1. My bad, wasn't clear. I mean purely for popularity gain (both for my company and for my individual workers). I'm near break even running 4 shows a month, but feel like I'm not gaining much popularity (if any at all) from my later shows
 2. How many shows a month is recommended for Tiny and Small companies? I remember earlier, spamming shows (weekly.... two times a week.... more) was a quick way to gain popularity fast, but there seems to be some diminishing returns to show spamming now. Is two shows a month good?
 3. If you play as WWE, you need to play like the WWE. 1. Besides Royal rumble into Mania, how would you decide who gets title matches at each PPV while saving your BIG title Matches? Point to a random person on the roster. That person gets a title shot. Next night on TV, I have my champion cut a promo and that random person interrupts them. BAM that random person gets a title match because my company has no standards. 2. After finishing a season finale how do you decide who will face who at your next PPV? Same as 1. Pick randomly 3. How do you decide who feuds with who? See above. 4. How do you plan stories into your next Season Finale? HAHAHAHA 5. How do you decide who will get that Big push if any push? With one simple question. "Are they big?" 6. How many rookies and over 40 years talent do you keep around? If there's a company trying to compete with me, then all of them. 7. Who gets fired who gets hired? See above
 4. It's a superheroine action show, but the superheroines and villains take off their clothes for no reason every time they fight
 5. I deleted Alina's morals so that she would work for my porn company
 6.
Welcome to the FIRST and EXCITING episode of Ancient Elemental Wargrounds.

I have decided to do two versions of the diary for now. Depending on which one I'm having more fun with, I may just go with one. I've got a video which is more of a classic description of events, and I got a written version which is told through the eyes of one of the characters, June Allison of the Elemental News Network.

Episode 01: Ancient Elemental Warground

This is June Allison from the Elemental News Network bringing you a recap of the exciting FIRST EVER episode of AEW.

<img alt="npKPC04.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/npKPC04.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Rating: 25

In the initial segment of the show, the amazing voice of Terry Smith explained to us the origins of the Ancient Elemental Wargrounds. We saw a visual of murals on the wall depicting the ancient war from seven thousand years ago. It was explained to us that the Celestials descended from the Heavens to rule over humanity. The Witches rose up to oppose their rule. Allying themselves with demons, they drove the Celestials back to their home of Celestia. However, that was when disaster struck. The demons turned on the witches, ravaging many families and killing millions. It was up to the brave heroes, the Four Elemental Lords to rise up to seal the demons' power inside four crystals. Thank you, Terry, for explaining the situation in such clear and concise terms.

<img alt="Lg6UBAQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Lg6UBAQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="iajHRdT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/iajHRdT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Rating: 23

Next, we see Evil Greedman. Uh oh, he looks like he's up to no good. I can tell by his evil smile. He's looking around in the ruins, looking at some murals on the wall that depict the ancient legend. He laughs, noting that the power of the demons will soon awaken. The ground beneath him starts to shake and from under his feet, a wrestling ring appears. A masked being by the name of The Ethereal Being stands at the center of the ring. The Ethereal Being warns Evil Greedman to leave, but Evil Greedman, being the evil badguy that he is refuses. He laughs maniacally. He points his flashlight at The Ethereal Being. I caught a glimpse of his abs. Whoa! But Evil Greedman, being the no-good badguy that he is starts pointing the flashlight upwards towards The Ethereal Being's face. His face is covered you fool! No, go back to his abs... whoa! What a dreamy mask. I wonder how he looks underneath.

Suddenly, lightning bolts come out of his flashlight and the Ethereal Being falls to his knees. I was too busy staring at... erm... doing journalistic investigation on The Ethereal Being so I didn't catch what happened, but they suddenly both have glowing crystals in their hands. The Ethereal Being stabs Evil Greedman, who laughs despite being bloodied. Then a shadowy demon appears and devours The Ethereal Being. Oh no!

<img alt="npKPC04.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/npKPC04.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Rating: 26

The wonderful voice of Thursdays, Terry Smith, does a wonderful job announcing what is planned for the upcoming show. I don't really know what this wrestling thing is, but it sounds really cool and I get to see half naked men all the time? Cool! I remember being excited as he was announcing the upcoming matches. Oh boy! The rest of the show didn't let me down.

<img alt="NIIxH77.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/NIIxH77.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="iajHRdT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/iajHRdT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Rating: 23

Oh boy oh boy. I'm shaking in my boots. I'm so nervous. This is my debut! Me! An intern at the Elemental News Network covering the biggest story in the history of all histories. But I'm not going to lie. I'm worried. I just saw a demon devouring The Ethereal Being. Yet here he is beside me. His abs. His biceps. His lips and his smooth voice. It's all even better in person.

I asked him what was going on. He gave me some mumbo jumbo about finding the truth and finding good and evil. I don't know what's going on! That wasn't the answer I was looking for. But he motioned me to follow him. I had to. For the truth.

<img alt="tR2VBjf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tR2VBjf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="qwdYVQ7.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qwdYVQ7.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Rating: 26

Pink Mask vs Blue Dragon. A self proclaimed super-heroine against a dragon. A revolutionary match between woman and man. Can this woman, who is at a physical disadvantage defeat this intimidating towering.... oh no, wait a minute. She just did it. Pink Mask just won.

<img alt="CToWGa3.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/CToWGa3.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Lg6UBAQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Lg6UBAQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Rating: 26

This scary looking masked red man, Sam Titus is running in the rain. Doesn't it hurt? He has cuts and bruises all over his body. It turns out he's an ex-convict. He's murdered man policemen and many more are after him. He finds shelter in the ruins of AEW. This good for nothing Evil Greedman shows up. Great. What is he up to now? Sam Titus hides as policemen show up. The policemen question Evil Greedman. Good. Put that man away for good. We have no use for that....

Whaaa? Evil Greedman just pulled out a crystal and all the policemen fell to the ground. No!

<img alt="W5c8byq.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/W5c8byq.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="4EHTAfL.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4EHTAfL.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Rating: 31

Andy Atlas and Jack Marvel are in the back, pumping each other up. Jack is really hot. I'd like to um.... interview... him some time. His friend is kinda cute too. I wonder if they'll have dinner with me. They came here to AEW after investigating a mysterious explosion. Hey! Something in common with me. Please look at me, senpais! Jack turned down a 6 figure contract just to be with me. I mean, be in AEW.

<img alt="4EHTAfL.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4EHTAfL.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="W5c8byq.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/W5c8byq.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="PCMe6c1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/PCMe6c1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="esEsxDe.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/esEsxDe.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Rating: 11

Andy Atlas and Jack Marvel defeat Eric LaMonica and Jason Patterson. Jack was so cool and I'm glad I got to see him up close and personal. Oh no, he already left. I wanted to interview him.

<img alt="HdiuDIv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HdiuDIv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="10HR286.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/10HR286.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Rating: 55

Alina and Frankie Flowater run into each other in the hallway. Alina is stunningly beautiful, poised and confident. Frankie Flowater looks regal and majestic. Something about him just exudes class. Frankie seems very wary of Alina and her overwhelming power. He says that she has an evil presence within her and warns her. He tells her to leave AEW or else he will banish her. She and her evil power will be swept away by the power of the Ocean. Alina does not back down. She mentions her mother and wonders what evil she did. She doesn't seem like such a bad person.

<img alt="4EHTAfL.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4EHTAfL.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="W5c8byq.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/W5c8byq.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Rating: 29

Andy Atlas and Jack Marvel are seen outside the ruins of AEW, celebrating their amazing victory. Andy promises to get stronger and will always have Jack's back. Off in the distance, a cave starts to smoke. Wondering what it is, Jack runs off to investigate. Andy promises to himself that he won't let Jack pull further and further ahead of him. He follows Jack. I love these two. They are so wholesome and such great friends.

<img alt="HdiuDIv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HdiuDIv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="10HR286.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/10HR286.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Rating: 31

In the main event, Alina defeats Frankie Flowater! Oh no! Will the evil residing inside Alina terrorize us all? She may be beautiful, but it's always the beautiful ones that are the troublemakers.

<img alt="HdiuDIv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HdiuDIv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="10HR286.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/10HR286.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="iajHRdT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/iajHRdT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Rating: 39

Frankie tells Alina that she's not so bad. While he still senses this terrifying evil presence, he also sensed the goodness in her heart while they were doing battle. Something about fighting spirit and connecting with each other while they fought. I don't understand men sometimes. Well... in this case man and woman. But still.

Before Frankie is able to leave the ring, The Ethereal Being comes out with his masked henchmen, surrounding the ring. He tells Frankie not to doubt his first instinct. There is indeed a great evil residing in Alina and he will put a stop to it. He tells Frankie to step aside and to let him handle it.

Frankie insists that Alina is not evil and suggests The Ethereal Being to test for himself. The Ethereal Being mentions the Trials of Evil and asks if Alina will go through with it. Alina seeks the truth about her mother, but The Ethereal Being is having none of it. He's here only for business, and his business is whether or not Alina will undergo the Trials. Alina agrees. What will these Trials entail? What will Alina need to go through?

Oh yeah! Remember earlier in the episode? The Ethereal Being was going to show me history. It was incredible. What he told me was... Oh wait, that's all the time I have. Gotta go. Cya next time.

Overall Rating: 39

 7. Long ago, the Descendants of Celestia entered the world through the Gates of Celestia. They ruled over the land with an iron fist. The Celestials kept order over the land, at the expense of freedom. However, there were those that opposed the Celestial rule. They were known as the World Witch Ensemble. The WWE aligned themselves with the Demons of the Ancients in what is to become the Total Elemental War. The WWE and the Demons of the Ancients battled the Celestials, killing millions and driving the Celestials back to the Gates of Celestia. After winning the war, however, the WWE lost control of the Demons of the Ancients, which ravaged and destroyed the land. Four nations lead by the heroes of antiquity known as the Elemental Lords rose up and battled the Demons of the Ancients. After a bloody battle, the four heroes sealed off the power of the Demons within the Elemental Demon Crystals, sacrificing themselves in the process. The power contained within the Elemental Demon Crystals has long been forgotten. Seven thousand years later, the power within the Demon Crystals has begun to materialize and a mysterious arena known as Ancient Elemental Warground has formed. The most powerful beings from across the universe gather. What crisis awaits us? Will the tragedy from over seven thousand years ago repeat? Find out in this gripping, epic tale. Oh yeah, and there's also wrestling. Hello everyone and welcome to my new and completely, totally, soooo original Wrestling show, AEW (thank you, I came up with the name myself). This will be a youtube series. The introductory pre-episode 1 is linked at the top of this post. Here, you will see everything from magic to demons to trikinis to wrestling. Well, maybe not wrestling. If you have no clue what this is about, don't worry. Neither do I. All I know is that an epic journey awaits us all. Stay tuned and see what awaits us all in the FIRST EPISODE of AEW

By the time I get to the show in TEW, most of it is already planned out, so it doesn't take that long. The actual process of creating segments in TEW is pretty quick for me. I'll almost always know which road agent notes I want, too. 90% of my angles are freestyle, especially in 2020 because the default angles don't seem to have been updated and most are still rated on Overness.

Even if I'm playing a game that I don't think will ever make it to a diary, but is in a company that's fairly story-driven (SWF, USPW, 21CW), I still usually use Evernote to keep track of ideas, and can sometimes take a while to come up with the actual show in my head.

If I'm playing a game purely for fun though... yeah, 5-10 minutes and we're done, even quicker now in 2020. Obviously the longer the show physically is, the longer it takes because you have to book more segments, but I don't very often play companies with 3+hr shows, so...

I book starting with the main event in "main event first" mode or whatever the option is called (less time spent rearranging everything after, but that's just personal preference). I'll usually know what the main event is going to be, and a few storyline matches, but other than that I just go with the flow and book stuff.

But like FIN said, the actual time the process takes depends a lot on what the purpose of the save game is.

Testing, mucking about, just having fun? 5-10 minutes on the TEW booking screen.

Diary or storyline-driven game? 5-10 minutes on the TEW booking screen, untold hours in Evernote planning it all. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Yeah, I go diary-mode, mostly because my ideas are so dumb that I just HAVE to put it down on paper. 5-10 minutes clicking the buttons on the TEW screen, but it takes me around 1.5 hours to book a show

I book on the fly. I know the result of one match in my next PPV and that's about it. On each show, I think of an opening and an ending. Then once I know what image I want to end the show on, I'll start at the beginning again and just book forward. In a certain sense, I'm "experiencing" the show as I'm writing it

 9. As others have mentioned, putting your rising talent in angles with main eventers helps a lot, but you don't want them to be taking L's (your 92 pop main eventer might not be so keen on losing to a 10 pop 19-year old). You may want them to be involved in stories with the top guys, but have matches against jobbers or lower midcarders to keep their momentum hot, which would then feed into how good their angles are with the main eventers.
 10.
Episode 2 has been released

In this episode, you will see Alina and... well... You will see Alina.

Watch as Alina goes through Masked Badboss' gruelling trials. Will our destined hero be able to pass the first trial? Will she be able to uncover the truth and get one step closer to her revenge? Find out on World Overdrive Wrestling

 11. The revolutionary historic first ever WORLD OVERDRIVE WRESTLING is out In this episode, you will enjoy excellent wrestling (lol), heartfelt promos, and of course the three things I promised in the above post. I managed to shoehorn everything in there. Also I'm in debt after running one show. Production values are really killing me Watching this back, there were far too many "likes" and "you knows." I'll try to cut down on them in episode 2

 14. It's hard to replicate meteoric rises to the top right out of the gate, but given some time (say 4+ months) you can push a rookie all the way to the top (barring poor destiny rolls) without jobbing your main eventers to them. I would put them in angles with popular workers multiple times per show, but keep them away from each other when it comes to match time. The storylines and angles will build up the rookie's popularity rapidly. During the build, sacrifice some mid-carders to your rookie. With just storylines, you should be able to build your rookie to mid-card status to the point that midcarders wont complain too much. Do this for a few months and your rookie should be UMC or ME status From a realism standpoint, since you've kept your rookie away from your main eventers (match-wise. They may be involved in storyline), it builds anticipation from the crowd for their eventual encounter/match
 15. Every time a jobber loses, have 5 jobbers come out and beat up the winner so you can justify having 5 guys with major success angles
