1.
Love this thread, and since I haven't seen any love dropped for some of the ladies yet, I'll go ahead and throw out Teresa Perez and Laura Flame. Flame always puts on quality matches for me(she may even not count as underrated lol), and Teresa Perez is great as my technical masterclass-churning women's division stalwart.

I'll also second Aldous Blackfriar. He's at the head of a cult of giants in my game, and about to win the equivalent of the cruiserweight belt. He's a joy, on the mic and in the ring.

 2. In my RtG Cornellverse game, Claire Winters and Gidayu Katou, who found their love working for me, had their first child! I believe they've named the girl, "Lariat." Lariat Winters-Katou.
 3.
Hey everybody! It's been awhile since I've been on this post but my RtG game keeps trudging along, we're coming up on the end of 2024 with my char Al the Best and his fed, F1 Wrestling. Nearly ten years!

Wanted to see if anyone had any advice to offer on the jump from regional to cult. I'm sitting with a million five in the bank, but my roster is quite large because I A. have separate heavyweight, lightweight, and women's divisions, and B. have altered my product to such a degree that nearly every category is, "heavy," meaning I need at least one high spot or show-stealer, one technical masterclass, one wild brawl or hardcore, and one storytelling per show. Lots of roles to fill so my roster has to be big.

Based on this, I've seen some people suggest around five million in the bank is a good cash amount to have for the jump, wanted to see if anyone had any other opinions on this, and how they made the jump in terms of building their pop, like did you run a bunch of shows in one region and use the overflow or did you run shows in multiple regions? Any answers/tips would be appreciated, thanks everyone!

 4.
I have a question about regional match grades...

I'm doing a RTG game, and am currently sitting a regional level fed, and in my home region have E+ importance and D- popularity. My product is Key: traditional, Heavy: lucha, modern, cult, pure, and Medium: risque and mainstream. I have two wrestlers putting on A and A* performances, but receiving a B grade for the match, and the only negative note I'm getting is, "there was a noticeable lack of flow in the middle, with nobody with psychology able to take control of the match," or something to that effect. My question is, is the grade being held back because of the size of my fed, because of the psychology skill of both wrestlers(I can't see their psych scores because scouting, but they're both within the Good to Excellent range), or some combination of both?

Any responses would be much appreciated.

 5.
I'm at 2020 in my cornellverse RTG save, USPW and 21CW have the most coverage after Reverie expanded and 21CW have put shows out in the US and Australia, however, SOTBPW seem to have the most star power, having picked up Remo, Rich Money, and Nicky firetruckin' Champion. We seem to be locked into a three-way dance between 21CW, USPW and SOTBPW for international dominance. SWF and TCW seem to be treading water; SWF fluctuates above and below SOTBPW in the company war rankings, but TCW remains consistently under all the other major promotions in the world.

Meanwhile, my tiny little Great Lakes promotion keeps chugging along.

"Top Rope Hero" You have devoted your holiday season to training in the ring +5 to Aerial skill

29. “So, Tell Me About Your Mother…”You have devoted your holiday season to training in the ring +5 to your Psychology skill

f

The Industry and Economy are still at F and F-, but at least the Economy is starting to turn around. I'm hoping to ride the wave of new signee Bret Heartbreaks' astronomical momentum into a growth spurt as the econ and industry improve.

 7.
Well, I'm nearly finished with 2018 of my RtG challenge. MAW, ACPW, and two feds I created and dropped into the game at the beginning are out of business. GCG was purchased by BHOTWG and disbanded. GSW was left 10 million dollars by a random guy in his will, and is hostile towards nearly every promotion in the U.S. Jeff Nova is toxic, Champagne Lover is still the world's most popular wrestler and SOTBW are battling with USPW for global supremacy after a string of signings from SWF and TCW. Reverie keeps expanding to Japan.

And I'm still a local promotion in the US with F+ pop but not enough booking skill or money to be able to move on up. Not to mention the Economy is at F- and falling, and the Wrestling industry is at F and falling. I'm making about a grand on average a month, running one show every two months, desperate to make the owner goal of having 10k in the bank by the end of 2019.

On the flip side, I gave Gidayu Katou a hug after his final match in my promotion, and found the moment very moving. Will post some screencaps later. Here's hoping the Industry improves and I can, you know, grow.

 8.

At what point do you come into competition with other companies? I'm still at Local and have had a couple of shows where I've been hit for lower production etc. standards.

Is it just because L-Ring have opened and are Local as well? They're the only rivals listed. I've raised Music and they seem to have dropped their standards elsewhere so I'm currently ahead of them, but I thought this didn't kick in until Regional for some reason.

I'm midway through 2018 in my RtG, and I noticed that, once my popularity reached F+ in my home region(Great Lakes), I began having regional battles with PSW and NYCW, both of whom have spillover in Great Lakes, so I'm figuring that once you reach small-size level pop(not importance), you begin having regional feuds. That may explain why you're being hit for production standards

 9.
For your women's promotion, are you using Claire Winters at all? I found her useful as hell in my previous saves, and the only reason I haven't hired her for my women's division is because I dpn't want to start the division proper until I'm making a bit of cash

EDIT: nevermind, reading your diary now and got my answer lol Winters is the best in my book.

 10. Considering my two failures, I think I need the easier route lol It should be a lot of fun, I'm figuring if I can survive the first year and get profitable I'll be okay
 11. After failing at two different saves(hit by the music fine in the first, just booked terribly in the second) and reading this thread incredulously, I decided to start a RtG game, and by golly, I'm in May and it's actually going well! I've got Logan Wolfesbane as my champ and he's doing a decent job, and I'm actually one month away from turning a profit, which is shockingly quick compared to my last game saves. This is my wrestler: And this is my first promotion:
 12. Well I appreciate you taking the time to answer me, I'll tinker around with it and try the technique you mentioned. Thank you
 13. I'm honestly not familiar enough with Linux to be able to give you a good answer.
 14. Hi! I play on Mac using Wine, have a question you might be able to answer. Do you know how to make the TEW screen larger in WINE? The font is size 12 and it strains my eyes sometimes to read it.
