  2. Just curious, what level do people set their tag team titles at? I have my main championship (primary) and then my TV championship (secondary, or tertiary if I make a US title). I just never know what to do with the tag team titles.

Bascially depends on what kind of promotion you are running.

Most promotions today i would say floating or midcard but if you are like All Japan in the early 90s then the tag titles should almost be as important as the main title.

  3. It's not a penalty designed around die-hard fans. It's about casual fans. Kids. Parents. People going to see the wrestling for a laugh who don't care about "workrate" or "match quality". You know, classic WWE fans. In that sense, I can see it not being so suitable for a PWG... although I'm sure if you put 2 unknowns in front of that crowd, the first few minutes would be pretty quiet.

I can agree the penalty is a bit of a hat on a hat. A penalty for low popularity when the product is already penalizing the workers for low popularity. If Perception worked better, if it wasn't just 95% overness, then I could see a need for it.

Die-hards would. Casuals... might. A lot of casual fans may decide to take a piss break (penalty) but the match would probably still score well (if these guys are good. I've seen spots) and next time they could be recognisable. They fans would really respond to their match.

Perhaps I'm seeing the penalty as wrong. I don't see fans as being "mad" at these matches. I see it as not caring. Pulling out their phones or going to buy snacks. Not reaction. Not enjoying. Worse rating.

I think this is ONLY the case with WWE crowds that are trained to not care about people who aren't stars.

On AEW people went apeshit for a totally unknown Kris Statlander even without a super match.

I feel like it's the same in NJPW. If you put on a great enough match you will win the crowd over.

Remember Hiromu Takakhashis return from excursion?

I also think it's bad becuse it makes it very hard to build up a women's division from scratch. They cant fight each other becuse the crows won't care and the grade will lower your overall rating and they can't be booked in matches against the men(If you are going for a somewhat realistic product).

    You are basically fukked.

  4. Quick Question. In older games if you had a person on loan and the loan expired their titles became vacated(If they held any). Now i'm i just crazy or did Adam write something about this not being the case for TEW 2020. That you had to vacate the title yourself basically which gives the opportunity to bring the worker back at a later date to defend the title again.

Is this the case or did i just totally make it up in my head? :)

  7. Realistically should it be that easy. Think about in the real world how many people would theoretically have reached 100 pop. Hulk Hogan & The Rock, maybe. Guys like SCSA, HBK, Taker, etc maybe in the 90s? The rest should reasonably be around the 80s. A 100 pop should be a once in a generation guy. There really should never be more than one or two guys at that in any game world at any point.

But beyond that theres a lot to take into consideration:

    Pop caps:

Some wrestlers outright cant go 0 to 100.

    Theres your company itself:

    Audience size:

Then theres so many tiny things that can effect growth:

    Selfish workers

A worker willing to make another look good

Though ultimately why not just raise their pop to 100 and save yourself some time?

    Austin, Inoki, Baba, Santo....

  8. <p>Hey, just got the game. Just wondering if i'm doing it wrong or if there really is no way off coaching matches during the playoffs. I can only simulate and see who won. No results, no stats no nothing. If any games should have the ability to be coached you feel it should be the playoffs.</p><p> </p><p>

So am i just doing this wrong or is that just not possible(Becuse if that's really the case it's very dumb).</p>
