1. I would upgrade this and say ‘it’s pretty certain it’s due to the mod you’re using’.
 2. Still not played the game yet, but did you perform the maintance portion in the instructions tab? That used to be an issue in the past and was fixed with a one cell drag. If its somehting different, we'd probably need your current excel sheet and save file.
 3.
I don't have the game yet but glad to see the file is still around and glad its being kept up to date with any new stat and features from the 2020 release <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Is the update 'bug' still a problem as I think I found a way to add an 'alert' to the user that there was an issue and that the maintence step was needed (to save having to do the drag down each update) but don't think I ever released any updated versions back in the day.

Edit : Also! Farewell TinyPic! (see old thread) You were conveinient back in 2016....

Edit 2: Shocked Sendspace still exists and the original file never got deleted there as I clog up 6mb of their server for free for 4 years. That implies that at least one person has downloaded the file every 30 days for the past 4 years.... that's pretty cool.

Edit 3 : Also didnt realise the game hadn't yet released >.< Assumed it was given that the sheet was updated <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

 4. in _code02, column AJ you'll find the BRAND> So have a blank column in _WorkerSetup looking at that (e.g., in cell FO4, "=_code02!AJ2" and drag down a signigicant amount)... Then, get the TEW2016 tab to look directly to the _WorkerSetup tab to grab the data for sorting (i.e., _WorkerSetup must never be re-ordered, but you can do various sorts and stuff with the main tab). I think..... i made this year ago and have been modding Motorsport Manager for the past year, I've really not played any TEW.
 5. Does anyone have any ideas on the gimmick/personality/persona for CV97's Sid Streets and Sean McFly. As two of Swf's top stars, I don't really know these two enough to understand them, and thus, how I feel like booking them.
 6.
Still loving this mod. I've decided to, for the first time ever, to try SWF for a serious lengthy game.

As I aphave always in the past created my own promotions from nothing building up, I have decided to see what the other end of the game looks like (since first playing Tew 2005) as it's rare for me to take my generated company much beyond cult (as the grind from regional to cult seems to take forever, I end upnlosing steam once I hit it).

What I really like, which I never realised before, was the starting storylines, which involved everyone. As I've always found that when starting a non-company is harder as I don't really understand the story of all the current workers. In a way, I kinda wish they had more storyline history built into the game, so you can see much more of the oath they have taken to get to where I pick them up in 1997 (though I know realistically that's far too much work).

I thought about trying to recreate some Cverse SWF history with this save, so does anyone know if there exists any Canon-ish fuels and storylines which happens in the SWF between 1997 and 2005 (beyond the starting feuds)?

I have the total liniage to go by, and I have the knowledge of some workers (I am looking forward to Lobster Warrior assuming he develops well) and know that the world won't parallel like the actual CVerse, but it would be awesome to have some canon crossover. Anyone know of any resources I can look at?

Thanks in advance for trying to help! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

https://www.mediafire.com/?dd7dyaexy3lg77y

Okay, the reason you're not seeing all of the stars is because I setup the original excel sheet to only check each workers contracts for the FIRST 100 workers... It seems like this dataset has a total of 132 workers - so those 32 workers are missing from the sheet. As I was only using CVerse, I never had a situations where I had over 100 workers - so never tested the limits.

As a quick fix, in CODE01, you need to drag the final entry in Column E down further to the orange line...

You then need to look at Column H, row 4 and change =SMALL($G$4:$G$103,C4)

to

=SMALL($G$4:$G$203,C4)

This makes it look at the new values you dragged down a moment ago. Then drag this cell down to the orange line.

The rest of the sheet should now update to show the 132ish workers.

I'm working on an all-singing all-dancing Excel file, but am after someone who can test it for me to see if my data transfer method works. If you want to help - PM me

Below is a screenshot pic:

http://i1107.photobucket.com/albums/h398/xpsuk/Excel_zpsyxuu3ulh.jpg

If you like, I'll test this with you. I made this spreadsheet for myself and as such, didn't attach any bells and wistles that I didn't feel I needed. I like your addition of adding the storyline, belts and power 500 rankings. You also display things more User Friendly (UI is something I really don't specialise in).

So I feel that maybe your version would be better suited for the average user. So feel free to send it over for me to look at and test.

 8. Feel free to send me your excel files so I can have a look to see what the issue is - as I will need more information than what you've both provided.
 9. I can tell you the process of how I made each one, but not until Monday as I am currently out of the country. Additionally, there is a format option where you can reveal each and every formula in the sheet so you can see the exact formula for yourself, though I cannot exactly remember where that is in excel.
 10.
Have you deleted all the cells in the contracts and workers tab completely?

Failing that, in post 13 is an empty version, which worked for someone else who had this issue. Something about different version of excel incompatibilities.

For that level of information change, it would be worth the effort of unpicking the save file.

It's why Adam doesn't suggest you edit this file like this.

2) the tabs in the save game database are different to what we are given in the Exported database (it's why it takes so long to export when you've gone through a few game years - as its hacking together a whole new database, not simply making an exact replica of the current database). I believe a workers Id and name are on one tab, their skills are in another, and their popularity are in a third ( it's been a while since I looked at it). In Tew 2013 I had to import about 6 tables, instead of just the two of Contracts and Workers, in order to get the same information.

Needless to say, my codes and things from this file only work with exported databases, and will likely fail if it gets data from the main database.

I believe this is only for saved games is that correct?

You want to edit the database in excel?

no, I don't think you can. Even if you import your save game database (as opposed to the export database whichever is just a redundant snapshot if your database), you can't export the table back to access - without copy and pasting the same tables back in (by which time, you may as well just edit the database direct).

It's not really advised though, and the in game editor exists as a safe way to do this anyway. It's a bit like hacking a save file for zoo tycoon that already has a money cheat built in.

I was hoping it would automatically update the stats of my workers.

Yeah, I can feel your pain if you're doing all those conversions. I've tried to make it be updatable with as few as steps as possible given the system we have.

There is only one way to make it more automatic, and that is the system I used for Tew2013 where I extracted data right out of the password protected database file. That is persistent so all the fields in my old excel file are updated with every save and refresh. The issue with this, is that you have to close Excel to sever the connection between Excel and That spdatabase, otherwise TEW wouldn't save as the database is considered in use. I had to collected about six tabs worth of data to get what the exported ones do in two tabs, so it was a lot of work (and means that making the tew2016 one for extracted databases quite quick...

Still got no idea why it sometimes bugs out in _code2 on a refresh
