1. Thank you for keeping this going. A somewhat actively updated real world modwill allow this game to go on forever. Much appreciated.

I let it use tv station. How can I let it use my ppv as well?

I'm interested in this as well. Also interested if I can change what TV station they use. I'm using the Modern Warriors mod with UFC and it only lets me use Fight Pass even though I created a much larger broadcaster and don't use Fight Pass anymore.

 3. I'm not referring to the "draw" ratings, but rather the credibility tab. I know there's the whole thing about a top 5 opponent being a better draw in a championship bout, I'm fine with losing on the draw. What I think I have a problem with is even if you do have a top 5 opponent, if it's not the #1 contender it's effecting credibility. I'm 99% sure that I had a fight with the #2 and #3 contenders at the time of the fight(not just match up). They were fights I had built to specifically which is why it threw me off. I hadn't been paying attention to the credibility tab until that point as this is one of my first play throughs, but my low company credibility(despite an amazing financial track record) tells me it's probably been happening since the get go.
 4. Not sure it deserves its own thread but deserves notice imo- There's a serious problem with the promotional "credibility" imo. You receive a -12% for each title fight that is not against the #1 contender, even if it's against the #3 and the #1 and #2 have already lost to the champ recently. If you have multiple title fights on a card, this basically makes it impossible to maintain a respectable credibility. On top of that, the rewards for credibility don't match the deductions. Not only do you receive deductions more frequently if you don't adhere to very strict match making by the rankings only, but the percentages are also larger than the rewards. You receive 1-3% for having a strong champ or making a fight between 2 ranked opponents, but make a match outside of the rankings and receive deductions anywhere from 1-12% and a bunch of 3% penalties that add up quickly. TL/DR: If you run events rapid fire and don't stick to 1v2 rankings all the time, I don't know if there's any way to properly maintain your promotional credibility. Is there a way to edit or turn this off in the database editor?

 6. Playing the Pride vs. UFC mod and Ken Shamrock just died in a car accident. RIP Ken.

Have a separate database for each year? Kind of like Modern Warriors Chronicles? Start with 1993 and then incrementally add stuff year after year?

This could enable a very cool playthrough and replayability Crusader Kings-style - you pick a year and start playing from there. C-verse could also benefit from such an approach. Too bad WMMA doesn't allow for that in one database - you could pick a year and it would just not take into account any records that are after that date.

Anyway - seems like a great idea. Need any help with that? I'm a newbie moder but can try and devote some time to the tasks that don't need too much knowledge.

I'm playing with "agers" and stuff to get it all down. It'll certainly start as separate databases and require a lot of testing. Once I get a couple eras that I feel comfortable with I'll post them in hopes that people help me play through them and test what needs to be ironed out.

Some things aren't going to be able to be perfect, and some guys will definitely end up with different career arch's then in real life history, but my basic hopes is that you it's basically a mod that you can jump into at any point of "present", "1998", or "1993". Still playing with the open weight stuff to see if it's going to be realistic enough to try and replicate the UFC 1-15 style tournaments that saw huge weight mismatches mainly due to Royce Gracie.

I'm no where near as deep into mine as some other dedicated modders and I highly suggest you play their's, as I know I will be myself. My early thoughts are I'll have a working version for a current era mod within a couple weeks, and hopefully the entire thing within 3-6 months. How long will depend on variables like free time, how much I can incorporate from other people's work, and how long it takes to figure out the kinks in testing and add all the necessary narratives and agers to get it functioning as close to accurately as possible.

 8.
Thanks! This is awesome.

I'm starting the daunting task of trying to do something that could be played at anytime from 1993 on. This will help tremendously with this era.

Fewer takedowns maybe?

Would fights be generally more exciting as there would be less using the perimeter to reduce an attackers opportunities (e.g. BJJ fighters would have more space to operate?)

Not a direct answer to your question, but there is a specific rating that fighters have under "mental" that controls how comfortable they are in a cage, and how comfortable they are in a ring.

Thanks

 11. Is there a way to copy the entire default database and edit it? I don't want to edit the default but want to play with some stuff.
