  1. So I asked Fleisch's permission and he said yes so I'm going to put together a GIF-style pack for his database. Going to take a little while to modify the database & make some of the logos but look for Fleisch hopefully posting that soon when I send it to him. After I've done that I'm probably gonna try and throw together a pack of generic logos for stables based on the stable names in the default database!

Sounds sick! Very much looking forward to it.

  2. Thanks mate! I won't lie I literally wrote a batch editing thing for worker pics solely for playing your 92 mod with this style of picture.

Hey, is there any way you could upload your people folder for the 92 save? I don't have photoshop so I can't batch edit it myself and I'd love to be able to have .gif photos in my save too!

  3. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Stennick" data-cite="Stennick" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47560" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>94 is a Hive mod I thought Hive wasn't going to be putting out any mods for TEW20 but maybe I'm mis remembering I certainly don't want to speak for him I just could have sworn I saw that mentioned by him. Hopefully though that was the mod I was most looking forward to honestly.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You are correct, Hive is not making any mods for 2020. Sad because I really enjoyed his 95 mod but I 1000% get why he doesn't want to.</p>
  4. It's really there for 'realism' sake. If you look NJPW has a similar show. I knew the AI was never going to be able to full pull it off, so I ended up making it 2 shows. 1 that WCW puts on and another that NJPW does. So, really you could just drop it or just run a WCW show in Japan. I'll take a look at Japanese popularities in WCW and see if there are any I can boost to allow more trades with New Japan.

Personally, I think you could up Flair and Sting's popularity in Japan, as they main evented those super shows at the time. Also, I noticed that NJPW is not willing to send workers to WCW on excursion, which I believe should be in place, even if it didn't really start until later in the 90s. In the mod it's set to UWA, which is fine, but if you're not going to have an existing relationship with WCW at the start where they can also receive people on excursion they won't make deals to send workers anywhere else.

Mod is looking good though, glad you're converting it over to 2020.

    A couple of things:</p><p> </p><p>

This is from 2001- mid 2006, using Genadi's 01 mod. Longest save I've had and all of these matches have some sort of story behind them, which I'm really proud of. If you want any more details about a certain match or w/e just quote it, I didn't wanna write a paragraph for every match because I'm lazy, lol.</p><p> </p><p>

My top 10 isn't really about match rating. As you can see I have an 100 on my bonus match list, because I value importance too. There were some 100s that I didn't feel really need to be on this list because they were on road to shows, or were filler matches in a G1 or something. I tried to put the 10 that mattered the most in the history of the company in this era, used the bonus matches to put some on there that I personally like (but were still really good matches).</p><p> </p><p>

Also, my top 10 isn't in any sort of order. Just put them on the list as I found them in the game.</p>

  6. He has done 9 month stints in WWE since 2011 so not sure what the problem is?

The problem is is that Jericho, like many, aren't "true" freelancers, so the tag doesn't really fit. Also, just from a play-ability standpoint, it just would not be fun for him to not be signed to a long term PPA or a written.

  7. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Liger!Liger!" data-cite="Liger!Liger!" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41174" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> </p><p> After Chono's stable is formed(I'm accepting name suggestions by the way), </p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> For my Chono stable, I went with Chono Trigger, cause it sounds cool and it's a reference (that based on where your game is may not be release as a game yet, lol).</p>
  8. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Fleisch" data-cite="Fleisch" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41205" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>So many people with so many conflicting opinions on NJPW. One release it'll be "they should tour month a", next its "oh no they should tour month b". I'll take a look later on regarding the changes but this will be the last time I update NJPWs tour months so everyone get on the same page. Thanks for the feedback.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Didn't know that there was so many conflicting opinions on the matter. Also this is completely opinion but I'm seeing Juice getting really low in-ring ratings, which I personally disagree with. Maybe bumping up his brawling and basics would get those up? Honestly it's not a big deal, but with Juice's push maybe he'd get a little update.</p><p> </p><p> Also this is minute but the stables need to be updated a bit. Taguchi Japan is missing a couple of people (KUSHIDA and David Finlay Jr. were missing, IIRC) and for some reason Yoshitatsu is in there, when he should be in a Hunter Club tag team/stable with Billy Gunn.</p><p> </p><p> Mod is looking really good btw. I know we've had our disagreements in the past, but I appreciate the work you and Derek put into this.</p>
  9. <p>Just a thing going through and playing New Japan, they aren't set to tour during the month of July, which really messes things up when you want to do a legitimate G1 (starting in July, pushing into August for me). I know that they have to have a month where they don't tour, maybe November or December?</p><p> </p><p>

    Some other things I've noticed:</p><p>

Young Bucks aren't suited to their gimmick.</p><p>

Okada is not suited to his gimmick.</p><p>

Billy Gunn should be on a PPA</p>

  10. So I've been doing a 96 save for a while now. I'm now in July of 97. Here's a little thing on the happenings of the save with WCW/WWF.

    Synopsis:

I let Nash/Hall go like the did in real life. Would have liked to keep Hall but he had a drinking problem I didn't want to deal with at all.

The world title scene has been the same 3 guys for the most part but it's now beginning to diversify. After close to a year long feud between basically main event faces vs The New Hart Foundation, it finally ended with a poorly heated feud killed off a few months ago (dunno why it suddenly dropped, it was hovering at a B+ for the longest time). Owen basically went crazy and took out Bret for a month or so, being fired and coming back as the Blue Blazer (we'll encounter him later too. Bret/Owen/Austin have been in the main title scene for a while, but a surprise win on Raw hotshots Kane into main event status following his Taker feud ending, which may reignite the feud.

Oh yeah and I stole Sting from WCW and he's in this feud too. It's eventually gonna be a corporation vs others type of deal, where the Vince/Austin rivalry starts for my save.

IC title scene is rich with talent right now. It's basically being used to hotshot guys into upper mid/main event status, doing so with Mankind, Taka, and DDP (oh yeah, WCW didn't want DDP, so I was able to get him without a struggle.) On the note of DDP, is definitely not as good of a worker as he was in his prime, of course this is based in Jan of 96 so this makes some sense, but he never developed into the worker I wanted him to be. Consistent C's made me not really want to push him. Goldust has been my gatekeeper of the division, capable of getting A's on the mic and in the ring. He'll get a world title one day, I swear.

Also quick note on HBK: he was a part of the world title stuff for a while, but I personally had nothing for him until recently due to him not wanting to turn heel (I want DX, dammit), and he's now gonna feud with Rocky Maivia and the NOD, soon over the IC title, I think. I was somehow able to keep him after he asked for his release, and I'm glad to be using him again.

Other stuff is going on too right now. The slow rise of HHH is beginning to come about, as he's in a feud with Scott (and Rick too I guess) Steiner. I want to turn Scott into Big Poppa Pump, but the numbers don't lie, I just don't have many faces right now, so for now he stays a face. Regal just debuted and is in a storyline with Blue Blazer. Regal's gonna win this one at Summerslam and I'll probably put Blazer in a tag team.

Other titles: Tag team titles have been kinda there, not really been a focus for me. The most I've used them for is the push of Sudden Impact, mainly Jericho, and Lance has taken his rightful place back in my midcard (sorry dude, I can't do anything with you at the main event level.) Jericho is in a temporary team with Curt Hennig and they have the belts. I want to keep him heel to feud with the returning face Bret. Even when he was kicked out of the HF I kept him heel because I wanted this feud to happen (and possibly because I just don't want face Jericho like anytime before 2000). Also I used the titles to help out the pop of the Nation of Domination (D'Lo, Mark Henry, Rocky). So sad WCW stole Faarooq, he's one of my boys and I was gonna push him hard like I did in one of my old saves.

Lightweight title was introduced in Feb. of 1997. Taka was the first champ and I got it off of him to push Candido a bit. Not much else there.

Hardcore title was brought in with Shotgun Saturday Night. It's defended almost weekly there. Blackjack Bradshaw, Gangrel, Savio Vega, Finlay, and Rey Mysterio Jr. have been my champs.

Women's title was reintroduced recently too. My international size (which I was recently downsized from) let me sign some joshi women. My champs have been Chyna and Bull Nakano (sidenote, Chyna has horrible chemisty with HHH. I cry.)

Quick note on KOTR: Past 2 winners were The Ringmaster and Chris Jericho.

    Other news:

I have 3 shows right now. Raw, which is now 2 hours. I also went in and made Nitro 2 hours to compete. Raw went live on Mondays every week when I started, as I just liked that better. Superstars was cancelled right before Shotgun was introduced. Friday Night's Main Event is my main B show, which I've made live every friday night, and will continue until Smackdown becomes a thing, I'd assume.

WCW has one new show. A B show, WCW Destruction.

Bam Bam was WCW world champ. Let me repeat. BAM BAM WAS A WCW WORLD CHAMP. This game is great.

Anyway, that's it for me, for now. If you for whatever reason want to know anything else about what's happened so far feel free to ask.

New computer for me, just pulled down your latest DB. I jotted down a few notes on some of the standouts from the last year of Impact, as it seems like various developments haven't been included and the data was starting to look a little dated. Then the notes got too long so I've thrown them into a <a href="http://pastebin.com/eewy8Rix" rel="external nofollow">pastebin</a>. Thanks again for the mod, hope my notes help!</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> To reiterate what Fleisch said, thank you for taking the time to do all of this. Fleisch's mod is very solid but people like you who keep up with other companies' products instead of Fleisch having to try to keep up with all of them improve the mod greatly.</p>
