  1. I’ve always liked the idea of a “heaven or hell” match. Basically there are 2 ways to win. Either throw your opponent off a scaffold into the ring which is set on fire, so like a scaffold/inferno match. Or climb the scaffold and climb higher up to grab a title or something. So like a ladder match.

Can set up some very cool endings and turning people. Good guy just trying to grab the belt but decides he hates an opponent so much he chucks them off the scaffold into a burning inferno, thus turning them heel.

Could also have different stipulations in place for each type of victory. Like say if you throw your opponent off, they are storyline fired (pun intended), or some type of long suspension, but if you spare your opponent and grab the belt or breifcase whatever you get a title shot or something good.

  2. <p>yah, i restarted (i was only a few shows in anyway), and just started running 1 show a month. Im actually not losing too much money either. I think I may actually get to turn things around before I go bankrupt. </p><p> </p><p>

Also, I am so used to playing sports videogames like madden where madden 20 will come out in august of 2019. So i figured TEW2020 came out in 2019. So yah, guess it has not been out for a full year.</p><p> </p><p>

    Thanks for the help though <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  3. I just started a new game after not playing for over a year (real time). I made a 0 popularity fed. Attitude entertainment product. Newest patch/update. Default universe. First show I had a 28 rating and it said I gained popularity. I checked the in game editor and it still said 0. Ok whatever. I did notice my attendance went from 13 to 21 for the 2nd show though. Btw I’m running a weekly event held in Sundays. 2nd show I only scored a 20. It said in the post show recap that I gained no popularity. Ok, seems fair, the show sucked. However, week 3 I got my highest rated show yet at 38 but..... I get the message that no popularity was gained from this show.

Why? I thought you only had to score 10 above your pop level. I’m at 0, so a 38 show would have boosted.

Only other thing I could think of is I checked southwest’ (my home territory and where I run my shows), is 12 economy, 83 industry with both falling. Still..... I should have gained pop right?

Also, I do have 2 stroylines that are above the needed level for that product setting.

  4. I dont know if im being stupid or not. I swear i remember seeing pictures in this forum but now, everytime I go on this forum, every single picture just shows up as a long link that i need to click on to view. Is there a way to change that in settings somehwere so the picture just shows up automatically? Ive tried going in the greydog settings, my browser settings, i cant figure it out. I dont even know if its possible. somoene help me :(

EPW lost more money than usual this month but it was well worth it. The first annual Wrestlefest was a huge success. By far the best show so far for this company that was also main evented by the best match in EPWs short history.

Notes: EPW put on an amazing show. Wrestlefest combined wrestling with a party like festival. A local band was hired to entertain the fans and a local popular celebrity DJ was hired for the event. EPW for sure lost some money from this event but fans have been ranting on how good the show was for a backyard fed. Fans have said that this event actually rivaled some of the bigger promotions with million dollar budgets. The main event was something special and will be remembered for years to come. Some fans were even heard asking when tickets will go on sale for next years Wrestlefest. Avatar took a giant risk and everything looks to have paid off. We are all excited to see what EPW will bring in the future.</p>

  8. I am gonna hold everyone in anticipation for awhile. I am taking a short vacation for my birthday. Will be back Saturday night. I may post an update then but most likely wont be until Sunday night. Just a heads up that I didnt disappear and abandon this diary. This has def made the game way more fun. Taking so much longer but before I was just throwing random matches together and just clicking through with no rhyme or reason to 90 percent of it. I know my booking is far from perfect but I try to have some logic or reasoning behind matches. Also try to keep it fresh and not have 2 wrestlers fight eachother over and over and over again for no reason. So yah, whenever I return here, I will post the results of Wrestlefest which by far has been my biggest and best show yet.

See yall in a few days!

  9. Wait LiberTEEN are RAW not APW mate. Otherwise that is an awesome Main Event. Especially for a backyard match.

OOF! you are right haha. This is my first time ever playing as anyone in Australia so i am only vaguely familiar. I need to take better notes for when I write this stuff. But yah, I was stoked that I could get these 2 guys to agree to sign with me. They were by far my most expensive guys but it wasnt anything absurd. I think it was like 800 for one and 1400 for the other.

  10. EPW Hardcore Heatwave

    Crowed: 56 people

Wrecker defeats XS in 7:27 21

Angle: Wrecker grabs mic and challenged Vortex to one final match at next event 33

Maniac Monster defeats Asylum 11:31 21

Angle: Surfer Dude Lucas and Jesse Tasman face off in another surfer challenge. They flex for the audience. Try to out do eachother with obscure surfer trivia, etc. Surfer Dude Lucas asks the crowed to cheer for Tasman if they think hes the better surfer. Crowed goes nuts. He then asks the crowed to cheer if they think hes the best surfer. Dead silence until one voice just yells out "Yooooooou Suck!" which gets a huge laugh from the crowed. Surfer Dude Lucas looks dejected and walks out of the ring and to the back. Tasman gives one final pose and then walks back out high fiving fans along the way 38

Reggie Tate defeats Lucketti and Davey for the #1 contendership 25

Leon Maine surprise return to beat bloodsport. Bloodsport had issued an open challenge on social media before the show. He comes to the ring saying he will face anyone. Leon Maine, who had suffered an injury and was supposed to be out a full year, made a comeback in only a few months 10

Angle: David Avatar hypes up next event, Wrestlefest. Wrestlefest will be an annual celebration of wrestling. Avatar announces The Fixer will defend the World title against Reggie Tate. We will also see Wrecker vs Vortex. Avatar also announces the 2nd ever EPW woman match, with a returning Kalliope woodchuck set to face off against Etsuko Arihyoshi. Avatar begins to leave the ring, then smiles and comes back in. He hypes up the fans by saying he almost forgot, the main event of wrestlefest. He announces that APWs Liberteen is by far the most popular stable in Australia. Will beaumont and frankie libertine have been fueding ever since the former had left the stable. However, APW refuses to give the fans what they want. That is why, next month, LIVE FROM THE EPW BAAAAACKYARD, we will see Will beaumont vs frankie libertine....IN A CAGE MATCH! 28

In other news, EPW have finally turned a small profit this month. While attendance has dipped nearly 33%, the idea to start charging for tickets seems to be a good one. David Avatar built up a decent fanbase by giving away free shows, and now these fans are willing to pay their hard earned dollars to watch. With every other company in the world growing right now, David Avatar may actually be able to pull this off. Experts said the company would crash and burn quick but Avatar is showing them otherwise.</p><p> </p><p>

  13. Wow so lots to talk about. Firstly even if it would have made Stoppard unhappy if he was there for one night should have fed him to the roster. Have him lose multiple matches.

Secondly the passing of Blitz Simpson is crazy. The bloke is one of the most talented guys at DIW and add to the fact that Vaughan another member of the Barracudas was forced into retirement due to injury. Now Blitz passes away. Just a sad time in DIW. Hopefully Rourke stays safe and isnt cursed like his tag-team partner and stable mate.

Triple threat world title match. The Fixer vs Vortex vs Wrecker - Vortex and Wrecker c9ntinue their fued and allow Fixer continue his Championship reign.

Barbed Wire: Ice Ice Davey vs Asylum - Ice Ice Davey has been getting a lot of oppurtunities.

Quick Zee vs XS - Interesting to see two guys who would nornally eat pins get a match against each other i like Quick Zee more.

Debut of Reggie Tate vs Bloodsport - If Tate is here permenantly the whole roster should be on notice.

Segment: Lucas and Tasman face off in a surfing challenge. Lucas is money.

Yah, stuff has been crazy. Im glad I decided to throw in some other world news here and there that doesnt really involve EPW. Theres actually quite a bit of interesting other world stuff going on.

When it comes to Stoppard, I wanna avoid "cheating" the game. My logic is that nobody would sign and agree to go out and lose 4 matches in a row then be all pissed off about it. Also when I get a little bigger, I dont know who I wanna bring in to build up a tag division so I dont want to burn any bridges.

I cant bring myself to do it but eventually I will have to cut some guys. XS, Bloodsport, and Bremnar have turned in some awful matches and I just dont see them ever doing anything productive. However I still need some guys to eat alot of losses so who knows.

Finally, I wont spoil who, but a few events in the future, I did have someone score a 0 match. I was so disappointed. Almost raged and fired both guys on the spot lol.

  14. World Wrestling News

EPW Have realeased the name of their next event, Lucky Number 7. The event will be the 7th in company history. It will also be the first event to charge for tickets. We will see how much of an impact this has on attendance but will sure be able to help finances as EPW has lost money every month so far.

EPW have also announced that Tournament of Terror will have a sequel, and will be a yearly event held every January. The winner will get a trophy as established last year, but they will also get a World Title shot at a time of their choosing.

Triple threat world title match. The Fixer vs Vortex vs Wrecker

Barbed Wire: Ice Ice Davey vs Asylum

    Quick Zee vs XS

Debut of Reggie Tate vs Bloodsport

Segment: Lucas and Tasman face off in a surfing challenge.

The overall popularity of wrestling seems to be growing as CILL and SAISHO have both risen to small and OLLIE have risen to medium sized.

Blitz Simpson, part of the tag team The Barracudas, dies at 33 in a freak gardening accident. Deep Impact Wrestling have honored him by inducting both Simpson and his long term tag team partner Chopper Rourke into the DIW Hall of Fame.

Notes: The Fixer hit is big boot finisher and legitimately broke Maniac Monsters jaw. He is expected to be fine by the next show, but this insane kick is sure to be replayed over and over again on highlight videos.

Matt Stoppard was booed unmercifully by the crowed. He was seen as a non hardcore outside that didnt belong. The chances of him coming back anytime soon is slim to none.

In sad news today, Henry Lee has passed away.

Henry Lee was a 2 time Dave Unified Champion, 1 time Dave Extreme champion, 3 time WEXXV blood brothers champ with doug peak and 3 time WEXVV king of death matches winner.

Henry Lee was an important part of the hardcore wrestling movement. Several promotions across the world have already announced they will do some sort of memorial to this great wrestler.
