1. This being the community mod, is the pic pack from this mod free to redistribute? I have created a 2008 mod myself, borrowing a lot of the b-level fighters from this mod and the pics.
 2. Yeah, but that was probably just to get people to jump to 5, instead of sitting an iteration out. WMMA is one of his breadmakers, he will make another. I really want him to do a boxing game though.
 3. I would second that I would love to be able to...access...the database directly. It would let me script tasks in minutes that would take days to complete now. And create an automated system to keep fighter records up-to-date by referencing sherdog.
 4. I find in my personal mod that companies live much longer than they should. I add multiple events to to damage their finance, but they seem to be happy to operate for months or years while in massive debt. Is there a way to force these companies to shut their doors more easily? I don't want Pride surviving until 2020.
 5. Playing with the fight engine editor can freshen things up. Just messing around with the effectiveness of every technique by 10-20% is enough to change up the meta so you don't always have the same champs.
 6. I have a custom dragonball mod, and I like to a tournament of tournaments type thing. I have 8 individual tournaments with 8 fighters each. Then the winner of each of the 8 tournaments goes into the super tournament.
 7. I'm thinking of making my own text-based sim game (about being a Hollywood movie producer) in spirit of a lot of the Grey Dog games. Does anyone know what engine/toolset Adam and other devs use? And what database tools?

I worked on it quite a bit this weekend shaping it up for release. I'll try to get a test version out next weekend.

 9. I have a personal dragon ball mod with a couple hundred fighters, and a custom fight engine that de-emphasizes grappling as much as it can. The setup for the universe is that around the Zamasu arc, time is torn apart and fighters from all eras starting leaking through (debuting over time). A few organizations form for friendly melee (ki and flying are not allowed) matches. Organizations include Zeno's Tournament of Power, Trunk's Time Patrol Intramural League, and the World Martial Arts Tournament. I repurposed weight classes to refer to skill classes. So Heavyweight is everyone as strong as a god of destruction. Light heavyweight is everyone stronger than SSJ2 Gohan in the Cell saga. Middleweight is everyone stronger than Goku/Frieza in the Frieza arc. Welterweight is everyone stronger than Raditz. Lightweight is DB-tier characters, and below that are just random human side characters. This ensures that characters across a wide range of skills levels are able to compete with others in their class. I found this generally creates a more fun gameplay experience and accounts for the absolutely massive power difference found between characters in the dragon ball universe. If there is any interest in this mod, I'll polish it up and release it for all.

Would be keen to play it myself.

I got side tracked working on a 1993 mod.

Which brings me to my random screenshot. First time I've seen an injury pop up during a tournament.

http://oi64.tinypic.com/2u61mz5.jpg

 11. Its only got like 100 fighters or so in it. Just everyone from the tournament of power. But I can upload of you want.
 12. When adding an injury, what does "Injury Occurs" do? The two options are fight/training and outside MMA. If I mark something "Outside MMA", does that mean that injury can only appear when a fighter is not currently booked for a fight or something?
 13.
I like it.

I was thinking about opening photoshop and making some tweaks myself because the flat colors and dark red look a little too 1995 webpage to me...but then I saw there were about 300 something menu assets I'd have to edit and noped out of there.

 14. Banned Warriors--I released it for WMMA4. I'm going to post an updated version for WMMA5 on release next week.
 15. Playing my DBZ Tournament of Power mod, which is even more fun now that one night tournaments are back. I've also edited the fight engine to severly gimp grappling. So far across more than a hundred matches I've only seen one submission. Picture is of a recent tournament. Vegeta upsetting Jiren was pretty cool.
 16.

Nope.

Thanks for adding this feature I didn't even know I wanted, btw. It makes a big difference in immersion for me to see that someone is out for 3 months because of a torn meniscus, as opposed to just "medium knee injury".

 17. Will adding more injuries in the editor, affect the overall injury frequency? I'm want to add more variety to injuries by just including, say 100 real life injuries types (things ranging from the flu to acl tears, for example. I don't know how the game calculates who and when gets an injury though, and I don't want to add 50 types of knee tears, only to find that means fighters injure their knees 50 times more often.
 18.
You didn't really give any specific reasons about why you think it is so great. "Interface, sleekness, and speed" are pretty vague buzzwords.

I don't want to devalue anyone's opinion, but this reads like a viral marketing post.
