  1. The biggest issue that I had was roster management. SWF have got a fair amount of younger talent that I'd like to push anyway and I've also failed to resist raiding TCW for a few of their top guys. I think it also opens up a lot of interesting booking possibilities. The only two downsides there are is that is slows down the amount of time that it takes to advance, and that it's challenging building two separate tag divisions - but that's a welcome challenge.
  2. <p>Implemented a brand split in time for Elite to run head to head with USPW on Wednesday evenings from the first week of January 2017. Underestimated how much effort booking double the storylines would be but after taking a few weeks out to recharge my booking head I think I'm ready to dive back in.</p><p> </p><p> Joey Morgan is my first ever SWF Elite Champion, having won the belt on the same night as he lost the North American Championship after a fourteen month reign (and a heel turn). Will likely be going with Brandon James/Jack Bruce as the main title feud going into The Supreme Challenge though, with Valiant defeating Remo for the World Heavyweight Championship after a year long pursuit.</p>
  3. Managed to nab Jay Chord just in time for my first Supreme Challenge. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  4. If I have a brand split and a women's division and put all of the females on one brand, will that work as I want it to or would the game expect the other show to also feature women's matches?
  5. Two months away from The Supreme Challenge and want my complete card sorted before I start to book the June PPV. How many matches do you guys tend to put on the four hour show? I'm not sure if twelve is too many.
  6. <p>Didn't think about the Emma Chase thing, but otherwise I'd definitely snap him up.</p><p> </p><p> If you're at 100% I'd think it's worth it.</p>

Great idea.</p>

I make it a cross between the Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank, with the winner getting a guaranteed title shot sometime in the next year. It helps that it's the PPV after the Supreme Challenge, so you get to immediately set up next year's big storyline.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yeah, I'm planning on moving that PPV to May to decide the challenger for TSC. I just prefer it as a way of setting up the biggest match of the year as anybody can realistically win a lottery based battle royal, and I like having that luxury when it comes to setting up that main event. I'm just not sure which match I want main eventing to ensure the best ratings and was wondering if anybody had experimented yet.</p><p> </p><p> I'm going to replace the August PPV with a bracketed tournament named after Christian Faith, and use that more as a launching pad for a particular talent to start competing for the SWF Championship over the coming year.</p>
  9. <p>Has anybody run a Royal Rumble style match yet?</p><p> </p><p> I'm doing it in May to decide the Supreme Challenger, and giving Mikey Lau (upper midcard) a title shot at the same event to hopefully give him a handsome pop boost against the 86 rated Remo. I'm just not sure which order to run the two matches in, bearing in mind the title match should get a good but probably not fantastic rating.</p>
  10. What is not awesome is losing Jimmy Hernandez for a year to a major concussion. I was so excited for him. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I read in the TCW thread that Joey Minnesota had left for the SWF. I read Eisen-Verse's SWF diary and saw no mention of him. Could someone tell me where he has gone?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> He's in SWF under the name Joey Morgan, and starts as SWF North American Champion.</p><p> </p><p> And he's awesome.</p>
  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="moafnsteel" data-cite="moafnsteel" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41303" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I paired Captain Atomic and The Crippler as there is sweet Demolition styles ALTS for both the Crippler and Captain Atomic (as well as Jungle Lord) in the alt thread of the MOD section.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I think I'm going to give that spot to Robbie Retro now - a decent talent who's just had nothing going for him since my game started up. I'll use house shows to test out some chemistry pairings before running with the storyline though.</p>
  13. Just had my first major injury; Jungle Lord is out for a year after herniating a spinal disc, and subsequent surgery going wrong. Was planning on turning him heel and pairing him with The Crippler as my number one heel team, with The Awesomeness going babyface. Not sure now if I'll stick with that plan with somebody else in his spot or completely alter it.
  14. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="RingRider" data-cite="RingRider" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41303" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>How's everyone done with Jimmy Hernandez and Steven Parker? I've been having hard time building those guys up... preferring instead to focus on Mikey Lau and Marshal Dillon (Dillon is a NBT in my game) as faces and Hollywood Brett Starr and Spencer Spade as my up-and-coming heels. <p> </p><p> Unfortunately this has left Hernandez and Parker (and the Platinum Blondes) out in the cold as there's just not enough wins to go around...</p><p> </p><p> These two guys might be the main reason I am considering a Brand Split.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm doing the same regarding Lau and Dillon... Lau is at upper midcard at the end of February, getting good ratings, and I feel like I could pull the trigger on him at any point to get him into the main event. Dillon is a bit more difficult because he doesn't pull the same ratings.</p><p> </p><p> I've paired Steven Parker with Nelson Callum as essentially a jobber tag team until I've got a spot to push one or both of them into, and I'm doing a storyline between Jimmy Hernandez and Bret Starr which will end with Hernandez turning and those two becoming one of my top heel tag teams after The Awesomeness turn babyface.</p>
  15. <p>Nelson Callum and Steven Parker.</p><p> </p><p> Just a couple of babyface blue chippers that I might try to push in the future but have nothing for right now, so they're teaming. No idea how to bill them.</p>
