  1. Thanks for the advice, guys. Her Star Quality is 57, and I have people with lesser Star Quality than her(Sarah Logan, Jungle Kyona, Momo Watanabe, Riho, Tsukushi) that are a lot more over than she is, so I'm gonna try changing her gimmick and see how that goes. Edit: It worked! She's finally taken a big jump up to 27 pop.
  2. What are some of the best ways to push a worker? I'm playing as STARDOM and I'm trying to push AZM, but nothing I do gets her popularity any higher. She's not the greatest wrestler just yet, but she's good enough for a push. Right now her momentum is "Ice Cold" despite her overall career record being 60-34, her record this year being 10-3, a midcard title on her, a big win over Sarah Logan (who's pop was 47). AZM's pop has been 21 for over a year now. I try and I try, but nothing works. Only thing I can think of trying now is turning her babyface.
  3. Is there a setting I can change so that I can use the arrow keys to go down a list? It's a huge pain in the ass to individually click every worker that I want to look at
  4. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="SomeGuy" data-cite="SomeGuy" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47811" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>On the worker page look where their popularity is listed by area, there's a couple of arrows at the top of that box, hit one and you get the option to release them. Why it's there I have no idea, took me an age to figure it out.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yeah I still have no idea. The UI is really confusing. And I don't plan on advancing a single day until I can fire Matt Striker.</p><p> </p><p> Edit: Ohhhhhh nevermind I see it</p>
  5. How do you fire someone? I've taken over IMPACT and the first thing I want to do is fire Matt Striker
  6. I got the dreaded "last post on the page" spot, so I'm just gonna copy/paste this here.
  7. I'm doing a RW mod with PROGRESS and I'm tired of being dismantled by the Regional Battles system and RevPro. My production levels are at the very least, on par with everyone else expect for NXT UK but my shows keep getting dinged for having lower production values. Now, I assume that every other British company is getting the same penalties, yet RevPro is consistently putting on shows in the 60-75 range while my highest show ever is a 48. To be fair, they are using talent from NJPW and British stars like PAC and ZSJ (my 2 biggest stars are Scurll and Aldis) so I can understand them putting on some amazing cards. BUT one of their lowest rated recent shows was a 57, with the main event being a 59. And my best and most recent show was a 48, but with a main event of 61(Scurll vs. Mandrews for the title). Obviously there's a lot of context missing, but these numbers just don't make sense to me. Can someone help me out? Should I just pay WWE lump sums to use a wrestler or two for every card to give myself a boost?
  8. I believe it's been reported that Cain Velasquez has signed a multi year deal.
  9. <p>I'm still struggling with putting on great main events.</p><p> </p><p> This is the blurb from Jericho vs. Ultimo Dragon.</p><p> "In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have that much heat..."</p><p> </p><p> Match rating: 80</p><p> </p><p> This is the blurb from Luger vs. Nash(my main event).</p><p> "In a bout that had fantastic heat and great wrestling..."</p><p> </p><p> Match rating : 78</p><p> </p><p> I just don't get how this makes sense. I do get how the first match was better, Luger vs. Nash had a lack of selling and a tainted finish, but the match ratings don't correlate with the blurbs. Any explanation?</p><p> </p><p> I know there's so much that goes into a rating so I can't get a perfect explanation, but any ideas would be great.</p>
  10. <p>I wanna thank Bigpapa42 & FankuKaibutsu for the great feedback!</p><p> </p><p> I'm glad you guys got behind the idea of turning Goldberg heel, and right now I'm thinking Eddie is a good choice to take him down, with an outside choice being Sean Morley, who I've picked up before WWF did and I'm trying to give a serious run as a serious wrestler, including putting him in The 4 Horsemen.</p><p> </p><p> Eddie just has more potential than Benoit, especially when it comes to character and mic work.</p><p> </p><p> As for what to do with the nWo, I'm still a little undecided. I like the idea of just killing off the nWo(well, just Hogan really) but Hogan is just too big of a star to let go of. Maybe I'll just give him some time off and bring him back as a babyface.</p>
  11. How to end the nWo Storyline The nWo was what really sent WCW into the stratosphere, but it also greatly contributed into the demise of the WCW. I'm playing as WCW in 1998(UC is Eric Bischoff) and I'm trying to create a nice ending or the nWo before things get out of hand. One thing that's set in stone(God permitting) is that the main event for Starrcade '98 will be Goldberg vs. Hollywood Hulk Hogan for Big Gold(Hogan heading in as Champ). Goldbergs wins and replaces Hogan as the figurehead for WCW. Current ideas: Goldberg destroys the nWo Goldberg goes over clean at Starrcade '98. This leaves the nWo in shambles. They've been trying to stop this monster for months and they just can't. Ashamed, Hogan goes into hiding for a few months, the rest of the nWo move on and do their own things(I might just release some of the lower members). New gimmicks, some turns. Goldberg reigns supreme atop the WCW. Do things just go back to normal, classic WCW? Just some classic wrasslin, heels, babyfaces, tournaments, so on and so forth. Or... Does the nWo stay together and turn babyface? In this angle, the nWo would cool things down after Starrcade '98 and realize the error of their ways after some time. This babyface nWo would be led by Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. I could maybe even rename it nWo Wolfpac and bring in the black and red(but no Sting in the Wolfpac. I don't want him to ever wear an nWo shirt). From here, there's the possibility of bringing Hogan back in, but remaining a heel. He returns, expecting to come back and take over the nWo, just like old times, but Nash and Hall refuse, and they feud, with maybe someone joining Hogan(not sure on that.) Or... nWo is completely disbanded after Starrcade '98. No more nWo theme, no shirts, no two sweeting. It's gone it's done...until they need to reform years down the line to take down the monster...Goldberg. Another big question I'm faced with is, how do you end Goldberg's streak? I don't want to go down the cattle prod route, that's for sure. One thing I'm a big fan of is what Harvey Dent said, "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." In this angle, Goldberg becomes the villain. He's big, he's bad, he's scary, and not a single person can do a thing to stop him.... Until the fans beg for the reformation of the nWo. So Hall, Nash, and Hogan bring the band back together for one night only and take down the monster Goldberg. I love that last idea, the only problem is that it'll take years to get the pay off, and the nWo isn't exactly made up of young, clean living, healthy men.
  12. No, I'm owned by Ted Turner. Time Warner is a media group. They do my PPV(Time Warner) and TV(TBS, TNT). They have no TV coverage in Japan, so I'm trying to negotiate with TV Asahi for some TV coverage in Japan, but Time Warner is blocking it. TV Asahi only has coverage in Japan. So I'm not seeing the conflict of interest here. It was built into the mod, but Time Warner is allowing me to do the same thing in Mexico and Canada, where they don't have any TV coverage for Nitro.
  13. My broadcaster is blocking every negotiation I try to have with another broadcaster, even if my current broadcaster doesn't have coverage in that region. The message I get is: "Your broadcaster, Time Warner, have blocked this move as this broadcaster has clashing coverage with one under their media umbrella." I've read this message 100x and still can't figure out what it means. Am I stuck with Time Warner until my deal with them is done?
  14. <p>How do you know when a worker has gotten off of drugs/alcohol/pain killers?</p><p> </p><p> I sent a worker to rehab, and on his first show back he shows up wasted. I don't want to fire him but I don't want to waste my time sending him to rehab again.</p><p> </p><p> Also just send another kid to rehab, so now I'm worried this isn't going to work for him either. These are lower card guys so it's not a big deal, but I also have Scott Hall on the roster...</p>
  15. I have guys that are out of action, but have the *, indicating that I can use them for angles...except I can't use them for angles anytime I try to book them.
  16. Tips to putting on better main events? I'm struggling to get to the mid-80's while WWF is over there literally putting on 5* matches on Raw. HBK's average rating is in the mid 90's.
  17. <p>Any tips to helping improve the backstage morale?</p><p> </p><p> I'm playing as WCW in 98, and it's a disaster. Tons of people have problems with Hogan, Nash, Hall, Bischoff(my user character), and just about everyone is upset about the toxic backstage environment.</p><p> </p><p> Dusty Rhodes is the only one helping the cause!</p>
