I would be interested in doing a Dispora:USA, I have a few questions though. Do you have the logo and banner for Dispoada:USA, do you run a touring schedule, and what do you start the popularity at? I'm a fan of touring schedules but I'm not sure if that is too unamerican, and I'm not familiar with Dragon Gate USA.</p>

THANK YOU so much guys for allowing me to make a mod like this and all the work that you guys do. I'll continue to work on these pictures and I'll try to complete them.</p><p> </p><p>

    Parameters:</p><p>

  6. I need advice on another thing about the ThunderVerse, thanks for the help guys!

I like creating my own promotions and I was planning to have Drake Richards be my avatar, come out of hiatus (getting rid of the "filming a movie note") and start his own company. The fact that Drake Richards is coming back to wrestling, has allowed the company to gain a lot of promotion and popularity that other new companies don't get. The company has also gained a lot of promotion and popularity that other new companies don't get because Drake Richards has used his Hollywood friends to promote the new wrestling company along with agreeing to do a sucky and low budget movie in order to get the A Star Hollywood Direction and B+ Hollywood actor who are a part of the movie to also promote his new wrestling company.

So the company has gained a lot of popularity without doing a show because of these factors. I wanted some advice on where you guys think the company should be ranked in popularity in the ThunderVerse when the company opens. I was thinking somewhere around 15th. Does that seem realistic?

  7. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Ric Flair is so old, his insurance company only sends him half a calendar.<p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Paul E Dangerously's so ugly, when he opens the door on Halloween, kids hand him candy.<p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>When Sting was a kid, his parents gave him a radio and a toaster for bath toys.<p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Hey kids, it's your old pal, The Stinger. It's winter time again, while that may mean great times playing in the snow, always be careful around frozen ponds, lakes, or rivers. They may not be as sturdy as they look. If one of your friends does fall in, don't go on the ice, that'll just make it worse. Find a branch or something to help pull them to safety. Remember kids, be careful around frozen bodies of water, you might just be skating on thin ice.<p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> These are so hilarious!!!</p>
  8. I don't like how the Cornellverse has its title histories. I understand why they do it, and that is to save time, but it is no realistic enough for me. The companies are around for 20-30 years and you end up with every single champion having at least a 4 month title reign, and probably 1 3 month title reign in the span of 20-30 years. That is not realistic at all. I understand that some companies will have long title reigns in the company but for 20-30 years and have it be guaranteed that each champion will win their first 4 title defenses is not realistic.

When I run a wrestling company the championships are beyond important. When someone wins a championship and holds it for a long time it is just as important as when a sports team wins a championship of their own. That is important I wish championships were in wrestling. My companies always have that.

So because I didn't like the Cornellverse PGHW title history I decided to create my own. I'm going to post it in this thread in case anyone wants to add it to their PGHW game.

These title reigns where based off of real life for realism. The length of reigns, the amount of title changes, the amount of guys to win the title etc were all based off of real life for the most realistic title history.

    Few things to note:

    1. Non-touring Months

    1996-2001: February, August

    2002-: February, June, October

    2. TV deal for weekly show started on Wednesday and then later went to Thursday.

    3. When the company is touring they run a "minor event" the 3rd to last Saturday of the month followed by another "minor event" the 2nd to last Saturday of the month followed by the main, big show the last Saturday of the month.

    4. The only titles that ever existed were the PGHW Glory Crown, PGHW Glory Tag, PGHW Histoical Japan.

    5. The only tournaments that ever existed were the PGHW Elite and PGHW Elite Tag.

    6. The PGHW Elite Tag is also for the PGHW Glory Tag Crown, and the PGHW Elite is also for the PGHW Glory Crown.

    7. Just like TEW there are no records for "vacant". If a title has to be vacant then you will see a gap in dates between when a champion loses a belt and when someone wins a belt. I would rather list the word vacant but TEW doesn't record it in their title history if you are to a vacant a title so I decided to not do it in mine.

    8. There are a lot of times when a title becomes vacant. PGHW is known for its injury history more so then any other company especially between 2007-2009.

    9. The alumni section for PGHW is severely lacking. It was impossible to create these title histories with the current alumni section as there was not enough people to hold the title. There are a few times when I added guys to the title history that didn't wrestler for PGHW at the time or guys that aren't in the Cornellverse. I didn't have a choice in order to do these title histories.

    10. Sorry about the tab problems with the title histories. I copied and pasted them from MS Word and they got kind of mixed up.

I also don't like the end of the year awards lol I'm picky. I feel like there is too much parody in them and I don't feel they are realistic enough so I redid them too. This is especially true for the tag team of the year awards. I only did a few of the awards though and left the rest blank.

I couldn't believe the amount of companies! </p><p> </p><p> I haven't been able to get into the Thunderverse because I haven't been able to find a promotion I can really sink my teeth into. I prefer running puro type promotions like a New Japan or ROH and I'm not a big fan of soap opera promotions like WWE. Does anyone have any suggestions?</p>
  10. I'm new to the Thunderverse so I was wondering if someone could help me out. I wanted to start a puro company with heavy eye candy and heavy hardcore in it. I was wondering what area in the game has the most talent so I could start the company in that area. It seems to me that Japan and the USA have the most talent but I wanted to ask some more experienced members of the Thunderverse their opinions on this.

When I start the game it says that new workers will be generated in February/2005, what level would you recommend for new workers generating? I was thinking of putting it at Medium.</p>

I'll play a few shows and then start over when the update comes out. If you are looking for information on workers Extreme Warfare Revenge I believe has some pretty detailed mods.</p><p> </p><p> So how would I import wrestlers? Would you have to make a list of new workers added to a mod and then I would have to import then from the mod worker tab? I can't figure another way of doing it.</p><p> </p><p> Anyway thanks for doing this, this is awesome. This the first mod from the 2003-probably 2012 period.</p>
  13. <p>Really cool to have a mod from 2005. Thanks for making this it is a big addition to the community IMO.</p><p> </p><p> I want to make PWG into a super indie by having a show every 3 weeks and eventually (maybe) get up to current day, are there enough wrestlers that debut for me to do this or should I have regens on? So if you update the workers in the game I could import those workers into a saved game?</p>
  14. I didn't think I would time for this because of school, but I found time. I got the list down to a smaller amount. I won't have enough time for a long time now because of school. January at the earliest, and I don't expect to be ready by then.

  15. Just a quick one, because I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with this save for very long. I just snatched the props from a Jack Bruce alt I made. ProTip: Drunk alting is fun. :D Any insecurity you might feel over your work just flies right out the window.

There are a few re-renders. One of them should suit you, because they're all great.

    LoNdOn

    J Silver

    ewanite

    shipshirt

(Sorry to the render artist(s) if I missed any.)

I strongly recommend going through every re-render thread (links: [1] [2] [3]) in its entirety and updating your picture folder to your liking, because it makes the game so much better IMO. Even people you'll never actually use, you'll see them pop up in news stories here and there, so it's well worth updating their pictures if possible.

There are some good alts for KC too, by the way, and I'm not just saying that because some of them are mine. :p I don't feel like linking them all individually, but do a search for 'Glenn' ('Search This Thread' toward the upper right corner of the page) in this thread and this thread and you'll find them all.

Yes the game is way more enjoyable. When my mod comes out all you will have to do is copy and paste the CornellVerse alive people folder over your current one.

It will be key if you play with companies that are almost all generic alts because they will all be replaced with non-generic alts and the company will feel much more alive.

I made it so difficult for something so simple lol. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> I don't mean any disrespect to the GREAT CornellVerse database but I decided to do this mod because a lot of the graphics in the game from ACPW, BCG, 4C, DIW, EXODUS 2010, EMLL, GSW, IPW, MAW, RAW, VWA, ZEN and a few from CGC, CZCW, PWS, and SNP, and some unemployed workers all look close to the same and that they don't have the authentic feel that the other alts do for the other companies.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> The amazing thing about the Grey Dog Software forum is that users post alts that are the same if not better quality then the ones that are in the game, and adding these alts to the companies listed above makes the Cornellverse pictures feel more alive and better in overall quality.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Now a problem I noticed is that people like to make alts for top workers and not as much for the middle-tier and lower-tier workers which are the workers that usually are more of the generic type looking.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> So I followed a form when going through the alts. </p><p> </p><p> #1. Do I like the default alt in the default Cornellverse at almost the same level to a higher level then the user created alt from the Grey Dog Software forum?</p><p> </p><p> If #1 is false then the user created alt replaces the alt from the default CornellVerse.</p><p> </p><p> If #1 is true and if the alt picture could look like another worker then the user created alt replaces an alt from one of the companies listed above which has a more generic looking picture. Wrestler's hair and facial expression might look different but I make sure the picture still fits the gimmick, muscle type, face type etc. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> The majority of the pictures in CornellVerse Alive replace the generic alts in the default CornellVerse. Most of the generic default alts in the CornellVerse will be replaced(gone as the main alt) with the CornellVerse Alive mod.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> There will be about 720 alts that replace the main alts that are in the game. This includes worker that have yet to debut. About 31% of the workers in the game will have new pictures. There are also 318 alts that can be used are secondary alts. These aren't the main alts that you will see when you open the game up, but you can change them to the main alt if you want.</p><p> </p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I didn't have to make any requests for changes before, but I ran out of alt pictures for workers who had ref shirts on who already had the default CornellVerse background, for masked hispanic workers who already had the default CornellVerse background, and for hispanic workers in general who has the default CornellVerse background.</p><p> </p><p> I needed these changes to these workers for some people that I couldn't find alts for. </p><p> </p><p> I'm gonna try to work on some of the alts, and I'll let you guys know how it goes.</p>
