

Ok thanks for the suggestion. I was just curious on how to plug in that information into the game. Besides wwe shows have to reach a certain rating the in the game they can easily make a profit. Also in real life they are for sure!!
Depending on the year I try to keep it realistically as possible.!!
in real life is making money

I’ve been relooking when tna was paying fox sports to air their content in 04.
Then came across an article with wwe before moving to TNN.
Of course wwe big tv deal with fox & USA network.
So the big question is how would you put in context in the game?!I don’t remember how much tna but it was like 100,000 per episode for bad time slot!!
I can’t find the tnn deal.!
Raw usa possibly a 1 million episode
Sd fox deal was 1 billion for 5 years -

just curious if there is a new link with all the new updates and changes you have done to the beta?

I was curious if this been talked about or possible better once a mod starts. Obviously you can check on a talent match history as you play the game.
What if after a month or whatever and you want to create a new mod out of the game you been playing. All the match history is there. When you start the new mod with the database you created. You don't have to repeat the cycle again. It would be cool to have and possible add how good the match is so it does get booked again or not.
For example, Nia Jax matches aren't that good so possible when she is ever booking by the IA needs to be careful when she is booked. Depending on the era or year you play Eddie vs Rey M matches are good. Lesnar vs Roman doesn't get repeated too often.!
Etc just a thought!!

Obviously depending on the media company that you may have to own the company could be good or bad.
Like Impact with Anthem and ROH at the moment with Sinclair probably bad idea!! You wouldn't be able to move to a new network.
Depending on the mod you play I'm sure you remove anthem or sinclair before you start the game.
Is there a benefit besides obviously have a tv deal no matter what. Is there a better setup that way like these two companies pay soo much for using their network?
I was watching the Eric B and Conrad talking about his deal with SpikeTV and Dixie meeting. Eric supposedly try to get SpikeTV buy into the company and obviously Dixie probably didn't like that. Eric mentioned how SpikeTV brought in Bellator MMA company and that's why the company is somewhat still around.
Is their away to make the network pay more and also your company and receive a decent pay by the network?

Definitely need to be help do something like that.
If I'm not mistake EWR had some kind similar option of hiring certain people to do just that. It's been awhile since I've opened up an EWR game.
If you have a dojo that turns into performance type school. You should be able to get the best trainers and able to have certain numbers to go. I think dojo should be like 5 to 10 wrestlers then each school the number rises. Depending how the facility shape of the school. Help speed the process up in away. Like having something like WWE type performance center type of the line. Should help produce or train wrestlers quicker or at least build up certain stats.
We should be allowed to something similar as well as developmental/child type company. I know we can hire an owner and booker. We should be able to assign certain other positions too. As like a lead referee, broadcaster (but at least of an option to assign someone), personality (which could just be someone for a gm/commissioner type role [someone like William regal]), and 1 or 2 road agent (like someone like HHH and HBK to be assign to)

ok I'll take another look and see if I can make sense.
Maybe I can figure it out just gonna have to take time going back through all the broadcasters!! Thanks I probably misread the handbook or trying to make things legit real time.!!!!
I should've double check the handbook before I made the post!!

So I have played different mods with different broadcasters. I try to incorporate the same media and networks the last several months.
As of lately I'm getting curious on if certain broadcasters are accurate from something in 2000's and then 20 years later 2020's.
What is the best way to accurate the popularity of a broadcaster.!!
For examples
CBS has 6.35 million viewers would that be big or huge
Fox News averaged 1.52 million (same as fox that SD is on) big
2017 Syfy 641 thousand viewers would that be tiny or very small
Right now I'm intrigues on if the popular broadcaster/networks are correct. Just like the streaming service some should be higher especially if its been around for a minute?!!

Well for the 2/3 falls only one wrestlers gets 2 wins when I want at least the opponent win once.
Certain wrestlers or team gets eliminated when they should take the fall last.
Same thing with iron man match can't justify the scoring right.
-
Has anyone successfully done a 2 out of 3 falls or iron man or any type of elimination (triple threat or fatal fourway or any tag matches) type match?
I've tried it a few times but it never worked exactly they way it went down.

I think having options in the media could make things interesting or even move around under the same banner. Like if TNT and TBS decide to dislike wrestling maybe you could move to another broadcaster under the same banner. OR if your not doing well the media group can give you option to move to a different network or move on from this media group all together.
I could do the same examples for Walt Disney and NBC or CBS & Viacom or any other media that has so many other sub partners too.
It's just a thought or option to make things interesting.
P.S. side not I played one year of TEW and anyone and everyone could've moved to different broadcasters and as many as they want in the same area. Having the right media group definitely helps so that can't happen.
-
So I've been trying to get the right broadcasters and media in the game. Lately over the last serval years theirs been a lot of mergers with media company but then separate at the same time.
Like with the new merger of Warner Media and Discovery. HBO has a side company within Warner Media. Also I think AT&T is also under the warner media as well. The obviously one the Disney and NBC could be split or something as well. Maybe have an option if one of these media inside the same media falls or what to break completely. Warner Media was once call Time Warner.
What if theirs an option like broadcaster changes but also for the media side of things.
Have an option to edit during the game to help edit the media or move a broadcaster into a different media just in case you forgot to do it before the start of the game.
I think the media brand with the broadcaster could help during game play with stricter rules or easy to be apart of.
It got me thinking with AxusTV and the sinclair broadcast company owning Impact and ROH. After like 5 or 10 years or so if the company doesn't do well or lose money then media group drops the company or something.!!

I just got done listing to the Jericho podcast with Marty Elias today. He talks about his work in wwe and other places. How he was good with certain talents and it got me thinking.
What if that plays apart in a positive and negative way in a match.
I know it'll be difficult unless you do research or could tell that theirs chemistry with a wrestler and referee.
Jericho said that Marty was one of his favorite refs in wwe with a few others as well. Also Jericho said that Aubrey Edwards is one of his favorite refs in aew and always in his matches. Theirs a ref in japan that wears red shoes that Jericho likes. So if either of those refs are in Jericho matches it could help make the match a good one or something.
Imagine after the Montreal screwjob with earl hebner refering bret hart matches after that. It could make the match become bad or something.
Just a thought for something down the road.

I've noticed that AEW only does like 4-5 PPV's a year.
Then theirs a theme/special event type show to replace a regular dynamite.
I'm curious instead of having all these special events or theme type shows.
Could it possibly be included in like the A show drop down box area to make it mean this show is special in a way? Like a holiday theme or make it feel like a small ppv show?
AEW theme/special shows feels like WCW Clash of Champions in a way but I figure having an option without moving your normal TV show or even cancelling it is to have an option letting the user make it a big deal.
I'm wondering if theirs a way for the AI to figure that as well. Like if you do a 50 or 100 shows or more that the show will automatically be like an anniversary type show.

So in TNA 2006/2007 a small feud went down between Steiners [face] (WCW) vs Dudleyz [heel] (ECW) vs James Gang tweener] (WWF/e).
How would you have booked it?
Is their any other teams you would bring into the mix?
I feel like before AMW split that they would get involved into the mix to represent TNA as a face team one more time. Considering they were younger and build them up some if possible.
For another WCW team Harlem Heat would've been cool to see but Booker wasn't available until late 2007. Could Stevie Ray still go as well?
Nasty Boys showed up in TNA in 2010 but by that time nobody really wanted to see them.
The Outsiders would be another team to watch but Hall was still battling with his issues though.
Obvousily all the old school fans know that WWE & Vince M missed out on a lot possibilites of dream matches in early 2000's.
Now we are in mid to late 2000's so what team would make sense to show up and be added into the feud?!
-
It's possible, but completely pointless.
Just change the name of the segment.
One of the selling points to the "Go back to Booking Screen" feature was put into the game, besides the benefit of fixing mistakes or changing stuff, was that you could do something like the three faces or Foley. But it's pointless to do something like that because you'd just be changing to an alter ego, which doesn't at all matter in the game, and maybe changing the name of the gimmick, which matters even less.
Also I don't believe you could be able to do a a battle royal where the same person appears multiple times.
Ok thanks for the heads up.
I get that it won't really do too much in the game but it would be interesting to see how it play out if possible.
Again it's the same talent with a different name or gimmick so it wouldn't do much but ignoring to switch things back and forth.
Unless you copy the person into the different personality to get a different reaction.
Backstage personnel popularity matters?!

I’m sure someone has ask or mentioned but does referee or road agents or ‘backstage interviewers” popularity matters?
Depending on the backstage interviewer you use their popularity somewhat matters. I’m just not sure about the backstage roles and I believe the broadcaster need a decent popularity too.
