0. Gates Of Agony (Kaun & Toa Liona) (w/Tully Blanchard) vs. Brock Anderson & Lee Johnson

Kaun and Toa are some scary looking dudes, so this is going to be a tough challenge for Tony's young boys. Brock and Lee will need some more reps before they can slay the beasts.

 

0. The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle) vs. Jessica Troy & Skye Blue

I've never heard of Jessica Troy before and Sky Blue is a young woman who, like Brock Anderson and Lee Johnson, is far from a finished product. Looking good for the veterans here.

 

MAIN SHOW

 

1. Four Corner Survival: Dante Leon vs. Ninja Mack vs. Blake Christian vs. Alex Zayne

Right now Blake Christian is probably the best of the four, but he doesn't need to be pinned. I'm just going to guess Dante Leon, because I like him the most.

 

2. World Famous CB (w/Eli Isom) vs. Brian Cage (w/Tully Blanchard)

Tony's going to have blood on his hands for this.

 

3. Bear Country (Bear Boulder & Bear Bronson) vs. Rhett Titus & Dalton Castle

Now this could go either way, but I have no use for Rhett Titus and I really like Bear Country. Sorry, Dalton (Castle).

 

4. Pure Rules: Josh Woods vs. Rust Taylor

Another one I'm on the fence about. My gut feeling favors Woods.

 

5. Willow Nightingale & Trish Adora vs. AQA & Mercedes Martinez

This comes down to what you have in mind for Mercedes Martinez before the undisputed title match. She obviously shouldn't lose here, but there might be time for another warm-up match against one of the other women. Gut feeling once again.

 

6. Dak Draper & Brian Johnson vs. The WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry & JD Drake)

As much as I love the pairing of Dak Draper and Brian Johnson, I just don't see them winning here.

 

7. ROH Pure Championship: Wheeler Yuta vs. Daniel Garcia

This could easily be the best match of the night. I'm sensing a title defense.

 

8. Lee Moriarty, Samoa Joe & Jonathan Gresham vs. Tracy Williams, Tony Deppen & Jay Lethal (w/Sonjay Dutt)

Hard to tip against this babyface team, but you could establish a challenger for Gresham's title right away with an upset. Knowing one or two things about your booking style, this might be exactly what you plan to do, so I'm going with the bad guys here.

It's going to be very interesting how you're approaching this. It might seem like Ring Of Honor has always been about 50 Timothy Thatchers fighting each other, but it was obviously not. ROH was a pretty wild company back in the day with No Ropes Barbed Wire matches, Cage Of Death, bloody Fights Without Honor or oddball characters like Dan Maff, MASADA or Abyss. Everyone somehow fit in. This might not be Tony's vision, but ROH was so much more than just technical wrestling.
