I've had no problems what so ever with that. So I guess it comes down to which computer you have. So it's a stupid question because everyone will have different experiences.
I only ask because I remember there being a lot of issues when it launched, including the skin and a lot of bugs that made the gameplay not super smooth, so I was wondering how it is to play now that it's been through a few patches.

I asked a few months ago, but how does this game play now after the patches? Is it smoother than it was at launch?

Certainly improved in some respects, such as the auto booking and some products.
I saw some crazy things with pop on patch 9 (eg a manager going from 11 to 60 in a month and a half); there was reference to tweaks to popularity in a more recent patch, so I don't know if that has been fixed.
There are some balancing issues being pointed out elsewhere, such as the ability to create your own broadcaster and spamming PPVs being both significantly overpowered.
That's great hopefully by the end of the BETA, it'll be a lot easier to play than it was the start. I'm glad they've ironed out some of the issues and made it a better play.

It'll be pretty similar to copying the new patch over the old exe. So it's pretty straight forward.

I'm using a different skin, and I find a lot of the information a lot less intimidating and I'm able to find the features a lot easier to handle. I'm not sure whether I'm just a bit more used to it, but the fact that I have to scroll more on this version without my mouses scroller feels a lot less of an issue.

The product search helps in trying to find something closer to how I want to play. But it does take out a more sandboxy EWR kind of game with how this is.
In fairness to Adam this was promised in the Developers journal, and he is going to open it up to adding other products to the game.

I'm sure the base game is good, but with the UI, I don't want to play it.

Initial thoughts off the bat - I found the close button a lot more useful in the 2016 game. Not having the highlight option for text on all screens, makes it sorta confusing to find where you're looking in the list box.

As we're just over a week away from the trial version being released, I want to say a big thankyou for your hardwork and your teams hardwork, on what looks like will be another fantastic installment.

Before a real world mod comes out, I'm gonna probably do a few tests for Schedule and TV stations, as that'll have a huge impact on my overall game idea.

They got 2010 and 2013 on Steam, as well as a few other games, but it's good they aren't overly reliant on them.

Don't see why it would have an effect, given that it's sold digitally
The game is still in development, it wouldn't affect distribution, but I'm not sure how the virus might affect Ryland's team which is the only reason I ask a weird question.
