1. Getting close to the end of January in my 2004 WWE game. After some insightful tips from Lesnar and Heyman to strap a rocket to Cena (gee, I wonder why?), I'm going to follow the storylines as close as possible when I reach WrestleMania, then start going balls out in changes from there. I did re-instate the WCW Television Championship as the WWE Television Championship, functioning as an inter-brand title for young guys to be defended on Heat and Velocity. Essentially, it's WWE's answer to the X-Division title. First champ is going to be determined via tournament, the final two meeting face to face at the Heat pre-show for WM20.

They need to be American (though race doesn't matter), decently talented (or at least can be developed), moderately athletic, and available in the mid-2001 to 2003 range. A lot of available talent who are certain to be stars don't really need help being introduced (CM Punk, Samoa Joe, and the like). I considered using James Storm in this way (also on the WCW roster at the end) but I think his cowboy gimmick could have legs on its own. Bryan Danielson is also a maybe as, again, he can stand on his own. So suggestions on who I can use along with Harris?

London and Kendrick are a good choice for your first run, since they can help lift Harris' technical skills and he, in turn, can lift their brawling skills. Plus after the break-up you'll have an incredibly solid tag team to build the division around (and put in the Hall of Fame, because good lord do they deserve it).

Ken Anderson would be another worthy charge for The Patriot, if only to have him be a real merciless glory hound. If you've ever read the Daredevil or Captain America comics, there's this villain named Nuke who's a real brutal piece of work, often doing unspeakable things in the name of "American Exceptionalism". Have Anderson be the Nuke to Patriot's Captain America, beating down opponents long after the match has ended, going overboard in celebrations, that whole thing.

Obviously, WCW being a Georgia-based company, you'll need some southern flavor too . Trevor Rhodes has some pretty lacking athleticism, but he's really young so that can go up with experience. Altar Boy Luke (aka Luke Hawx) is another good choice, he's got well-rounded stats out the gate, is NINETEEN at the start, and has some passable performance skills, and I'm totally not recommending him because we share a home state... *cough*. Anyway, hiring southern workers also gives you the opportunity for them to wear Dixie Flag masks, if only because that's incredibly fitting for the type of show WCW was by 2001.

Other than that, you've got a motley crew of prospects, from Matt Sydal to Matt Striker, Luther Reigns to Tyson Tomko, to choose from. Those were just the ones I can think of that would be nice additions to the stable.
