  1. Huh? If you go to the screen in question (which if you didn't know, is accessed through the Child Companies button, then "Change CEO/Booker"), then it includes everyone. Or at least everyone who's hireable, but definitely not only people you've already hired. And like I said, it automatically filters for "has booking/business skill"", and then puts that stat up to the top. So there's only a few dozen to filter through, and you can just use the arrow keys.
  2. What does 1 Stamina even look like in-game? I've seen someone with low Stamina but still 25+ start to struggle with 8 minute matches. Could he handle 2 minutes? Or a 5 minute tag match with limited involvement?
  3. Curious about why your pop's so high in Tri State. I assume that was one of the places you were touring, but you wouldn't really expect it to be a lot higher than somewhere like Mid Atlantic, much less on par with your home region.
  4. I feel like you could turn this into a gimmick in a comedy-based company. The title is basically cursed, and every single time there's a match to crown a new champ, there's a no contest, or a double knockout, or a DQ or countout, and months go by and Vacant becomes the greatest champion ever.
  5. Psychology and Experience are equally important, with Respect slightly modifying it. That's per the handbook.
  6. I recently lucked into good chemistry with the first announcers I hired in a game I'm playing, and I've played a few shows with them. As far as I can tell, unlike other types of chemistry, announcers don't get the bonus every time. There doesn't seem to be any particular pattern, it's just a random chance. I'm not sure if "good" vs "great" chemistry makes it trigger more often or just boosts the bonus you get when it does trigger.
  7. I haven't tested it in game, but I just thought I'd point out that, per the description given in the editor, any starting injury will stop them from being able to wrestle until it heals, regardless of the normal settings for that injury.
  8. This post actually inspired me to check it for myself. You can check out the various thresholds here.
  9. I wasn't able to find anything about this with a quick search, so I decided to test and compile it for myself. "Fans expect important matches to be quite lengthy" An important match is one that contains at least one Star or Major Star. 9 or less: "The match was far too short for an important match in the eyes of our audience." 10-14: "The match was too short for an important match in the eyes of our audience." 15-19: "The match was a little too short for an important match in the eyes of our audience." 20 or more: No note. "Lengthy matches will tend to lose the audience" "Fans expect matches to be short and will get bored if they go too long" "Fans tend to have a short attention span, so longer matches will not do well" As far as I can tell, these are all the same. It's possible the actual effects are different, but the thresholds are the same. 15 or less: No note. 16-20: "The match was a little too long given our audience." 21-25: "The match was too long given our audience." 26 or more: "The match was far too long given our audience." "Longer matches will not do well in this environment" 25 or less: No note. 26-30: "The match was a little too long given our audience." 31-39: "The match was too long given our audience." 40 or more: "The match was far too long given our audience."
  10. Fun fact: You can actually get dinged for over-using workers even if they're Stars or Major Stars if you use them a truly ridiculous amount. As I just learned booking an entire two-hour show using only four people.
  11. Inspired by a comment I made on another thread, I'm going to try to do a single-company RTG based around just spamming angles to get good show grades. I'm going to have one, maybe two matches per show, then I might put a couple in the pre- or post-show just to train the UC. Here are the stats I went with: I'm using a version of C-Verse 2020 with a few mods and my own edits, but nothing that should imbalance the game at all. I went with Lighthearted Entertainment, no face/heel divide. My talents are 4 in everything and then 10 in Creativity because I just love having good gimmicks and gimmick bonuses, and none of the others will be all that useful.
  12. Since your angles are a lot better than your matches, it might make sense to switch to a more angle-heavy product. If you still use DSPW's default Campy Fun product, then Lighthearted Entertainment is one that's easy to switch to and gives a ridiculous amount of room for angles. It might even give better matches assuming you don't have too many popular guys so far.
  13. If I can put my pedant hat on for a second, there actually is one single dynasty for 2020 that has more than 40 pages. No Ordinary Men, by Historian, is 68 pages long.
  14. Maybe, but I have a middle-of-the-road product in terms of match lengths. 10 minutes needed for world-class scores. Even if the caps are pretty strict, they should still be well above 20 for a 3-5 minute match.
  15. Follow-up to this question since something similar happened again. Is there some massive penalty associated with very short matches that isn't noted in the dirt sheet? I had thought they were just capped significantly, but several times I've seen <5 minute matches end up with ratings ~10 points lower than the individual performances.
  16. I don't know how hard it is (and I imagine it will vary a lot depending on how many points you put in Silver Tongue, but you can ask someone to change styles using Talk To Worker.
  17. I've seen people do that without getting any pushback from either mods or users, so you'd probably be fine.
  18. I just had something weird happen with a match rating. For some reason, the overall rating is much lower than either of the worker's performance, but I don't see any notes that would indicate why. They got a 28 and a 30, the final rating was a 13. It was a 5-minute match with the Dominate note, but I didn't get a dirt sheet note about it being a bad squash. The only listed penalty is inexperience. Any idea what's going on?
  19. Follow-up to this. I'm trying to think of who might be able to oppose group #2. Who in the CVerse do you think could pull off a "paladin" or "monster hunter" type gimmick? Either solo or as the head of a faction?
  20. There's a "Child Companies" button on the main page. Same place you do stuff like change their booker or product settings. There's a button that says "Close Down".
  21. I actually already have Raphael under a somewhat different gimmick, but they could definitely intersect at some point. I'll check out the other two.
  22. How much of an issue is crowd burnout with four hours of wrestling? I want to do block taping for cost reasons, but when I tried half-hour shows, it was just nowhere near enough time to work with, so I was going to go with one hour instead. Is four hours manageable in people's experience?
  23. I had thought this was already the case until I actually tested it. If someone is giving a promo hyping themselves up, and their manage is standing around looking pretty, that shouldn't be considered a primarily sex-appeal-based angle.
  24. Trying to think of who might fit well in some stables I'm starting to make. This is a small-ish custom company in the C-Verse, located in the US. Faction 1: A corporate/"rich dudes" type faction. So far, the leader is Nelson Callum, Ash Campbell is the second in command (because he has tag team experience), and Jack Pryde is the "chosen one"/"next generation" type. Faction 2: A dark magical cult stable. Led by (who else?) Aldous Blackfriar, with Babau and Moroi as lackeys mainly because I found really cool renders for them a while back.
