1. Thanks! I say go for it, despite the similar dynasties. I've never been much of a dynasty reader myself since I prefer to avoid letting other writers' ideas and storylines influence my own, but if I were, I would have no problem reading and enjoying multiple dynasties from the same period.
 2. Real World. Although I also have a pretty good start on a CVerse dynasty with CZCW that I would love to post eventually as well. Truth be told, I'd probably already be pretty deep into posting a dynasty if it hadn't taken me so long to decide which one I wanted to do first.
 3. Unless something unforeseen comes up, there will be at least one more fairly soon! 😉 And it may very well reach 40 pages even if no one replies! Best laid plans and all that, though.
 4. The Pain Division The Hard Truth Iron Will The Iron Fist The Iron Curtain
 5. Looking for tag team chemistry in pre-show matches in my 2016 CZCW dynasty, I teamed up Princeton Pryce and Robbie Wright and they had excellent chemistry. I named them The Pryce is Wright and they went on to be multiple time tag champs. Edit: I forgot to mention their finisher, which was a tilt-a-whirl DDT from the Doomsday Device position called the "Come on Down" as in "Come on down, you're the next contestant on the Price is Right!"
 6. CZCW has always been my favorite, but I've never played the Alternate 2018 mod. What's up with them in that mod that causes you to really hate them?
 7. Click "Skills" in their profile and it's on the right under the "Physical Health" heading. Under that are arrows that allow you to scroll between current injuries, old injuries, and injuries caused.
 8. Does anyone have a definitive answer for this? I've seen a lot of conflicting info on the subject.
 9. Maybe I've overlooked it, but I've never seen a clear and concise answer to this question despite it being asked many times. I'd really like to know this as well if anyone knows.
 10. Thank you very much for doing these, Walter. They're very nice and really clean looking! After making the initial request, I decided to go ahead and take a crack at these myself just in case no one else had time. I figure I'm not always going to be lucky enough for someone to take the time to do logos for me, so I might as well try to figure it out for myself. They're not great, but I think a few of them turned out pretty good. If I can just figure out how to keep more of the quality when I resize the canvas to 150 x 150, I think I'd be in business. Also, kudos to CQ113 for the logos he did for me, since I ended up using the same logos as he used for about half of these.

 12. I know it's a long long longshot for a request of this size, but you never know if you don't ask. I'm planning a very long-term save and hopefully dynasty with CZCW and I'll be bringing back the Texas Wrestling League as a dev company and I need some event pics for them. I tried doing these myself, but I just can't get anything to turn out looking decent in paint.net. I used to be fairly competent with photoshop many years ago, but don't have access to it anymore and have forgot most of what I knew. Anyway, these are the event names: TWL Texas Revolution TWL Texas Two Step TWL The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly TWL True Grit TWL King of Texas TWL The Unforgiven TWL High Noon TWL Once Upon a Time In The West TWL Young Guns TWL The Texas Panhandle Massacre TWL South of the Border TWL Wanted: Dead or Alive TWL Wild Wild Wednesday - TV Show For reference, this is the outstanding logo I'm using for the company courtesy of willr0ck's graphics thread, so big thanks to him. Like I said, I know such a large request is a longshot, but I'd appreciate absolutely any help at all with any of these. Thanks!
 13. I haven't played with the Cverse at all in 2020 but I hate to hear that Darryl Devine has ended up as dead weight. I had a ton of fun and success booking him as a heel world champion in my 2016 CZCW save. He got as high as #14 on the Power 500 before I dropped him down to the upper midcard toward the end of the save.
 14. I've actually been contemplating a diary based on pretty much this exact scenario for the past few years, but the time to commit to such a venture never seems to materialize. In the latest version I've been pondering, Pee Wee inherits his father's billions after his death and starts the Germaine Entertainment Network(GEN) in an attempt to compete with Reverie, turning CZCW into a "wrestling as a sport" type company with full MMA style weight classes. The CZCW Championship would then become a yearly "achievement" title decided at the December PPV in a Best of the Best Tournament featuring the champion of every weight class. Cliff would be the full-time lead announcer in this scenario with a yearly Tag Tournament, the Cliff Anderson Classic, ran in his honor as a token of Pee Wee's appreciation.
 15.

I really want to do a MITB type gimmick with WCW in 91, but a multi man ladder match is a little "too much" for 1991.

Was thinking of calling it the Golden Ticket, but trying to come up with a good match type.

Any ideas?

I really like the name Golden Ticket. It's what I named the MITB type match in my CZCW dynasty from a few years ago.

Since it's 1991, maybe you could just put the prize on a pole in the corner instead of hanging it from the ceiling. I'm not personally a fan of the "on a pole" match type, but they were common enough during the period to not seem out of place, but not so common that it would be super stale.

Or maybe you could just do a straight-up 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 etc. match with the first man to score a pinfall or submission getting the Golden Ticket. You could make it elimination instead, but I think going the sudden death route makes it more exciting.

If it being elimination style isn't a problem, then how about something like the Elimination Chamber but without the cage? 6 or 8 or 10 men draw numbers and numbers 1 and 2 start the match with a new guy entering every 5 minutes. Eliminations occur by pinfall or submission and the last man standing wins. May be a little too similar to War Games if you're currently running those though.

What about something like the Championship Scramble that WWE used to do with the last guy to score a pinfall or submission winning the Golden Ticket instead of a title?

 16. Oh, I forgot to mention something in the WWF Championship section. After Savage returned at Wrestlemania to help Hogan beat Flair, he would go into a blood feud with Flair over the Elizabeth situation. This would result in a series of matches, each more violent than the last, with the final match being a feud-ending Last Man Standing Match at Summerslam that Savage would've won.
 17. **I apologize in advance for any grammar mistakes you may find in this, as due to its length and informal nature, I didn't proofread it as closely as I normally do.** As promised, here's a mostly semi-detailed run down of my plans for this dynasty through Wrestlemania 8 and in some cases more vague plans through Summerslam. I'll start by posting the results of the SNME PPV that I was due to post just before I made the call to start a different dynasty. Saturday Night's Main Event: Fade To Black December 28th, 1991 Owen Hart defeated Larry Zbyszko Hawk & Steve Williams defeated Money Inc. after botched interference by Sid. Bull Nakano defeated Madusa by DQ in a WWF Women's Championship match after Nakano's partner The Ripper attacked her as she was about to win by submission. After the match, The Ripper continued to attack Nakano saying the title shot should've been hers since she's the one that pinned Rockin' Robin at Survivor Series. When British Bulldog was due to come out to face Kevin Sullivan, Commissioner Graham came out instead and announced Bulldog had been assaulted backstage earlier in the show and suffered a lacerated kidney. He questions whether Sullivan knows anything about that, but Sullivan poorly feigns innocence. Graham wipes the smirk off his face by announcing Bulldog's brother-in-law Bret Hart will take Bulldog's place. In reality, I had sent Bulldog to rehab after another failed Hard Drugs test earlier in the week. Bret Hart squashed Kevin Sullivan in just under 5 minutes. Despite the best efforts of Nikita Koloff to interfere, Sgt. Slaughter failed in his bid to retain the IC title from Scott Norton, losing even faster than he had at Survivor Series. Sting wins his in-ring WWF debut over Smash. Vader squashed Jake Roberts with little trouble and assaulted him some more post-match. Paul Orndorff defeated Mr. Perfect by DQ when Larry Hennig attacked Orndorff who'd been threatening him the entire match just as Perfect was about to win. The Undertaker defeated Crush by DQ when the Ultimate Warrior unexpectedly returned early pushing the same casket Undertaker had locked him in at Survivor Series and attacked Undertaker. Hulk Hogan & Bam Bam Bigelow defeated The Natural Disasters. Shawn Michaels accepted Roddy Piper's invitation to show up for a special Piper's Pit episode. He brought Brian Pillman with him and Piper nearly managed to get them to fight each other by taunting Pillman about Michaels leaving him behind at Survivor Series. In the end, though, they just attacked Piper instead and left him out cold with a double superkick. Ric Flair defeated Randy Savage to win the WWF Heavyweight Championship when Ric Flair's master plan had its finishing touch added as Miss Elizabeth turned on Savage to help Flair win. She was in on it all along! After the match, Flair and Liz would kiss while they stood over a downed Savage.
Now, on to my plans for January through Wrestlemania 8, with a few plans through Summerslam thrown in. WWF Championship: After Liz turned on him at SNME: Fade To Black, Randy Savage goes on hiatus to find himself and says he doesn't know when or if he'll ever be back. This leaves no # 1 contender to Flair's title, so Commissioner Graham announces that the winner of the 1992 Royal Rumble will face Flair for the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania 8. Hulk Hogan wins the Royal Rumble, last eliminating Vader, to become the #1 Contender. Between Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania, jobber Scott Taylor informs Hogan that he saw who attacked him at Summerslam in August. It wasn't The Dragon or Bam Bam Bigelow, it was actually Ric Flair, Vader, and Rick Rude who blindsided Hogan and tried to cripple him. Flair doesn't deny it, saying his plan from the start was to take out Hogan once and for all. Flair and company injure Taylor for telling Hogan what they'd done, putting him in the hospital. Hogan vows revenge, telling Flair he'll wish he'd never been born after Wrestlemania 8. At Wrestlemania 8, Taylor's "injuries" are proven to be a ruse on the part of Flair and company, as he tries to attack Hogan to help Flair retain. And it would have worked too, were it not for those meddling k.... were it not for a returning Randy Savage. Savage nails Flair with a pair of brass knucks, allowing Hogan to hit the Big Leg Drop and win the title. Hogan would go on to successfully defend the title in April against Larry Zbyszko, and May against Rick Rude, before losing it to Vader at King of the Ring. On that same King of the Ring card, The British Bulldog wins the King of the Ring Tournament by beating Shawn Michaels in the finals. He's injured post-match though, by new WWF Champion Vader, who was set to face the King of the Ring winner at Summerslam in Wembley Stadium. Bulldog will now miss Summerslam. At the July SNME, Vader retains in a rematch with Hogan, after The Dragon returns with Yokozuna to attack Hogan. This drags Hogan out of the title picture, possibly for good, as the point of giving him the title was to fully establish Vader as a permanent main eventer. With British Bulldog no longer able to face Vader at Summerslam, Commissioner Graham allows Bulldog to name his replacement for the title shot. Bulldog picks his Brother-in-law, Bret Hart. Vader retains the WWF Championship against Bret Hart at Summerslam in Wembley when The British Bulldog levels Hart with a steel chair while he has Vader locked in the Sharpshooter, giving Hart the win by DQ but not the title. Bulldog would later admit he was jealous of Bret and couldn't stomach the thought of Hart winning the title in his home country when it was Bulldog's title shot in the first place. And that's about as far as I got with my plans for the WWF World Heavyweight title. I'm not sure who Vader would have feuded with after Summerslam, but I planned on him having a very long reign. WWF Intercontinental Championship: Nikita Koloff challenges Scott Norton to a Russian Chain match for the title at Royal Rumble and Norton accepts. Norton retains the title and while attacking Koloff and Sgt. Slaughter with the chain post-match, he's attacked by a returning Big Boss Man. If you'll remember, it was Norton and Koloff who had "broken" Boss Man's arm back in November. Boss Man feels he's the rightful #1 contender since he was due a title shot when Koloff and Norton injured him, and therefore he challenges Norton to title match for Wrestlemania 8. He would prefer to do it now but he's not been medically cleared yet. Norton agrees to give Boss Man the shot but it has to be at SNME in February and not Wrestlemania 8, injury or no injury. Commissioner Graham isn't having that though and says the match will indeed be at Wrestlemania 8. Norton retains against Bam Bam Bigelow with Boss Man at ringside at February's SNME. Norton tries to reinjure Boss Man's arm post-match but officials break it up. Norton mocks Boss Man for having to have officials save him from Norton, but Boss Man says Norton will wish he had someone to protect him at Wrestlemania when justice is finally served. Norton suggests that if Boss Man is so confident they should make things interesting and make their match at Wrestlemania 8 a Steel Cage match! No refs, no pins, no "officials" or security to rescue Boss Man, just a fight to escape with your life and the Intercontinental title. Boss Man accepts. Norton dominates Boss Man in the cage match at Wrestlemania 8, ripping the side of the cage down to escape. I didn't have anything concrete planned past Wrestlemania 8 for the IC title, other than a fairly long undefeated streak for Norton. Some guys I had in mind to potentially end the streak were Sid, Razor Ramon, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Sting, Brian Pillman, Texas Tornado, or Cactus Jack. WWF Tag Team Championship: After accidentally costing Money Inc. the match at SNME: Fade To Black against Hawk and Steve Williams, Sid assures DiBiase that he'll do better at the Royal Rumble. Ted DiBiase is sure he will. Or else! Sid faces Steve Williams on an episode of Prime Time where Sid reluctantly wins following Ted DiBiase interference. Sid is mad post-match, telling DiBiase he didn't need his help. Cooler heads eventually prevail. On the "go home" episode of Prime Time the next week, Money Inc. loses to Haku and The Barbarian when Ted DiBiase eats the pin from Haku while arguing with Sid. DiBiase gets in Sid's face after the match and gets Powerbombed to a huge pop. Sid isn't at ringside with Money Inc. at the Royal Rumble after attacking DiBiase on Prime Time. However, he interferes late in the match and helps Money Inc. retain after teasing that he would help Hawk and Williams instead. After the match, Money Inc. celebrates as Sid accepts a briefcase full of cash from DiBiase. Haku & Barbarian are named #1 contenders for Money Inc. for February's SNME since they beat Money Inc. on Prime Time two weeks ago. Money Inc. defeats Haku and Barbarian at SNME after interference by Sid. A 3 on 2 post-match beatdown is stopped by Nikita Koloff and Sgt. Slaughter. Koloff and Slaughter say they've decided to team up, named Scars and Stripes, and they challenge Money Inc. to a tag title match at Wrestlemania 8. They say they're tired of seeing Money Inc. retain through cheating over and over. They've both done their fair share of cheating, regrettably, so they know what it's like and never want to see another victim of it. Money Inc. agrees to face Scars and Stripes but only if it's a 3 on 2 Handicap match with Sid as their partner. Scars and Stripes accept but they've added a stipulation of their own courtesy of Commissioner Graham. If Scars and Stripes win, Money Inc. doesn't get the standard rematch afforded them by contract clause AND DiBiase will be banned from the tag tea, division for life! It's agreed. Scars and Stripes win the tag titles at Wrestlemania 8 when DiBiase gets in Sid's face and gets Powerbombed, allowing Koloff to pin DiBiase. After the match, Sid Powerbombs I.R.S. too and celebrates with Koloff and Slaughter. Sid would have gone on to feud with DiBiase culminating in a match at Summerslam that Sid would win. From there, I would have mostly used DiBiase to put over future stars and Sid would have moved into the IC title picture with multiple World titles probably in his future. To see what I had in store for the tag titles as I moved toward Summerslam, please see the bottom of the WWF Television Championship section. WWF Women's Championship: After The Ripper costs her partner, Bull Nakano, her title match versus Madusa at SNME: Fade To Black, Madusa informs The Ripper that she's welcome to take a shot at the title if she thinks she has what it takes to take it. The Fabulous Moolah says it was just a misunderstanding amongst her clients and Bull Nakano wants a rematch for the title at the Royal Rumble instead of The Ripper. The Madusa/Nakano rematch is signed for Royal Rumble but Madusa tells The Ripper she can have her shot after all once Madusa is done with Nakano. The Royal Rumble sees The Ripper cost Nakano the title again, pulling the referee out of the ring as he was about to count Madusa down for the 3. Graham announces Bull Nakano vs. The Ripper for February's SNME. The winner gets a shot at Madusa's title at Wrestlemania 8. The Fabulous Moolah is irate at the Nakano vs. Ripper match made for SNME but Nakano looks pleased in the background. Moolah says Graham should have let her settle this internally. Either way though, one of hers will be wearing the gold after Wrestlemania. The Ripper wins at SNME after Rockin' Robin returns from injury and hits Ripper and Nakano with chair shots at the same time while the ref is down, causing Ripper to fall on Nakano. Rockin' Robin taunts The Ripper and Nakano and says she's not through with them yet! Moolah challenges Madusa and Robin to a Survivor Series rematch against Nakano and Ripper. Madusa and Robin win after pinning Nakano with a double-team move. The Ripper could have broken up the pin but didn't. Moolah says The Ripper and Nakano pairing is no more as they just can't coexist with the same aspirations. Moolah says she has to back the potential champ The Ripper though, severing ties with Nakano. Madusa beats The Ripper at Wrestlemania 8 after both Bull Nakano and Rockin' Robin attack The Ripper. Madusa and Robin try to align with Nakano post-match but she takes out both women. I had several ideas about where to go from there but hadn't decided 100% what I would do just yet. I thought about feuding Madusa with Moolah herself for a bit. Or maybe a face vs. face feud with Rockin' Robin. Or maybe an old meets new feud with Wendi Richter. Either way, it would have all likely worked its way back to Bull Nakano by Summerslam to see who the better woman was without all the interference and unclean finishes their first two matches had. All I know is I just didn't want to go straight back into Nakano so soon since a lot of my "women of the future" just weren't quite ready yet. WWF Television Championship: Michael P.S. Hayes gets his rematch with Sir Dave Taylor but Taylor retains for his second defense. I then released Hayes since the injury he suffered a few weeks back was majorly affecting his performances and would have for over another year. I didn't have anything else planned for him anyway. Taylor makes his 3rd successful defense, defeating Tito Santana on Prime Time. Taylor makes his 4th and 5th successful defenses of the title by defeating The Rebels, Steve Armstrong and Tracy Smothers, in back-to-back weeks to finish out the month. Taylor then goes on to feud with Atsushi Onita, who wins the title from Taylor on the third try after Taylor had made 8 successful defenses. Onita makes a few defenses before losing the title to Shane Douglas courtesy of Taylor. Taylor then takes the title back from Douglas and goes on to make 10 successful defenses. This of course allows Taylor to chose either a $10,000 reward and the chance to go for $20,000 if he can make 20 successful defenses, or a shot at either the Intercontinental or Tag Team titles if he chooses to forfeit the TV title. Taylor chooses to vacate the TV title and challenge for the Tag Team titles, naming Lord William Regal as his tag team partner. Taylor and Regal decide to retain The Genius as their manager and dub themselves The Blue Bloods. They would go on to challenge and defeat Scars and Stripes(Koloff and Slaughter) for the tag team titles at Summerslam in their home country of England at Wembley Stadium. The Ultimate Warrior, Sting, and Crush vs. The Army of Darkness Feud After returning way earlier than expected from the Army of Darkness attack at Survivor Series, The Ultimate Warrior is granted a request by Commissioner Billy Graham to finish things with The Undertaker once and for all in a Casket Match at the Royal Rumble. It's announced that Cactus Jack's suspension for attacking Commissioner Graham is up and that he will face Sting at the Royal Rumble. Crush beats Kevin Sullivan in a match on Prime Time and a post-match attack by Smash is thwarted with authority by Crush. Smash repeatedly tries to attack Crush over the next few weeks, failing miserably each time. During that same period, he also loses multiple matches to people he should've beaten, culminating with a loss to 2 Cold Scorpio. After that match, on the orders of Paul Bearer, Smash is left in a heap by Hercules and Kevin Sullivan. Bearer later scolds Sullivan and Smash for all their recent losses, saying The Undertaker is counting on them to turn things around or else. Crush vs. Hercules is signed for Royal Rumble, as Bearer tells Sullivan and Smash that Hercules will show them how it's done. Crush beats Hercules at the Royal Rumble after another failed interference attempt by Smash, leading to Smash being beaten down again by Sullivan and Hercules post-match and kicked out of the Army of Darkness. Crush takes pity on Smash and saves him from the beatdown before it goes too far. Demolition would later reform for one night only to beat Hercules and Kevin Sullivan at February's SNME. At the Royal Rumble, the Sting vs. Cactus Jack match quickly descends into chaos and has to be thrown out as a no contest. Undertaker defeats Ultimate Warrior in the Casket Match at the Royal Rumble. Post-match, despite the best efforts of Sting and Crush, Cactus Jack, Hercules, and Kevin Sullivan help Undertaker seal Warrior in the casket and roll it away, putting Sullivan and Hercules back in Undertaker and Bearer's good graces. With Warrior "defeated", Paul Bearer and The Undertaker challenge the winner of the Flair vs. Hogan WWF Championship match at Wrestlemania 8. Commissioner Graham says they can forget it and instead gives Sting the chance to avenge Warrior by setting up a match against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 8. In the lead-up to Wrestlemania 8, Cactus Jack continuously attacks Sting to try and soften him up for Undertaker. He attacks him backstage, in parking lots, and before and after matches. Sting accuses Undertaker of being scared and says he can't face Undertaker at Wrestlemania if he's always looking over his shoulder for Cactus. Commissioner Graham agrees and sets up a Falls Count Anywhere match between Sting and Cactus Jack at February's SNME. And he bars all Army of Darkness members from ringside for Wrestlemania. Cactus Jack beats Sting in the FCA match at SNME when Undertaker interferes and Tombstones Sting on some exposed concrete backstage. Sting has an injured neck but still faces Undertaker at Wrestlemania 8. He loses though when The Ultimate Warrior returns and attacks Sting, joining The Army of Darkness. Shortly after Warrior turns heel and joins the Army of Darkness, Hercules is kicked out because he and Warrior can't co-exist. This pisses off Cactus Jack who says Undertaker is getting out of control, first kicking out Smash and now Hercules for basically nothing. Not to mention Army of Darkness members being forced to attack other members every time they lose a match. Cactus and Undertaker almost brawl but Bearer has to break them up. Kevin Sullivan volunteers to teach Cactus a lesson and put him in his place behind The Undertaker and Warrior. Bearer reluctantly agrees and so does Cactus. A match is set for King of the Ring. Cactus beats Sullivan at KOTR and Sullivan is relentlessly beaten by Undertaker and Warrior post-match. Cactus tells Sullivan he told him so, but Sullivan says it's his own fault that Undertaker and Warrior had to do what they did. Cactus says if Sullivan hasn't learned by now he's not going to and is, therefore, a lost cause. So, he'll have to go straight to the head of the beast, challenging Undertaker to a match at July's SNME. Bearer denies the challenge and says Undertaker will only face Cactus, at Summerslam, if he can beat Warrior at July's SNME First. Cactus agrees. Cactus beats Warrior at SNME with help from Sting, setting up Cactus Jack vs. Undertaker and Sting vs. Ultimate Warrior for Summerslam. The Cactus vs. Undertaker match later has the stipulation added that if Cactus Jack wins, The Army of Darkness must be dismantled. And the Sting vs. Warrior match would be made into a Loser Leaves WWF match. Cactus and Sting would both win. Mr. Perfect w/ Larry Hennig vs. Paul Orndorff Feud In an emotional interview, Larry Hennig apologizes to his son for costing him the match against Orndorff at SNME: Fade To Black, and says he'll get out of his hair. Perfect convinces him he's too hard on himself and that he should stay. Orndorff mocks the Hennigs for being crybabies. Mr. Perfect informs Orndorff he's been granted a rematch by Commissioner Graham since nothing was settled at SNME: Fade To Black, telling Orndorff that he'll be the one crying after Royal Rumble! Orndorff says it's obvious that Perfect doesn't know when to leave well enough alone, but it's about time he learns once and for all. Larry Hennig turns on Mr. Perfect at the Royal Rumble, giving Orndorff a fast and easy win. Bobby Heenan is vindicated, as it was Larry Hennig pulling the strings with Orndorff and his attacks on Perfect, and not Heenan as everyone had thought after he lost his managerial license at Summerslam thanks to Perfect. Perfect is distraught and can't figure out why his father would do this to him. Larry tells him that he's ashamed of him and that if he's so "perfect", he should be able to figure out Larry's motivations. Commissioner Graham offers Perfect another shot at Orndorff with Larry banned from ringside at February's SNME, but Perfect says he's in no shape to wrestle so soon and maybe never again. Graham says he'll give WWF's newest signing Terry Taylor a crack at Orndorff instead. Perfect interferes at SNME, giving Terry Taylor the win over Orndorff. Perfect almost punches his father after the match but decides against it. Perfect says he doesn't know what Larry's problem is, but after thinking about it some more and as much as it pains him, he guesses he'll just have to beat an answer out of him. After he deals with Orndorff once and for all at Wrestlemania 8. Larry says there's no need to be melodramatic, he'll be happy to tell Perfect his reasons. If he beats Orndorff at Mania that is. Perfect says no more games, win lose or draw, at Wrestlemania, he'll get his answer. Perfect wins at Wrestlemania despite repeated attempts at cheating by Larry. After the match, Perfect corners Larry, who pleads with Orndorff to help but Orndorff scoffs in disgust and leaves. Perfect threatens his father with a beating if he doesn't tell him why he did this. When Larry still won't say, Perfect asks for a mic. He says he's not gonna stoop to Larry's level and attack family. Larry's reasons for what he did are probably BS anyway. And Perfect turned out to be right as Larry would later admit that he was just upset at Perfect for using the narcissistic Mr. Perfect gimmick instead of just continuing to use his real name as Larry had begged him to do. Shawn Michaels and Brian Pillman vs. Roddy Piper feud: After Michaels and Pillman took out Piper in Piper's Pit at SNME: Fade To Black, Piper wants Michaels at the Royal Rumble. Micheals turns him down, saying he's not wrestling twice at the Royal Rumble since he's already thrown his name into the Royal Rumble match. And there's especially no way he's backing out now with a WWF Championship match going to the winner. Piper says that's fine, he'll still see Michaels at the Royal Rumble since he's in the match too. Micheals is eliminated from the Royal Rumble before Piper enters, but not before he eliminates his friend Pillman from the match. The next night on Prime Time, Micheals convinces a furious Pillman that he was just doing what he had to to try and win the title shot at Wrestlemania 8 and that Piper is the real enemy. This leads Pillman to challenge Piper for a match at February's SNME. Piper scolds Pillman for being a lackey to Micheals when he could be so much more and accepts his challenge. He then issues a challenge of his own. After he beats some sense into Pillman at SNME, he wants Michaels for Wrestlemania. Micheals agrees saying just like he told Piper before Survivor Series, any time any place. And what better place than Wrestlemania! Michaels' selfishness costs Pillman his match with Piper at SNME, which leads to a Pillman face turn as he brawls with Michaels post-match. Piper and Pillman taunt Micheals and assure him he doesn't have to worry about Pillman interfering at Wrestlemania, since Piper doesn't want any excuses from Micheals when he kicks his ass! Micheals says good riddance to Pillman, saying tag team partners, or sidekicks in this case, have been nothing but a headache to him in his entire career. It's high time he counts on the only person in the world he can trust to help him get to the top, The Heartbreak Kid himself! "See you at Wrestlemania, geezer!" Michaels wins clean at Wrestlemania. Piper tries to shake his hand after the match, saying Michaels was tougher than he thought but Michaels drops him with a Sweet Chin Music. Other feuds leading up to Wrestlemania 8: With the Jake Roberts and Vader feud ending at SNME: Fade To Black, Jake says he's lost on where to go now that he couldn't get the job done against Vader. But he figures there's no better way to move on than to focus on the biggest prize in the business, announcing his entry into the first-ever #1 contender to the WWF Championship Royal Rumble match. Roberts of course wouldn't win that match, as that honor went to Hulk Hogan as seen above. Instead, he was eliminated from behind by Bret Hart. Roberts is irate, screaming at Hart that he thought they were friends, to which Hart simply replied that it was every man for himself. A few weeks later, Owen Hart, accompanied by Bret Hart, is facing Rick Rude on Prime Time. Owen wins after interference from Hulk Hogan, who you'll remember is feuding with Flair and company after Hogan won the Royal Rumble. After the match, Zbyszko runs down and a post-match brawl ensues between Rude/Zbyskzo and the Hart brothers. The heels eventually get the advantage when Zybskzo knocks out Bret with brass knucks and handcuffs him to the ropes. They're about to do the same to Owen, but Jake Roberts makes the save, scaring Rude and Zybskzo away by threatening to release Lucifer. Jake checks on Bret and helps Owen up only to DDT him! Bret is in shock but still handcuffed to the ropes so he can't do anything to stop Roberts. Roberts then ties Owen up in the ropes opposite Bret and reveals that the bag doesn't contain Lucifer, but a King Cobra instead! Roberts taunts Owen with the snake before letting it bite him as Bret looks on helplessly. After successfully keeping officials and paramedics at bay for several minutes, Roberts removes the cobra from Owen's arm and makes his exit. As he's leaving, he reminds Hart of what he told Jake at Royal Rumble, it's every man for himself! Gene Okerlund is with Bret and Jim Neidhart the next week for an update on Owen's condition. They say he'll make a full recovery since the snake bite was a nearly "dry bite", which is a medical term for a bite where a snake releases either no or nearly no venom. Bret is asked about revenge but says Owen's health comes first right now and he'll deal with Roberts later. Roberts cuts a heel turn promo about losing his edge, otherwise Vader would have known better than to mess with him. He doesn't blame Vader though and no longer holds a grudge since he would have done the same thing if he hadn't gone soft. So it's back to his old ways. He thought he and Bret were friends but found out how wrong he was when Bret eliminated him from behind in the Royal Rumble. He finishes the promo by saying his attack on Owen was only the beginning and that Bret can expect similar but likely harsher treatment very soon. Jim Neidhart would return to face Vader, the man who had put him out of action at SNME: Vengeance in October, at February's SNME. Vader wins and destroys both Neidhart and Owen Hart post-match. Bret Hart tries to help but Roberts ambushes him when he comes through the arena curtain and hits a DDT on the exposed concrete. As Vader is heading to the back after he's finished with Neidhart and Owen, he passes a still seated from the DDT Roberts on the aisle. Roberts leers up at him momentarily before his lip curls into an evil smile. Roberts is interviewed on the next Prime Time by Gene Okerlund who questions Roberts' lack of a snake when he attacked Bret Hart at SNME. Roberts said he had plans to deliver a similar fate to Bret as Owen, but Commissioner Graham said he would be fired if he ever brought a venomous snake to a WWF event again. Okerlund informs Roberts that Bret Hart has asked for and been granted a no disqualification match with Roberts for Wrestlemania 8. Roberts is pleased. On the "go home" Prime Time, Bret cuts a promo on Roberts. He says Roberts is always telling people to trust him, but Hart never has and never will. But Jake Roberts can trust that Bret Hart is the best there is, was, and ever will be, and he can trust that there will be hell to pay at Wrestlemania 8 for what he did to Owen. Bret Hart beats Roberts at Wrestlemania, forcing him to pass out in a pool of his own blood to the Sharpshooter after Hart had hit Roberts with a DDT on the ring bell.
Texas Torndo w/ Tatanka vs. The Berzerker on Prime Time. While Berzerker has Tornado down late in the match, Terry Funk attacks Tatanka again. Unlike at Survivor Series, Tornado intervenes and attacks Funk, but not until he'd already busted Tatanka open. Two weeks later on Prime Time, Tornado and Tatanka are in the ring with Commissioner Graham who says he has no choice but to fire Tornado for breaking his contract stipulation about not being allowed to fight Funk after SNME: Vengeance. Funk comes out to gloat which causes Graham to change his mind and "let it slide just this once." Funk is beside himself. While Tatanka is ringside with Tornado during the Royal Rumble match, he's attacked by Funk. Tatanka holds back at first but finally fights back, besting Funk to a massive roar from the crowd. Funk challenges Tatanka to a match at February's SNME but Tornado says Tatanka isn't ready as his training isn't complete. Tatanka disagrees, finally breaking his silence since joining the WWF. Commissioner Graham says Tatanka may think he's ready to face Funk but he'll take the word of the veteran Tornado that he isn't and not put a potentially under-trained wrestler in danger by signing a match with a deranged veteran like Funk. However, he's also got a feeling that Tatanka may be more ready than Tornado thinks otherwise he wouldn't be so insistent. Therefore, Graham will sign Funk vs. Tatanka for Wrestlemania 8 if Tatanka can prove himself before then against some non-Funk level competition. So, Graham's lined up a series of 4 "tryout" matches for Tatanka starting at February's SNME vs. Finlay, with one to follow each of the following 3 weeks on Prime Time. If Graham feels Tatanka is ready after these matches he'll give the go-ahead for Wrestlemania. Tatanka wins all 4 "tryout" matches, beating Finlay at SNME, and Cpl. Parker, Greg Valentine, and Buddy Landel on the 3 Prime Time's that followed. Graham declares he's seen enough, and Funk vs. Tatanka is on for Wrestlemania. Tornado still isn't convinced since Funk's a completely different animal than the other guys Tatanka has faced, but Graham says the decision is final. A happy Funk interrupts and goes face to face with Tatanka, poking him in the chest and calling him derogatory names trying to pick a fight. Why? Well, Terry Funk is crazy! Tatanka attacks but Funk pulls out a foreign object and knocks Tatanka out and rolls him out of the ring. Tornado seems about to attack but Graham holds him back while calling for security. Funk pulls up the ringside mats and is about to piledrive Tatanka on the exposed floor but security and officials break it up just in time. Tatanka defeats Funk at Wrestlemania and when Tornado tries to congratulate him after the match Tatanka attacks him. Funk recovers and applauds Tatanka only to be attacked as well. Tatanka will go on to be a "tweener" from here, fighting both faces and heels, and probably Tornado at Summerslam. Maybe before though, as I hadn't written that far ahead for either character. Tatanka says that although he already thought it to be the case based on how his ancestors were treated, Tornado not being willing to sacrifice himself for his friend's well-being confirmed that Tatanka can't trust anyone.
So, that's most of my plans for January through Wrestlemania 8 and in some cases vaguely through Summerslam. The only things I really left out were a side-feud where Owen Hart was still trying to get revenge on Flair's guys for injuring Jim Neidhart, culminating in a Wrestlemania 8 match with Vader, and a few minor feuds on my "B" shows. Thanks again to everyone who read, commented, and predicted in this dynasty! Hopefully, I'll see you all in my new dynasty thread when I get it going.
 18. Thanks for the kind words and encouragement, everyone! And since there was sufficient interest in seeing what I had planned through WM8, I'll try to get a semi-detailed rundown of those plans posted later today or tomorrow.

 20. Dynasty Update I'm sorry to say that after much deliberation I've decided to end this dynasty. There's a multitude of reasons why, but there are two reasons that stand out above the others. 1.) I've signed practically every decent worker available either for my main roster or developmental company, leaving WCW with nothing but the scraps and my castoffs to build a roster with. This leads to wretched cards from my main competition like the Starrcade card I posted a few posts back. Just go back and take a look at it if you didn't see it before. I mean, Steve Disalvo? Keith Hart? Mike Shaw? Rip Rogers? Moondog Rex? Samoan Savage? A 48! year old Harley Race? It's just so bad and it makes the game world outside my own company very dull. 2.) Due in part to point number 1, I now have a strong urge to do a dynasty where I control both WWF and WCW. I thought about just adding a second user character to this save in the editor and taking over WCW that way, but with the state of their roster and with the overwhelming amount of big-name talent I already have locked up to long-term deals, I just think it's best if I start with a clean slate. So that's what I'm going to do. There's obviously a lot of details to be ironed out, like deciding which company gets to sign which free agents and things of that nature, but I've got some ideas that I think will work. It might be a bit before I get the new dynasty going, but I hope everyone will give it a chance considering this is the third or fourth time I've stopped a dynasty before finishing it. I'm certainly not the first to have that problem in the forums, and I'm certainly not on the top 10 list for most abandoned dynasties, but I prefer to finish what I start if possible. Ultimately though, dynasties are for fun and if I think controlling both companies in a fresh save will be the most fun, I'm gonna run with that. Maybe someone will follow along or maybe not. And if it comes to the point where I'm just talking to myself, I'll just have to take a shower, hit the weights, and get a clue! P.S. . If there's enough interest I'd be willing to write out a semi-detailed summary of my plans through Wrestlemania 8 for this dynasty, which is how far ahead I've already written. I also had some very loose plans for the run-up to Summerslam '92 that I could share. Anyway, just let me know if that's something you guys would like to see. Thanks very much to everyone for reading, predicting, and commenting!
