  1. Full disclosure I don't spend much time here, I haven't bought TEW2020, but it's nice to meet you too. I hope you continue to enjoy wrestling and good luck with the game.
  2. I'm glad to hear it! Welcome back! I've been watching them since day one and I also feel like I have wrestling back in my life the way I want it to be after years in the wilderness. Cody at one time discussed in an interview his ambition to try politics at some point.
  3. I'm running 1 or 2 shows a month as a small company. Do all main eventers need to be on every show to keep their morale up? When I left someone off a card he got pissed but I'd like some wiggle room to rotate people in and out a bit.
  4. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="gazdaman" data-cite="gazdaman" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="50764" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I want to start a sports entertainment fed in the cversr what's the best way of finding workers as I can't seem to find anyone over enough also are there any recommendations for workers</div></blockquote><p> As in real life, all the best / most over workers are already tied down somewhere. Why not try running one of the 2 big sports entertainment companies in America, SWF or USPW?</p><p> </p><p> SWF was the top company in the world for many years but has taken a step back, ceding the top spot to USPW.</p>
  5. I know there is more scroll support if we keep "Enable New-Style Coloured Lists" unchecked. Is there similar reason to keep "Enable Coloured Text" unchecked? I like the colored text for getting a rough impression of a worker's skills but I'm wondering if I'm losing anything with it on.
  6. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Self" data-cite="Self" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="50648" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I would have liked it if the old pushes were included as labels, perhaps in the Divisions dropdown. A lot of people find them useful for roster organisation. I don't even think they need to 'do' anything. If it helps people 'see' their roster, rock on.</div></blockquote><p> Honestly its just terminology that makes a great deal of sense to feature in the game. Its both insider terminology that makes sense in the game's context and also very familiar to wrestling fans so immediately understood.</p>
  7. Got you so things are set up for simming purposes. So something I noticed that confused me, The Enforcers having 25 tag experience when the team hadn't formed yet, is so that when the AI books WCW to try to get them to use the team. So a player may want to sort of look out for things to double-check and make sure they're accurate for the time so as to not be accidentally gamey and use tag experience that wasn't really there..a small mental adjustment I can make, just seeing if I understand how it works.
  8. Thanks so much! I think I'll look to have them do brawls with other teams so I can rate them on fighting and they can work with other teams who have better charisma. Hopefully Armstrong picks up at least a little something.
  9. <p>I hope this is what helping looks like. </p><p> </p><p> -Should Terri Runnels have the Runnels name?</p><p> -Looking at the Handbook, I'm not sure Clash of the Champions should have Intent set to Throwaway. Throwaway is for charity shows or other one-offs that can be outside of continuity and have no expectations, so the Clash should probably be Normal intent.</p><p> </p><p> I think you've done a great job with the mod because I love the way you did the stats, everything feels good. Thanks again for all the work.</p>
  10. Glad you got it, I should have been more clear in my response to you. Yes I think that's the crux of it. I want a manager cutting a decent promo to put over good ring workers with none of those skills you listed (Brad Armstrong and Tim Horner, The Lightning Express). I'm sure winning matches will help but thought I could supplement the pop (and momentum?) gains with manager promos. Rating on fighting does seem too gamey so maybe I'll do some testing. Thanks for the response.
  11. yeaaaaa that's the one mod I got around to on 2016, love that mod!
  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Malioc" data-cite="Malioc" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47811" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Can someone please tell me where I can release wrestlers?<p> </p><p> I want to cut a number of handshake employees, but can't see where.</p></div></blockquote><p> Click their name on the roster page. Where it says "Popularity" clicking either the left arrow or the right arrow brings up contract details. </p><p> </p><p> Just a thought and maybe I'm overlooking something, I feel like next to popularity in yellow, it should say "Contract Details" in grey to show the option is there, then when you toggle over to contract details, "Contract Details" switches to yellow and "Popularity" switches to grey, just to show you toggling back and forth. That way from the start it wouldn't be hidden. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Might anyone have a thought on how to do a manager promo for a worker who won't score well no matter what I rate them on? Even though they're just standing around while the manager is talking I think I still need to have them on-screen and rated in order for the segment to affect them.</p>
  13. I'm here for it, London. I'd quite like to play a non-RW database but not feeling this iteration of the CV at all! I think I'll give the L-Verse a spin.
