1. I try to grab all of the world ranked fighters I have weight classes for. I don't get them all but I grab as many as I can. Then I will use the recommended hires to get each weight class to around 40-50 fighters. After that the only way I throw a guy out is if you become unranked with 3 of the skull and crossbones symbols so I don't throw many out. This usually gives me a nice balanced roster without so much overturn where I don't know who the guys are but allows me to remove some dead weight after time passes.
 2.
I dont have all my champions in front of me because I dont have the game on this pc but my SHW's have been very interesting and some of the best fights i've had oddly enough. Though George Pickering is an animal and just decimates people, Teddy Glossop got close and he's the only one to give him even a mildly tough fight.

Matthew Dean lost in the very show I had him in. Did a one night tourney for each belt and Matthew Dean got beaten by Decision by Buddy Garner. Haven't had a chance to fight him again to see if he's falling off or if he comes back as the stud we all remember.

So if you want him to lose I recommend one night tourneys to wear him out.

 3. I did a one night super heavyweight tournament for the title and it was awesome. Several of the fights were very exciting hard punching affairs and a tired Glossop and a tired Pickering pounding each other with a crazy finish for the title was incredible. I think its' all a bit of luck and even if guys are tired doesn't mean the fight will be bad from then on.
 4. I have found I use the oddsmakers a lot so lets say I have a fighter on a streak or just a guy I like who id like to see win I will make sure their the favorite in the next fight I schedule them but I always aim to make it a close fight. I don't care about guys on streaks and building heat I let that happen naturally. I want my champions to be guys who earned it the hard way. My champs are fighting off world class foes left and right same with my up and comers. What's funny is I have found when I do this that champs from other organizations just can't compete they get smacked around the minute they come over to GAMMA.
 5.
I book 1 show per month and I try to focus on an entire weight class for that month with the title fight being the main show. So ill do Heavyweight's for example then a month later ill do welterweights then rinse and repeat each month. This allows me to have everyone healthy and have an exciting title fight for each month. I used to just mix and match with whatever sounded fun but then id find myself with shows without a good main card or just plain boring fights because everybody is out or unavailable.

I will likely continue this practice but occasionally throw in a one night tourney or something along those lines just for fun. It is interesting to see how much the rankings shift around after one of my shows since the whole roster for that weight class usually gets a shot.

I also generally only keep guys who are ranked with very few extras laying around.
