1999 has finally come to a close. A lot of good happened. A ton of growth, a TV deal covering 3 regions with the downfall being it's free to air. We're making 100k+ a month. However, BHOTWG is killing my roster. In just the past 6 months I've lost Jeremy Stone, Duane Stone, Pablo Rodriguez, Richard Coleman, Rick Sanders and Big Cat Brandon. I can do without Brandon, Coleman and to a lesser extent, Sanders. But losing the Stones and Rodriguez is severely impacting my grades. All 3 were main eventers I could rely on to pull a 70 grade. Now instead of all my shows being high 60's to low 70's, I range from low 50's to low 70's. Now I'm deciding if the rush to cult should continue so I can sign my last couple great workers to writtens, or if I should say screw it and just build up a war chest of money to survive long-term at cult. On the really positive side, buying out P-Girls was a great move. Crusher Ichihara and Sensational Ogiwara are great. Thunder Hike just came back from injury and looks really good, too. Kit Hiyatoma will be back from maternity in 4 months, and I'll have 4 of the best women in the world. Knowing my luck, Burning Hammer will open a women's division and I'll lose them as well.

Finally got all my events made for my RTG promotion. Even made a logo, banner and TV show for it too! Anyone can feel free to use these if they'd like! So I downloaded a cursive type font from dafont and I'll just try to do something with that. Would be nice to have some of those fancy fonts for event names though. Ugh.</p>

How exactly do you make event logos? I've downloaded GIMP and been toying around a little bit just to make custom thumbnails, but that's all fairly simple. Where do you get the texts and images to make the logos? Or if you could point me in the direction of any tutorials, that would be awesome!

<p>Short form of the question... If I buy out all japanese women's feds, and take their workers via the buyout, with my company the ONLY place for the japanese ladies to work, would they then move location to Mid-South, thus becoming active in USA, enabling me to re-sign them once their contracts are expired? I'm regional btw, so it'd be PPA contracts.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Here's the scenario:</p><p> I'm a regional company, I just bought a Japanese women's fed. There's 1 women's fed left in Japan, but they're the 26th richest company in the world and considering Phoenix Girls is the 24th richest, and they're 90k in debt, WINNOW is surely in debt, and I can likely buy them out (if I so choose.)</p><p> </p><p> So here's my question, if I were to purchase both women's feds, leaving women's wrestling non-existent in Japan, would all the Japanese women's talent that I take via company takeover move location to Mid-South (USA) enabling me to resign them once their contracts are up? I'd love to use the Japanese women's talent because I'm a major perf over pop fed, but I also don't want to throw my entire bank down the drain for a year or two of good ratings using a women's division.</p>

<p>In my RTG in 97CV I'm Regional, charging hard towards Cult. I just lost Jeremy Stone, which is a massive blow due to my heavily perf over pop product. Luckily, I've been able to utilize his skillset over the past 12 months, so I have a lot more guys capable of putting on really good matches, but not quite solid enough to consistently put on B's like Jeremy Stone. That definitely hurts. Dan, and Duane are close, but Jeremy is the GOAT. PGHW have also signed one of my younger guys that I was about to start pushing. He's only 25 but has high 80's/90's stats. That's a bummer.</p><p> </p><p> Anyways, 5SSW went out of business, and P-Girls basically have all their top gals, and I'm debating whether or not to buy them out for a paltry 90k (about what I made last month, so not a huge financial burden) so I can have the sensational 3 and a couple of other GREAT women workers. Only problem is, I won't be able to resign them when their contracts are up because they're based in Japan, and I'm clearly not an international company.</p><p> </p><p> Another thing I could do, since they're not a very popular company and I have no need for Japanese pop, is to make them a dev company, but then I don't think I'd have access to the women that they sign. I really want to use the great Japanese talent, though. AGH! Decisions, decisions. They have another 3 months, so I have time to decide I suppose.</p>

<p>Just booked my first Wrestlemania-esque event. Sunday, Week 3, 1999. In front of 3600 souls in the Mid-South, WrestleBowl I feautured Nemesis vs Chris Carnage (user) for the BSE World title. I retained in my highest rated match to date with an 83! Also on the show, we had The Stones (Duane and Jeremy) defending their BSE tag team titles against the Spirit Warriors (Dark Eagle, Golden Scorpion) in my now second highest rated match (76) thus far. The show got my best show rating by a very large margin at a 78 B. </p><p> </p><p> Also, it was the final show to push my pop over 42 in the Mid-South, which means a Mid-South television deal!</p><p> </p><p> My RTG is going very well!</p>

They're definitely the real #1 promotion with HGC at a declining #2 (losing Bruce hurts so much, plus their main event scene is at the average age of 41 with 3 of them over 47) and then I'd say either me (TCW) or PGHW at #3 and then #4 is whoever isn't #3. <p> </p><p> </p><p> Just booked Total Mayhem II and Sensational Ogiwara won the title, I want her to enter the Hall of Immortals badly, so I am trying to give her a few title reigns to help this. I like to keep the women's title main event because they can go 20 minutes without penalty now and the women's match actually had motn so.. Total Mayhem III will be main evented by the Magic Three as I find the number 3 to be fitting, plus Ichihara is 37 and could hit decline soon knowing my luck and would want the 3 way match to happen with all 3 of them in their primes. The main event saw Jack Bruce win the title, getting his chance to main event Total Mayhem saw his HoI percentage hit 20% at the age of 31.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Out of curiosity do the Piledriver School of Wrestling churn out ridiculously great regens for you? I've quite literally hired every single one coming out and they have all 80+ SQ and are usually NBT or are already great workers, it's ridiculous.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I haven't really checked. I just hired some new midcard guys and a couple new main eventers to keep things fresh so I won't go on a hiring spree for another few months. <p>Seeing as you're multiple years ahead of me, it's interesting to see how the world plays out. Basically Burning Hammer is like SOTBPW is in the default db. That's crazy.</p><p> </p><p> Also, I have Lobby and both machines. Hopefully neither retire. I'm really hoping I can reach cult to lock down my technical workers. All 3 stones and Steve Flash I wanna lock up before I lose them. Unfortunately I'm a ways off.</p>

<p>Playing my RTG game in the 97 Cornell-Verse. Just had my 2 best matches in my very first show of 1999. As I posted in the RTG thread, NOTBPW was bought out by SWF in October of 98, so the Stones are all working for me exclusively (except when they tour with Hinote). </p><p> </p><p> My first ever 70 rated match featured Dan Stone Jr. vs Steve Flash in the one of the beginning matches. Then my main event, Jeremy & Duane Stone vs. Rick Sanders & Joel Kovach for the BSE Tag Titles came in at a 72! What a brilliant start to the year! </p><p> </p><p> Also, according to the figurehead screen, my user character is finally at the point where nobody overshadows him in the main event scene. Unfortunately, I'm only 75 baby face so that's a bit worrying. However, due to my user character becoming ripped, my SQ is 95 now, and with constant "Promo training" with the likes of Eric Tyler and Alex Braun on basically every show, my Charisma is up to 85.</p><p> </p><p> Really enjoying this RTG. I think I'll have a regional TV show covering my home area (Tri-State) within a couple of months. Also contemplating whether I should sign Nemesis to a PPA deal to get a couple matches out of him for ratings.</p>

Nemesis would sign for me, but he'd be nearly twice as much as anybody on my roster, and is so over he'd never agree to lose to anyone, so I think I'll stick with what I've got.</p><p> </p><p> We're almost at the end of 98, and we're chugging along quite comfortable. I've upgraded my production each of the last 3 months as I'm bringing in quite a lot of money. I've got pretty expensive talent at the top, and pretty cheap guys at the bottom to balance it out so we're bringing in about 20 grand a month. I can get a local TV deal in Mid-South once I hit 42 popularity, so that's what I'm chugging towards now. SWF has turned into a monster.</p>

The steroids are a very good thing early. They can help to raise his star quality I believe. He's awesome in the sense of the stories you can do with him being the son of the iron man. Otherwise, he's awful.

Book the big show with the arches you want then build the workers in those matches up to the big event.

I've been fishing for some MAW logos but I can't seem to find any. I know I've seen them on YouTube. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

<p>There was a Mod for 2013 that changed the popularity of a lot of guys, mostly indy guys. It made it to where you were popular in the region you worked, and relatively unknown everywhere else. Take for instance Roger Cage, he'd have overness in tri-state, but be unknown everywhere else. It made it a lot easier and realistic to book regional companies. Nothing I hate more than when my 40 pop guy all across the US wants to complain losing to my 80 pop 1 region guy!</p><p> </p><p> Anyways, was that mod ever converted over to 2016?</p>

<p>Big Money Brandon? With no Rich Money, he becomes that rich snobby heel, but not using it in a cowardly way. He uses it to get opportunities that he doesn't necessarily deserve. He flaunts his wealth by wearing fancy clothes and designer shades, expensive jewelry etc. Basically just overly obnoxious. You can bring Emma Chase off the table to manage him, or stick with Krissy. Perhaps he pays for a stable to beat the hell out of people and only works matches when he has something to gain financially or status whether is a title or stipulation that he wants to take advantage of. </p><p> </p><p> He's a very flexible character. I don't use him as face too much, so can't really help you there.</p>

Not at all. It's just another way to enjoy the game! I think I'm going to do another of these with the Thunderverse this time around. Starting from the bottom should help ke to learn more about that world. I've imported all the SWF logos. Just gotta get everything set up and I'll be good to go!

So I was thinking of recreating the SWF Eisen takeover storyline. Here's my idea... Richard Eisen goes to (kayfabe) prison because he seems like the egotistical 4 letter word that would make a joke out of that. Eric and Jerry begin fighting for control. This goes on for a couple of months. One of them gets taken out backstage so that the other can run the show for a while. Likely Jerry since it fits Eric's gimmick of wanting to send people to the hospital. Jerry returns a few months later after Eric has (shockingly) pissed off half the roster while in control. Jerry gets a few guys to join his side over the next couple months to fight against Eric and his "guys." So basically we now have an invasion esque angle in this storyline. After the two become tired of the other sabotaging the other's bookings, they agree to run the show on opposite weeks. Eric of course, doesn't play by the rules, so soon he begins to take back over and finally Jerry has had enough. Jerry's guys vs Eric's guys, winner takes the company. Survivor Series Elimination style. Eric is in the ring against a Jerry guy one on one at this point. Ref bump. As Eric looks set to capitalize and win the match, Jerry comes from behind him and hits him with a nut shot and beats the hell out of him with a singapore cane. Team Jerry wins. Jerry, now with full control, books his brother to his breaking point putting him in multiple matches per night, gauntlets etc etc. Jerry books him against a monster. Gargantuan, Marat, whoever you have on your roster. Giant destroys Eric, rendering him out and useless. Jerry runs the show very well for the next couple months. Richard Eisen gets released from prison and shows up at Supreme TV. He gets wind of what happened while he was out. Furious, he goes to Jerry who wants nothing from Richard and shoves him to floor declaring it's his show now. Richard uses his connections and experience to have Jerry Eisen suspended so he can regain his footing as the owner. Jerry comes back and Richard gives him a chance he can't pass up. Richard picks a guy, Jerry picks a guy. Winner takes full control of the company, loser leaves forever. Jerry spends the months leading up to Supreme Challenge recruiting the perfect guy. He tries Joey Morgan, Brandon James, Rogue, Remo and finally finds his guy. Jack Bruce. Richard Eisen is stunned, but Bruce tells him it's just business. The night of Supreme Challenge, Bruce comes out for his match with Jerry in his corner. Richard has yet to announce who is fighting for him although you can likely guess it. Eric Eisen makes his return to start another chapter in his story with Jack Bruce. From there it's a few ways to go. Bruce can go over and start a heel run in the twilight of his career. Eric can go over and hit the supremacy on Jerry. Thoughts? Has anyone ever redone that storyline?
