  1. Tremendous show...I love that you went with Ricky DeColt winning the main event. Sets up a really cool angle with all 3 main DeColts. Also in my game I ended up withdrawing my offers to Remo and Rocky and immediately dropping to Cult at the end of the month haha. I actually kind of glad because now I am picking my spots and grabbing what I think would fit for NOTBPW and I am sticky mostly with Canadian talent with a few others around the world sprinkled in. Again great show and can't say this enough this diary brought me back to TEW so thank you for that
  2. I know you had asked about my NOTBPW game I was gonna start up. I'm a month in and I've had a bit of a conundrum already...the first week of February both Remo and Rocky Golden's contracts have come up. Right now I have the top offer for both of them but I'm debating if I really want them or just stick with guys I have and pick and choose a little bit more than just grabbing every big star that comes up. I've said before that my games never last long because I always just sign every big name star and the game becomes to easy and I just get bored with the game so I think for the first time I might actually pass on arguably the top two stars of both their companies and roll with the guys I have.

  4. Can't say this enough but this diary has gotten me back into TEW. I'm finally gonna pull the trigger and start a NOTBPW game and hope it goes even remotely as well as yours. Great show again

  8. Just wanted to drop in and say how much I've enjoyed reading this. I love how you've made it a more sports entertainment company. I love NOTBPW and reading your stuff has made me want to get back into the game and start a new save. I always ruin saves I have by signing every big prospect and I get to the point where I overpush everyone instead of just taking time and letting them move along slowly. Great job and I can't wait to read more
  9. A quick question for anyone that is a bit more familiar with the company. I'm having a hard time getting even B rated matches. The product is the same I haven't made any changes. Are their any road agent notes that will help with matches?
  10. <p>I absolutely love this thread. I always eventually end up getting bored and give on games after a year sim but reading through this thread has made me change some things up. I decided to just build for the future and took some early losses in the game to hopefully become dominant later. I didn't sign Marat to win the national battle for I fell to cult and I buried some of older talent until they wanted to be released so I could put some young guys over.</p><p> </p><p> I also cancelled the pop tv deal and got the USA 1 tv deal. I'm 4 months in maybe 5 I don't have the game in front of me right now. When I get home from work I'll give further detail on what my roster kind of looks like right now but this has definitely breathed new life into this game for me.</p>
  11. I just started a new PGHW save file and I was wondering what everyone does with PGHW when the Tsunami hits. I'm not sure if I should trim the roster down to the minimum or just keep doing what I'm doing. As of right now I have two TV shows with a brand split roster that isn't split in the game because I didn't want to have such a big roster. I don't run tours anymore I just run the two tv shows a week and a PPV at the end of the month because show costs are becoming too much.
  12. <p>Hey everyone, so I just started a new game with PGHW. I got the itch to play with them after watching wrestle kingdom 11. I must say this is probably the most fun I've had playing this years TEW. I just finished up the month of March with the Elite Series Tournament coming to an end. My final 4 were Mushashibo, Ugaki, Garner and Kawashima. I had Kozue go over Mushashibo in the finals to win the Elite Series but didn't have the Glory Crown title on the line. I will eventually have Mushashibo drop the title to Kozue but he's putting on such good main event matches I wasn't really ready to pull the trigger yet.</p><p> </p><p> I had a 16 man tourney for the Elite Series. I had mainly PGHW roster guys in it but I brought in Duane Stone and Bryan Vessey due to my working agreement with NOTBPW and TCW. Right now I'm putting on better shows then BHOTWG consistently. I just wanted some input from you guys because I'm almost positive you are better at running PGHW then I am. I'm going to eventually put some stables together but I'm not positive when I'm going to start that. I was wondering if there is anyway I can sign people that have loyalty to another company. I assume not cause I've tried with no luck. BHOTWG have let some guys go recently but they are mostly the juicing burning division guys which doesn't really fit PGHWs style so I just let them go to WLW if they sign anywhere. </p><p> </p><p> I was also wondering how you set up a tour highlight show. Do you basically just run events and that is the tour highlight or can I simply just run the Kings Road TV show and that will be a part of the highlight show. Any suggestions on signings I should make would be greatly appreciated. I've only signed a few guys from the US cause I mainly wanted workers from Japan in the promotion. Would love to see any ideas from you guys if you have any. Thanks</p>
  13. I was wondering how you guys book shows. For some reason I can never get B+ matches or events for that matter. Is there anything I should tweak product wise and is there any way I should book certain cards like longer main events or any other agent notes

Every product, every company comes with its own sort of challenges. Now if you're indifferent to the challenge then I guess you can lower it but really, that's what makes different companies/products special, you have to adjust the way you play. It means you need the next pillars getting built up and trained so that they've got the quality to lift up your company with your late 30s/early 40s guys getting done.<p> </p><p> BTW, if you're worried about BHOTWG strain, just try PGHW <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Haha you know what you are right, the challenge is being able to build up new guys to keep up once the older guys get broken down. And I might start a PGHW run after I finish up my BHOTWG run. Thanks for responding to my question I appreciate it.</p>
  15. I was wondering if anyone made any product changes to ease up the strain the matches put on guys. I have a lot of guys that aren't even 40 yet getting dirt sheet penalties for physical decline so I've had a huge influx of new young talent and put some of the close to 40 lower/Midgard guys in my development to work with younger guys...just wondering if anyone has made tweaks so the matches aren't so demanding on the roster...thanks
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="NoNeck" data-cite="NoNeck" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41343" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Wanted to weigh in with a concept I'm trying out, using TCW as my initial try out the new '16 C-Verse company.<p> </p><p> Given that USPW is a juggernaut in waiting, that SWF still has the biggest name, and that Tommy Cornell is taking up residence on the other side of the globe, something drastic needs to be done to keep TCW on the level, let alone having any thoughts about nudging USPW out of the top spot.</p><p> </p><p> Enter the COTT.</p><p> </p><p> I don't know why the fit didn't occur to me before, when I was dredging around, trying to come up with diary concepts. TCW's product fits in with the bulk of what the indy companies are trying to do. Why not make TCW the flagship company of the COTT? TCW has TV and PPV coverage across the board where the small territories do not, by utilizing the talent trade option, TCW's roster is a lot more full than it is without the affiliation. </p><p> </p><p> I moved TCW's base of operations from California up the coast to Seattle, so as not to ruffle the feathers of CZCW, and I keep my shows to the other areas not occupied by the other members of the alliance. The spillover and TV/PPV keeps me going there in lieu of shows.</p><p> </p><p> I kept Total Wrestling, but dropped it to an hour long show, to keep the focus on the top guys in TCW. The Tuesday Night Wars are dead. I use the TCW Saturday Night Showcase as the COTT Weekly Showcase, where I book matches from all over the alliance while still keeping TCW a partial focus.</p><p> </p><p> Going well so far, seven months deep I've pushed past SWF and am still growing. I get to try out all of the indy darlings. There's no way USPW can snatch them all up. Fun idea, fun game save.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That's an incredibly cool idea. I'd love to see what else you do with it and what your shows and roster looks like at this point of your save.</p>
  17. <p>Love this thread as I take a lot of suggestions for my dynasty. I have signed a decent amount of the tag teams suggestions that you guys gave. I totally forgot about Remmy and Fox Mask I might have to pair them up. I have another question maybe you guys could help me with.</p><p> </p><p> I opened a Development for TCW but I don't really like how I can't get as much as the talent used on a show. I tried to make the show 4 hours that they run but it ends up being like 4 matches and that's it which seems weird for a 4 hour show. I was thinking about just doing a brand split and having the development guys have their own B show so its basically a development brand but they will have an actual TV show and I would just use the auto booker for the development brand. Do you guys think that's a good idea or no?</p>
