  1. The stats are super high! Not challenging at all, but with this save I've been more focused on role playing/story telling and getting the young indy guys (AJ, Joe, Christopher Daniels primarily) over in WWE to set up some dream fueds so its still fun even if its a pretty smooth ride haha.

  4. Need names for 05 heel tag with Christian and Test and face tag with Mick Foley and Stevie Richards
  5. Welp.. Got to Armageddon and booked AJ's first win over Taker... in the main event... only got a 78 despite it being the hottest storyline running due to a "Absolutely no chemistry" note. *Facepalm*. Time to reevaluate and decide if it's even worth moving forward with this.
  6. I don't think it helps save their popularity, I think it just makes it so there are no effects on their morale for putting over a less popular worker. But I wasn't and still am not too worried about guy's popularity dropping slightly as WWE has so many top guys in 2004 its hard to book all them as is without having their pop drop from time to time as it is. As of the time of this post (Dec 2004) Eddie, brock, taker, jericho, HHH, Benoit, Kane, Rock, Orton, Sting, Bradshaw, HBK, Goldberg, Cena, and Angle are all considered Major Stars. This would be practically unmanageable without the brand split. Also using the storyline system and booking good wins in side matches and high rated angles where both guys have success will help keep maintain their pop even if they are going to lose that fued in the end. For example after the AJ vs Rey fued Rey took two loses at ppv's to AJ, but won matches in between against solid mid carders and participated in high rated angles and ended the fued with a "Very good" rating. Yea, he lost a couple pop points but not so much that it hurts him in the long run. Also I try not to get lost too much in trying to micro manage every little thing and spend more time trying to book the best shows possible revolving around good storylines (sometimes at the expense of certain workers morale no way around it with WWE's huge roster).
  7. Brought AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Elix Skipper into WWE mid 2004 as "Triple X" with Daniels and Elix tagging and AJ leading the trio. Daniels and Elix have completely took over the Smackdown tag division and hold the titles now into December. Consistently cranking out 80+ matches. AJ was supposed to spend some time developing his skills and popularity competing for the US title on and off until I was ready to start putting him over top guys. Well... Within one month Big Show offered to put AJ over, so he did the job at Great American Bash with a respectable 73. Immediately after Rey offered to put AJ over twice so I booked him in a fued for the Cruiserweight belt and decided well I guess we could just make the cruiserweight division more respectable while these two give me show stealers. AJ took the belt at Summerslam and then retained at No Mercy. During this fued Eddie offered to put AJ over (Eddie is the champ!) and this presented a decision. Put the strap on AJ already? Eddie is cool with it but AJ just isn't ready so I booked him to go over in a non title match on Smackdown that got AJ's best rating yet at an 87. Figured that was the end of this happening atleast for a little while after the Rey fued and had AJ continue defending the CW belt against the likes of Paul London and Tajiri, having really solid matches in the midcard while Taker and Jericho debuted on Smackdown (needed some faces). As soon as Taker debuts, he offers to put over AJ twice! Looks like AJ will be jumping into the main event sooner than expected with wins against Taker at Armageddon and the Rumble, while Taker will get his revenge at Wrestlemania.
  8. Matt Hardy cheated on Lita with Trish, so Matt Hardy now has Trish as a valet who's in a fued with Lita for the women's title, and Matt is gonna get the rated r superstar gimmick instead of edge lol
  9. <p>Building pop really isn't that difficult and as gamebreaking as some of you make it sound. Booking your guys to go over on B shows will do nothing for their pop, and having them get beat on A shows but protecting them won't raise their pop either just minimize the pop they'd lose for getting beat. My strategy that seems to work with just about every worker I've tried to get over is put them in a storyline with one or two top guys with good momentum and pop, build them up with angles and have them go over decent mid card workers so match ratings are solid and don't hurt the heat on your story lines, and once your storyline is hot enough or you've role played it to your desired ending have them go over a top guy. Sometimes you might have to sacrifice a little morale on one of your stars but if you're booking them strong before that match the effects should be minimal. </p><p> </p><p> For example, 2004 rw mod I booked Rey in fueds to go over Big Show and Bradshaw in that order in a 6 month time frame. Rey has risen from 67 pop in January to 77-79 depending on the region at the end of June. All through using the story lines and building enough heat before the final blow off match. I believe there's pop caps as well (pretty sure I read that) and of course different stats will effect the difficulty of rising pop due to match quality, star power, what have you. Just be patient (biggest thing, not every worker is going to be a superstar and some will take longer to rise in pop than others), use your storylines, and dont be afraid to upset your top guys every now and then to build new stars (especially if you're using a company like WWE and can afford to give out bonuses here and there).</p>
  10. Hey, sorry if this has been addressed already but has anyone else using this mod experienced the auto booker consistently booking men in evening gown and lingerie matches regardless of what product you're using? Drives me crazy as I have to change every 1 on 1 match that is autobooked from a divas match to a regular 1 on 1 every single card.
  11. Book the first match of what will be two wins for Sammy and get the "Dont work well together" note . What should of been a match at the least in the low 80s ended up being a 49!
  12. 2 months into an AEW game with the killing the business mod, Jericho notifies me that hes willing to put Sammy Guevera over twice in the next 4 months, same day announces he going on tour in 3 months. Leave it to Jericho to give back to the business before riding off into the sunset (not sure if I'll bring him back after the tour, considering moving away from the older WWE heads and not going the TNA route.) Sammy and company staging a mutiny and Sammy and Jericho having a loser leaves the company match to send Jericho off on his tour if what direction I'll likely go in moving forward. Just don't know how long the tour will be and whether or not I'll bring him back.
