  1. I've asked and he is fine with it. Hopefully he doesn't have a change of heart in the next 6 months.
  2. Teaming up Steve Frehley and Reno Richardson as a dominant main event duo in TCW. Any suggestions for a good name?
  3. Playing as TCW now, and I made an alliance with PGHW. I have borrowed Ugaki and Kawashima for matches with Greg Gauge in his “TV title open challenge”. The matches haven’t been bad at all. 82 with Ugaki and 79 with Kawashima. The TCW product definitely allows for great wrestlers to have good matches even with low popularity. My goal is to run one of my “Saturday Night Showcase” special events in Japan and do a crossover show. We will see how that works out. My popularity there isn’t high enough yet to run it in front of enough people, but those shows run on Netstream which has atleast some exposure in Japan. I may just end up running it in the US. Maybe Hawaii?
  4. I’m not very in to Edd Stone. I have no idea why. But I do need to get him some momentum back because he is useful as a TV challenger or a Total Mayhem match partner. He has for sure slid down the babyface pecking order for me. Solidly behind Andrews, Hawkins, Cornell, Bach, Barrett, Bright, Ranger, Umaga (shockingly), and OMA. It happen by accident, but Umaga has gotten over quickly. He held the tag belts with Toma until Total Mayhem. Toma is going to rehab, so Umaga is going to get some work on his own to see what he can do. He’s “Red Hot”, showing up as a Star on my roster screen, and bumped up to Light Heavyweight which raised his star quality to 72. He might get a title shot on TV against Chord soon.
  5. This is a great idea, but I think I’ll use Gauge instead. Seems like a feud with Andrews after losing to Frehley/Remo would definitely be a way to “make” him. And I was kinda treading water with Andrews after the loss(es) to the duo as well. As of now I’m planning to move the title from Andrews to Chord to Gauge to Frehley (gotta get the first guy to win it in SWF/USPW/TCW storyline in there) to Cornell to Hawkins over the next two years. One of those will probably need to be short since Chord will hold for 11 months. Probably Cornell because he is likely in to time decline. Not sure yet as he hasn’t had a match, but two years down the road he definitely will be.
  6. I am playing as TCW in 2020, and I have Steve Frehley and Remo Richardson debuting as a duo interfering in the Summer Showdown main event (and costing Aaron Andrews the title). I expect them to (obviously) be a main event fixture as a team for the next year plus. But, I can't think of a good name for them. Any suggestions for a good main event name? Also, the match will be a 3-way with Andrews and Jay Chord, but I haven't yet settled on the 3rd guy. Chord will be winning the belt, and I will team whomever the 3rd guy is up with Andrews against Remo and Frehley. My top candidates are Mohammad Barrett (Mighty Mo), Ranger, and Greg Gauge (who would need to turn). The other two would likely be Chord's first opponents off for the title, so I want to make sure I choose wisely. I am leaning towards Ranger, who is undefeated since signing and could use the rub of a BIG feud even on the losing end. But, I would like to save Chord vs Gauge for the title at Total Mayhem 2021. One Man Army or Malili Umaga (Akima Brave) are also available as a partner for Andrews or a one off title match vs Chord. Elsewhere on the card, Wolf Hawkins has disbanded The Syndicate and turned face after a returning Tommy Cornell (!!) began helping him get his groove back. Eventually, it will be Hawkins and Cornell vs Remo and Frehley for the tag belts, hopefully at Total Mayhem. Joshua Taylor is leading "Taylor Academy" as a "wrestling school" type stable with Tavon Blake Jr, Matt Blackburn, and graduate Bailey Penn, who is a former pro-boxed with decent starting popularity. Taylor and Penn currently hold the tag belts. TV champ T-Bone Bright beat Gauge at Total Mayhem for the belt and hasn't lost all year, but he will eventually lose and be on the way to the main event. For now, he is going to have "Wild Brawls" in the mid-card with big men because that's a requirement in TCW's product, and he is perfect for it. So... any suggestions for a name for Frehley/Remo and a potential partner for Andrews would be greatly appriciated!
  7. In my head, Angry Gilmore comes out to something by Blood For Blood. Probably "Tear Out My Eyes", because it fits lyrically and is one of their few songs that wouldn't require editing... I also like this for a "Bray Wyatt" style cult character. Usually John Greed for me.
  8. Goofing around a bit with a new SWF save. I'm listening to "The Lapsed Fan's" fantastic WWF 1997 retrospective for like the 5th time (seriously, it's like 100 hours of podcast but it's great) and trying to book SWF a little differently. I do like the idea of changing the product to Ruthless Aggression, because I do feel like the product needs some edge to beat USPW and to get my creative juices flowing. Nicky Champion's contract is coming up 3 months in and him vs Golden for the top spot is a multi-year multi-layered storyline I can see working for me. Spade and Starr are also guys I enjoy booking, and I can see Des Davids as Farooq in The Nation with guys like Lenny Brown, Makutsi, and Primus Allen around him. Though in modern parlance that might be a babyface group. Trying to stay away from heel authority figures in general. Might make someone into a figurehead authority, just not sure who In RIPW I have made a few new tag teams. Dreadnaught and SoVen (As PsychoBully) are running Biker gimmicks as "Sons Of Destruction", Whole Lotta Marvin is now Big Papa Marvin, teamins with Big Papa Swoll as..."The Big Papas". Not proud of that one. And Zap Powerson is teaming with Will Beaumont in a team designed to be split once they reach the big time, though I don't have a name for them. Does anyone know if RIPW will sign with WresleWorld?

That's not how a real GM would act. Its cartoony, maybe he can laugh maniacally and twirl his mustache while he's at it. His motivation would be to make the most money and accumulate the most power possible. Rocky would be the obvious choice. When Rocky rebuffs him the pride gets hurt and he sees the need to install someone loyal to him. <p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I am also not a huge fan of the corrupt official, or a heel authority figure in general at this point. Although I do think a Dario Cueto in Lucha Underground esque villain works really well. An authority figure who just wants violence for the sake of violence, and because he knows that what the bloodthirsty fans really want. Sorta like a Dana White turned up afew notches. I could totally see Eric in this role.</p>

Should it be clean, tainted, interference, or distraction and can you think of someone that would have a reason to help The Crippler or wanna damage Golden? or a good story</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> A couple ideas:</p><p> </p><p> 1. The feud with Scythe continues, and Scythe interferes or distracts to cost Golden the belt. Setting up a Casket Match or something of the like in the future.</p><p> </p><p> 2. Eric Eisen, as commissioner, causes Golden to lose. Setting up a weird Austin/McMahon style storyline. I don't like this as much because Rocky doesn't seem like the anti-hero type, but maybe Eric sees Golden as his brother/father's choice as the face of the company and he wants to insert someone else (Crippler? Remo? Davids? Spade?) and builds a stable to keep Golden down until he wins it back at Supreme Challenge.</p>
  11. Yeah, when I say “I have found” I should probably mention that I found it by reading the help menus. The angles in this game are a big learning curve but I think that overall the system is so much better.
  12. I’ve found that any angle over 4 minutes that uses overness is going to tank. Not sure what the angle was, but if it was a straight up promo by Knight , try Vessey being not rated on anything. And if it was a promo/attack angle, or any other situation where Vessey wasn’t out there the whole time, you can go into agent notes and have Vessey in a “cameo appearance”, which I have found helps the angle rating and also is realistic.
  13. Thank you! This definitely helped me out, especially with Wolf and Doc having great chemistry for me. I did Andrews/Huggins at Malice, with Wolf/Doc vs OMA/Arsenal (another chemistry match!) on the undercard and Bach/Chord going to a 30 minute draw to set up the 3 way in February. I will likely do a two month Wolf/Doc vs the Meat Boys ending in a cage match at Battleground and Mo going heel (and becoming "Primetime" Mohammad Barrett) on his partner after the loss to set up a match between them at Total Mayhem. The potential top faces are a little hard to find, but I have a much better feel for Mo as a heel. T-Bone should be ready pretty quick with everyone and their mother offering to put him over, plus I have another plan. I think I will have Andrews retain at Total Mayhem and then have him lose it to Chord right after. Tommy Cornell's contract is coming up around then, and having him return as a babyface makes a ton of sense to me. I will throw as much money at him as I have to in order to bring him in. The tag scene in TCW definitely needs a shot in the arm. I've brought in the Samoan Pitbulls and they will win the titles from the Behemoths right away. I'm thinking about bringing in a few teams (Rich & Famous, American Cobras, anyone else?) and doing a Tag Team invitational to debut them. Greg Gauge is going to beat people for the TV title on every episode of Total Wrestling through at least Total Mayhem. May have him drop it to T-Bone not long after that, but maybe not. I wish the International belt wasn't scrapped, and I may bring it back in a tournament of some kind (I love tournaments). I'm trying to not have the TV title defended at all on PPVs, and I would like a second belt for PPV. I'm thinking about running Saturday Night Showcase as a 4-5 times a year TV event in the mold of "Saturday Night's Main Event" or "Clash Of The Champions". A little worried the TV companies will want me to run it monthly though, so we will see. An idea for the incoming excursions from PGHW, I have signed Yuta Isono and put him in MAW, but when he is ready I plan to bring him up and have him managed by Kammy Ling (who speaks Japanese and English), with a revolving stable of excursion guys running interference and acting as tag fodder.
  14. TCW is usually my favorite promotion to run, but not knowing what to do with Wolf Hawkins for the 4 months before Total Mayhem has me really struggling. I like the idea of "King Of Kings", and I see this being a problem every year. Not sure how to work around it. Might work with it for a year and then move it to March in year two. Any ideas on what to do with him for now? I don't like the idea of having him defend the title shot, but any other program seems a little off.
