Bent

Another two years in the books. In this time, EGA has risen in size to tiny, and also signed a deal with Wrestleword. We are now doing 4 tv-shows and one event each month. We lost money the first 4 months since we signed with Wrestleword, but a few weeks into January and it looks like we might be breaken even this month, and turning a profit again soon, For achievements i've gotten a few more in addition to the already mentioned one for reaching Tiny, which i got in August of 22. That achievement got me “Whose line is it anyway?” giving a nice boost to my Microphone skill as that was lagging behind my charisma. I actually got Tiny thanks to another achievement. For achieving a 75 rated match with my UC against, you guessed it, Ernest Youngman again, i got "Internet Sensation" for a second time. The pop boost for the company was enough to take us over the threshold for tiny. The Worker boost went to La star 1, which of course meant he came and asked for double his old wages just a few weeks later. I also got a 75 rated card a year earlier, earning me "Fists and Feet of Fury". I put the points into my brawling skills. For the end of the year rewards i got “Solid? Liquid? Gas?” and “Run Forest Run”. For the latter i put it all into Athleticism. Elsewhere in the saves world, I got a news notification about CWA being in financial difficulties in June of 2021. Unfortunately i was about 5million short of the 5 million needed to buy them out, and they closed their doors two months later. In December of the same year, Soul Taker decided to step down as booker for EILL. But with them being a large company i was unable to apply for the job and he was replaced by Nicolas Lopez. In December of 2022 WINNOW also went bankrupt. While i could have bought them out, it didnt seem worth it, especially since im currently loosing money due to the production increase as a result of my deal with Wrestleworld.

After getting back into the game a few weeks ago and spending some time relearning it (i just found out yesterday you need to upgrade your merchandise, i was literally throwing away free money as a medium company) I'm ready to give this challenge a go. I have tried it on older iterations of TEW, and I also tried on this game just after launch, but i've never completed the challenge before, Hopefully this will be my first time. The Company i will be starting at is called Empire Grappling Alliance, and are based in the Tri-state Area. The product is the same as MAWs, so Golden Age Pro Wrestling Edit: First year done. I was only running one show a month in my home region, and then 1 show a week in other regions just to get some more action and training for my UC and spread my pop-growth a bit, but I've been growing slower than expected in my home region doing it this way, so I've now changed it up to 4 shows a month in my home region. For the end of year roll, i got "Internet Sensation" but even with the added +2 company pop from that, im only at an 8 in the tri-state area. I also got two other achievements during the year. For my first show in the Tri-state area i got a 56 show rating, and for my second show there i got a 51 match rating in a match between my UC and Ernest Youngman. Both of these ratings where of course due to my UC's excellent wrestling abilities (I believe i got a 17 individual rating in the match against Ernest, he probably could have done better against a broom). For these two rolls i got “You Can Dance If You Wanna” and “The RTG Movement”. 10 safety and a temporary modifier isnt what i was hoping for, but they're not completely useless either, although the “Groundswell of support” is already gone now at the end of the year, so i got 10 months or less only out of that boost. in other news Larry Vessey passed away in late August, and with a new owner coming in to NYCW the booking position also opened up. It would have been a natural progression from my UC since im already based in NY, and it would have been a nice boost to my progression since they where only 4 pop-points off of hitting small at the time. Unfortunately they decided to go in a different direction instead, and hired Nathan Coleman,

To be fair, it only say that Kobashi got beat up. Evans probably got 10 of his friends to jump him or something.

I'm done with 2024 now, and still with my starting company. I made it up to cult mid November of 24, and is now running a weekly tv-show on Canal dos. Not the most lucrative deal by any means, but we got $15 mill in the bank, and made 100k for the first full month of people on written contracts, and no events except tv. My rolls so far has been: Year 1: 15 - +20 steroids 2: 1 - Joined COTT 3: 41 - Already had 75 Wholesome. Did a gamble roll and got it up to 100 4: 51 - Hired a dirty Doctor 5: 50 - Created a younger brother, Marvin Drake. 6: 43 - Internet sensation. Cameron Jones ended up getting the Pop inc. 7: 26 - Put it all into Stamina 8: 17 - + 5 to toprow skill. Put it into brawling 9: 7 - My UC is now dating Lucy Stone-McFly This is how my stats looks now, and this is my current popularity. I've gone done from Obese Super heavy to Bulky. Currently I'm #161 in the Power 500. Here are my top 10 matches, which certainly proves it is possible to get decent ratings out of my guy. Now i just have to get to National. My other top stars is a 28 stamina Rick Law, David Stone, who is currently running his own promotion TRWGP and therefore not under written contract, and George Wolfe and Austin Smooth who both somehow not have been stolen away in the numerus raids against me from bigger companies. Luckily both are now locked into written deals with me. I've had at times considered ditching my original company for someone else, including unsuccesful bids at the booking postion in BHOTWG and TCW when they where cult and i regional. BHOTWG wen't out of business about a year later, so perhaps i dodged a bullet there. Now that i've made it to cult, I'll think I will try to ride this company all the way to national. My inital plan was to get to national before the age of 35, so I still got 8 years to achieve that.

I rolled +20 to steroids my first year, and rolled a one in year 2, allowing me to join the COTT. At this point im barely making any progress raising my popularity due to constantly loosing regional battles in the Mid South to QAW and CZCL. Running two shows a month i incease around 0.5 pop while making between 500-2000$ each month.</p><p> </p><p> Then, about a week into the year i notice a message saying MAW is in financial trouble. Just for fun i click attempt takeover, and it turns out they're only 7k in debt. I pillage them, signing alot of their top guys, get their title and the Rip Chord tournament, aswell as a nice boost to my pop in Mid Atlantic.</p>
