Question about contracts: if I wanted to have committed wrestlers on my roster, but wanted to have them also work elsewhere to get ring time, gain experience and exposure (like most of the AEW talent), what would the best way to go about this be?

I'm guessing if I signed them to a written contract (non-exclusive), they would still sign handshake agreements elsewhere. Would this prevent or deter other larger companies from trying to sign them to exclusive written contracts?

Better to sign to exclusive written and build 'relationships' with other companies where they are willing to accept your workers on excursion.

  2.
I'll get started with my own replies:

    1) I typically don't allow former world champions in my company to compete for the secondary title. It's for people who haven't won the World Title yet or ever.

    2) Champion is usually Top 10 but not Top 5. This is unlike WWF at some points who will put their IC Title on a #2 or #3 guy.

    3) I use the IC Title as a barometer for when I am ready to move someone up or down. Specifically down: if Cowboy Bob Orton is in the IC Title division and I've decided that I don't want him to be World Champion but he has become stale in the IC Title division, it's time to team him up with a young and upcoming talent like Steve Austin in the Tag division. In other words, the IC Title helps decide who gets promoted or demoted.

  3. I'm not sure if this is intentional. I am using the latest patch.

In my 1991 save, we are currently in the year 1995. El Dandy has become very, very popular in Mexico (91 popularity) and has single digit popularity in the U.S. (except for Mid South and South West where he is at 27). He has 9 popularity across Japan.

El Dandy is currently employed by AAA. He is their Champion. His contract is a handshake agreement for $18,350 per show.

    Okay, here's the strange part:

I am playing a U.S. based promotion. If I go to "estimated cost to R2GW", it tells me that El Dandy will cost me $3,700 per month but $15,900 per show. That's right. It is 4x cheaper to hire him on a monthly contract rather than on a per show basis.

I'm not sure if that is intentional. I did not know which forum to bring this up in. Obviously, my "suggestion" would be to adjust one of these totals so that it makes more sense.

  4. We have the option for Events to be 'locked' to certain regions. I would love to see if Titles could be locked in the same way. For example, a US Championship that can only be defended in the US or an Ontario Championship that can only be defended in Ontario.

We can do that manually already but this is more for the autobooker. I don't think this would be too hard to implement.

Keep up the great work on the game!

  5.
I'm doing a watcher game myself. I simmed the Rumble and this happened:

MAIN EVENT: Shawn Michaels won a 10 person battle royale [69]

WWF TITLE: Warrior beat Million Dollar Man to retain [95]

ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH: Hogan won a 30 man Royal Rumble match [75]

    .

    .

    .

anyway, for some reason the AI decided to book a 10 person battle royale as the main event instead of the WWF Title match or the Royal Rumble??

  6. This is a beta test. The game will be more polished as updates come out. I'm not going to buy it right now but once I hear that the major issues (mainly the quality of life stuff involving being able to use the keyboard more ... and being able to adjust autobooker angle times so that they aren't all 15 minutes by default) are updated I will be very excited to hand over my money.
