It wasn't until Madison Rayne was in the match that Velvet saw any action, and would immediately tag back out when Mickie was the legal Knockout. Despite her best efforts, Mickie James did get her hands on Velvet Sky during the match, although not when the Number One Contender was the legal person. This didn't stop Mickie James from hammering down on Sky - but it did come at a price as Angelina Love was able to take Mickie James out with the Botox Injection! Angelina then tagged in Velvet who was able to hit the Skyliner for the win, while Angelina kept Madison busy on the outside! TNA Impact! - Thursday, Week 4 September 2010

Taylor Wilde, Hamada & 'The Original Knockout' Traci Brooks [vs] Daffney & Oblivion (w/ James Mitchell)

Background:

Oblivion are the Knockouts Tag Team Champions
Hamada will team up with Taylor Wilde to replace Wilde's injured tag partner Sarita, challenging for the belts this Sunday at No Surrender
Traci Brooks has been tagging with Hamada - relatively unsuccessfully for the last several months, and has been on a recent losing streak

This match quickly broke down, starting with James Mitchell being ejected from ringside by the referee after interfering with the match. What came next was a shock to everyone - Hamada and Taylor Wilde seemed to be gelling as tag partners and hit a series of double team moves on Daffney. A visibly pissed off Traci was seen standing on the apron, having her calls for a tag ignored repeatedly. When Hamada finally went to tag her in, Traci delivered a nasty slap across her face, jumping off the apron and pulling a confused Taylor Wilde off as well, before ramming Wilde into the ringside barrier before walking up the entrance ramp without even looking back.

The monstrous Kong doesn't need any help putting her opponents away and had an easy time taking advantage, hitting Hamada with the Awesome Bomb for the win!

Winners: Daffney and Oblivion

We kick off this weeks show with Sharmell and The Bitch Breakers in the ring. Sharmell says that standing with her in the ring is a team with 4 Women's World Championships between them and a Cruiserweight Championship reign. They might be The Bitch Breakers but don't get it twisted - Jazz and Jackie could break most men as well.

Sharmell then questions why is it then, that such a decorated team have not been given a shot at the Knockouts Tag Team Championships and have to jump through hoop after hoop to even consistently get on TV. Sharmell says that why stop there? 'The Pride of Tennessee' Miss Jacqueline Moore should get a Knockouts Championship match! Or 'The Bitch Breaker' herself, Jazz. Sharmell says that even when she herself gets a Title opportunity after 3 years, it is ruined by the dumb blonde white bimbos - how is that fair!

Sharmell ends by saying that she has been watching closely at the way legends have been treated around here lately and Knockouts Commissioner Chyna just lets it happen. Sharmell demands respect and says that the man or the woman nor the whole damn company gonna hold them down no more!

Background:

Both teams lost their first round matchups in the Knockouts Knockdown Tag Team Tournament

Sharmell's tirade is interrupted by 'The Voodoo Queen' Roxxi Laveaux and her tag partner, 'The Wicked' Winter.

A new, more aggressive attitude was on display with The Bitch Breakers truly living up to their name. Showcasing great tag team psychology, Jazz and Jackie were able to isolate Roxxi from Winter for the entire match and a small trip from Sharmell to Winter prevented her breaking up the pin after the Bitchlock by Jazz and a release German Suplex by Jackie for the win!

Winners: The Bitch Breakers

After the break, we see Taylor Wilde doing a photoshoot for TNA's website when Oblivion tear through the backdrop to attack their long time rival!

From out of nowhere, Hamada makes the save, coming through on her promise of having Taylor Wilde's back after the re-injuring of Sarita by the Knockouts Tag Team Champions. Hamada holds up her steel Feast or Fired briefcase and threatens the larger Knockouts with it, however they are called off by 'The Bringer of Oblivion' James Mitchell, retreating away.

Hamada checks on Taylor Wilde. Taylor thanks Hamada for her support and tells her that it looks like she will have to forfeit her Knockouts Tag Title opportunity at No Surrender due to Sarita's injury and Chyna's unwillingness to approve a substitute due to them not having a legitimate claim to a title opportunity. Hamada looks at her briefcase and Taylor asks Hamada if she'd cash in her opportunity to take Sarita's place. Hamada nods and the two embrace.

Standing just behind the torn backdrop we spot Hamada's regular tag partner, 'The Original Knockout' Traci Brooks looking on and she doesn't appear happy with what she has heard...

Elsewhere backstage, Lauren Brooke is standing by with the Knockouts Champion Mickie James. Lauren asks Mickie how she is feeling after The Beautiful People's humiliating beatdown last week.

Mickie James says that whenever something like that happens it takes her back to her high school days, but she has certainly bounced back from more humiliating situations. Mickie says the silver lining is that she gets her hands on Angelina tonight and at No Surrender she will be able to wipe the ring with Velvet Sky.

Madison Rayne enters the interview area and wishes Mickie luck dealing with The Beautiful People as she knows from experience what it's like to be going up against them. Madison tells Mickie that she will need some back up and is extending her hand. Mickie thanks Madison and tells her she'll keep her in mind. Madison says full disclosure - that she is not only doing this to get at Angelina and Velvet but to also to work towards a future Knockouts Championship match. Madison then says that her match is next and she will get a few shots in on Velvet for Mickie, before walking off leaving Mickie James pondering whether Madison is an ally she can trust or an enemy waiting to strike...

Background:

Velvet Sky will challenge Mickie James for the Knockouts Championship at No Surrender

Mike Tenay says he is very excited for this Knockouts exhibition match. Taz agrees hyping up the depth of talent in the Knockouts division.

Full of strong personalities and stronger competitors, this match quickly broke down with 'The Lovely' Lacey and Maxxine going after fellow tag team and former Knockouts Tag Team Champions Scarlet Envy; the unstable Daffney going after ODB and Madison Rayne scrambling to get her hands on her former stablemate, Velvet Sky.

During the chaos, it was in fact Velvet Sky who came out victorious, hitting Christy Hemme with the Skyliner for the 1-2-3!

Madison Rayne comes racing down the ramp and down to the ringside area and pulls Velvet off the apron, getting into a verbal altercation before becoming physical!

This time, it is Angelina Love who is distracted by the outside shenanigans, turning around into a Mick Kick for the win!

Hi All,

I just wanted to pop in and apologize for not posting as regularly as I have been wanting to this year.

I saw I was nominated for DOTM and I am so grateful people are still following this out of the box dynasty and embracing my love for women's wrestling.

I am aiming to have a few shows posted this weekend and hopefully maintain at least weekly postings going forward.

Some minor things on the women's side, I've picked up looking through the data

WWE

- Gail Kim should be under contract with WWE on the Raw brand. She eliminates herself from a battle royal in August 2011 and walks out, with her contact expiring in late September 2011.

- Likewise, Melina should also be employed and assigned to Raw as she wasn't released until August following this battle royal as well. Also her selling could use a boost.

- Lower Rosa Mendes' psychology, it's currently the second highest of all the divas behind Natalya.

- Amazing Kong should also be added to WWE as Kharma with a pregnancy absence added due back December 2011/January 2012.

- Without the NXT brand I'd consider returning Maxine to FCW

- Alicia Fox could a boost to her selling

- Perhaps look at all of the Divas stats compared to some of the men and give some a boost

- Su Yung should be on a developmental contract as Sonia

- Beth Phoenix and Natalya should be face

- Becky Bayless should still be employed as Cookie - I couldn't see her in the data so she might be missing

HBICs (w/ 'The Lovely' Lacey) [vs] Scarlet Envy

Background:

Scarlet Envy are the former Knockouts Tag Team Champions and haven't been seen since losing their titles in their first defence at Knockouts Knockdown

Announcer Mike Tenay suggests that Scarlet Envy will be looking to regain some momentum and work their way back towards the Tag Titles in this match. Taz believes the HBICs deserve an opportunity and questions why Chyna hasn't allowed them to have regular TV time.

In the ring, the action was great with the strength and experience of Tara working well with the agility and resilience of Christy Hemme showing why Scarlet Envy were able to capture the Knockouts Tag Team Championships.

The Lovely Lacey was very vocal at ringside giving constant direction to Sirren and Maxxine. Unfortunately for the HBICs, they came up short when Maxxine got caught in the Widow's Peak!

Backstage, Lauren Brooke is standing by with the holder of the Knockouts Tag Team Championship briefcase Hamada and her tag team partner, 'The Original Knockout' Traci Brooks.

Lauren says that ever since Hamada got the briefcase in the Feast or Fired match at Knockouts Knockdown, everyone has been asking when will she cash in the opportunity. Traci interrupts and says that they are in no rush, especially while Oblivion hold the Championships. Hamada cuts Traci off and says that she doesn't agree with what Oblivion have been doing over the past 6 months and feels it is up to her to stop this.

Hamada then turns to Traci and tells her that she needs a strong partner to overcome the challenge and Traci's win/loss record is not good enough. Hamada questions what value Traci is bringing to the team. Traci gets defensive and reminds Hamada that she is the Original Knockout and the division was built around her. Lauren's facial expression shows she clearly disagrees. Traci continues by saying that not only has she been in TNA for over 7 years but she is also a Playboy model, being the first Knockout to pose for the magazine.

Lauren interrupts and reminds Traci that not only did her shoot not make the cover, it didn't even make the printed magazine - only ending up on the website. Traci screams at Lauren in frustration and tells her to shut her mouth!

Traci tells Hamada that next week on Impact! she will use her connections to bring a special guest to ringside for her match- a female trailblazer in the wrestling business - a true legend, and when she beats her opponent and Hamada sees her influence, she will have no doubts that Traci Brooks is the most valuable damn partner around!

After the break, Knockouts Commissioner Chyna is in her office with Taylor Wilde. Chyna says that as Taylor is aware, Sarita was reinjured by Oblivion last week and she won't be medically cleared in time to compete at No Surrender. Taylor asks if they can postpone the Tag Title match until Sarita returns. Chyna apologizes to Taylor and says that with TNA Management breathing down her neck she can't afford to not play things by the book. Taylor then asks if she can get a replacement partner. Chyna considers it for a moment before denying this as well, citing the Championship opportunity can only be given to someone who deserves it...

The conversation is interrupted by screaming outside Chyna's office. Chyna opens her door and we see 'Living Legend' Alissa Flash and her protégé Miss Tessmacher trying to get past security.

Chyna says that after ruining the career celebration of Lisa Moretti last week, the two of them should be grateful they're even allowed in the building. Flash tells Chyna that what she saw last week was just the beginning if she doesn't get what she wants. Chyna tells security to escort them out of the building.

Velvet Sky has a future Knockouts Championship opportunity

Velvet Sky makes her way out to the ring with her BFF Angelina Love and her Knockouts Championship briefcase in hand. Taz reminds us that Velvet Sky has still not given an indication of when she will be cashing in but it might be against Sharmell if she can knock off Mickie James later tonight!

'The Wicked' Winter is out next with her tag team partner, 'The Voodoo Queen' Roxxi Laveaux. This match saw a more aggressive and determined Velvet Sky than we are used to seeing, with Velvet controlling most of the early part of the match. Despite a renewed focus and drive, the experienced Winter was able to battle back. Angelina Love took it upon herself to get into a brawl with longtime rival Roxxi at ringside, allowing Velvet Sky to roll up Winter for the win!

We return from commercial to Alissa Flash and Miss Tessmacher outside the arena. Miss Tessmacher says that Flash has Chyna running scared, just like Lisa Moretti did when Flash sent her into retirement. Flash's face lights up. Flash agrees with Miss Tessmacher's commentary and claims responsibility for Lisa Moretti retiring.

Flash tells Tessmacher that they need to come up with a way to strongarm Chyna into giving in like going after her family. Flash asks Tessmacher if she has any inside information from when she was Chyna's Executive Assistant. Miss Tessmacher says that Chyna is estranged from her family, but is close to several former wrestlers she worked with in the early 2000s...

Behind them, the arena door opens and Amy Dumas steps out, hugging Christy Hemme and Tara and thanks them for inviting her while she was in town and says how great it was to catch up with Chyna.

The doors close and Amy Dumas walks towards her car. Hearing Chyna's name has enraged Flash! Flash and Tessmacher jump Amy Dumas from behind, beating her down and throwing her against her car. Flash picks her up and hits a fireman's carry onto the bonnet of the car! Flash tells Amy to tell Chyna she is running out of time...

Mike Tenay recaps how this match came about, suggesting Sharmell goaded Mickie James into putting her Championship on the line, despite being injured. Taz dismisses this and says that Sharmell deserves her shot at the gold and Mickie James needs to put up or shut up.

The stronger wrestler, Mickie James easily takes control of the match dominating the less experienced Sharmell. Sharmell attempts to fight off the Champion a few times but is easily countered by James. It isn't long before The Bitchbreakers begin to interfere in the match, firstly with Jazz tripping Mickie when she ran the ropes and then Jackie Moore distracting the referee to prevent him seeing a pin attempt by James. Referee Earl Hebner has decided enough is enough and ejects The Bitchbreakers from ringside!

Sharmell is furious! Sensing her plan is falling apart and her time running out, Sharmell jumps on Mickie's back and attempts a sleeper hold. Mickie easily pulls Sharmell over in a snapmare and then signals she is about the end the match...

From out of nowhere Velvet Sky and Angelina Love hit the ring with Velvet slamming her briefcase into Mickie James back, continuing to beat her down as the bell rings signaling the end of the match.

Winner: and STILL Knockouts Champion, Mickie James

The Beautiful People then smear makeup all over Mickie's face, drawing panda eyes and smeared lipstick. Velvet then pulls out a paper bag which has her face on it and places it over the head of Mickie James! Velvet Sky poses with the Knockouts Championship as we go off the air...

Hamada and Traci looked to build some momentum as Hamada considers when she will cash in her Championship opportunity.

It was a relatively quick outing for the veterans who were able to isolate Traci Brooks throughout the match with Hamada seeing very little in ring action. In the end, a distraction from Sharmell let to a brutal DDT by 'The Pride of Tennessee' to pick up the win.

Chyna steps towards Flash however Lisa intervenes. Lisa reminds Chyna that she is part of Management now and can't get physical with Flash. On Lisa's advice, Chyna exits the ring as Miss Tessmacher and Alissa Flash taunt her. Lisa tells Flash that she has been teaching jumped up punk bitches like her respect for decades, but Flash is right, that her time in the ring is done. Flash has heard enough and together with Miss Tessmacher, the two Knockouts double team the legend, beating her down as Chyna races back into the ring. Backstage, Velvet Sky is doing a photoshoot and posing with her Feast or Fired briefcase, containing the contract for a Knockouts Championship match.

Her Beautiful People teammate, Angelina Love joins her. Angelina apologizes for not being able to rescue Velvet from the cage at Knockouts Knockdown. Velvet says she accepts Angelina's apology as Angelina tells Velvet she is super excited about her win! Angelina says that finally she can get another shot at the Knockouts Championship.

Velvet is confused and asks Angelina to repeat herself which she does. Velvet assertively tells Angelina that the Knockouts Championship opportunity is hers, not Angelina's and they are lucky to even have this after Lacey Von Erich's actions. Velvet reminds Angelina that she never wanted to contact Lacey and didn't think they could trust her. Angelina rolls her eyes, refusing to accept her part in what happened.

Angelina says that if Velvet won't give up her Knockouts Championship opportunity then that's ok, but she better make sure to cash it in wisely...

Later in the night we cross to the office of the Knockouts Commissioner, Chyna. She is joined by her former Executive Assistant, Miss Tessmacher - who Mike Tenay reminds us was fired at Knockouts Knockdown by getting the pink slip after adding herself to the Feast or Fired bout.

Miss Tessmacher is begging Chyna for her job back however Chyna is having none of it.

They are joined by Alissa Flash who Taz says was screwed out of the Knockouts Championship by Chyna at Knockouts Knockdown. Chyna refuses to acknowledge Flash but tells Miss Tessmacher that the only way she will remain employed in TNA is as an active wrestler. Alissa Flash steps in and tells Miss Tessmacher she is more than happy to train her to wrestle and will take her under her wing - much to the ire of Chyna.

Alissa Flash tells Chyna that she wants a match against her - saying it's the least she deserves after months of Chyna screwing her over. Flash says due to the disparity in age and ability she will even let Chyna hit her first.

The rarely seen TNA President, Dixie Carter enters the office. She tells Flash that she has spoken to Chyna and while she is acting as a representative of TNA Management she is not to lay a hand on any employee. Dixie says that she also wants to make it clear that she won't have a TNA Executive bullied or intimidated or otherwise provoked. Carter warns Flash to stay away from Chyna or there will be consequences...

We get an epic video package showcasing the history of the Knockouts Division over the past 3 years. We then go to ringside to Announcers Mike Tenay and Taz who welcome us to the historic first ever all-Knockouts Pay-Per-View, Knockouts Knockdown! Mike Tenay has some breaking news - TNA Executive Eric Bischoff has granted Miss Tessmacher's request to be pulled from the Knockdown Battle Royal! Taz reminds us that it will be a 10 Knockout match with Chyna promising two former Knockouts returning for this match. Mike Tenay throws it to Special Guest Ring Announcer, SoCal Val to introduce the participants!

Knockdown Battle Royal:

Toxxin [vs] Sharmell [vs] Sojo Bolt [vs] Mercedes Martinez [vs] Ashley Massaro [vs] Candice Michelle [vs] Taeler Hendrix [vs] Rosita [vs] Salinas [vs] Lacey Von Erich

Mike Tenay reminds us we haven't seen Salinas of LAX for 2 years, and Lacey Von Erich has been away since February of this year. Taz highlights some of the other familiar faces - former Playboy Covergirls Ashley Massaro and Candice Michelle - with Candice being a former Women's Champion! Mike Tenay also introduces Taeler Hendrix who is a relative newcomer to wrestling as well as Rosita who we are told is Sarita's cousin!

The bell rings and the first match on our all-Knockouts Pay-Per-View is under way! Mike Tenay asks Taz if he thinks Miss Tessmacher is afraid to step in the ring, hence why she asked to be removed from the match - Taz replies that she is just too busy doing Executive Assistant things for this historic event. During this discussion, we have our first elimination as Taeler is eliminated by Mercedes Martinez! Ashley Massaro and Candice Michelle appear to be teaming up against Sharmell and Sojo Bolt as Lacey Von Erich battles Rosita on the opposite corner. Toxxin and Salinas are left fighting in the ring as we see Lacey Von Erich getting the best of the fiery newcomer, using her height to eliminate Rosita!

Mercedes is now grappling with Salinas as Lacey Von Erich tries to catch her breath in the corner but is pummeled by Toxxin. Meanwhile Candice Michelle is on the apron with Sojo Bolt as Ashley Massaro takes down Sharmell with a spear, before dropkicking Sojo Bolt off the apron to eliminate her!

Candice Michelle climbs the turnbuckle calling for a diving elbow onto Sharmell but is pushed off the turnbuckle, crashing to the outside - Candice Michelle is eliminated by Mercedes Martinez! Meanwhile we see Salinas has been eliminated by Toxxin who is then quickly eliminated by Lacey Von Erich!

Our final four scout each other - Ashley Massaro, Mercedes Martinez, Sharmell and Lacey Von Erich. Ashley and Mercedes lock up as Lacey Von Erich goes after Sharmell. Sharmell tries to make a deal with the former Beautiful People member but Lacey Von Erich appears to be having none of it, she takes down Sharmell and applies the Von Erich Claw! While Sharmell is in pain from the submission, she is not at risk of being eliminated...

Meanwhile Ashley Massaro is unable to get the upper hand against the stronger and more experienced Mercedes Martinez, who eventually gets Ashley up in a Press Slam position and tosses her to the outside, and into Salinas, Toxxin and Candice Michelle who were still recovering at ringside - Ashley Massaro has been eliminated! Mercedes then immediately clubs Lacey Von Erich from behind, who releases the clawhold. Mercedes ragdolls Lacey Von Erich and with a bearhug tries to dump her over the top rope. The blonde holds on and uses her leg strength to slowly pull Mercedes with her. Spotting an opportunity - Sharmell races in from behind and uses gravity as a tag partner to topple the last two Knockouts down to ringside, eliminating Lacey Von Erich and Mercedes Martinez to win!

As Sharmell celebrates her unexpected win, we cut backstage to Lauren Brooke who is standing by with the 'Living Legend', Alissa Flash. Lauren asks Flash if she has any comments ahead of her Knockouts Championship opportunity later tonight. Alissa Flash asks Lauren if she knew that she has been with TNA for over a year? Lauren is surprised to hear this. Flash says that for the first 6 months she was mishandled and mistreated - kept on the sidelines just itching for a chance, and so New Year's eve 2009 rolls around and Flash makes a resolution to stop waiting for it to happen and start making it happen. Alissa Flash says that this all went well, as she began creating her own opportunities to rise through the ranks and chase glory - and then, a green-eyed monster named Chyna was determined to keep her down, as she was worried that the 'Living Legend' would overtake Chyna's legacy. Alissa Flash says that is exactly what happened - Chyna has been demoted to the 10th Wonder of the World as Alissa Flash is now THE women's wrestler. Flash says Chyna has one job tonight, to count the pinfall and to raise her hand in victory!

Knockouts Tag Tournament (First Round):

Sarita & Taylor Wilde [vs] The Bitch Breakers

Mike Tenay points out that these two teams have spent a lot of their tag team careers separate so this should be an interesting match-up. Taz highlights the experience of both teams including the fact all four Knockouts have won Women's World Championships across the globe.

Sarita - who is still sporting a face mask from the injuries at the hands of Oblivion starts off against 'The Bitch Breaker' Jazz. Jazz uses her power to ground the agile Sarita and stays on top of her, with frequent tags to 'The Pride of Tennessee' Jackie Moore. The brawler continues to pummel Sarita, often targeting the face. Sarita manages to swing the momentum and make a hot tag to Taylor Wilde. The 'Upset Queen' bursts into the match taking down her opponents with a flurry of offence.

After some back and forth, Taylor Wilde hits a Northern Lights Suplex on Jackie Moore and gets the victory for her team!

A masked figure moves into shot, his voice is distorted but distinctly male. He says that the Bringer of Oblivion has arrived and tonight the Oblivion Prophecy is fulfilled! Destruction is imminent...

Knockouts Tag Tournament (First Round):

Ice Magic [vs] HBICs

Taz reminds us there is a lot of history between these two teams, including a match at Slammiversary which Ice Magic won. It is 'The Wicked' Winter who starts off against Sirren. It's not long before the underhanded tactics often employed by the HBICs come into play with double teams as well as cheap shots behind the back of the official. Eventually, 'The Voodoo Queen' Roxxi Laveaux is tagged in and takes on Maxxine.

A few minutes of back and forth action ensues between the two familiar opponents. Sirren then takes the opportunity to pull Winter off the ring apron, distracting Roxxi in the ring, allowing Maxxine to roll up Roxxi and with a handful of tights get the win!

Winners: HBICs

We cross back to Lauren Brooke who announces that with their victory, the HBICs will be taking on Taylor Wilde & Sarita later on tonight in the tournament finals. Lauren then introduces her next guest, ODB.

Lauren asks ODB what an all-Knockouts Pay-Per-View means to her. ODB says that she has been part of the Knockouts Division since the beginning and to be here at Knockouts Knocked-up is such a privilege however what would make it more special would be to regain the Knockouts Championship.

Lauren points out that there have been three Knockouts Champions in 2010 - herself, Alissa Flash and current Champion Mickie James. Lauren asks if ODB thinks it's then fitting that all three are in tonight's main event. ODB says that not everyone is equal and there is one person in the three who doesn't belong. ODB says that Flash has cheated, bullied, lied and stolen her way to the top and continues to do so. ODB looks down the camera and vows that whatever happens, even if she doesn't win - she is making it her mission to ensure Alissa Flash doesn't win either...

Hamada [vs] 'The Original Knockout' Traci Brooks [vs] Daffney [vs] 'The Lovely' Lacey [vs] Velvet Sky [vs] ?????

SoCal Val is in the ring and announces the rules - there are three numbered briefcases on poles on three of the six turnbuckles, once a Knockout retrieves one, she will remain at ringside with the briefcase and be out of the match. Once all three have been retrieved, one will get opened immediately. SoCal Val reminds us that in one of the briefcases is a Knockouts Championship opportunity, in another is a Knockouts Tag Team Championship opportunity and in the last is a pink slip - where the retriever of this briefcase will be fired!

The five announced participants make their way out to the ring, with Velvet Sky looking up ominously at the cage hanging above the ring. Mike Tenay reminds us that Velvet will be locked in that cage later tonight during Angelina Love's match against Madison Rayne. As we await the mystery competitor, TNA Executive Eric Bischoff makes his way out on stage. Eric announces that due to such a historic event and an equally as historical match - he has secured the hottest, up-and-coming female wrestler in the world for this match, making her TNA in-ring debut... Miss Tessmacher!!

Mike Tenay is furious on commentary that Miss Tessmacher wormed her way out of the Knockdown Battle Royal which Chyna signed her up to, to be given an opportunity in feast or fired!

The bell rings and immediately Miss Tessmacher races up the turnbuckle towards a briefcase, however Hamada cuts her off and tosses her to the mat. All the Knockouts begin working on each other. As soon as one attempts to climb a turnbuckle, she is met by one or more of her opponents. Eventually Miss Tessmacher rolls out of the ring to survey the situation, which allowed Lacey, Daffney and Velvet Sky to outnumber Hamada and Traci who had begun working together. Once the faces were down, the heels turned on each other - trying to get an upper hand. Meanwhile, Miss Tessmacher drags Hamada out of the ring and throws her into the barricade and does the same to Traci but this time into the steel steps. Seeing an opportunity, Miss Tessmacher sneaks into the ring as Daffney tosses out Lacey and Velvet. Tessmacher slowly tries to climb the turnbuckle however she is seen by Daffney! Daffney gets Miss Tessmacher on her shoulders as Hamada gets back in the ring and takes out Daffney's legs! Miss Tessmacher lands safely on Daffney and rolls out of the ring.

Hamada looks around and sees Lacey climbing back onto the apron - Hamada hits a hip attack to knock her back down onto Velvet Sky. Hamada is up on the turnbuckle, reaching for the briefcase when her tag partner Traci rolls into the ring. Traci tells her she doesn't want to have to hit her but asks her to step down. Hamada points out Traci has an opportunity to grab another briefcase at the same time. Traci's face lights up so she ascends the opposite corner, as Hamada successfully grabs briefcase 2! Traci looks over and smiles at Hamada and congratulates her but has wasted too much time! Miss Tessmacher slides under Traci's legs and hits a powerbomb! Miss Tessmacher then climbs the turnbuckle and retrieves briefcase 1!

Daffney is back in the ring now, as is Velvet Sky. The two trade blows as Lacey also re-enters the ring. Lacey attempts to climb the turnbuckle while the others fight however she is caught. Daffney joins her on the turnbuckle, attempting a superplex however Velvet Sky also joins and powerbombs the other two Knockouts, mid-superplex. Traci is back in the ring and gets a superkick for her troubles. Realizing she is the only one standing, Velvet climbs the turnbuckle and retrieves the remaining briefcase!

Knockouts Commissioner Chyna makes her way down to ringside, to congratulate the winners Hamada, Miss Tessmacher and Velvet Sky.

Chyna says that they will be opening one briefcase right now, with the other two opening later tonight. Chyna invites Hamada who retrieved her briefcase first to open hers. Miss Tessmacher interrupts and points out she has got briefcase number 1 therefore it makes sense for hers to be the first to open. Chyna does a 'do you mind' gesture to Hamada who shrugs. Miss Tessmacher puts her briefcase on the table set up at ringside and smugly opens it to reveal...

The Pink Slip! Miss Tessmacher has been fired!

Miss Tessmacher screams in disbelief and jumps up and down. Tessmacher accuses Hamada of switching briefcases even though they were numbered. Chyna says that it is funny how things work out, isn't it. Chyna announces that effectively immediately, Miss Tessmacher is fired! Miss Tessmacher pleads with Chyna, grabbing her leg as tears roll down her cheeks. Chyna asks for security to remove Miss Tessmacher from ringside. Miss Tessmacher climbs into the ring and attempts to avoid security before she is cornered. Miss Tessmacher then grabs the ringpost and tries to hold on as she is pried off.

Knockouts Tag Tournament (Finals):

Sarita & Taylor Wilde [vs] HBICs

Mike Tenay reminds us of the history between these two teams, with Sarita and Wilde teaming up with ODB to defeat the HBICs & The Lovely Lacey at Sacrifice. Taz points out that they won via disqualification due to Oblivion's interference.

Another great display of women's tag team wrestling which Taz mentions is only seen at a national level in TNA. Taylor Wilde started the match for her team against Sirren who again adopts a grounding strategy. Frequent tags and cutting the ring in half causes the match to be one sided. It wasn't until Wilde was able to hit an enzuigiri on Maxxine to create some separation that the tide began to turn in favor of the inaugural Tag Team Champions. A hot tag to Sarita and she charges in clearing house.

Despite their best efforts to take back control, the HBICs fell to the Springboard Dropkick/German Suplex combo.

We go to ringside with Knockouts Commissioner Chyna who is standing by with Velvet Sky and Hamada. Chyna says that earlier we saw Miss Tessmacher get the pink slip so it's time to find out who gets the Knockouts Championship match and who gets the Knockouts Tag Team Championship match. Chyna asks both Knockouts to open their briefcases simultaneously.

We see Hamada has the Tag Title and Velvet Sky has earned herself a Knockouts Championship opportunity! Velvet is smiling ear to ear however her celebration is abruptly ended when Senior Referee Earl Hebner tells her that it is time to enter the cage. Velvet immediately begins freaking out and crying as she is forced into the cage by officials. Velvet screams in terror as the cage is lifted high above the ring in the center of the Impact! Zone.

Angelina Love [vs] Madison Rayne

Tale of the Tape:

With Velvet Sky out of the way, this will be a one-on-one matchup
Angelina Love has constantly trampled over Madison Rayne since returning in January, will Madison's pent up rage be too much?
Angelina Love seems to always find a way to get a leg-up, what has she got in store tonight?

Angelina Love makes her way out to the ring with her usual fanfare, one would be hard pressed to see her BFF is caged above the ring in distress as Angelina is her usual arrogant self. Eventually in the ring, Angelina glances up at Velvet Sky and blows her a kiss - little reassurance for the future Knockouts Championship Contender. Madison Rayne is out next with new music and a pop from the Impact! Zone.

This was not your usual grudge match, with Angelina Love spending the first act trying her best to avoid contact with her opponent - inside the ring, outside the ring and even into the crowd! Angelina Love uses her environment to her advantage, hitting a drop-toehold on Madison in the crowd, sending her face first into a chair before pummeling her on the concrete.

The back and forth action snakes its way through the crowd and back into the ringside area with both Knockouts beating the snot out of each other - a clear hatred on display. Angelina gets the upper hand and snatches the keys to the cage from a ringside official, throwing them up to Velvet who had unsuccessfully tried to squeeze through the bars. Velvet furiously unlocks the cage and the door flies open, with Velvet almost falling the twelve feet to the mat below. Velvet asks Angelina what she is supposed to do now - Angelina signals for Velvet to drop down onto her shoulders! As Velvet is preparing herself for the death-defying descent - Madison takes down Angelina with a spear - and her only way into the ring!

Some more back and forth action occurs before Lacey Von Erich jumps over the barricade! Mike Tenay reminds us that Lacey competed in the Knockdown Battle Royal - her first appearance in 6 or so months. Taz suspects that Lacey has come to get her revenge on Angelina Love however she just stares down Angelina Love as she grabs a ladder from under the ring. Angelina is directing traffic telling Lacey to help Velvet while she is taking care of Madison. Lacey sets the ladder up and allows Velvet Sky to climb down. Velvet gives Lacey a big hug. By this stage, Madison has Angelina down and asks what the hell Lacey is doing. Velvet Sky begins to laugh and taunt Madison as LVE gets the Ugly Stick out of the back of her tights. Lacey then clocks Velvet Sky with the Ugly Stick! LVE tosses it to Madison who uses it to take out Angelina Love and get the win!

Winner: Madison Rayne

Oblivion have been on a violent rampage over the Knockouts Division
Scarlet Envy won the Titles last week - this is their first defence
Will the Bringer of Oblivion and the promise of the fulfilment of the Oblivion Prophecy influence the outcome?

The bubbly Tag Champions, Scarlet Envy are out first for their first Championship defence. Oblivion are out next, with the Bringer of Oblivion who remains masked in a hooded robe.

Taz brings up Oblivions unusual tactics of getting close to Christy Hemme but not causing her harm over the past few weeks. Mike Tenay labels Oblivion as sick and obsessed. The fiery Christy Hemme wants to start the match however she is overpowered by Sara Del Rey who controls the majority of the match. Christy is able to eventually get the stronger Tara into the match however she is eclipsed in power by Awesome Kong.

Although Tara gets more offence in than her partner did, it's clear Oblivion have the upper hand and Christy has to break up several pin attempts to keep the Championships for her team. Eventually Tara has no choice but to take the opportunity to tag Christy back in to try and out-speed Kong however Kong flattens her like a Mack Truck.

The Bringer of Oblivion watches carefully as Kong hits Christy with the Implant Buster and subtly trips Tara to prevent her from breaking up the pin! Oblivion get the pinfall!

Taz reminds us that if it wasn't for unreliable officiating of the Number One Contender's match which almost cost Alissa Flash her opportunity, Chyna wouldn't have to personally referee the match.

Triple Threat Match:

Tale of the Tape:

All highly skilled competitors, with an interesting mix of styles - this is not an easy defence for the Champion
Alissa Flash has accused TNA of holding her back, resulting in Chyna personally refereeing this match - will this influence the outcome?
Can ODB come full circle and get back on top of the Division

Each of the challengers make their way to the ring and they are soon joined by the Champion. Chyna says she wants a clean match before ringing the bell.

The first act of the match is a lot of jockeying for position, holds and counter holds between all three women with no clear alliances forming. Chyna does a great job keeping the action clean and by the book.

As the match progresses it becomes clear ODB seems to be targeting Flash however Mickie James is happy to dance with either competitor. Alissa Flash gets frustrated and rolls out of the ring. Flash tells Chyna there is nothing she can do as there is no count-outs or disqualifications. Mickie James and ODB happily engage in some back and forth action before the pace picks up with some big move reversals.

Flash attempts to reinsert herself into the action but gets double teamed and again accuses TNA of setting the odds against her from the outside of the ring. ODB uses the distraction to hit the BAM on the Knockouts Champion and getting a near-fall. Flash grabs a steel chair and slides into the ring.

Special Guest Referee Chyna stands on the chair to prevent Alissa Flash from using it. Flash reminds Chyna that it is legal. Chyna says she doesn't care, she wants a clean fight! ODB uses the opportunity to roll Flash up for another near-fall.

Flash then gets the chair up and hits ODB across the head with it, Alissa Flash covers ODB however Chyna refuses to count - infuriating Alissa Flash! Flash corners Chyna yelling at her to do her job and poking her in the chest. The Knockouts Commissioner has had enough and shoves Flash back so she can leave the corner - unbeknownst to Flash and Chyna, Mickie James had recovered and was waiting and rolls up the unsteady Alissa Flash with Chyna counting a speedy 1-2-3!

Winner: and STILL Knockouts Champion, Mickie James

Mickie James gets a boot to the face for her trouble and when Chyna tries to separate Flash from the other Knockouts, Flash slaps Chyna across the face! Chyna habitually slaps Flash back prompting Flash to spear the Knockouts Commissioner! Alissa Flash then tosses Chyna into the steps before Referees, Officials and Mickie James and ODB are able to create separation.

The first ever all-Knockouts Pay-Per-View goes off the air with Officials checking on Chyna and Alissa Flash looking on from the top of the ramp looking pissed!

Madison Rayne had finally had enough of Angelina Love and delivered a massive slap across the face of the Canadian - walking out of the match, and in the process costing The Beautiful People the Knockouts Tag Team Championships and Angelina Love's opportunity at the Knockouts Championship. The following week on Knocked Out! Angelina Love sent Velvet Sky to urge Madison Rayne to "make things right" and later that night she cost Angelina Love her Feast or Fired Qualifying Match against Hamada by hitting her with The Ugly Stick! This drew the ire of Angelina's BFF Velvet Sky however Velvet and Madison didn't get physical... Following this, Angelina Love made sure Velvet Sky was on her side by reminding her Velvet needs her and also reminded Velvet of what she did to Lacey Von Erich. This prompted Madison to try and talk Velvet out of being a brainless lackey later that week, prior to Madison facing off against Angelina on Knocked Out!. Velvet however had her fingers crossed behind her back when she promised Madison she would stay out of it - perhaps a preview of the double cross to come as Velvet attacked Madison during the match before hightailing it out of the Impact! Zone with Angelina Love. Following this, Madison wanted to hear from Velvet who was trying to focus on her own Feast or Fired Qualifying match. After getting the win, Madison attempted to get some revenge on her former stablemates with Angelina feeding Velvet to the proverbial wolf to save herself. This match was then made official with Knockouts Commissioner Chyna deciding that Velvet Sky should be held high above the ring in a cage to prevent interference - causing Velvet Sky further distress on top of worrying about getting the pink slip in the Feast or Fired Match. Angelina Love seemed to have ideas about Velvet's opportunity however their focus was on the six Knockout Tag Match where The Beautiful People were sure to not cross paths with Madison Rayne. Who will be victorious in the beautiful break-up? Initially overlooked in the tag division, Oblivion made it their mission to send a message to Chyna by targeting various Knockouts. Oblivion has had a dominant and successful run with victories at Slammiversary over the inaugural TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Sarita and Taylor Wilde - the former suffering a horrific facial injury from the Oblivion Spike during the Full Metal Mayhem match- as well as at Victory Road over the unorthodox team of Ice Magic in a Monster's Ball encounter. Meanwhile the relatively new team of Scarlet Envy had been feuding with then-Tag Champions, The Beautiful People - earning a DQ victory at Sacrifice in May and continuing their feud through to July's Victory Road Pay-Per-View in a unique match where both Mickie James' Knockouts Title and The Beautiful People's Tag Titles were on the line. Tara earned the victory for her team and the Knockouts Tag Team Championships. Scarlet Envy made the mistake of overlooking Oblivion as Tara was focused on Mickie James - causing Oblivion to send a message to the new Tag Champions by leaving them laid out on the mat. The following week, Oblivion continued playing mind games by seemingly dismissing Scarlet Envy as credible opponents. Oblivion then warned that the Bringer of Oblivion will return at Knockouts Knockdown and bullied Chyna into granting a match between Awesome Kong and Tara. Awesome Kong was victorious in this match and after the match had ended, Sara Del Rey and Kong cornered Christy Hemme - with Kong seemingly enjoying touching Christy's face... Alissa Flash then reigned over the Division until newcomer Mickie James won the strap at Slammiversary. This match being signed didn't come without controversy - Alissa Flash returning from hiatus after losing the Knockouts Championship to cost Tara her Title opportunity. A Number One Contender's match followed, against ODB who was riding a wave of momentum after a months long feud with The Lovely Lacey and the HBICs. A screwy referee call saw Knockouts Commissioner Chyna add Flash to the match to silence Flash's complaint about Chyna deliberately keeping her down. To ensure no further complaints about the officials could occur, Chyna announced herself as the Special Guest Referee for this encounter. Alissa Flash and Daffney were then victorious in tag action against ODB and Mickie James. Alissa Flash was able to continue the momentum this past week on Knocked Out! when her partners, The Beautiful People pinned the Knockouts Champion after miscommunication with ODB, in a match also featuring Madison Rayne. Mickie James has shown she has the heart of a Champion and doesn't shy away from being an underdog; but the rough and tumble, loveably relatable ODB has always had the crowd solidly behind her. Alissa Flash had been a polarizing Champion, rapidly rising through the ranks this year and giving herself the moniker of the 'Living Legend' despite a tendency of cowardly actions. Our Knockouts Knockdown go-home show begins with Knockouts Commissioner Chyna in the ring with her Executive Assistant, Miss Tessmacher.

Chyna says that in 24 hours time, history will be made when the first ever all-Knockouts Pay-Per-View takes place live from the Impact! Zone. Chyna says that this year has been full of firsts for the female talent and she could not be prouder of how far Women's Wrestling has come.

Chyna reiterates her point from Impact! - that she wants all of the female talent in TNA a chance to shine - including Miss Tessmacher! Chyna smiles at her assistant who looks taken aback by the statement. Chyna announces that tomorrow night will be the inaugural Knockdown battle royal - featuring Miss Tessmacher, the three Knockouts who don't qualify for Feast or Fired and six other participants who are yet to be named including two former Knockouts!

Miss Tessmacher begins arguing with Chyna telling her that she isn't a wrestler and she would prefer not to be in the Knockdown battle royal. Chyna says that if she has a problem she can speak to Bischoff. Meanwhile, Mike Tenay and Taz announce the final Feast or Fired Qualifying match will take place right now!

Background:

All four Knockouts have lost their previous qualifying matches
The winner will join Hamada, Daffney, 'The Lovely' Lacey, Velvet Sky and a mystery Knockout in the first ever Knockouts Feast or Fired Match at Knockouts Knockdown

A chance for four under-utilized Knockouts to stamp their ticket to Knockouts Knockdown and possibly a Knockouts Championship opportunity!

The powerful Mercedes Martinez dominated the early part of the match while the scrappy Sojo Bolt fought her way back. The agile Toxxin used her speed to her advantage against the experienced Traci Brooks.

In the end it was the quick thinking Traci who got the win, after Mercedes hit the Fisherman Brainbuster on Toxxin - Traci threw Mercedes into Sojo on the apron knocking both women down, allowing her to cover Toxxin who was still down on the mat - using a handful of tights for good measure!

Winner: Traci Brooks

Backstage, SoCal Val is standing by with The HBICs. Val wants to know what the Knockouts Knockdown Pay-Per-View means to them.

Lacey snatches the microphone and asks who Val is. Lacey then tells Val it doesn't matter who she is - the only people who matter are the HBICs. Lacey says that tomorrow night is all about winning - at any cost. Lacey says she will be victorious in the Feast or Fired match earning a Knockouts Championship opportunity and her partners will blitz the tag tournament...

Their opponents in the first round of the tournament, Ice Magic interrupt. 'The Wicked' Winter says she couldn't help but overhear what Lacey was saying and she unfortunately comes bringing some bad news. 'The Voodoo Queen' Roxxi Laveaux says that she has had a premonition and it will be Lacey who gets the pink slip tomorrow night!

Lacey screams in disgust and calls Roxxi a liar. Winter says that Mistress Fate can be a cruel bitch, but then so can Lacey...

Elsewhere, Lauren Brooke is standing outside the locker room of The Beautiful People. Lauren knocks and enters and we see Velvet is pacing frantically. Velvet says she is freaking out about possibly getting the pink slip in Feast or Fired but also not only that she has to be locked in a cage above the ring...

Angelina Love notices Lauren and asks her what the hell she is doing sneaking into their locker room. Angelina reminds Lauren that their locker room is a skank free zone. Lauren snaps back asking why they are here then.

Angelina raises her hand but Velvet convinces Angelina not to hit Lauren - pointing out that Chyna would likely suspend them from competing tomorrow. Velvet then realizes what she has said and appears to have had an idea - Lauren hightails it out of sight before Velvet can act on her plan...

Angelina reassures Velvet that everything is going to be fine - she will defeat Madison's fat ugly face and free Velvet safely and Velvet will go on to win the Knockouts Tag Title opportunity at Feast or Fired... Velvet pauses - surprised Angelina is hoping she gets the Tag Title briefcase. Velvet tells Angelina that there is only one briefcase she wants - the Knockouts Championship opportunity...

Angelina tells Velvet there is no time to worry about that as they need to head to the ring as their match is up next.

Madison Rayne will take on her former Beautiful People stablemate, Angelina Love at Knockouts Knockdown, with Velvet Sky locked in a cage above the ring

Two of the marquee matches for the first ever all-Knockouts Pay-Per-View were previewed tonight in this six Knockout collision. Mike Tenay reminds us how important momentum is when heading into a big Pay-Per-View match and assures us both teams want to be victorious tonight.

There was some tension on display between Mickie James and ODB with both wanting to start against Alissa Flash - who soon tagged out to Velvet Sky. Angelina Love was sure to keep her distance from Madison Rayne throughout the match.

In the end it was a miscommunication between Mickie James and ODB which decided the match with ODB accidentally clotheslining her partner while she was aiming for Alissa Flash. Flash took advantage by taking out ODB. While the referee was trying to restore order, Angelina Love yanked Madison off the apron and tossed her into the steel steps which allowed Velvet Sky to hit the Skyliner on the Knockouts Champion for the win!

After the break, Sharmell and The Bitch Breakers are in the interview area. Sharmell sends a warning to Taylor Wilde and Sarita that the Bitch Breakers are gonna break both of them and win the tag tournament. Sharmell also announces that she is entering the Knockdown Battle Royal as she feels the match needs a veteran and she can think of no better woman to become the inaugural Knockdown Battle Royal winner than herself...

Sarita and Taylor Wilde enter the shot laughing. Sarita asks Sharmell to clarify if she just called herself a veteran. Sharmell says that she demands respect from rookies such as Sarita and Wilde. Taylor questions why Sharmell always worms her way out of matches if she is such a wrestling veteran. Sharmell says she doesn't need to answer their questions but she will shut their mouths. Jackie Moore and Jazz start laying into their first round opponents before officials are able to separate them...

A hard-hitting collision between two powerhouses - this match did not disappoint. During the match, Taz speculates on who the Bringer of Oblivion could be and when they might return.

Awesome Kong was able to continue her winning ways by knocking off a former Champion in Tara - although it did take an Implant Buster and a Big Splash to get the three count!

Ice Magic and The Bitch Breakers will be part of the Tag Team Tournament this Sunday at Knockouts Knockdown

Jazz's TNA run hasn't been as successful as she would have hoped, with a chance to showcase her skills as a singles wrestler Jazz took full advantage. It was a distraction from Sharmell which prompted 'The Wicked' Winter to get physical with 'The Pride of Tennessee' Jackie Moore outside the ring while Jazz took out Roxxi Laveaux inside the ring - showing her strength and credibility as a singles performer.

Lauren asks Chyna about the historic, first ever all-Knockouts Pay-Per-View Knockouts Knockdown which takes place live this Sunday! Chyna says that she is doing her best to give all of the female talent in TNA a chance to shine and as such has one additional match to announce at this time: Angelina Love verses Madison Rayne.

Lauren asks Chyna how she will ensure Velvet Sky won't interfere like last time - perhaps making it a cage match? Chyna says that she won't be putting Angelina and Madison in a cage - it will be Velvet who will be in a cage, high above the ring!

Miss Tessmacher interrupts to add that there will be one last chance qualifier for the Knockouts Feast or Fired match this Saturday on Knocked Out!; and she is pleased to announce she has signed a sixth mystery participant for the match. Miss Tessmacher also confirms there will only be three briefcases for the six participants: a Knockouts Championship opportunity, a Knockouts Tag Team Championship opportunity and a pink slip!

Background:

The winner will qualify for the Knockouts Feast or Fired match at Knockouts Knockdown, joining Hamada, Daffney and The Lovely Lacey

After being caught between her BFF Angelina Love and former Beautiful People teammate, Madison Rayne after their messy break-up, Velvet Sky appeared to choose to remain loyal to Love by attacking Rayne during their match. Mike Tenay wondered if Velvet could focus on this match against a relatively unknown competitor in Toxxin.

During the match, Angelina appeared to keep an eye out over her shoulder - perhaps anticipating the appearance of Madison Rayne. She had every reason to, as the music of Madison Rayne blasted through the Impact! Zone distracting both Velvet and Angelina, allowing Toxxin to roll up Sky for a nearfall.

Madison doesn't make an appearance in the Impact! Zone, so it would appear that it was a simple distraction. Velvet Sky picked up the pace, wanting to get the match over and done with before Madison Rayne does put in an appearance.

Velvet grabs Toxxin and hits the Skyliner for the win!

Winner: Velvet Sky

Post-match, Angelina Love enters the ring to celebrate Velvet Sky progressing to the Knockouts Feast or Fired match at Knockouts Knockdown - one week from tomorrow. Madison Rayne's music once again plays through the Impact! Zone, but this time Rayne does make an appearance - running down to the ring with the Ugly Stick in hand!

Angelina cowardly and selfishly pushes Velvet Sky directly into Madison's path while she escapes from the ring. Velvet looks terrified and begs Madison to let her go however Madison decides that Velvet Sky also needs a lesson and swings the Ugly Stick - Velvet ducks and bolts from the ring - joining Angelina Love at the top of the ramp.

Madison warns The Beautiful People that it is just a matter of time before she gets her hands on them...

We return from commercials to Lauren Brooke standing by in the interview area with ODB.

Lauren asks ODB what she thinks about Alissa Flash being added to the Knockouts Championship match at Knockouts Knockdown by Chyna. ODB says that Alissa Flash is like that one cockroach that just keeps eating your leftover pizza that you had sitting on the floor of your trailer. ODB says that she has been dealing with Flash since the start of the year and she is getting kind of tired of it.

Alissa Flash and Daffney interrupt the interview. Flash says that she wouldn't expect any less from a nasty trash bag ho like ODB than to be talking about cockroaches. Flash continues by saying that Mickie James isn't much chop but she is leaps and bounds ahead of ODB and there is no way that ODB is ever getting her hands on the Knockouts Championship again.

Meanwhile, Daffney has just been snarling at ODB and eventually snaps at her like a dog. ODB asks Lauren to leave before she swings a punch at Daffney.

Flash and Daffney quickly double team ODB before the Knockouts Champion Mickie James arrives and helps even the odds. Officials and referees rush in to separate the two teams who will be competing tonight in our main event.

A rare multi-person tag match for the Knockouts Division - showcasing the talent of the tag team division.

The cocky egos of the young upstart HBICs and the veteran Bitch Breakers caused some interesting dynamics however somehow it worked with Maxxine getting the pinfall over Roxxi Laveaux after Jazz, Jackie and Sirren pulled Taylor Wilde, Sarita and Winter off the apron while The Lovely Lacey and Sharmell provided distractions on the outside.

Winners: HBICs & The Bitch Breakers

After the break, we see Knockouts Commissioner Chyna is in her office with her appointed Executive Assistant, Miss Tessmacher. Chyna asks Miss Tessmacher to inform officials that she will be providing commentary for tonight's main event. As Miss Tessmacher goes to leave, she is blocked by Oblivion.

Chyna gets up and looks ready to fight however Sara Del Rey tells her to relax. Awesome Kong pushes Miss Tessmacher back into a chair. Del Rey says that she has just come by to give Chyna one last warning about the Oblivion Prophecy. She says that in just over one week's time the Prophecy will finally be fulfilled and the Bringer of Oblivion will return! Kong laughs manically at the mention of this mysterious person.

Sara Del Rey tells Chyna that Scarlet Envy will get destroyed at Knockouts Knockdown and asks for a match between Kong and Tara next week as a preview of what's to come. Chyna initially refuses however Kong grabs Miss Tessmacher by the throat. Miss Tessmacher begins to cry and beg Kong to let her go. Del Rey signals for Kong to tighten her grip before Chyna grants Oblivion their match. Kong and Del Rey then leave, laughing at their actions as Chyna checks on Miss Tessmacher while looking pissed...

Mickie James will defend her Knockouts Championship at Knockouts Knockdown against ODB and Alissa Flash with Chyna as the Special Guest Referee

Just after the match begins, Knockouts Commissioner Chyna makes her way down to the commentary table to join Taz and Mike Tenay. Chyna apologizes for being late however acknowledges we all saw why.

In the ring, Alissa Flash wants no part of Mickie James, leaving Daffney to take on the Knockouts Champion. Once ODB is tagged in, Flash is more than happy to extend her arm and want a tag from her partner.

Mike Tenay reminds us that Flash won the Knockouts Championship from ODB earlier this year before losing it to James and it was ODB who defeated Flash last week, albeit in controversial fashion.

Chyna says that the TNA referees are the best in the business however she appointed herself referee at Knockouts Knockdown to prevent any complaints from Alissa Flash and any excuses to protest the outcome. Taz asks Chyna who she wants to win next Sunday - Chyna declines to answer so Taz follows this up with a question about Flash's claim Chyna has been holding her back and sabotaging her career out of jealousy. Chyna dismisses the claim as ridiculous.

Meanwhile, in the ring ODB is trying a pin attempt on Flash as Flash puts her foot on the ropes - Deja vu of last week. This time however, the referee spots it and calls the rope break.

Mike Tenay asks Chyna about Oblivions warnings over the past several months and the talk of the Oblivion Prophecy being fulfilled and the Bringer of Oblivion returning. Chyna says that Oblivion intimidates a lot of people but neither Awesome Kong nor Sara Del Rey intimidates her and she won't be bullied into handing anyone a Championship - not Oblivion or Alissa Flash.

Back in the ring, Alissa Flash knocks Mickie James off the apron with a running boot and then ducks a clothesline attempt from ODB and turns it into a roll-up.

Post-match, Alissa Flash beats down ODB in the ring, while Daffney drives Mickie James back first into the steel steps on the outside. Chyna excuses herself from commentary and walks down to the ring with a purpose.

In the ring, Alissa Flash demands Daffney retrieve the Knockouts Championship which she happily does. Alissa Flash raises the Knockouts Title into the air and tells Chyna to raise her arm. Chyna refuses. Alissa Flash tells Chyna that this is a preview of what's to come at Knockouts Knockdown and there is nothing Chyna can do about it. Taz says that in one week from tomorrow, Chyna may have no choice but to raise the hand of the 'Living Legend'...

Backstage, we see Velvet Sky looking around frantically as she hurries down a corridor. Madison Rayne appears and startles Velvet. Velvet tries to walk around her however Madison blocks her way. Madison asks Velvet to explain why she attacked her during her match against Angelina Love last week. Madison tells Velvet she trusted her word.

Velvet stands silently, staring at Madison Rayne. Madison tells Velvet that Angelina is toxic and to remember what Angelina did to Lacey Von Erich. Velvet tells Madison that she has a Feast or Fired Qualifying Match on Knocked Out! to focus on and she doesn't need Madison's drama.

Velvet excuses herself and pushes Madison out of the way before hurrying off, leaving Madison looking furious...

Later on in the show, we see Knockouts Commissioner Chyna and her Executive Assistant Miss Tessmacher having a disagreement in Chyna's office. Alissa Flash bursts in without knocking, to the ire of Chyna.

Alissa Flash - in a raised voice - asks Chyna if she saw what her referee did to Flash last week? Chyna calmly asks Flash to lower her voice. Flash furiously tells Chyna that she is jealous of her as she is a Living Legend and Chyna is living in the past. Flash accuses Chyna of holding her back and trying to diminish her glow for months. Miss Tessmacher suggests Flash has a point while Chyna dismisses the accusation.

Alissa Flash asks Chyna how she is going to fix the mess her management has caused. Chyna says that she is not an unreasonable woman, and agrees what occurred was unfortunate - however says there isn't much she can do. Miss Tessmacher suggests that Chyna could add Alissa Flash to the match as Eric Bischoff had advised her to do. Chyna glares at Miss Tessmacher. Alissa Flash thanks Miss Tessmacher for her professionalism in addressing the matter and questions whether Chyna was going to ignore Eric Bischoff's suggestion to further hold Flash back.

Chyna interrupts and says that she was going to address this on Knocked Out! however since Alissa Flash sought her out, she is going to add Alissa Flash to the Knockouts Championship match at the Knockouts Knockdown Pay-Per-View as a gesture of good will - and furthermore to prevent any future complaints about the officiating, Chyna announces herself as the Special Guest Referee!

Mike Tenay points out we haven't seen much of Mercedes Martinez since arriving in TNA earlier this year however indicates that these two Knockouts know each other very well from before joining TNA.

A great competitive match, helped by the fact referee Slick Johnson sent the HBICs to the back after Maxxine distracted Mercedes. Despite an even playing field it was 'The Lovely' Lacey who was victorious and heading to Feast or Fired at Knockouts Knockdown, two weeks from tomorrow!

Winner: 'The Lovely' Lacey

Backstage, Madison Rayne has found Velvet Sky waiting for Angelina Love outside the trainer's room. Velvet tells Madison she needs to leave as Angelina will be done in the trainer's room any minute. Madison tells Velvet she just needs to speak to her before her match against Angelina. Madison asks Velvet to do the right thing tonight, and not be Angelina's lackey - to think for herself for once. Velvet looks down at the ground disheartened, before looking up at Madison with a smile. Velvet nods her head and promises to stay out of the match before hugging Madison. However we see Velvet's fingers are crossed behind her back...

Lauren asks Tara about the controversial ending to her Knockouts Championship match against Mickie James last week and being denied a rematch. Tara says that she understands that she is contracted to defend the Tag Titles at Knockouts Knockdown however wants to make it clear to Mickie James, ODB or Alissa Flash - whoever walks out with the Knockouts Championship, that Tara has not finished hunting...

Number One Contenders, Oblivion appear - sending Lauren running. Tara and Christy ready themselves for a fight as Kong and Del Rey size up their opponents - particularly focusing on Christy Hemme. Kong just laughs, dismissing the Champions as credible threats, before walking away...

Background:

There has been conflict brewing within The Beautiful People for months, with Angelina viewing Madison Rayne as the weak link

Former Beautiful People stablemates collide as the Queen Bee Angelina Love looks to teach the banished Madison Rayne a lesson.

Angelina takes control of the match early on as Velvet Sky watches on, not appearing to take either side. Angelina's trademark cockiness costs her control as Madison mounts a comeback.

A flurry of offense and a nearfall follows with Madison building momentum and confidence with each hit. Mike Tenay reminds us there has been months of bullying towards Madison Rayne - including Angelina never getting a third throne for their locker room. Taz defends Angelina saying there wasn't enough room for three chairs and they should have been given a bigger locker room.

Madison Rayne signals she is going to end the match and sets Angelina up for the Rayne Drop - as Velvet slides into the ring and attacks Madison Rayne from behind! Madison is clearly shocked as the bell rings, with Velvet hightailing it up the ramp with Angelina before Madison can process what happened...

Winner: Madison Rayne

Finish: Disqualification, following interference by Velvet Sky

Chyna announces that at the first ever all-women's Pay-Per-View, Knockouts Knockdown - Women's Tag Team wrestling will once again be highlighted as there will be a 4 Team Tournament. Miss Tessmacher interrupts and announces HBICs, Bitch Breakers, Ice Magic and Taylor Wilde and Sarita will compete with the winner getting a future Knockouts Tag Team Championship opportunity!

We return from commercial to Lauren Brooke standing by with Knockouts Champion, Mickie James.

Lauren reminds us we are just moments away from finding out who will be challenging Mickie for her Championship at Knockouts Knockdown. Lauren says there is one thing everyone wants to know - who would Mickie prefer to face: ODB or Alissa Flash?

Mickie says that she knows she can beat Flash, she has proved that before - but she has never got the chance to tie up with ODB. Lauren interrupts and asks if that means Mickie wants to face ODB. Mickie coyly replies that she didn't say that, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter who it will be as in two weeks, Mickie will once again make history. Mickie excuses herself and walks off, leaving Lauren confused as to where the Champion is heading...

Background:

The winner of this match will face Mickie James for the Knockouts Championship at Knockouts Knockdown
Both women are former Knockouts Champions - Alissa Flash won the Title from ODB before losing it to Mickie James

The two familiar foes size each other up in the ring as the music of Knockouts Champion, Mickie James blasts through the Impact! Zone. Mickie James joins the commentary team as our main event gets underway.

Mike Tenay reminds us of the history between Alissa Flash and ODB including a Last Knockout Standing match earlier this year. The 'Living Legend' takes control of the match early on before some back and forth - neither Knockout giving the other an inch.

It's not long before ODB takes control with her rough and tumble offense however a quick thinking Flash is once again able to regain control. Taz hypes up how competitive this match is and reminds us you won't see Women's Wrestling like this on any other nationally broadcast television show. Mickie concurs suggesting there are no divas here.

Flash gets frustrated that she hasn't been able to put away ODB yet and slides to the outside to psych herself up. This gives ODB a chance to recover - including getting a swig of liquid courage. Flash slides back into the ring and is bombarded by ODB's offence - a drop kick and then a fallaway slam. ODB then calls for the end of the match and hits the BAM! ODB makes the cover:

Flash slides her foot under the rope intending to break the count but referee Rudy Charles misses this and continues the count

Post-match, ODB celebrates finally getting back into the Knockouts Championship hunt, while Alissa Flash argues with the referee. Mickie James also makes her way down into the ring as ODB holds out her hand for Mickie to shake. Mickie pushes past ODB, ignoring her hand and also tells the referee that Flash's foot was under the rope. The referee says there is nothing he can do and exits the ring, away from a furious Flash.

Meanwhile, ODB has taken exception to Mickie James ignoring her handshake and spears the Knockouts Champion! ODB grabs the Knockouts Title and holds it in the air for a second before Alissa Flash hits ODB with a running boot! Alissa Flash grabs the Knockouts Title and looks at it, before angrily throwing it down to Mickie James and exiting the ring.

Taz remarks that regardless of the controversial finish, both the Champion and Challenger are laid out together, in the middle of the ring...
