    UFC Then to Now (hype)

    Several months ago I began using the Dawn of MMA Revamped mod.

     

    I have an ambitious goal. To play until the present day. I've reached May 24th, 2004.

     

    The difference from a typical game? I left generated fighters on. So the world is diverging far from reality as it progresses. Some RW stars have crashed. There have been some surprising stars. Tyson is still fighting.

     

    While I'm not planning a proper diary, I do intend to provide updates, and a major retrospective if I do make it to the present day.

     

    As for what's going on?

     

    Tonight's show is UFC 374. I've been having weekly shows for some time, and I have no TV shows. I'm awaiting the finals of Tough Enough season 13. UFC is #1 in the world, floats around 100% popularity in the US, Canada, the British Isles and Australia. Our weakest market is Russia. Our private networks cover the entire world. $431 million in the bank. No opportunity yo buy out another fed to use as a feeder league.

    Hi,

     

    I've wanted to do this for a while, and finally worked out the kinks, I hope.

     

    It's a simple idea, take the default Cornellverse and merge it with gazwefc83's Killing the Business mod. Full permission was received.

     

    I've made almost no changes, except adding a tiny Canadian federation that was founded by a lottery winner and has already brought Bret Hart and Lance Storm on board.

     

    More news soon, as I suspect this will be ready in short order.
