  1. Hi In the same vein as being able to make knockout and round robin tournaments. It would be interesting if, in future editions of this game, we could have a ladder format, purely on the basis that it would mean not having to open excel! Basically - The user should be able to select the competitors who would be on the ladder (singles or teams), order of selection being their initial positions - A parameter that allows a competitor to challenge X places above them (if the lower competitor wins, they take the losers position on the ladder) - Parameter denoting X places that a competitor falls if they lose their match. - Optional duration for the length of the ladder to represent seasons (or ongoing). That's it really. Fixtures would play out as they do for other tournament types otherwise.
  2. Yeah, download link doesnt work, just cycles through a postback loop on mediafire
  3. I'm on a 3950x atm, game simulates slower than 2016 did on a 6700k, but it's not as though its a massive wait time between turns considering this title can run on a potato. It's almost certainly not using more than 1 core, for example.
  4. It worked out after a couple of years in 2016, as the cream naturally rises to the top. 2020's autobooker doesnt seem as competent but only have 3 months to play with.
  5. I smash the autobooker button a few times and get annoyed when it fails to fill in the full show, then i add a bunch of random angles. done
  6. The new screenshots look good, however 1 thing is triggering the OCD I didn't know I had, and it might be a bit picky, but: The varying font size on the office buttons is annoying
  7. usually do grand avatar or jack avatar. Slightly tempted to start a promotion filled with the avatars this game as there a fair number of them. At the least they will be getting a faction in my game, as I like to keep them in.
  8. took me ages to work this out as well. i clicked their role "wrestler" in their bio screen on the roster, and it let me assign a manager from there.
  9. download the demos for those titles? http://greydogsoftware.com/demos/
  10. I was hoping for a few more female wrestlers you could bring into the UK to run a women's division with. As it is, there are the 3 newcomers, propped up by a small group of of ageing workers (Geena Warrior Princess is 41, Viper McKenna 40, Zofia Jankovic 38). The previous carry Shiori Jippensha is now exclusively in Japan with a pair of cool new sunglasses and therefore no longer available. Would have been useful if one or two of the TEW2016 SNP cheeleader valets had been converted into in ring participants as the UK talent pool feels manager heavy to me. The situation isn't really any different elsewhere either. For example, the USA game world splash screen mentions how women's wrestling is on the rise, but this isn't actually reflected in the game world, with AAA closing and nothing being put in place to replace it? Another observation I have on this editions game world. There's basically everything you need to start a small promotion in India, except for a referee, which seems like a bit of an odd oversight???
  11. This isn't criticism, just a wishlist from me for future entries in the series of things that I think would either add to the user experience or increase game depth for the player. - Move tech base to something more recent. I realise that's a very painful thing to do. If it were me, I would go WPF and sqlite or a local mssql database, but there are lots of options. - Share screens during the development cycle. You don't have a team as far as I gather, so to plug that gap the best thing to do is involve the user base in a limited way in regards to the UI/UX design. It will go some way to reducing negative feedback on a released product. - Some kind of story template module that users can pick storylines and adjust/fill them in as the game progresses rather than strictly having to come up with their own. - A training module so that you can push your workers, particularly those on written contracts, in a more specific direction of development. purchase and invest in equipment for your roster to make use of etc. - A switch up of for belt designs. Rather than single images, have them composed of multiple png image layers. A strap, sideplates, faceplate, lettering. The last layer would be a tricky prospect as there would need to be a function where the user could offset this layer vertically to fit belt designs.
  12. Really like it! One thing I would change though is have a map in the popularity box that is colour coded by area rather than an exact number
  13. To be fair, Steam do time lock game releases. For people in the UK a lot of games unlock at 5 or 6pm on release day.
  14. When playing 2016, didnt really feel like the game world was big enough, so I merged this and some other quite large universe with the cornell verse and played that. Was a little bit top heavy, but ultimately quite fun with all the different promotions etc (though had to rename quite a few characters to get them to go in, and ultimately lost some other data around belt holders which I suppose I could have adjusted manually, couldn't be bothered though). Hopefully theres a 2020 version of this verse so that I can create a mega game for myself again!
  15. Is there a way to dissolve a child company that you no longer require (or merge them together?), or even just kill one off one in the editor?. I ended up with 2 companies in the same nation after buying one out, and there's no sense having them compete with each other. Was hoping to keep the newer company that I purchased as they had a logo etc ¬_¬
